SPECIAL FEATURES
- Cooling Systems: In order to prevent the large amounts of heat generated by the weapon from melting it, the AC-07 has an integrated cooling system that will shut the weapon down in the event of it overheating in order to perform a coolant flush and to allow the weapon to cool down. Most mounting platforms can carry enough coolant for five coolant flushes.

WEAKNESSES
- Extremely Limited Ammunition Capacity: Compared to equivalent blaster, laser and other heavy energy based weapons, the weapon does have a limited ammunition capacity.
- Feed System Damage: Should the feed system become damaged, then the weapon will only be able to fire the remaining ammunition in the feed from the undamaged portion and 'upward'. The weapon will not be able to loaded with new ammunition till the feed system is repaired.
- Vulnerable to EMP/Ion Damage: If the weapon actually sustains enough EMP/Ion damage, it's gravitic coils will be permanently damaged, requiring a complete replacement of the barrel.
- Cooling System Malfunction: Should the cooling system malfunction or become damaged, the launcher will shut down to prevent a critical operating failure.
- Power: The weapon requires a constant source of power to fire, and will not fire should the supply be interrupted or fluctuate.
DESCRIPTION
The AC-07 Verpine Shatter Autocannon was built to provide smaller company vehicles and droids powerful firepower that was both light and dependable. In particular, the weapon was designed for use on the company's Prudii'calyr-class Stealth Recon Speeder developed specifically for use by it's elite covert operations commandos, the Vuhyr'yaliyr Ramikade, given the near-silent operation of Verpine Shatter weapons.
The AC-07, being a Verpine Shatter weapon boasts a long range, and impressive accuracy, provided that it is paired with the right sensor and targeting package and with a capable operator. The AC-01's high rate of fire combined with it's extremely high damage potential per shot only allows it to put its range and accuracy to great use. All this in a package that is designed to be resilient to all manner of damage that the weapon might be expected to face in combat conditions.
Compared to equivalent energy weapons, the 100 round belt is decidedly limited. Should the aforementioned feed system become damaged, then the weapon will only be able to fire the remaining ammunition in the feed from the undamaged portion and 'upward'. Additionally, until the feed is repaired, the weapon will not be able to be reloaded. While well protected against EMP/Ion weapons, should it sustain any damage of that nature it's gravitic coils will fry, rendering the weapon useless and necessitating a complete replacement of the barrel. Likewise, the weapon will not fire should it's power supply be interrupted or fluctuate. Finally, should the cooling system malfunction or become damaged, the launcher will shut down to prevent a critical operating failure.
The weapon's short falls are a small price to pay for such a deadly weapon in a small package, giving small, light vehicles a deadly punch.
