- Description: The 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, also known as the "Fighting First," is a unit of the Galactic Alliance Defense Force formed to serve as the Reconnaissance element of the 115th Infantry Regiment. Usually operating detached from its parent Unit, the 550-man battalion exists to carry out a myriad of types of reconnaissance, as well as to be the first response in answering planetary distress calls. Distinguishing them from many standardized paint schemes, members of the Fighting First wear digital-camouflage-painted armor with a scheme dependent on the planet they're deployed on.
