I'm still conflicted with this and Hasjo I am really sorry.

So instead of giving an all out no. I'm going to do things that the Republic asked of me in my nomination.

So [member="Hasjo Hallu"].

Can you give me reasons why you think Hasjo should be a Master, and reasons why he shouldn't. Outline his flaws and his strengths for me if you would be so kind.

@[member="Rasu Gan"], no need to apologise. I'll write it from a third person perspective. I wrote it in the format of a summary of his character. I didn't want to say 'why Hasjo deserves Master', because saying I deserve something makes me feel icky, sorry.

Hasjo Hallu began his training at the age of four, having been found on Coruscant itself and trained on Coruscant until the later age of nineteen. It was proven that whilst the Nautolan has been a social outcast among many friend groups, he is courageous and fearless for what he believes in. At the age on nineteen on Ossus, Hasjo and another padawan, Vash, discovered a crashed vessel belonging to a smuggler. When a Sith Lord, and his apprentice appeared to kill the smuggler. Rather than allowing the Sith to take the criminal, Hasjo defied them. Although he was outmatched and ultimately beaten, he had shown his worth. Returning to Coruscant, Hasjo would show himself to be a dedicated Naval Commander that whilst belonged in the military, still firmly believed all life was sacred and avoided killing whenever it could be missed.

As a member of the Silver Jedi Order, he has been an activist for the armed forces. Responsible for assembling Silver Engineering to provide the armed forces with unique military hardware. Well known among his enemies as a hunter of the Sith, but also known for his compassion. Though the Jedi General often tracks down Sith to arrest them, he is not there to kill them or attack them. The Nautolan offers to provide them redemption, to turn them back to the light side. None have currently accepted. During the siege of Coruscant, Hasjo aided in the evacuation of the youngling before offering his services on the front lines. He had gone above and beyond the call for duty, but was ultimately gunned down. Though he is now encased in what he believes is a 'durasteel coffin,' he continues his service. He firmly believes in the good of people, even those who have walked a darker path. He is always willing to place his life on the line to bring those from the darkness back into the light. Most notably recently, Hasjo attempted to defy the odds to save a fellow Jedi Knight. In a single starfighter, he infiltrated a Sith Star Destroyer to rescue Maya Whitelight.

His feats have been extensive, but these are not the only things that make Hasjo a well regarded Jedi Knight. Hasjo had a reputation for improvisation, and within hours he utilised the blaster as though he had spawned with it. His skill in a variety of weapons is well known, considered to be advanced in several, and a master with the exotic Lightsaber Pike. He is very much unconventional in the way that he trains. He finds and holds a belief that to train in the lightsaber arts, one must gain experience on the field rather than the training docks. He is known of saying that if a Jedi ever wished to know how to defend themselves against a Sith, it was not to defend oneself from a Jedi teaching you, but from a Sith who had the intention to do far more harm to you. It is a dangerous risk he places on himself, but it has shown in his aptitude for close combat. Unfortunately, Hasjo has always lacked a strong connection to the Force. As a child he scraped through the initiate trials, barely succeeding. Whilst his Master has taught him to strengthen his connection through physical meditation, it is still something that comes hard to him. Though he balances himself out in this case with his knowledge over a versatile armoury of weapons

In the end, Hasjo can be considered dangerously reckless and dull-minded in any proficiency over the force, having the skill of a novice. Yet holds a strong core belief that he is willing to risk his life to save the lives of others. That there is still good within even the most darkest of foes. He is an extremely talented and unconventional trainer and warrior, who places most of his attention on Voss' military defence than he does resting. All in all, as Hasjo is quoted as to saying, "All life is sacred."

[member="Hasjo Hallu"] thank you for that. I'm not sure if you realised or saw it but I'll ask again.
Why should Hasjo not make Master?

I'm unsure if you've explained this already but if you wouldn't mind clarifying for me thank you!

I clarified in that although he is courageous, his fearlessness has made him dangerously reckless to himself. And his skills in the force are novice at best, with only basic control over it.

Rianna Ordo said:
"All life is sacred, and Hasjo has a great deal of experience. So is it his being humble when he says that he is still but a novice with the force?"
Nay. Hasjo doesn't have a strong connection to the force, and what abilities he has is basic telekinesis and the Art of Movement. He was once formerly advanced in Force Bellow and Force Orb, but due to his life support system, he is unable to continue to use those powers. I've used his weakness in the force to even him out and balance him as a character. He is quite the powerful lightsaber combatant, but he needed a weakness too, and thus I've designed Hasjo to operate poorly with the force.
