Private Fall Into the World

Location: Khemost Catacombs - Khemost
Objective: Escape from the Catacombs
Tags: Naivia Neryn Naivia Neryn

It had been a routine patrol.

Of course, with so much of Khemost being wild, uncharted territory filled with traps, dungeons, and various other hazards, the planet was always dangerous, even in parts of Midas. While House Io was making progress in taming Khemost, the sheer extent of the dungeons, tombs, catacombs, and underground ruins ultimately made doing so a nigh-impossible task. There was so much that was yet unexplored and would likely remain so for years, decades, centuries, and millenia.

And still, Esmeralda found herself surprised and scared when she fell into one of those very dungeons.

Fortunately, the Echani was saved from injury by the lyra gravity system integrated into her armor, which automatically slowed her descent as she plummeted through the gaping, yet invisible hole in the snow, disappearing from her squad in an instant. Esmeralda had been the only one to fall, but it didn’t take long for her sisters to realize that one of their number was missing, driving them to immediately execute a search, which had proven unsuccessful. Attempts to communicate had only resulted in static, but since Esmeralda’s transponder was still pinging her location, they quickly figured out that the Siren was somewhere underground.

They could not even begin to conceive how far down she was.

l5OsK2WRIakdinPMEUmiTfjImvCoIgzokyndTVyDulyET9gWacxIAbTYpaXQNcC0h0wjs_nC6G6W6-QRYFYqWtbIm5zgxRX8u5Q8bj50Z8UEkooWQOm97SE3a1kNzIkiweVCUr01
“Valeria? Syrena? Velexia?”

Nothing, once again.

Esmeralda coughed, her voice having become hoarse after the shouting. By now, the Echani knew that she might be wasting energy doing so, but she also knew that going through the catacombs alone was extremely dangerous. If someone could find and perhaps, pull her back out, maybe she wouldn’t have to do that.

Unfortunately, that hope was fading fast. It seemed she would have to find her own way out.

Checking the time, Esmeralda knew that it was already dark aboveground. The hole she had fallen through had been nigh-invisible even under daylight conditions. It went without saying that finding it at night would be nigh-impossible and extremely dangerous to boot, in case anyone fell while searching for her. Fortunately, the Siren knew that the circumstances of her fall could have been much worse. She was clad in vacuum-sealed armor with temperature regulation technology that kept her warm in spite of below freezing temperatures. She had rations to last a day, weapons with full loads of ammunition and power cells, and her armor had integrated mobility systems that would allow her to traverse over any obstacle. Finally, everything in her armor was powered by diatium power cells, which possessed natural recharging capabilities.

In short, with the exception of her droid, she had almost everything. Dying down here was by no means a foregone conclusion.

Taking a deep breath, Esmeralda sat down by the underground stream and checked her equipment, starting with her carried weapons, a disruptor rifle and a 10-gauge assault shotgun. They were deadly, savage instruments that could down most man-sized targets in a single shot. While Esmeralda was skilled in Gun Kata-style Teräs Käsi, when it came to her weapons, she preferred raw firepower above all else. After her weapons, she took her razor skates off of her boots, giving them a quick once-over before locking them back into place. They were one of her favorite pieces of equipment, giving her the ability to skate across any terrain, driven by tiny, mono-edged blade wheels that could slash through rock and metal. Unfortunately, she wasn’t skilled enough in their use to run the skates at full power, but the sheer adrenaline they sent coursing through her nerves and additional mobility made them more than worth the addition.

She wondered if they might help her survive the night.

Picking up her weapons, Esmeralda placed the disruptor rifle on a magnetic retaining strip on her back and loaded her shotgun with a magazine of slug rounds.

Then, with a determined glint in her eyes, the Siren set off into the depths, intent upon finding her way out of the catacombs.

At the beginning of it all...
One would expect a traveller of the level of insanity like Neryn to dare to visit the underground catacombs of Khemost at night to find interesting artefacts that can be used in the distant future to attract tourists and simpletons, or simply for the spirit of the time. For Neryn it has always been important to have a timeless condition, so the experience of icy vaults and ancient skulls stirred her imagination and drew back pages of the past in which she herself was part of the cults that filled this or that doorway and this or that room.
of that immense chain, in which, surprisingly, our bright lover of the deepest and furthest from escape path, was never lost. The girl had a perfect photographic memory and therefore even to play a joke with the fact that suddenly at one point she forgot the way back, was foolish and laborious when you had a whole encyclopedia of information in your head, even more than in the vault of her family. The girl's skin sensed the slightest change in temperature and wind direction and so she soon enough descended to the lowest floors, carrying only a special torch that not only had the properties of ordinary light, but could also discern the depths at which the owner of the instrument was located.
Very soon, hidden by the light dark blue cloak from the back, Neryn for the first time in nearly 5 hours of partying and analyzing all the possible sounds and music of the past was able to determine almost instantly that there was someone nearby. Her head immediately started buzzing with the thoughts of hundreds of girls and Singing Fire, thoughts that can't be expressed in full, but were about how crazy and suicidal one must be to be at a depth of about 90 metres, under dozens of metres of all kinds of material, and to move around in a brisk and peaceful way! Of course
Neryn had forgotten about herself and the fact that she hadn't brought a gun with her again, as she believed in pacifism and so she started walking at a high speed through the decayed staircases and corridors where she smelled corpses and other riches of the local ecosystem. When Neryn got close enough she waved and shouted cheerfully as if she were at home (though she was genuinely glad she'd found someone to talk to)

"Excuse me please! You wouldn't happen to be lost, would you? You don't usually roam around here at night..." Said Neryn, completely unaware that she herself was a walking monument of a thousand questions about who she was, what she was, where she was from, how she got here and so on.

Not a single step went unchecked.

In these catacombs, even a single misstep could mean immediate death or worse yet, being caught in some trap, to starve to death. Seeking to avoid that fate, Esmeralda had all of her armor’s scanners active, analyzing the details of her environment so that she could avoid any dangers. Going down a small flight of eroded steps, Esmeralda kept her eyes peeled as well, fearing that her scanners could miss something that might prove dangerous. All the while, the Siren slowly became more aware of the fact that she was entering the primary depths of the catacombs. It seemed that the only way out was through.

The sign that warned her of just how far she was from civilization was the humanoid skeleton sitting in an alcove, with broken ribs. Slowly approaching it, Esmeralda saw an ancient model proton rifle propped up on the wall adjacent to the skeleton, which still seemed operational, along with a brace of power packs and some thermal detonators.

Then, her lifeform sensors pinged a contact.

Without hesitation, the Siren brought her shotgun into a ready position in the direction of the contact, toggling the safety off as she did. While it could be someone coming to rescue her, Esmeralda didn’t have faith, knowing just how far down she was.

She needed to be ready for anything.

Anything, including a statuesque, ethereal-looking woman with piercing orange eyes, her form clad in a silk dress while her lips cast forth a voice that seemed as melodious as water flowing down a stream.

"Excuse me please! You wouldn't happen to be lost, would you? You don't usually roam around here at night..." Said Neryn, completely unaware that she herself was a walking monument of a thousand questions about who she was, what she was, where she was from, how she got here and so on.

“I…” Esmeralda paused, though she still kept her shotgun ready, just in case. “H-how’d you know? I haven’t been down here long…” She said, after a short, contemplative pause, before finally lowering her weapon and letting the breath escape from her lungs in relief.

“My name is Esmeralda. How’d you find me? Are you a citizen of House Io?”

At the beginning of it all...
Neryn in response also calmly continued walking towards the girl, gradually marking the first major difference, the girl in front of her was a few dozen centimetres smallee than her! This was cool and so she took her questions with understanding and squatted down to make it easier for the girl to listen to her.

"I am Neryn, Esmeralda. I wasn't looking for you, but I sensed you from a distance with a force . Logically, I thought that just showing up here would be stupid and the same as going to the next world. That's why I thought you were here against your will. I'd be happy to help you, but not here, but where I'm going, to the exit. "

Neryn studied Esmeralda's appearance and was left under a very pleasant impression, this girl could have been a famous actress or a singer or a dancer in a high-end bar, but since imagination had little to do with the reality of their situation, Neryn quickly returned to this world and extended her gentle, white-colour warm hand.

"Pleased to meet you, Esmeralda. Shall we go then, or can I help you carry something if it's hard for you? Don't worry please, I'm not as weak as I probably look."

It was important for Neryn to make the right contact so that she didn't hurt Esmeralda's feelings, she tried to choose only the right and sincere words, and how right they were in this situation, she didn't really care. Whoever Esmeralda was, there was something about her that made Neryn's mind warm to the idea of saving this girl and taking care of her condition if needed.

Esmeralda was used to virtually everyone being taller than her. However, it wasn’t a fact that made her angry or resentful, as the Echani believed that she had other characteristics and skills that more than made up for the “deficiency”, if it could even be referred to as such. She was a miracle of biological science who had graduated at the top of her training class, in the process beating out other miracles of biological science, who were conceived via state-of-the-art cloning and genetic engineering techniques. She had been born into the most lethal, capable, and savage house of warriors in the galaxy as one of its citizen-soldiers, a warrior imbued with the strength and responsibility to eradicate evil at all costs.

In short, while Esmeralda was technically less than a year old, she was well aware of just how good she had it. Or at least, how good she thought she had it.

Had she been of an angrier, more-insecure disposition, the Siren might have taken offense to the statuesque woman kneeling down to her level. Instead, she took it as a gesture of kindness, to which she gave the beautiful, fire-eyed woman a soft smile in response.

“Neryn? It’s…good to not be alone down here. And wait! You have the Force?!” Esmeralda asked, her eyes going wide at the revelation.

"Pleased to meet you, Esmeralda. Shall we go then, or can I help you carry something if it's hard for you? Don't worry please, I'm not as weak as I probably look."

“Well…I know for sure that you aren’t weak, since you’re Force-sensitive.” The Siren giggled. “I guess I could say the same.” She continued. “I’m a Siren. With both of us working together, we have a good chance of surviving, I’d say. I appreciate the offer, but I don’t need any help carrying anything.” She said, in a grateful tone.

“But that said…if you need any weapons…” Esmeralda gestured to the skeleton in the alcove, with the proton rifle and warstaff propped up next to it. “There are thermal detonators in the bandolier.” She added.

“These catacombs are dangerous, so if you need weapons, best to have them.”

Naivia Neryn

At the beginning of it all...
Neryn squatted the whole time and listened intently to Esmeralda, absorbing her words and thoughts very carefully so as not to forget anything, although with her memory level it was unrealistically difficult. After offering to use the weapon, the girl thanked Esmeralda in her own likeness , gently kissing her hand and responding with a smile.

"Thank you so much for the offer , I can see that you have your own way of worrying even about strangers but I really can handle it , in case anything happens I am ready to use force to protect you as well since we have a long way to go and possible aggression from the local life forms that exist but for now seem not interested enough in us being so deep underground . "

After her words Neryn still took a couple of weapons to help the girl and carefully touched the walls felt the closest passage to the exit to the higher levels, all calculated and said the approximate time of ascent to the surface

"About 5 hours to go up, I realize you're probably a times better equipped than I am, but that said, if you get tired or want to feel a sense of peace of mind, I'm willing to carry you. And please don't be afraid of me, I'm a completely peaceful and open minded girl."

Neryn walked ahead, but not too fast so Emerald would have time to keep up with her. From behind Neryn had an almost perfect build : the mixture of small sexy hips, slender tall legs, a straight back like a dancer's and aristocratic arms made her in any society a woman of the highest class in beauty. But she never thought about how many men and women she attracted with her small breasts and hips and especially with her eyes, which were ready to absorb all the knowledge and sensations the galaxy had to offer her. So once again she hovered in the clouds, dreaming of different palaces, remembering journeys of the past and occasionally stopping to look at Esmeralda and if anything help you

"Am I correct in assuming that you are, well, part of some armed group? Unless, of course, that information is confidential to a simple girl like me."

She was beautiful.

Neryn took the lead unprompted, compelling Esmeralda to follow in her path. While the woman was seemingly woefully underdressed for exploring such a dangerous catacomb, the Echani knew that Force-users had the ability to keep themselves warm and detect danger, perhaps better than any technology could do the same. Perhaps Neryn didn’t need any armor or weapons like Esmeralda did, though the Siren was eager to see her power unleashed against an enemy.

And yet, just watching her move was entrancing enough.

Slender, delicate shoulder blades poked out from Neryn’s back, moving in rhythm with the graceful steps of her long legs. She was built like a dancer, with lean, rippling musculature and a statuesque physique no doubt capable of dazzling, preternatural feats of motion. For her part, Esmeralda tried, yet failed to resist staring as she followed the woman from one room to the next.

“Yes.” Esmeralda confirmed, responding to Neryn’s question. “I am a citizen-soldier of House Io and a Fourth Class Siren Trooper of the Siren Corps.” She continued. “We are a family of warriors and Khemost, well…it is our home. I was on patrol with my squad when I fell through a hole in the snow, which is how I got trapped down here.” Esmeralda said.

“What kind of relationship do you have with House Io?”

At the beginning of it all...
"Warrior citizen? A very interesting mix of personal status and professional career, I hope it brings you not only cold realism towards the world, but also positive emotions, without which it is very difficult and emotionally costly to survive on a planet like this. You say you fell? But with your equipment of course you were able to save life and the integrity of all body systems. But all the same, when we leave and head back to your outpost, we'll need a personal medical check-up from the doctors, as I'm personally concerned about your condition. I am acquainted with Laertia Io, a close friend so to speak, but in general I am not yet a full member of this house as I do not wish to have direct links with any organization in the galaxy as
it prevents me from moving freely through systems and sectors and impairs my ability to make open minded choices as certain dogmas can narrow my logical thinking apparatus, and I don't need that. Anyway, I'm really glad I met you and can help me get to the rest of the Sirens in your group. Don't worry about me, in a pinch I'll get to a more or less civilized part of this planet on my own and move on from there, but those are plans for the future and in the present we need to get out in at least partial safety, I'll cover you if the number of enemies is too high. Anyway Esmeralda, I'm here for you and you needn't worry about anything!"

As Neryn shared her impressions of the encounter that had already taken place, one could see that her body was moving rather cautiously while doing so, it was ready to move sharply and protect both herself and Esmeralda, and her hands were slightly clenched, such was the unfinished combat form of Neryn, whose aim was to create the safest distance possible between herself and her opponents in order to perform certain movements and blows with forces that were tens of times stronger than her physical ones.
She didn't pay much attention to her companion's eyes openly staring at her hips and legs, but soon she began to feel the girl's gaze on her and looked in her direction with a face full of hope

"Sorry for the personal question, do you hold to traditional sexual values or do you have your own view of love and relationships? Was it just me or did I really feel like you were staring at me from behind for a bit long? If you do , I don't mind it, don't worry"

“It…brings me both, I think…just as you said.” Esmeralda pondered outwardly. “Being a Siren…it’s more than just a career. I have hobbies and things that I do outside of being a soldier, but…I was born for this.” The Echani continued. Indeed, not a word of what she said was a lie or even an exaggeration. She had been created through Engineered Variance Cloning, intended to be a Siren from the moment of her conception. In her mind, life could be no different.

“Oh thank you Neryn, but really, I’m fine. Maybe a little bruised, but the fall wasn’t bad.” Esmeralda clarified in a grateful tone. All the while, the Echani took in her new surroundings as she followed Neryn into yet another chamber, which was seemingly identical to the last one. There were small, man-sized alcoves along the walls, roughly 10 on each side for a total of 20.

Then, for two reasons, Esmeralda came to a halt.

First, Neryn’s question, which made her features go red with embarrassment. While her helmet concealed some of her shame, its visor was transparent and as such, Neryn would likely see how Esmeralda had reacted. However, the second reason was more pressing, but also convenient, in a sense.

The alcoves had slid open and inside, there were inert third-generation dark troopers.

“I-I…” Esmeralda stammered awkwardly, in response to Neryn’s last question.

Then, as if on cue, the dark troopers’ photoreceptors began to emanate a violent crimson red and the droids began to slowly hum to life.

“Neryn, I think we just walked into a trap.”

At the beginning of it all...
Neryn reacted in an instant and took the warstaff in her hands, gripping it tighter with her hands and crouching down slightly. It was obvious that her breathing style had changed dramatically, and her fiery eyes from relaxed abruptly became more focused and attentive, it was obvious that she was trying to calculate as quickly as possible all possible types of attack and the chance of saving Esmeralda's life . She looked at the girl with the eyes of a true guardian of life and death, there was worry, questions and anguish. She then returned her gaze to the darktroopers and used telepathy to communicate with Esmeralda. "Try to find a good shooting distance and I'll take the front and try to destroy them with force. You can just think about my question for now, it'll be okay, I'm with you" Leaping forward the girl delivered a powerful physical blow to the central processes of the robots, during the jump she plucked a pair of heavy ancient torches from under the ancient pillars and easily like bullets began to send them into the walking robots, at the same moment she used force to take control of the material that was made from the bodies and made it rot harder. Dodging nearby blows and blocking laser bullets made Neryn look like she was in a ballet opera, and instead of a partner she had her opponents, who she slowly destroyed, turning their own bodies into a pile of scrap metal of varying degrees of rarity. Fighting in such cramped conditions was not easy, but Neryn's athletic body allowed her to move even in such circumstances. In the end, after a couple of minutes, all the robots were severely mangled, the result of hard blows from each other and other unpleasant details of the fight with Neryn , who happily studied them.

"Doesn't seem to turn on any more, did you hurt yourself? Is everything alright Esmeralda?"

Neryn asked, walking over to the girl and as last time squatting down and gently stroking her hair with her hand.

The fiery light in Neryn’s eyes seemed to glow with the Force as the dark troopers began to rouse from their collective slumber. Glancing over at her companion, Esmeralda could almost feel the aura of power around her, but the Siren was a soldier. As such, she did not let her gaze linger on the beautiful woman, nor did she waste any time when every second could mean life or death.

Instead, Esmeralda set to work on neutralizing the enemy.

A soft, mechanical click preceded destruction as Esmeralda set her aim on the neck of a dark trooper that was still in the process of activation and was therefore an easy target. Then, without hesitation, she squeezed the trigger, unleashing a massive, 10-gauge slug that ripped through the neck of the droid and took off its head, effectively spawn killing it, before the automaton could retaliate. She repeated the same sequence of actions for the two dark troopers in the alcoves next to it, her shotgun sounding out a pair of earsplitting booms, decipating one dark trooper, then another in short order. The Siren set her sights on taking down a fourth, but the dark trooper was already moving by the time she got her crosshairs on it. Instead, her slug struck the droid’s armored torso, but the kinetic force the projectile carried was enough to ablate the dark trooper’s armor, allowing her next two slugs to finish it off. As the fourth dark trooper fell, Esmeralda set her sights on the one behind it, firing two slugs into its chest and dealing considerable damage, but the dark trooper remained operational in spite of the attack.

Worse yet, the Siren’s magazine was empty.

“Reloading! Cover me, Neryn!” Esmeralda’s energy shield coalesced around her form like a skintight film, protecting her from the retiatory barrage of blaster fire as she moved into cover within one of the alcoves of a destroyed dark trooper. Slamming a fresh magazine into the shotgun, Esmeralda found her attention briefly drawn towards Neryn as she danced and flew past blaster fire like a bloodthirsty ballerina. No doubt, the Siren was enraptured by the woman’s beauty, but she didn’t let it leave her vulnerable. With a mental command, Esmeralda loosed a salvo of nano missiles from the launcher on her right thigh. However, they were not intended to attack, but rather, to defend. Going off in front of the two women, the missiles unleashed a cloud of pink, energy-neutralizing gas, which was designed to neutralize blaster fire.

Now, the momentum was back on her side.

Immediately, Esmeralda rapid-fired her shotgun into the group of dark trooper’s from behind the protective embrace of the gas, finishing off the damaged automation before cutting down two more after and weakening another, giving Neryn the opportunity to finish it off while Esmeralda switched to her disruptor rifle.

By the time the shotgun was on her back, the fight seemed over.

Esmeralda winced, glancing down as she took in the pair of fresh blaster score marks that marred the white of her armor, on her thigh. Her armor’s medical suite diagnosed the wound as second-degree burn, before quickly pumping bacta and burn salve into the site of the injury. Stumbling onto a knee, the Siren cried out as the chromostring injected the medication, while Neryn rushed to take her helmet off and began to stroke her hair.

“I’m okay Neryn…” The Siren breathed. “It’s just…superficial.” She winced.

“Can you give me my helmet back? There might be more…coming!”

Naivia Neryn

At the beginning of it all...
"Look, I get it, you're a soldier, you're a defender of the interests of a certain group or house, but you're also a lady and a girl! And a lady and a girl should take care of her body no matter what social stratum you come from, how much effort, money and love has been invested in you and what motivates you. Don't ever forget that please! While I'm around I will try to help you as much as I can, as I want you to be well, as life is a very strange thing and cruel, I know from my experience. I'm not your close friend, but I wouldn't mind taking care of you if something happens. Can't I see your pretty face some more? You have a very pretty face and eyes, Esmeralda, a personal compliment."
After that Neryn gently kissed the girl on the forehead and returning her helmet turned around and began to study the atmosphere around her again looking for more threats, she could sense another small group of dark troopers and with a smile indicated that she could handle it herself and with a slight raise of her hands she concentrated the power from both sides of the passage and after a second the hallway collapsed turning paramilitary robots into jelly from different ores. Neryn returned the walls to their original position and with a happy laugh went forward, gradually climbing higher and higher, though the rest of the way was still long and possibly hard.

So Neryn continued walking, occasionally stopping to remember or synthesise something more clearly in her mind. Finally she made up her mind and asked Esmeralda a small question "What do you want to be in the future? Or to run away somewhere in case you get tired of this crazy work? Do you have such desires? For example I am still single, but I try to visit as many worlds and meet as many representatives of different races as possible! That is my point of view on life! It's hard, but together we will get through it all!"

“Neryn, I-” Esmeralda was instantly at a loss for words when the fiery-eyed woman gazed into her soul, blush manifesting across her pale features as the kiss was pressed against her forehead. Immediately, a rush of conflicting emotions overcame the Echani in the heat of the moment, ranging from love to confusion and back again. Not once had the Echani dated or had physical intimacy with anyone outside of the Sirens or yet more, outside of House Io. The life of a soldier was difficult, with its share of hardships, tragedies, and triumphs that she believed could only truly be shared with brothers, sisters, and comrades. While Neryn was a friend, perhaps even something more, the Siren could not call her a comrade.

And yet, Esmeralda found herself immeasurably entranced by the fiery-eyed woman.

The fact that Neryn found her beautiful as well, in addition to having kissed her, told Esmeralda that they were compatible, at the very least. She didn’t have to worry about accidentally flirting with a straight woman or coming off as creepy. That was a relief…

Right?

And yet, the revelation seemed to have elicited more questions than answers.

Drawn out of her thoughts by Neryn’s display of power, effectively pancaking the dark troopers like they were naught but ants under her boot. Once again, Esmeralda was stunned by the woman’s beauty and power. To say the least, the prospect of a being as powerful and Goddess-like as Neryn being attracted to her terrified the Echani.

Leg now somewhat healed, with the pain having subsided owing to the Numbspray, Esmeralda picked herself up from the ground and followed after Neryn. As always, the woman was full of life, energy, and curiosity in equal measure. Esmeralda was a homebody by comparison, even though she had done her share of traveling as well, though only because she was a Siren and a citizen-soldier of House Io.

“Neryn, that’s…amazing.” Esmeralda began. “I…don’t know what the future holds for me.” The Echani continued.

“I’ve always envisioned myself doing this until the day I die.”

Naivia Neryn

At the beginning of it all...
Neryn walked quite slowly, so that every word from Esmeralda would reach her in its fully preserved form and exactly in the semantic intonation that was originally intended for her. Along with this, various questions swirled in her mind: How much longer would they have to go up? (Although she knew the answer to the question, she was just worried that Esmeralda would have a hard time or she hadn't eaten enough before going on the mission and finding herself stuck at this depth with a girl who was exactly what she wanted for majestic treks through God-forsaken places, let it be mountains or dungeons, didn't matter much) Would she still be able to help Esmeralda somehow? (Not only that) And at the very least, who could help them? And many other questions, the purpose of which was simply to spend more time with Esmeralda, who by the way was beginning to appeal to her more romantically and not as a friend. Two hours passed, during which Neryn danced, sang songs and gags, and told stories from her life: about men's cruelty towards her, her work as an assassin when she was a teenager, her flight to the Outer Colonies and much more. She was happy to share her story, it made her more alive and real and not as beautiful as a fairy tale (at least, that's what Neryn hoped for herself). Eventually the girl came back to reality and stopped, looked around and said more less sharply

"I can carry you in my arms, so you won't have any trouble with the armor and the weapons, and I will rest when we get to the nearest place, if you don't mind my spending a little more time with you. The truth is, you can be anything you want to be... Not only as a soldier but as a girl, you can fall in love with someone, get married, travel the world together and share your joy and sorrow together , so do not be afraid of changes and new acquaintances, they can give you the most important person in life or change your life in a better direction . But then again, it's up to you, I can't dictate your heart's desires "

Two hours passed with very little incident as Esmeralda followed Neryn through the catacombs, moving past various deadly traps, puzzles, and even a maze in the process. And yet, Neryn’s preternatural sense of intuition and danger, perhaps stemming from her connection to the Force, made bypassing the obstacles simply a matter of following her lead. For that, the Echani was grateful. Even with the advanced sensors in her armor, the Siren doubted that she would have made it past so many obstacles on her own or in such a short span of time. Left alone, she might have been stuck down here for days.

All the while, Esmeralda found herself entranced as Neryn sang, danced, told stories, and spoke of who she was. This was a woman who had lived a long, fulfilling life, and yet had much more to live for, even if only to explore the galaxy for the simple joy derived in the act of doing so.

While Esmeralda admired Neryn’s innocent wanderlust, in spite of all the things she had been through, the Siren found that she couldn’t relate.

However, that didn’t detract from Neryn’s preternatural beauty.

“I have no intention of straying from this life.” Esmeralda reiterated. “I’m a Siren. I meant it when I said that I was made for this.” She continued. “I wasn’t born through…natural means. Neryn, I’m an Engineered Variance Clone or…a Strand-Cast, to use a more general term.” The Siren breathed, before turning to face the woman. “I'm an adult, but I was created slightly less than a year ago. Actually…in ten days, it’ll be a year.” She added, remembering that her birthday was fast approaching.

"I’m sorry if that…creeps you out.” She blushed.

At the beginning of it all...
Neryn stopped and turned towards Esmeralda, opening her fiery eyes and carefully examining the mood that was changing not only in the girl's words but in the movement of the muscles on her face, then she smiled and squatted down and put her warm arms around Esmeralda , pulling her into hug, so that she could hear her heartbeat and whispered softly in her ear so as not to frighten her. "Esmeralda, in no way can I have such negative feelings and emotions towards such a kind-hearted and sensitive girl like you. Maybe I don't fully understand the point of things and am being wrong or saying silly things, but know this, to me you are a unique star, with your emotions , dreams , goals , fears and emotions. Don't let your dark prejudiced and worries rob you of the breath of life and destiny. Be whoever you want to be, but that shouldn't stop you
making alliances with others, both friends and those you've fallen in love with. This is very important. Stay beautiful and unsurpassed in your style , Esmeralda, that's one of the reasons why I liked you at first sight." Neryn said and stroked the girl's hair very gently and with care, after which she spent the next five minutes in silence, after which she stood up and held out her hand to Esmeralda "We can go like this and you won't be sad, alright? And tell me if you have any systems or planets you'd like to visit if not now, then in the near future or just settle down somewhere for a while and get a buzz of a little freedom or maybe I can visit you occasionally when you're resting between missions. What do you say?"
The girl then waited for a reaction, giving Esmeralda time to ponder and analyze her companion's behaviour.

No doubt, the fiery-eyed woman was extremely beautiful and powerful beyond mortal measure, but Esmeralda did not share her desire to explore the galaxy to such an extent that doing so might compromise her obligations as a Siren and a citizen-soldier of House Io. Neryn went down onto her knees in front of her, but Esmeralda could only frown, feeling slightly anxious.

Esmeralda’s expression was flat, but a soft smile emerged on her features as Neryn gave her a hug. The Echani sighed and hugged back, her muscles going slightly tense with the motion.

“Thank you Neryn, but I…” Esmeralda paused. “I already told you, I live a different life. I’m not an explorer, like you are.” She continued. “I’m a soldier.” The Echani reiterated. “If you want, we can travel and go places when I have leave, but I’m not deserting just to travel. My family needs me. House Io needs me.” Esmeralda finished, her tone uneasy, yet forceful.

“I love you, Neryn, but I need you to understand this, before we..." Her words strayed off and Esmeralda felt butterflies arise in her stomach.

For the moment, she had no more words left.

At the beginning of it all...
Neryn sat carefully as close as possible, absorbing all Esmeralda's words and feelings with the finest sense of care and tact, but the last sentence flew in with such force that she herself awkwardly felt butterflies fluttering in her stomach and her cheeks flushed slightly. After the words were no longer being born from the depths of her mind, the girl put her hand on Esmeralda's chin and raised it slowly so that her eyes were level, herself a little embarrassed and aware of the importance of this moment as she smiled and replied with a small sentence.
"I understand everything and I am ready to help protect House of Io and your family when you need it, I don't want you to suffer and worry alone, we will get through this together Esmeralda" She then held the girl even closer and touched her very sensually with her lips to lips, giving her a fiery kiss and with it the hope that Esmeralda could respond to it.

Neryn's fiery eyes blazed with love and it was hard to contain the pressure of feelings and plans for the future that had arisen in a couple of hours, but she was mindful that they were not on the surface and tried to limit her very clear romantic response to the possible beginning of a relationship between her and Esmeralda . She did not care at all about Esmeralda's height or mindset or body shape, she accepted her for who she was and no more. Her hands stroked the back of the girl as if giving her comfort and a feeling of being free to choose her answers and actions, she did not want to manipulate her, so she did everything judiciously and gently, and most importantly, with love.

The helmet came off.

It was as if it had simply disappeared and with it, Esmeralda’s hesitation as Neryn’s fiery gaze bore deep into her own, entrancing the Siren in the manner of a hypergem. She felt Neryn pull her close and suddenly, the Echani could feel her aura, breathe in her scent, and sense the divine power in her soul.

Then, they kissed.

Esmeralda let herself fall into Neryn’s heart, reciprocating the kiss in turn as her hands moved to grab onto Neryn’s torso. Opening her eyes, the Echani felt them recoil, before they quickly adjusted to the luminosity of the demigoddess’ fiery gaze.

“Neryn…I just hope that…I don’t disappoint you.” Esmeralda said, a few moments in the afterglow of the kiss. “But…if this works out, then maybe one day we can become part of each others' families.” She added with a soft smile, before moving in to kiss the demigoddess once more, now initiating where Neryn had done so before.

“You…are…so beautiful!” Esmeralda breathed in between kisses. “I know I need to get out of here, but…” The Echani paused, her icy gaze locked onto Neryn’s fiery orbs as they drank in the woman’s divine aspect.

“I want this to last forever.”

At the beginning of it all...
"You are as good and sexy as I am, dear Esmeralda. I would even say your looks in their own way captivate my eye and heart and I find it unique and very feminine." Neryn tasted Esmeralda's kiss and found that she liked it very much and perhaps even later she would taste those sweet girl lips again, but for now she wanted to feel that magical union of spirit and body that she had found being embraced now. She was conscious of the fact that they had to keep climbing, at least so that by morning they would be on the surface and they could be found, as it would be silly and incongruous at night. Neryn's heart, instead of the maddening thrusts in her chest, sang a lyric of love and happiness, which was expressed in the girl's desire to hold Esmeralda's small body tightly against her and feel her scent, her warmth, her love...
"I don't mind hiding from the world of business and the beauties of various worlds for one second in this romantic silence with you." Neryn didn't let go of Esmeralda, stroking her back and waist and kissing her lips and cheeks while the element of passion ruled over her and only after about ten minutes did consciousness return to her and with a sweet laugh she commented on her attitude "What an interesting life after all! How could I have known that I would meet my future girlfriend in the ancient catacombs underground! Wow!!! I hope you agree? Do you want to go on holding hands or do you want to stay like this?" The fiery eyes blinked sweetly and Nerynoo's hands g lifted Esmeralda's helmet so she wouldn't forget it and brushed it a little "That's better."
