SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Automated and controlled by an intelligent droid brain.
  • Fast and deadly. The Eradicator specialises in close assault. It is ideal for clearing out entrenched enemy positions such as bunkers as well as scything down infantry, while also being able to fight enemy vehicles.
WEAKNESSES
  • Being a droid walker, the Eradicator Assault Walker is very tech-heavy. Even with defensive features like shielding and Reinforced Duraplast, heavy ion and EMP artillery and bombs can pierce its defences and render the walker immobile or destroy it.
  • Being a walker, the legs are an obvious weak spot. If it loses too many it is crippled.
DESCRIPTION

The Eradicator is heavy assault light walker designed for close assault. Armed with a powerful array of weapons, it can flush out enemy infantry out of bunkers and trenches but still has enough firepower to take on enemy vehicles. Its sharp legs are also good at cutting people apart. Its quadrupedal propulsion makes it more comparable than classical walkers with a comparable purpose such as an AT-ST. Its all-terrain legs give it a firm grip and enable it to traverse a variety of terrain, even fairly difficult types.

In keeping with Enyo's design philosophy, the walker is automated. The Unity Processing Matrix acts as a powerful droid brain, resulting in numerous improvement compared to a standard droid that does not use the digitalised minds of organic beings. It also has the beneficial side-effect that if it is used in conjunction with organic troops and they go rogue or run away, the walker will remain under its handler's control and be able to terminate the traitors in an as brutal manner as possible to make an example to others. The Eradicator will press on to complete its task until it has been destroyed, its mission has been accomplished or it has been redeployed. It is programmed to fulfil its objective in the most efficient fashion possible.

The Eradicator's advanced sensor suite increase the effectiveness, range, and sensitivity of the walker's sensor suite and communication array. The long range sensor array can scan a variety of different phenomena. The walker is quite large for its type, and has enough space to accommodate a couple passengers. It has not been designed with comfort in mind and thus conditions are fairly cramped. Usually the passengers will be droids, but organic soldiers can obviously also use the walker as a troop transport. However, they will not find it particularly ergonomic.

Organics, being objectively inferior beings, need to do silly things such as eat because otherwise their components degrade. It is not cost-efficient if food needs to be brought to the crew. But MREs are obviously unhealthy, and organics are too illogical to only eat what is good for their body. Thanks to machine ingenuity, it is possible to incorporate a Nutrimax Dispenser. Naturally it has been locked to nutritional needs to make sure organics cease consumption the moment their nutritional needs are met.
