The official schedule of Adhira Chandra did not appear to be letting up any time soon. Between the careful negotiation with the Intergalactic Banking Clan and her economic summit on Eclipse, she had effectively exhausted her desire to sit at another conference table while everyone around her measured their... Well, in any case, when she accepted Chancellor Tagge's request to help facilitate a meeting between the Alliance and the key representative of Primo Victorian Shipwright, she did so on the condition she could do it on her terms. "These executives sit at conference tables all day, Chancellor, it's the last thing they want to do in their free time. They want to be shown their presence is appreciated. They want to enjoy themselves. Trust me."
So, she did what any good diplomat would do: organized a lavish dinner party at her country estate on Balmorra. The massive dining room overlooking the Western Sea of Balmorra was a sight to behold with glittering chandeliers and a table covered in some of the galaxy's most prized delicacies. Featured prominently was an almost full-size cut of hawk-bat complete with a hawk-bat head for garnish. The dozen or so chairs would be filled with the who's who of the planet including the Governor and several executives of the world (and the Alliance's) most prominent executives. Adhira would showcase the might of Balmorran industry, juxtaposed perfectly with a look at the Alliance's deep gratitude for Primo Victorian considering Balmorra as their new home.
At the head of the table, notably arranged in such a way as to allow for a measure of privacy, a number of chairs remained empty for Adhira herself, the Alliance representatives, and of course, their guest of honor, Ryssa Yvarro. While the dinner party guests chatted excitedly with each other to the tune of elegant string instruments, the Balmorran senator made her way upstairs from the dining room to receive her guests. She'd sent one of the most expensive yachts in the Chandra Independent Holding's fleet to collect them from the Bin Prime spaceport. Adhira was looking forward to this. For one of the first times since being elected, she felt very in her element. This was evident in the way she carried herself in the flowing black and gold embellished gown, the swagger in her gait, the confidence in her eyes.
"Senator Chandra, they've arrived."

Dinner parties had been the delight of many Galidraani social events. Ryssa suspected this would be no different, although she supposed the difference here was that she needn't be scandalized for her choice in dress. It was a rather nice change of pace, and a welcomed break from the chaos surrounding not only the new Violet Curtain as the REC's report mentioned but from the recent upheaval within Primo Victorian itself. Her mother had been ousted and she put in her stead as the Chief Executive Officer. Evacuating and relocating their personnel topped all of Ryssa's priorities which brought her here to Balmorra.
Balmorra a notable factory world, but beyond that, it had been one of the Sith Empire's victims during the fall of the Free Worlds Coalition. A friend of the family and member of the Sith Empire rushed to evacuate their family before the might of the Sith Empire crushed Balmorra beneath its boot. Thankfully, Balmorra had since recovered and if this Adhira Chandra was of any indication it was heading back in the right direction. Ryssa arrived at the factory world without incident and had been greeted by Ms. Chandra's party.
"This is supposed to be a rather lavish party." Mr. Kesby remarked as he looked over at Ryssa.
Ryssa sent a knowing look his way, "I'm aware."
"Then perhaps you'd like to rest your posture." It was more than a suggestion. Ryssa sighed and relaxed, although Mr. Kesby could tell she was merely appeasing him. "It's not every day that our company is invited into a Governor's home."
"I'd remind you that this is merely a courtesy, a formality no matter how well dressed it may be." She pointed out as she watched their approach to the palace. "Well, she seems as opulent as any of the First Order."
"Was that an insult or a compliment?" Mr. Kesby inquired as he leaned over to take in the sight.
"I'll let you know when this is over," Ryssa answered him plainly.
Uehq.gif
In the past, the First Order had a way of throwing its weight, one of them was through lavish parties and opulent balls that could be seen as either obscene, boastful, or outright marvelous and sometimes they could be all of the above. Ryssa would know having grown up in the shadow of such an Empire strongly modeled on old Galidraani systems. "Well whatever your decision, put a smile on, chin up, and pretend to be happy," Mr. Kesby ordered matter-of-factly, "it's showtime Ms. Yvarro." A stark reminder that while she may be the new boss of the company she could just as easily be ousted.
Ryssa arrived at the governor's estate with a smile, Mr. Kesby beamed all the same as they were brought toward the doors. The game would now be afoot and the results of the game would play out in the end, one way or another, assuredly.

The Galaxy was changing. Quickly, it seemed.

As the Core found some stability for the first time in decades, the Rims were becoming more turbulent and unpredictable. To the north-east, rebellion was boiling to a full-scale war against the Sith Empire; one the Alliance was keen to aid. Meanwhile, brutish hordes of genocidal beasts had begun to ravage the fringe systems of Concordia. To make matters more interesting, as things fell into chaos the Confederacy had chosen to close its borders and turn its focus within. Confederacy First, they'd called it. Charming.

In truth, the Anaxsi understood the desire. He'd even consider doing the same in their shoes. But it wasn't the concept that had rubbed him the wrong way, more the pretentiousness nature of it. As far as Cassius was concerned, the Confederacy had grossly overvalued itself on the modern political stage. Sure, they had made themselves
selfless protectors in the past, but that inspiring image had long faded in his mind. In the present, especially after such a declaration, they felt like more of an inconvenience than anything.

The Alliance had been lucky. Shortly after reformation, the administration had been quick to
focus the nation's trade to territories under the protection of their allies, the Silver Jedi. The two factions worked to reroute their primary markets across eastern routes that they were able to better control. This had limited the impact of the Confederacy First doctrine on their economy, but it hadn't made them immune. In order to minimize risk and eliminate a dependency on Confederate-blocked trade along the Corellian Trade Spin, the Alliance was quick to respond with a planned course of action, bringing together reputable corporate investors and uniting both Concordia and the Outer Planets Alliance in an initiative to chart a new hyperlane; one that would bypass the Confederate space altogether.

Despite everything happening around them, the Core was slowly beginning to heal.

Cassius had been surprised to learn that Primo Victorian was planning to move their operations to greener fields. Of course, this quickly changed to intrigue when he'd been advised that Balmorra was on the table for their new headquarters. More ships for the Defense Force's navy certainly wouldn't hurt in such uncertain times. Hoping to oversee the meeting and act as a voice for the servicemen who'd put the products to use, the High Admiral of the Azure Sector group made sure to make himself available.

kwzlsmL.png

Before stepping into senator's luxurious foothill estate, Cassius is sure to dismiss the small compliment of Alliance Marines who'd accompanied him aboard his shuttle. Stepping in to the main hall his eyes quickly find Ryssa, clearly having arrived only moments before him.

"Ms. Yvarro, I presume?" he offers her a slight bow of his head on his approach. "I'm happy to see I'm not the only one keen to punctuality," a smile cracks across his face before he breaks his gaze to eye the room they'd found themselves in, taking a moment to appreciate the collections of artwork and decorations, "and it would seem our host has fine taste as well."

Parties and balls were not where Lisza enjoyed being. At one point she had thought that most politicians only did it because it was a social requirement. That was what she had been raised to believe in the Starseeker household and what her experience in the world of business and politics had been. That was, until she had seen her younger sister, Purina Starseeker, in the throws of a party she herself had been hosting back on Corellia. After Lisza had begun working in public office she handed the company over, with the board and her family's blessing of course, to her younger sister who had fallen into the role swimmingly. Despite Starbound Industries not being one of the larger brands on Corellia, her husband was a war hero and also the current Diktat of Corellia which made her one of the most powerful women in the Corellian Sector and so the conversation leading to this party went a little something like this:

"You're coming to this party with me Lisza. Its been forever since the two of us went out together!"

And so they were here. Invited to Balmorran Senator Adhira Chandra's private home where movers and shakers from across the Alliance were. She'd even spotted High Admiral Callaesar in the crowd. The Darksabers accompanying Purina were left at the shuttle, but her smaller CSB security detail blended right in to the crowd, keeping a close eye on the pair. Even though she hadn't asked or been told, she suspected that there was some sort of Alliance security officers blending in as well to keep an eye on her as well.

She felt a tug at her arm as her younger sister clung to it with one arm while she tipped back a flute of some expensive beverage in the other. With a wink she did her little happy shoulder gig before making a satisfied sound and offered her big sister a smile.

"Oh come now Lisza, at least pretend you're having fun with your baby sister." Lisza attempted a smile, but she really didn't enjoy these.

"Don't let an old nag like me slow you down Puri, you go do your thing. I think I see someone I know." Puri gave a sad look but then happily scampered off to mingle with the rest of the crowd.

The elder statesman watched carefully as her most prominent guests finally arrived. A hand reflexively went to the glittering onyx necklace that adorned her dĂ©collete and adjusted one of the gems before she stepped forward to greet them. "Miss Yvarro a pleasure to see you again, and may I say you look absolutely ravishing," she beamed, holding her arms out in welcome before giving a respectful incline of her head to the man accompanying her, "and High Admiral Callaesar. Your bravery on Vulpter was nothing short of heroic and I want to personally thank you for your service to the Alliance." Her job was to make people feel important and she reveled in the futility of small talk.
"Shall w-" Adhira stopped mid-sentence as, over Ryssa's shoulder, she noticed the presence of the Vice Chancellor of the Alliance, Raona Cadera Raona Cadera . One of her advisors handled the minutiae of verifying the attendance of guests so her presence was surprising albeit not unorthodox. "Madame Vice Chair," she called to the quarth, beckoning her over, "when the Chancellor's office told me they were sending a representative I had no idea we would be graced with your presence. Had I known I wouldn't have worn this old thing." Adhira motioned to her gown and let out a breathy laugh.
"Ryssa, might I introduce you to Lisza Starseeker, Vice Chancellor of the Galactic Alliance. Madame, this is Ryssa Yvarro of Primo Victorian Shipwright... who has expressed interest in relocating her assets to Balmorra... and I believe you and the High Admiral have probably already met."
"Shall we join the others?" Adhira lifted up her train and escorted her guests into the dining room. The assemblage began to settle in their chairs as their host took up the high seat at the front of the room where three other chairs had been set aside for Ryssa, Cassius, and Lisza. She gingerly lifted a crystal class into the air and tapped the side with a fork to call the attention of the room. "Ladies and gentlemen, before we all dig in I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your attendance. You represent the backbone of our great Alliance, titans of industry, ambassadors of peace, champions of democracy. The continued stability of this great republic relies entirely on the efforts of its citizens and to you I say, thank you." She paused for a brief, but enthusiastic applause.
"To that end, I want to toast our guest of honor: Ryssa Yvarro of Primo Victorian Shipwright, currently one of the most prominent shipbuilders in the galaxy and a great friend of the values that we all espouse. It is my hope that we will be seeing more of her on Balmorra in the future... well, if we play our cards right." Polite laughter rippled along with the table. "To a prosperous future!" The room joined her in raising their stemware and after a quick sip of the bubbly brew, she lowered herself into the seat.
"So, tell me, Miss Yvarro, what exactly is Primo Victorian looking for in a new headquarters?"

"Thank you, and might I say this dress is absolutely astonishing," Ryssa complimented the Governor in kind. "High Admiral Callaesar," she gave a nod of respect and acknowledgment. While she didn't have experience in the military first hand, Ryssa was the daughter of a navy woman herself. "Indeed, those who risk their lives for the sake of others, indeed the heroes this galaxy are in short supply." Polite and kind words meant for the High Admiral, before she could say much of anything else she was promptly introduced to the Vice-Chancellor. Poor Mr. Kesby did his best to keep up he made notes on his small hand-written notebook of who was who.
Quickly they were taken to meet with the others, and as the Governor lifted her train. Attention was called to the room where once more, it was mentioned that Primo Victorian would be relocating their headquarters. Whether it had been Mr. Kesby's alarmed posture or the pointed look he gave Ryssa. Politely she whispered into the ear of the Governor, "we are not looking to relocate our headquarters, ma'am, with all due respect we are quite happy on Galidraan." She cleared her throat and gave a sincere smile and nod toward the crowd. "Truly we are honored to be here, and we certainly hope to get the most out of the evening." Ryssa did not mention the embarrassment that had clearly been a miscommunication.
Ryssa turned to Mr. Kesby and quietly stated through her teeth, "please identify who sent the information, and politely inform them that they are no longer under our employ."
"Right away, Miss Yvarro." Mr. Kesby turned slightly toward the governor and gave a respectful look, and followed it up with a somber tone, "terribly sorry about the misunderstanding if you'll excuse me."

The Admiral's postures straightens and his expression warms at the praise offered by the two, but he raises a hand dismissively, "Please, I simply serve the interests Alliance. Ensuring Senator Kiyoshi's well-being was of critical importance. Corellian cooperation was vital to ensure the Republic's merge into our government went without complications." He looks to the Vice Chair with a smile before shifting back between the other two, "but I am humbled by your comments."

As the group began to move, Cassius falls in line with their honoured guest. He glances to her from the corner of his eye as the walk, "This Confederacy First business is a pity, isn't it?" His words are spoken softly, clearly intended for Ms. Yvarro alone "But I'm quite delighted by this opportunity that it's presented. While there are a few matters I'd be keen to discuss before any deal is said and done, I'd be pleased to see your fine starships and armaments at the disposal of the Defense Force."

He snickers, "Especially with how things have been as of late."

Taking his seat at table, the Tepasi's vibrant blue eyes can't help but eye the numerous dishes that had been prepared with anticipation. He'd eaten well not long ago at the Unity Day feasts, but any opportunity for a lavish meal was welcomed to a nobleborn Anaxsi. His focus is drawn by the ringing of metal against crystal, clearing the hall of noise for the Senator's brief speech. The Admiral lifts his own glass to toast prosperity, then quickly and seamlessly moves to his lips.

"It is no matter," Cassius affirms with a shrug as he lowers his glass "a simple misunderstanding, it seems. Whether it is your headquarters or simply some off your operations, I'm sure it would be met with great enthusiasm."

She'd been swallowed whole by the little social group made up of the High Admiral, Madame Yvarro, and Senator Chandra. She smiled and gave an uninteresting but sincere greeting but she couldn't help but remember the vessels her company made floating over Corellia during the Sith Imperial Bloc occupation. She was an arms dealer, and part of working in politics, and the Galaxy as a whole, was remembering that not everybody had the people's best interest in mind. Most were just out for themselves and to line their pockets regardless of the costs. It was naive to think the Alliance wouldn't work with people such as her and their location on Galidran was proof enough for her that they were fine with whatever the Sith had in store for the Galaxy.

But who said the Alliance couldn't use the same technology against them? Though he wondered how long it would be before the Sith clamped down on operations there and forced them to move. She'd heard the Sith weren't forgiving of traitors. But the High Admiral was talking about something else worrying in the Galaxy and that broke the stare she didn't realize she'd been holding on the younger woman.

"I wouldn't mind a look at Primo Victorian as well," she added, bringing the conversation back to something she had at least conversational knowledge about, ships. "As long as we don't have to go to Galidran." she joked.

The Governor of Balmorra had found his seat next to her placing Adhira firmly between Ryssa and him. Unfortunately for him, she had happened to be looking in his direction when Yvarro made clear that her company was not actually moving its entire headquarters to their planet. The look she gave him must have been very intense as he immediately looked away and pretended he had not overheard the embarrassing exchange. Apparently, there had been some miscommunication somewhere between Coruscant and her attache. Luckily, her diplomatic training allowed her to master herself rather quickly and she laughed off the moment. "Oh I see, simple misunderstanding, Ms. Yvarro, I think you will find that Balmorra is a haven of industry within the Alliance and we will be happy to accommodate whatever needs you have," her kind smile melted as she turned away from Ryssa and back to the white-haired man on her left, "isn't that right, Governor?"
"Oh I- uh- quite... quite right Senator, Balmorra is-"
"So, tell me how many of your assets are you hoping to move?" She said conversationally as she searched the room for her Chief of Staff who was wondering the room supervising. Someone's head would roll. "You have quite an assemblage of factories as I understand it... my family also owns quite a large shipwright based here on Balmorra, albeit not nearly as large as Primo Victorian. Historically we constructed fighters, but these days we focus almost entirely on luxury and leisure vessels." It was sort of a private skill of Adhira's to prattle on endlessly in autopilot while her brain accomplished other tasks. Like right now, she was staring down a very proper looking human female in black who looks terrified to approach. The woman gingerly made her way over to the Senator's side like she was navigating a minefield and waited patiently for Adhira to wrap up the current conversation.
On the table, Adhira's jeweled pointer finger was tapping rhythmically.

"Political allegiances aside, I wonder Vice-Chancellor what is so terrible about my homeworld that you should dread to visit it?" Ryssa gave the Vice-Chancellor a smile, she was starting to understand just why exactly her family viewed members of the Alliance in such... Wonderful colors, as she left the poorly made joke alone, and focused on the Senator. Truly, the dinner so far however lavish was turning out to be quite a waste of time. Ryssa looked over at Mr. Kesby who returned to his seat and leaned over to speak with Ryssa. "We do have facilities from Gall, our naval supply depot and manufacturing plant, but before we do any signing of contracts. I would like to see the real estate in question." Ryssa couldn't help but wonder why it would be so terrible to visit her mother's homeworld.
Galidraan had been afforded a rather prosperous position within the Sith Empire, even without it. The planet benefited from having been the homeworld of the late Grand Moff and would be the continued beneficiary of at the very least Primo Victorian's generosity. "Additionally, and perhaps Vice-Chancellor, you may be of assistance," Ryssa shifted her gaze, "we're seeking to relocate a research facility as well. I am hoping to make the transition smooth, but we've not been able to properly find a place within the Alliance for such." Galidraan and Primo Victoria were practically synonymous at this point.
Mr. Kesby cleared his throat and Ryssa gave him a pointed look. The talk of looking at Primo Victorian's technologies had been mentioned but Ryssa was weary on actually allowing the Alliance access, but for two reasons. The first of which was the dramatic differences in philosophies. Imperial designs did not often sit well with nations boasting Alliance or Republic origins. Secondly, the company was a rather private organization and could afford to pick and choose. Simply offering a piece of land for relocation would not qualify as a key to the company's storehouse. If that had been the case, then the Silver Jedi, the Confederacy, and the Mandalorian Empire of old would have benefited almost immediately. "As far as the topic of Primo Victorian's wares, I would ask that that be a discussion for another time." It would require a lot more than a lavish dinner party.

"That political allegiance, as you so quaintly put it, would have our vessel and escort shot right out of the stars and lock down your system for treason. I'm sure its a beautiful place, its just not a place the Alliance is willing to risk casual visits." She spoke frankly and matter of factly, her joking smile from earlier gone. "I'm honestly surprised the Sith Empire hasn't shut you down outright for even speaking with us, what with the Civil War and all." If this went on any longer the mood would be sourer than spoiled Bantha Milk, so she decided to shift from that line and let that particular conversation die.

"I would be happy to discuss the kind of research you're wishing to explore. We do have different laws and regulations here compared to what you may be used to in the Empire." It honestly made her mouth sour talking to a Sith Imperial like they were potential business partners. She desperately wished one of her companions would take the reigns. She shot Cassius a look that said as much.

Adhira could feel a slight tension in the room between the businesswoman and the Vice-Chancellor as their conversation continued. She had hoped her esteemed guests were tagging along to solidify new assets being front into the Alliance, but even now it seemed the galaxy was too small. The Senator silently communicated with the Governor of Balmorra and suddenly a crystal glass of reddish liquid cascaded down the table and into her own lap
"Oh my!" Adhira stood to assess the damage but found herself laughing just as quickly bout the little faux pax, "Goodness, it's gone everywhere. Well no matter, I keep a great number of spares for occasions like this." She beamed out at her assembled guests who stopped to get a better look. "My apologies, what can you do? Cheap crystal? Please proceed with your dinner and I will return momentarily.Adhira looked around to her discontent that many of her escorts seemed to have taken a break during dinner. She looked back at the table helplessly.
"Ms. Ryssa Yvarro would you be so kind as to come with me to the upstairs parlor lest I make another fool of myself?" Adhira knew she couldn't leave such a lucrative partnership at the mercies of her guests. This was going to require two grown-ups talking brass tax and that wasn't made for public view

Cassius' eyes wander to the Senator as the Vice Chair speaks. Even with no change in his expression, one would tell he had concerns over the rising tension. In truth, the High Admiral did not find himself particularly excited over the news that their headquarters would remain in the Sith Empire. If there was the chance that a percentage of the company's profits could make their way back to fund the Sith-Imperial machine, the Ministry of Commerce could deny them the ability to operate within the Alliance's territory. Especially now, in a time of open war.

When the subject shifts to the opinions of the Sith-Imperials, Cassius' lips tighten and his brow furrows slightly. He'd only recently returned from JanFathal, where he'd helped coordinate the New Imperial offensive through their western borders. With the Anaxsi needed back home to deal with the ongoing incident in the Brentaal system, High Admiral Pryce had been sent to replace him and lead their naval forces along the Braxant Run. Knowing brave men and women of the Alliance were dying as they sat here, even the mention of the Sith Empire soured his mood.

Adhira's sudden exclamation pulls him from his thoughts. He shuffles in his seat to stand and help before quickly realizing that she had only spilled her drink. Settling back into his seat, he looks between the Balmorran and their guest without saying a word.

Mr. Kesby looked between the Vice-Chancellor and Ryssa. He had hoped that this could help Primo Victorian expand their horizons beyond Imperial borders. It seemed any hopes of that were dashed, "while I have no doubt that if an Alliance vessel strayed into Sith-Imperial space, a rather unfortunate tragedy would unfold. If I were to have guests on Galidraan, those guests would need not fear the Sith Empire. I am also not punished for conducting business with potential partners." Privilege spoke wonders, most especially in the Empire where her family's position afforded her such luxuries. Admittedly, Ryssa knew this could not be said of all others.
"I would also appreciate if I were not talked down to, Vice-Chancellor." Ryssa politely set her napkin down and was about to announce a fast departure. While Ryssa had never been a large fan of Imperials vs Republic vs Alliance or Confederates. She was starting to feel these associations ever more present. Raised between the One Sith, and the First Order and coming into her own during the current Sith Empire's reign. The Galidraani was starting to understand her late cousin more and more as the minutes passed.
It was the Senator's exclamations that drew Ryssa's attention before she could make such an announcement. "Oh, of course," and any thoughts of the former situation seemed to have dwindled, sailing to the back of her mind. "Mr. Kesby," Ryssa turned to the man who had put her into this whole mess to start with. "I trust you'll be alright here?"
"Yes, yes of course." He reassured her, he gave the Vice-Chancellor and the High Admiral a nod of respect. He waited until Ryssa and the Senator had faded from view. "Well, if either of you, have any questions regarding the company or Galidraan. I will be more than happy to answer them, alternatively, if there are any reassurances I may provide, I am more than capable of doing that as well."

//Adira's Private Parlor//
Adhira was less than impressed with the Chancellor's delegate to the dinner. The assignment was to convince Primo Victorian to move their factories not bicker about old schoolyard crushes. The vanity of youth. She snarled quietly as she led Ryssa up an almost hidden back staircase to a parlor. You could still faintly hear the party below, but there was a stillness to this room and it smells strongly of rosewater. Low chars lined the rooms as it had frequently hosted quiet events. "Please., make yourself at home, I'll only be a moment."
The Senator opened a small curved door that seemed to connect the closet of the wider house as she disappeared, swallowed by silken gowns. "I must apologize for the Vice Chancellor's behavior downstairs," Adhira managed to project her voice as she pulled on a new gown. One could hear the rustle of fabric as Adhira soldiered on. "She means well... I think, but you know how Corellians can be," She ran a quick brush through her hair, checked her jewelry and reemerged from the closet area in deep purple robes.
"You can I have a much clearer understanding of the economy, the difficult choices you have to make, and how crucial they can to the future of our companies," she smiled, sitting down next to the businesswoman, "we know the value of money. And right now, Balmorra is a gold mine."

Quickly and quietly she followed the Senator up toward her private parlor. Admittedly this was not an event that Ryssa had foreseen for herself when she arrived earlier that evening. The sounds of the dinner party faded away and a stillness took its place, a welcomed one at that, or at least that's what Ryssa welcomed. "Certainly," she obliged and found a seat in which to occupy while she waited. With some interest, she watched as the Senator opened a small curved door to what appeared to be a closet.
"Ah, well, I do know a Corellian or two," namely Taeli Raaf Taeli Raaf and by some extension Kurayami Bloodborn Kurayami Bloodborn , "they are a rather strange lot at times." She smiled on the thought but quickly turned her attention to the Senator who emerged in dark purple robes. "I have to compliment you again, this looks amazing, going to have to talk to my dressmaker at this rate." Ryssa did enjoy good clothing, and fabulous fashion when she could. Ryssa watched as the Senator crossed the room and took a seat beside her.
She nodded with understanding, "indeed." Thus far the Senator made the most sense this evening. "Balmorra is most certainly a gold mine, ripe with real estate, coupled with an eager workforce." Ryssa took a moment to gather her thoughts, "Balmorra is also a lot closer to many of our already existing operations within the galaxy. Which gives your system an edge over any other, and it is why I wish to relocate the naval supply depot and shipyards that Primo Victorian operated on Gall within Confederacy space, here."
"My company has worked with many governments in the past, the former First Order, Outer Rim Coalition now Outer Planets Alliance, the Silver Jedi Order and at one time we worked with the now-defunct Mandalorian Empire. We are more than willing to work within the new Galactic Alliances codes and laws." Primo Victorian was not a stranger to Galactic Alliances, having worked with the previous incarnation in the years prior. "Now, tell me, Senator Chandra what can we do to secure a place here on Balmorra that would enable us to operate our depot and shipyard."

Typically Adhira's most striking feature in the Senator or in public was the way it was always so tightly bound or intricately braided, like crowns of authority she could change whenever she wanted. The simple purple robes and loose locks of brown hair were indicated of something different than social status. She Ryssa was as prepared as Adhira to get down to final details.
As Adhira listened she reached for a crystal vial and poured a single glass, "care for a tip?" Adhira poured the glass anyone if Ryssa didn't drink if she almost certainly would later.
"The Alliance is one of the fasted growing collections of free peoples in the Galaxy, Ms. Yvarro, everyone can see that. It's why they're flocking to us," she said matter of factly, taking a deep drink." "But Primo Victorian isn't just finding a safe haven for business, somewhere it stands to make a great deal of profit. Every business deal is a partnership."
The older woman stood and crossed to one of the large almost panoramic windows and stared out the ruddy Balmorran sea. "It equally serves the Alliance for us to show the rest of the galaxy we can rebuild we can be a safe haven for industry again without the fear of tyranny or nationalist policies."
"And were you to consider help with a little Alliance engineering product here or there, I'm sure you would be paid... very generously. Should the need arise." It wasn't necessarily Adhira's first thought, but when the opportunity is there?

Ryssa declined the Senator's offer a drink, "I'll take the tip, but pass on the drink." Balance only knew that drinking and the name Yvarro usually ended up in terrible situations, and that was something Ryssa wanted to avoid. She listened to the Senator without interruption, instead, she herself took a lookout toward the sea. She wondered how it was that someone such as the former Air Marshal Pavanos had grown up here, even now she could still see the scars of war. Balmorra scarcely let go of a grudge it seemed, "we are not beyond aiding a government when called upon, we've worked with the past incarnation of the Galactic Alliance, most notably at Thyferra of where we still operate a terraforming site, along with a geological research facility."
The answer to the question was yes, Primo Victorian would be willing to help if the need arose. "However." There was a pregnant pause, as Ryssa pushed her lips together and the cogs in her mind turned. "Should Balmorra find itself in a different position, understand that we will do our best to aid the planet in whatever way we can. Primo Victoria operates more than just shipyards, we a conglomerate that works in agriculture, mineral resources, mining, we even build resorts under our Crown Resorts company." Food, clothing, water if necessary - Primo Victorian would find a way to obtain what it wanted, when they needed it.
"Truly, the galaxy is at your disposal when you work with us, Senator Chandra." She turned toward the Senator with a knowing smile.

Adhirra picked up the second drink she had poured for Yvarro and almost instinctively began to cradle it like her own she drew closer, eyes clearly quite content with the wat things are going. Perhaps this woman knew the internal pressure being placed on her by Corellia and Humbarine. Every Holonet News chyron from Alderaan to Byss was making it clear that Balmorran's dominance was on the rise. "
This Alliance..." she rejected the word internally, "this planet..." that world didn't have enough gravitas either. After a long, thoughtful pause she smiled, "I would be in your personal debt, Ms. Yvarro. And I promise you, that the returns you make on Balmorra, the trade rate we give, the quality of raw materials... it would all be open to you."
"So what do you say, Ms. Yverro? For a better future??" Adhira extended a kind warm hand.

"I say, that we are in agreement."
Ryssa gave a nod of respect toward the Senator, before she added in a matter-of-fact tone, "and if I may be so bold." The younger woman took a moment to take a deep breath and then slowly exhale, "you should be Vice-Chancellor, at least with you in charge the Alliance can benefit." The current Vice-Chancellor had such a narrow view that it would only stifle the Alliance's growth. "Now then, a tip from me to you."
"I hadn't initially considered Balmorra, I'll be honest, but my mother the former Lord Admiral of the Sith Empire's Seventh Fleet and Grand Admiral of Naval Engineering for the former First Order... she had a friend. A colleague who worked both in the First Order and the Sith Empire as a pilot and later Air Marshal."
"This friend, Ishana Pavanos I believe is her name."
"Her family is from Balmorra, but they were uprooted when the Sith Empire tore through the planet during its conquest of the former Free World's Coalition." That would most certainly stand out in the mind of the Senator or so Ryssa hoped, "they had a large farm here, and while the Pavanos family isn't one of the aristocracies, it would be a gesture of sorts. Should the Pavanos family be given their lands back, assuming it's survived the battles."
Ryssa stopped there and turned away from the view of the sea. "Now, I am grateful that we could talk properly, Senator Chandra. But perhaps we should rejoin the party?"
