DESCRIPTION
This piece of armor was made aboard the massive Gluttoneria battlecruiser, where in one of the forges, the Lord of Hunger toiled and sweat for days on end, facing his own never-ceasing hunger, his ever growing need to feed on both the lifeforce and the force connection of others just to satiate his own unquenchable thirst and desire, to numb the pain and temporarily reverse the effects of the rapid decay brought unto him by accelerated aging. Always on the brink of life and death, stuck within an excrutiating form of unlife, the Abomination within the force sought to make some of his powers more effective, more efficient. Rather than relying on touch in order to feed, it would be more accurate, more efficient to have a means through which to feed and gain power. yet, such a means needed to be protected, such a powerful boon needed to be made out of the finest material and with the finest techniques possible.

As a gifted engineer and master of sith alchemy and sorcery, the Lord of Hunger sought to once more unleash his own mastery over the materium to create a gauntlet which could effectively channel and strengthen his force drain, focusing it rather than unleashing it without abandon. Allowing it to work over greater distances rather than to just be a means available through touch. Many a materials were sought out and chosen.

While it boasts near indestructibility with its choice of materials and weaving techniquues, alchemy and sorcery, this gauntlet's thermal resistance is deceptive, as while it has a very strong resistance against heat and cold material wise, it doesn't truly stop all the heat and cold, having to rely on the materials within it to protect the wearer from the freezing cold and melting heat.

SPECIAL FEATURES

• Guided force drain: Due to the enhancements and the use of the sanguinite artificial kyber crystals as focusing lens, the user of this gauntlet is capable of utilizing force drain much more efficiently and more effectively, draining energy much faster and in much greater quantities with much less effort or concentration, and over a greater distance rather than purely by touch.
• Force amplifier: The sanguinite kyber crystals work in both directions, so while they can act as a focus lense for the force drain, they can also amplify the magniftude of other externally aimed force powers such as ex. force lightning and force push among others.
• Near indestructable (?!): The Zillonite compound making up most of the gauntlet's outer layer provides an unseen level of protection through its near indestructibility...

STRENGTHS

• Extreme defenses: Lightsabers, energy, the force itself... this gauntlet in and of itself could be considered indestructible...or at least the Zillonite compound which makes up the most of its outer layer.
• Power amplifier: One can never forget to list this kind of thing as a strength, for when it literally amplifies the strength of its wearer's attacks, you can never ignore it.
• Surprise weapon: With the Kinetite Shockwave Strike Weapon built into it, this gauntlet not only is a means to strengthen and defend, but to also strike when it is least expected.

WEAKNESSES

• Force Nullification: The use of any sort of force nullification would mainly target the talismans, the sith alchemy and spellweaving used to 'up' the effectiveness of the focusing of the sanguinite lenses and may hamper the sanguinite crystals themselves as well, but it would not lower the defensive power of the gauntlet itself...
• Not the swordhand: Due to the gauntlet's heavy weight, it is never to be used on the sword hand and thus can't be used to avoid potential disarments focusing on the aforementioned swordhand.
• Shattering the Sanguinite crystals: While not advised, the shattering of the sanguinite crystals would effectively do the same as force nullification...but it would also unleash any of the force energy still in transit (if done while performing a force technique) into a wild, violent spiral of unbiased destruction.
