  • GENERAL INFORMATION

Chris has been through it all—the kind of life that wears you down and sharpens you all at once. Wielding the grit of someone who’s had to keep moving, surviving, and adapting. When she was released from the protective cryogenic sleep after her wounds on Naboo, her awakening wasn't the first shock she’d ever faced. It was just another in a long line of hardships.

Even before regaining her memory, she was a rough and tumble sort given her propensity for taking the low road and fighting about it rather than using her words. It's never about proving whatever point she was trying to argue or even defend. In the end, it always comes back to being independent. After waking to yet another dramatic change in the galaxy, she settled her focus on just trying to manage once again while keeping herself at arms length from the trouble around her.

  • HISTORY
    The Breaking of Corellia

Waking in a medical transport, most guessed the young girl with head trauma wouldn't have made the trip to safety to be had on Stewjon. With no memories to be had, the staff tending to her struggled to address her before working with her to establish a name she was comfortable with using for the foreseeable future. Alone in a medical transport, she was cast adrift in the galaxy with nothing more than what was on her back in that moment.

Upon arriving at Stewjon, she was taken into a system that granted her opportunities to advance in life. Eight years of rehabilitation and schooling was met with no success in regaining what memories she had lost due to the Corellia Incident. While attending school, it was a severe note in her file that at best, she was a highly aggressive and problematic child. Often taking fights head on with those she deemed bullies. Most were much larger than the girl, but that did not give her pause.

Graduation was had proudly, though with a black eye and a healing split in her lip.

Deciding to look forward instead of wondering about the past, she forged ahead. Beginning at the ground level with no support, she struggled at first upon finishing school. Taking odd jobs that most did not want to bother with, she slowly began to garner a reputation of reliability, if sometimes confrontational about responsibilities that were placed upon her for a given price.

She became a skilled haggler through the process, and while not without fault, she was proud to be at least honest with her own self-value.

Eventually finding she had potential as a pilot, she aimed a bit higher than an odd-job worker forever, and looked to the local branch of Locke and Key Mechanics as her out. Beginning as a trainee pilot, it was noted in her reviews by trainers and superiors that her flight abilities surpassed what should have been capable of someone like her. Being mostly accounted for by lack of experience when pressed for clarification.

All the while she made herself invaluable as a heavy equipment operator moving materials and goods around the local dockyards. Further honing her environmental awareness. Though at times it felt like something more than mere comfort when operating machinery requiring finesse. A strange sense of connection to the machines she worked, though she had no one to ask about the sensation.

    The Benediction

Regaining her memories in an attack on Naboo that left the Confederacy in a dire state, Christina was placed in cryogenic sleep to undergo medical treatment for her wounds in the midst of the evacuation. The ship was lost due to the hasty nature of the evacuation and never made it to its destination. Not able to meet properly with her twin prior, leaving her grappling still with unanswered questions about why she was never found. Why she was never looked for, when she was so close to everyone that had mattered in her life. All of these questions and feeling as though she was something to be cast aside has left a rawness to her that makes her seem older—her eyes telling stories of surviving in a galaxy that hasn’t been kind. The skin on her hands is rough from constant use—gripping, climbing, working to provide for herself when no one else would.

A faded jacket is a constant companion—mended in places with different materials as each patch is a memento from the places she’s been, sometimes stitched together in haste, sometimes as a silent tribute to those she might have entirely lost along the way. She’s not one for frills or luxury; it’s about comfort, survival, and blending in with whatever environment she finds herself in next. She’s not one to back down from a fight, though. The rough edges are there for a reason: they’ve kept her alive as someone who’s lived through drastic and life-threatening change.

Despite wanting nothing more than a simple life, she has been made to learn the hard way that you trust no one, fight when you need to, and keep your guard up because the galaxy is as unforgiving as it is vast. But when she feels she can open up, even just a little, you can catch glimpses of the person she used to be—before everything got so tangled up in the mess of survival and feeling lost. She remembers kindness. She remembers home. She remembers love—before the galaxy and its chaos tore away those things.

  • APPEARANCE

Her dark brown hair is messy, either tangled in a haphazard braid or a quickly made ponytail, a sign of someone who’s been more concerned with practicality than looking pristine. Her clothes are practical, worn from years of use, with layers she can pull on or off depending on the heat of the planet she’s on or the cold of space.

Her face is sharp, with defined features that convey strength and determination. A strong jawline, high cheekbones, and a somewhat angular face that gives her a sense of ruggedness. Her eyes are intense and focused, hazel that shines with a bit more green in the right light. Often noted as having a gaze that reflects her confidence and resilience despite her situation.

She is athletic, fit, and strong despite her smaller size. Her body retains defined muscles, particularly in her arms, legs, and core, reflecting her active lifestyle and physical endurance doing heavy labor related jobs.

  • PERSONALITY

Chris is incredibly smart, with a deep passion for flying and mechanical work. Partly why she remained, even before regaining her memories, on Stewjon as the starship production facility of Matthew Locke. Her curiosity demands that she examine different technologies that she has not seen before, even if they are behind a security wall. Intending to feel and understand on a deeper level the designs of so many different tech pieces and vessels always leaves her with a deep sense of wonder and awe.

She is fiercely independent and often bucks against authority, which has led to her being shuffled more than a few times between different departments of a company to find someone that could work with her.

    STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

Scrappy Fighter: When she isn't spending her time at work, she is trying to find underground fighting rings to keep herself sharp. Definitely not to get some of her feelings out.
Innate Technopathy: Similar to Allyson, but varying with the need to physically touch the technology, Christina can manipulate tech beyond it's standard abilities while remaining in contact.

Untrusting: Being separated from family, and feeling abandoned atop that despite being in such close proximity, Christina holds very little trust in others.
Overly Persistent: Prayers are more likely to be answered than the expectation that this Locke will back down.
Fiercely Independent: Having made her way through life on her own for so long, she feels she does not need to work alongside others or even consider them when making plans. Leading to issues when she gets in over her head.
