- Each of the BHK-01 joints can be rotated 360°, including the torso, head, and legs. Their hands and feet also include magnetized surfaces to lock lightsabers and other objects within, its strong enough to pull lightsabers to their hands as well.
- The highly advanced droid brain of each BHK-01 has been programmed for adaptive learning, meaning that each battle droid learns during combat and can apply that knowledge, much in the way than an organic soldier accumulates experience.
- By default, each BHK-01 is constructed without specific gender programming, almost always referred by engineers and soldiers as 'it'. However, in part of the BHK-01's machine learning, they will often assume gender-specific pronouns of their own volition. These machines are deliberately designed with sadistic, malevolent personalities.
- Consequently, all BHK-01 models are equipped with an inhibitor module that ensures that a BHK-01 can never develop treasonous calculations, keeping them firmly loyal to the Kainate and to the Blackblade Guard. These inhibitor modules are also equipped with an override specifically tied to
Darth Carnifex and Darth Prazutis ensuring it will always, immediately obey any commands given to it by its dark masters.
- A secondary droid brain exists within the BHK-01's chest chassis, which only comes online in the event of the primary brain's destruction. The primary brain is located in the BHK-01's head module. Information accumulated by the primary brain is automatically stored on the secondary brain.
- All BHK-01's contain an expansive databank of Jedi, Sith, Nightsister, and various other force cultures. They are functionally equipped with extensive data stores that allow it to analyze any lightsaber style, force technique used against it. They are masters of the saber forms.

- Interchangeable Weaponry
- Nearly Impervious To Small-Arms Fire, Lightsabers, and Force Attacks
- Cloaking Device
- Machine Learning Droid Brain
- Advanced Jedi, Sith, and Force Culture Databanks

- Big Target
- Armor Breached By Heavier Weapons
- Weak to Disruptors, Sonic, Magnetism, and Radiation
- Cloaking Device Unusable During Combat
- Unable To Use The Force

As conflict continued to escalate across the galaxy and its growing list of enemies expanding to include both Jedi and Sith, the Kainate began to look at expanding the arsenal of its greatest killers, the Blackblade Guard. To this end the Kainate Artificer's Guild and Shadow Mind were brought in. The BHK-01 was envisioned as a highly advanced, agile, killing machine designed to directly counter the abilities of force users, as well as efficently hunt and kill or capture them.
To this end the BHK-01 was created partially through the highly successful KNT-044 Battle Droids, and the ancient Droid General Grievous. It was designed with a highly advanced Laser-Reflective Hexalloy-Impervium chassis, treated multiple times to protect it against energy and kinetic based attacks. But in a day and age where lightsabers are incredibly common it was instead combined with Impervium where the KNT-044's utilized Duranium. The Hexalloy was sourced from external sellers, often through an extensive web of third parties and fronts. The Impervium was directly mined from various planets and asteroids that were rich in the material, and processed. After a series of strenuous tests that subject the alloy to many extreme conditions, it was determined to be effective but lacking. An endoskeleton of Tal'Beskar was implemented to ensure enhanced durability, high resistance to various attack methods and lightsaber strikes, including a measure of resistance against the force. This alloy was directly taken from the expansive resources of the Kainate from the genocides of Mandalore. It was further completed with a core of voidstone that ensured it was extremely resistant to the force. The final product was deemed exceptionally resilient and the approval of chassis parts was authorized by the Artificer's Guild, and Director-General Arkoh Grevane of the Blackblade Guard, leading to the swift manufacturing of BHK-01 parts. Internal components, such as servos, were cut through with insulating wiring and conductive sinks.
While manufacturing and assembling the BHK-01 was one thing, programming the droid brain was an entirely differen subject. This fell to Shadow Mind, the Kainate's science wing that handled research and programming. The droid was designed to function alongside the Blackblade Guard, the greatest inhuman butchers in the galaxy and infamous Jedi and Mandalorian killers. There were certan specifications needed. Under the careful supervision of Director Saryn Naberrie, Shadow Mind developed a highly sophisticated program matrix that could be mass replicated and installed on every BHK-01 model produced and in production, based off the one previously installed on KNT-044. It was then given over to Director-General Arkoh Grevane for his own modifications to fit the needs of the Blackblade Guard.
What separates the BHK-01 from the KNT-044 was the highly extensive databanks installed within its core. It was designed with a vast database of Jedi, Sith, and various other Force Cultures. The core gave it expansive stores of data that included every lightsaber form, and knowledge of force powers. This allowed its advanced droid brain to dig into the psychological profiles of its opponents, analyze the abilities being used against it, and swiftly move to counter it. It could fight utilizing all the various lightsaber forms and was designed to be a force users' worst nightmare due to its high resilience. They were similarly equipped with a full arsenal of weaponry to utilize as needed in the apprehension or elimination of its targets. Chief among these were the flexible, long barbed tail that was poisoned with a paralytic, agonizing toxin. It was topped with an arc caster to fire at targets, and the droid could similarly wrap the tail around things to pull itself around, or things to it.
These droids were given malevolent, sadistic personality matrices that would blend well with the inhuman butchers of the Blackblade Guard. They were not pleasant to be around and often disturbing in its obsessive desire to hunt and kill force users. A final demonstration was given to Highlord Osbasid who approved the Blackblade Hunter-Killer 01 Battle Droid for service. The droid was finally given it's informal name in Ur-Kittât of 'Siqsashûk' or 'Demon Killer'.
