PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Kezec stands slightly above average height though by no means is a figure many would be drawn to as he wanders through a crowd. Judging his weight and athleticism is often ambiguous, given the layered and rather asymmetrical form his dress takes. Expected of his kind, the sorcerer wears a headcover to conceal his vestigial eyelids in the form of a dark maroon blindfold embroidered and accentuated by geometric design stitched in metallic gold, or in the form of dark, red-tinted sunglasses with rounded lenses. Over this, most often one can find a hood that only serves to better shade his features and reserve the anonymity he often craves; should his face be better exposed by the light, his skin is a pale shade with a warm undertone.

His typically masked features are sharp and chiseled, with a strong jaw and angular cheekbones to match, and a nose that rests just slightly crooked to the right from prior injury. His facial hair is kept surprisingly tidy and sharp, groomed to form a rather dashing ‘Van Dyke’ handlebar and goatee combination. Beneath both of his eye sockets, singular black dots rest tattooed into his flesh, pairing with the extravagant, mostly unseen cadaver bird carved in wicked hues of black soaring across his back. The vulture’s head is depicted as rotten to the bone, and each of its wings spans down over his shoulders and arms, with the longest flight feathers reaching the peaks of his elbows.

VENEER:
The sorcerer carries himself with an air of self-assuredness, perhaps speaking wordless volumes of his confidence and the seemingly laid-back attitude he has in his approach to many things. Though with his chin up and his shoulders back, he may come across initially as arrogant; this perception is likely the more accurate of the two. When the sensitive gaze upon Halketh, his Force Presence is more than obvious; his darkened proclivities bleed from him fully and freely, often corruptive and insidious in their effects on his environment.

Twisted by self-imposed isolation and broken by silence ushered in by grief, pieces of his mind were lost- scattered to the wind- over the years, leaving him often unpredictable and violent. Such tendencies go unnoticed and tend to be well-managed, though his bouts of psychosis do affect his day-to-day. Mistakes made haunt him in a literal sense, manifested by a wicked insight into the Netherworld and attunement to the spirits of the dead he was granted with his birth. Where this gift was hidden from The Jedi, he embraced it fully with his exile and amidst his crimes, he found grave comfort in the Dark.

The tragedy of Csilla was the final nail in the proverbial coffin, where he found his only comfort at the helm of the damned, laying waste to a battlefield that was inaccessible to any living soul. He found comfort in his power and thus, retreated back to his older, more reclusive ways, toiling in secret to raise and reinforce the ranks of his army to a level previously unseen.

The Brotherhood of the Maw has offered him respite and solace, though, given their nature, he's found himself in a state of dangerous limbo where he must suppress internal strife and struggle, lest he paints an even broader target upon his back for those who would kill him for his title alone.

HISTORY:

In the fringes of conflict where throes of turmoil upended worlds and fractured factions, spread the malignant silence of death. And where such insidiousness spanned, came the curious and insatiable enticement of power. A mere rumor amongst scavengers; an utterance between hovels and outcroppings in decimated ruin- a ghost. A shade with seemingly naught more to him than the shadow bound to tread behind him. He swept in on unseen wings to pick apart what remained, claiming his fill and vanishing upon the wind which had carried him to the echo of ruin. But where had he come from? What was he? None knew the answer, not from the distance they swore to keep from him, at least. Chaos churned about his form, clinging deeply to the Presence he concealed despite him. The air held heated and dry breath as if the very nature of the wicked sorcery gnashing at him from within perverted what rest could be found. It was a simple aura, really. A passive lash towards those who may try to stop his endless visitation; stay away, or be devoured.

Yet possessing power as he may, Master Kezec never found himself on the frontlines or amongst the many clashing in the turbulence of conquest, no, he was not usually a warrior. Such a thing was far too simple for a man with ambitions as cunning as his own. He sought revenge on those who had wronged not only him but the people which he had left behind, too.

A bloody, unbelievable warpath on a scale far too grand for any one man to ever hope to achieve- and hope, he did not.

No, Kezec would simply will it into being.

With the coalescence of his greater power and achievement to master what it was he sought to do, Kezec ventured out to incorporate himself, finally setting about the sowing of seeds into the minds of those who would wage war alongside him.

“I assume that there is no one that can find my peace of mind.”

The path to renewal had begun.

He waged war alongside of the New Imperials until being elevated to Warlord status over the Carlac Province, earning him control of the icy planet and its sister Wistril. Strangely, he sunk his teeth deep into politics with this assignment and erected an absolute titan of manufacturing from the ice, creating an economic giant and launching Carlac into the modern, industrial age. He rules Carlac with leniency, choosing to be beloved by his people for what he does for them, rather than feared for what he does to them- a stance that has easily earned him suspicion and disdain amongst the other New Imperial warlords and their governments. He stands alone with no friends of his own and few people he truly would consider his allies but remains resolute nonetheless.

Somewhere between joining the New Imperial Order and the development of Carlac into what it is seen as today, he took an apprentice, a young rattataki girl by the name of Cassiy. He developed a tight bond with her as she supported and grew alongside him, building a close friendship far more than just a mentorship. Over time, she became his sole anchor to the world in many regards, and it was through her he felt the humanity he thought lost to the Dark again.

Yet, like all good things as he had come to learn, it would not last.

"What would something like that cost you, Master? Everything?"

Cassiy's violent and tragic death tore a hole through the man he has been unable to recover from since, leaving him a hollow, unstable shell of his former composure. He's more vulnerable now than ever before, to the corruption of the Darkside, though the questions raised by his apprentice's death have countered this in how they have forced him to reconsider and reevaluate what it is he wishes to do- what he wants from his life. In the wake of her death, Halketh was met by a new face who would eventually grow far closer to him than any other before, an epicanthix by the name of Ezra Dune Ezra Dune .

Ezra and Halketh, edited by @Ezra Dune.

Wielding immense necromantic power, Halketh revitalizes battlefields with the ironic grasp of death, plucking souls from its handbasket and thrusting them back out upon their killers for vengeance and to further whatever agenda suits him in the present. Where he used to conceal and mask this affinity for commanding the dead from his allies, most have witnessed it first hand, and while they may disagree, so long as it benefits them, most are willing to stand aside.

After a lengthy absence following the annihilation of Csilla, Lord Halketh returned to his people a man cemented on his original objective. The Brotherhood of the Maw's engagement on Ilum saw him venture there as well, where he came face to face with the Dark Voice and Sith'ari, Darth Solipsis. A lengthy, taxing battle ensued with both sides suffering injuries, but ultimately, Darth Solipsis prevailed, incapacitating the miraluka and abducting him.

In the months that followed, Lord Halketh's truest sight was realized and his vision glimpsed by the depths of Darth Solipsis' depravity and familiarity was found. The Dark Lord took the estranged Warlord beneath his care, naming him as Shadow Hand in secret, whilst the two plotted the downfall of the New Imperial Order. Years of planning would finally bear fruit, as when he returned to Carlac at last, the Warlord declared independence for his people and rallied them to face the NIO when they would inevitably arrive to squash their rebellion; backed by the Maw in secrecy.

While the Warlords and Moffs of the NIO deliberated their plan to counter Halketh's proclamation, the soldiers he planted within the meeting were called to action, and detonated themselves in the compact space, wounding many of the NIO leaders and killing Irveric Tavlar, The Imperator, outright.

This success saw Lord Halketh renamed Darth Caelitus by Darth Solipsis, and officially burdened with the title of Dark Lord of the Sith.

Two successful escapades later saw the Dark Lord at the helm of the Confederacy of Independent System's
devastating loss on Rhand, where he successfully deployed the superlaser outfitted on his battlecruiser (listed below) upon Port Sorrow, decimating the land and sweeping away foes with it.

Following The Brotherhood of the Maw's invasion on Tython, Caelitus was slain at the hands of Rurik Fel Rurik Fel and finally, his suffering was brought to an end.

Resurrection-Class Battlecruiser “Prophet” - A monster of a battlecruiser commissioned by Darth Solipsis from The Maw's shipyards to usher the Dark Lord into the carnage in menacing style. While slow on its approach, it possesses near-full stealth capabilities, allowing The Mercurial Saint to ambush opposing fleets and disrupt their communications at his whim, only to unleash enough punishment to cripple a planet afterward. The ship serves a twofold purpose: combat and the housing of members of The Church of the Dark Side whilst expanding the Maw's influence across systems.
