  • Thrust Vectored Rocket-Repulsor Boot Functions: The thrusters integrated into the droid's feet offer limited flight and hover capabilities both in and outside of gravity. When used as apart of an armor system, they can enhance the flight functionality of any connected flight system, provided the control software is compatible. Software patches are available for any such systems manufactured by VisTech LLC, Locke and Key or Breshig War Forge Consolidated.
    • Stabilized Flight: Flight pattern, thrust output and gyrostabilizers aid the flight computer in keeping the wearer from spinning out of control, correcting with the repulsor if necessary. Careless flight will result in a diminished stealth profile.
    • Range (rocket thrusters): 10 charges
    • Maneuverability (rocket thrusters): 50 meters horizontally (1 charge), 35 meters vertically (1 charge)
  • Repulsor Boot functions: The boots employ repulsorlift fields to allow the droid to move at planes 45-180 degrees opposite normal gravity at an altitude of up to 150 meters. These fields can be reversed to hold the droid in place in the face of environmental hazards or offensive force powers such as force push, alternatively, it can also allow the droid to scale sheer surfaces. The boots allow the droid to walk across any surface they might be adhered to by alternating which boot is active according to the droid walking pattern which the boot ascertains either via connected armor link or via a network of microsensors in the boot itself. The repulsors can also function in the same manner as jump servos.
  • Repulsor Skate functions: The droid's feet can function precisely like repulsor skates, allowing the droid to attain truly remarkable velocities on just forward repulsor thrust alone. Using the rocket thrusters allows the droid to attain even higher velocities, but naturally uses the fuel that could be used for enhancing flight capabilities.
  • Magnetic-Tractor Feature: The magnetic tractor feature allows a droid to adhere or pull themselves toward a surface. The boots allow the droid to walk across any surface they might be adhered to by alternating which boot is active according to the droid's walking pattern which the boot ascertains either via connected armor link or via a network of microsensors in the boot itself.

For example, one of these droids would leave a disarmed soldier that was no longer a threat alone, but would still execute a wounded soldier still capable of being a threat.

WEAKNESSES

• Shield or Field Disruptor: Either the droid's shield or field disruptor can be active, not both. When gaining access to locations protected by shields, the droid becomes that much more vulnerable to Incoming fire.
• EMP/Ion: Should any EMP/Ion damage manage to bypass the droid's considerable defenses, it is likely to cause significant and lasting damage to more than a few systems and subsystems.
• Devastating Overload: Should the reactor overload and meltdown, the resulting explosion would be nothing short of devastating, completely and utterly annihilating the droid and potentially what's around it.
• I Don't Work For Idiots: These droids are sentient and instilled with Mandalorian values. They won't take orders from those they see as prone to making costly mistakes, or a tendency to micromanage unnecessarily. They're only loyal to those that display any kind of leadership capabilities.

The modernization project the company launched included a new active protection system, new comms a new lighter ultramesh frame, electric defense systems, an improved software package and a refreshed version of the older droid brain, bringing a marked improvement in the droid's capabilities. These changes were rolled into a new model of droid based on the
NS/SD-01 'Gar Nayaor Verd' Network Security/Slicer Droid.

Skilled slicers are rare. Mandalorian slicers, rarer still. While absolutely paying inordinate sums to those Mandalorians and outsiders that'd work for them, Strill Securities still had a shortage of skilled combat capable slicers. Strill Securities and Breshig War Forge Consolidated went to work on a droid that could fill the gap.

'Gar Gayi'kartay Verd' droids were developed as part of a force wide modernization, where potential weak links in the Strill Securities fleet and ground force table of organization and equipment were replaced with newer models.

Every 'Gar Gayi'kartay Verd' droid is combat trained by Strill Securities' expert combat instructors in addition to possessing extensive combat programming and adaptive combat protocols. making for a near perfect combination of natural ability, skill and training. Thanks to the Gar Agol CNT muscle fibre system, the 'Gar Gayi'kartay Verd' droid is agile and dexterous as well as as extremely strong. The droid can move with startling grace and speed for something its size. More than capable of putting its considerable combat training and programming to good use. The droid's heavy plating combined with a powerful shield generator allow it to put it's considerable combat capabilities into giving just as hard as it gets, which when combined with it's considerable specialist skills in network security allow it to be a true asset that can more than pull its weight.

Because of these droid's sentience and intelligence, the company doesn't sell the droids themselves, rather they put out year long contracts, after which it is the droid's choice whether they renew the contract. This does cause some problems, however. Due to their high intellect and sentience, Gar Nayaor Verd droids won't take orders from those they see as prone to making costly mistakes, or a tendency to micromanage unnecessarily. They're only loyal to those that display any kind of leadership capabilities. Those buying combat droids of this caliber, however, usually won't have a problem in this regard.

That said, droids are still droids, and despite the measures taken to protect the 'Gar Gayi'kartay Verd' against EMP/Ion damage, a powerful enough weapon will still fry this droid like a protato in a deep-fat fryer. Likewise, the composite plate and it's underlying linings and frame, like many substances in the galaxy, are weak to disruptor weapons.
