  • Personality: R/S-01M 'Nuhaatyc' droids are programmed with the personality of traditional Mandalorian hunting animals. These animals are fiercely loyal to their handlers, as are the droids, though they occasionally exhibit 'playful' behavior as some animals do. They can be 'trained' out of such antics however if the user wishes to do so.

Data Sharing

The R/S-01MR can share all data via the 'Manda' battlenet or any other battlenet patched to function with the 'Manda' style data-sharing and processing, but it is also capable of sharing this data over comms back to its base station and systems connected to it or any system its operator syncs it to via compatible comns.

• Feed Sharing: The composite fused sensor feed can be shared via or to any of the sources mentioned above.
• Fire-support: Targeting, positional and other relevant data can be passed on for the purposes of calling artillery or close air support/orbital strikes and the like to any compatible system.
• Navigational Data: Navigational data including but not limited to multiple versions of planned routes, points of interest, targets, objectives and the like can be shared by the droid.

• Counter-Sniper: The system uses its audio pickups and EPR to try and locate a hidden marksman or a concealed support weapon position using the sound of the shot if any and also any emissions from smart optics and the like. Once a rough location has been triangulated, the system places a red square on the user's HUD in the general direction.
• Early Warning: If the system detects active sensor or scanner pings or targeting lasers coming from a bearing and range or position that doesn't have any friendly IFFs the system will indicate the direction with either a yellow or red arrow to warn the user depending on whether neutral or hostile signatures are detected.

DESCRIPTION

Due to a production manifest error, the R/S-01M droid was produced without the company's droid comm system, soft-kill systems or electric defense system that protects the droid from electric threats such as arc pulse generator weapons and force lightning. The MR version corrects this mistake and includes the missing systems. The new variant also includes an anti-aircraft loadout thanks to learning from combat experience during the assault on Dromund Kaas, though the company has not made this public information.

R/S-01M is a deep modernization of the company's 'Nuhaatyc' droid, updated with updated technologies cross the board to make the droid further capable of accomplishing its mission objectives. The new droid features a number of updated technologies including but not limited to new engines, a completely new detection, targeting and tracking suite, Reflec coating, the company's new missile systems, the guided rounds, the new reconnaissance droids and the new active protection system. The company hopes that these upgrades will both augment its own capabilities as well as increase the droid's attractiveness on the market.

The droid is equipped with powerful vehicle-grade Detection, Targeting and Tracking systems. Giving it decided capabilities when it comes to performing reconnaissance and supporting friendly forces. These capabilities allow the droid to potentially detect, tracking and engage threats long before they enter their own effective range. The droid an better leverage this capability via the inclusion of a 'Manda' tactical battlenet module, effectively allowing a force to extend their detection, targeting and tracking ange, as well as providing better force analysis of hostile forces. For its own part, the droid is hard to detect with advanced sound suppression and Reflec coating making it difficult tot detect via conventional means.
