  • Intent: A new palace for Ingrid and her family, since after she became an empress, they did not move to Wulfngard with Tubrok because they love Vengard more, but the old palace is too small for an Imperial family.

  • Structure Name: Grjótharður | Rocksolid
  • Classification: Palace
  • Location: Vengard | Kalidan
  • Affiliation: House L’lerim
  • Accessibility: Grjótharður is located on the outskirts of Vengard on the edge of the noble quarter, close to the mountains. Although it is located on the outskirts of the city, it is still very difficult to approach, as anyone who wants to get here has to go through countless checkpoints in order for the building to be accessible on the ground. Air traffic is also severely restricted for obvious reasons. However, from the tall buildings, or just from the outside of the city, the building of the new Empress and her family can be seen perfectly. The palace, and of course the wooded estate around it, can only be accessed with the special permission of the House L’lerim, and permission is also required for someone to enter the land on the ground or in the air. The palace is protected by an energy fence, energy shields and great military force.
  • Description: The palace is located on the edge of the city on a hill with a perfect view of the whole of Vengard, and on the other side you can see the nearby mountains. The building is tall, huge in size, reflecting both the Eternal Imperial architecture and the Clans, the two cultures that are important to the imperial couple. The building has enormous dimensions both inside and out, more upscale than the usual Eternal Empire standard, but since the couple were built from their own property and not on Empire money, this is acceptable. The palace would also be suitable for a smaller town, but this was also needed to accommodate adequate military, service and logistics personnel. If necessary, even STRATCOM can control the Empire from here.

Inside, the architectural style matches the exterior parts as well as the interior design made with the perfect harmony of metal-wood-stone. The dimensions are large here as well, each room has an internal height of several meters, everything is completely tastefully made. There are several different wings here for family members and different guests. Most of the tasks are performed by droids in the building, but there are also live staff of course. Additional wings are also available for various service and other functions.

The palace has a huge pine forest estate, covered with snow for most of the year. There is also a larger lake on the estate, not to mention a cave system with medicinal waters above which the palace was built.

Although the palace would be perfectly suited to serve as the Imperial Palace (Halls of the Emperor), it nevertheless serves only as a home for House L’lerim and especially important guests sometimes stay here (especially family friends), and the palace plays a greater role than a residence only in very special cases. The Empress and her husband (the Overlord) try to keep work away from their homes, if only because Ingrid is a workaholic, and at home she shouldn’t do the work because she would.

  • Royal residence: It occupies a fairly large part of the palace, which also has several baths and cave baths. The sleeping area is a huge large room with a large balcony that is located so that you can see the city and the mountains as well. From one part of the corridor of the apartment you can also see the main hall of the palace from a corridor with a railing. It occupies several floors and a large area. There is also a separate dining room and lounge. Not to mention that the kids’ apartment is also close to the couple’s bedroom. A direct secret tunnel from the net also leads to the panic room. This section also includes a private medical department that is only responsible for the health of the close family.
  • Panic room: It was made entirely for the late Adrian Vandiir, as he always loved to sleep in his “coffin” made of phirk in the greatest safety. The room was designed entirely according to his needs with the best possible security systems, with a secret flight in case he had to flee.
  • Guest residences: The castle can accommodate up to hundreds of people at a time. Unlike the rest of the Eternal Empire, these rooms are not as military and puritanical as a similar part of the Imperial Palace.
  • Family residence: The couple's families also have a separate section in the palace, including Ingrid's siblings and Tubrok’s family, or Hyrsi and Elofon. But even Cal Osborn has a residence reserved.
  • Secret corridors: The entire palace is full of secret passages and corridors that help with traffic and also function as escape routes if needed.
  • Libraries: There are actually two, a huge private library that only family members can use, and there’s a public one as well. There are thousands or tens of thousands of ordinary archaic books in both, not to mention the myriad of books that are in digital form in libraries, probably numbering in the millions.
  • Offices: Ingrid and Tubrok’s own office inside the palace, if they wanted to work from here, they could do it.
  • Government Department: A separate section within the palace, where STRATCOM can meet if necessary, and meetings can continue here if necessary. In addition, the leaders of the Three Clans always take care of the affairs of the clans here.
  • Treasury: The Treasury of House L’lerim, equipped with the best protection systems. Here the treasures, memorabilia or relics and artefacts of House L’lerim are kept. Not to mention the objects Ingrid inherited from Adrian.
  • Inside Garden: A huge interior evergreen garden with countless ecosystem vegetation. Numerous rare and unique plants and flowers can also be found here, along with birds and smaller animals.
  • Observatory: It is located on the side of the palace that does not face the city. It is equipped with the best observatory equipment.
  • Hangars: The hangars of the palace, where the personal and military (imperial and clan) vehicles are located. From a simple land vehicle to smaller spaceships, yachts. There is also a section for live animals.
  • Underground train : It was perhaps an even more grandiose project than the palace itself. A high-speed train underground that connects the palace to their former home, the HPI Consortium main building (located in Vengard), the Frost Company main base, and Wulfngard. It is possible to drive on the track at high speed, thanks to which you can travel quickly and unhindered between the government city and the palace.
  • Server units: This is a fairly large area, home to any living staff, generators, warehouses, service tunnels. This section also houses the Tsudakyr room, as well as the server rooms, not to mention the security rooms, cleaning supplies, or kitchen storage.
  • Barracks: Military personnel accommodation, training rooms and weapons rooms. They are located at several points in the palace, in case something happens somewhere, they can be there as soon as possible. Security rooms are also included in this section.
  • Estate: The estate is a huge area through which few roads lead. Mostly untouched nature is the whole. There is a huge pine forest here and a lake. In the far part of the estate, in a protected place, on two larger hills (almost smaller hills) there is a warm-water lake, on the shore of which there is also a country house, which can only be used by Ingrid and Tubrok (formerly Adrian).
  • Laboratories: In the basement of the palace there are several huge laboratories under the royal residence. Everything is equipped with the best and most modern equipment possible. There are several laboratories where any task can be performed from the natural sciences to sith alchemy. It was made for the whole Adrian Vandiir, but after his unfortunate early death, Ingrid kept these and now he uses them for his own experiments and projects.
  • Ruling Hall and Ballroom: A palace also needs a hall where the ruling couple can receive guests, have dinners and balls. That couldn't be left out either. It’s a huge hall that can hold up to thousands of people for a ball. If a meal has to be held, they can still accommodate roughly 1,000-1,500 people. If they make the tables denser, they will do even more.
  • Catacombs: In the underground parts of the palace is a huge catacomb system that stretches several levels deep into the ground. The dead of all three clans are located here, each deceased has a beautifully carved statue of stone and wood, as well as a hologram, not to mention earthly remains. The former had all been relocated from Nelvaan, as Kalidan was now their new home. The latest tomb and statue belongs to Adrian Vandiir, whose body is in stasis, waiting for the Sith Lord’s soul to return to his body once.

Grjótharður is not a very old building, it was actually completely finished after Ingrid's coronation and it was possible to move in afterwards. After the engagement of Adrian Vandiir and Ingrid L’lerim, construction began, progressing slowly due to the very detailed design and decorations. It was not originally intended to be the residence of a monarch, but in the meantime it turned out to be the home of the Empress and her husbands. The most beautiful site in the Vengard area was chosen for the palace; and this is a huge hill next to the city, from which the whole city can be seen and there is a beautiful view of the snowy mountains as well.

The palace was designed entirely by Tubrok Ragal and Ingrid. The construction took place entirely under the supervision of the HPI Consortium and House L’lerim, the money was also given by them, so it has nothing to do with the Empire, it is a private estate. Even the purchase of the venue was paid for by the HPI and House L’lerim to the city of Vengard, i.e. the Empire, which may be rather strange, since Ingrid was the baroness of the city and later the empress of the empire. What can be done? Vengard is the most beautiful city on Kalidan, no wonder Ingrid and Tubrok love it so much.

Adrian’s requests for what he wanted were also taken into account in the construction and design, as it was planned that the man would stay here more than once. Thanks to him, among other things, a “panic room” was created in the depths of the castle with similar protection to that of his similar place in Dromund Kaas, and in the basement of the castle there are several laboratories made for him; these are now used by Ingrid. In addition, there are numerous escape tunnels in the palace, and the panic room also has such a tunnel.

In addition, an underground train station was built to the palace, which provides access to downtown Vengard and the HPI Consortium’s main building there, as well as their old home, Whisperwind Castle, where Ingrid’s parents moved after. In addition, there is another railway line to Wulfngard, the construction of which has cost enormous amounts due to the distance, but thanks to this it is possible to reach the government city safely and quickly. Along the way, the rail will also take you to Frost Company’s main base.

Securing a place is also such that it is not Imperial but corporate and personal. It is for this reason that the interests of House L’lerim (Three Clans) and HPI are what secure and protect the place. Of course, if STRATCOM votes at any time to have Imperial Defence on the estate or in the palace, they will not say no. But in the meantime, they mainly use the services provided by HPI Consortium, Primyn Group and Globex Holding. It is for this reason, and partly because of Adrian, that there is also a Tsudakyr and some Karza'Arana in the palace.
