"Playing innocent now, are we? I'm the one marked here..." She smiled an innocent smile of her own. Perhaps what she said wasn't entirely true, but she wasn't wearing anything that could hide the little love marks. Especially not with him going down her neck the way he had.

"But you're right. We'll let them~" She chuckled and walked into the baby room with him, only to end up equally adored at the sight of their little one being happy. The stroller was definitely a good idea, or else she'd probably end up fighting him over who would get to carry little Eryx.

Valery then picked up their son and gently lowered him into the stroller, before stepping aside, "Come on, Dad. I'll be nice and let you push him along... and carry the shopping bags later." Another innocent smile before they'd leave the house and begin walking towards the city.

"Did I tell you that I met an old friend of yours recently?" Valery randomly began to make some conversation while they walked.

Kahlil_Div2.png

"Oh I'm sure I'll be doing a lot of lifting."

Kahlil chuckled a little at that, but didn't say much else on it as he instead got Eryx in the stroller seat to get him ready for their walk to town. They could certainly walk their way there. If Valery wasn't too exhausted after all. He smirked a bit, glancing towards her. "Oh yeah? Who did you speak with?"

"I don't know what I would ever do without you~" Valery teased at his lifting comment. She stepped closer and wrapped a hand around his bicep while she smirked and watched him put Eryx down into the stroller. Did she need the help carrying stuff? Not really, but she loved having him do the heavy lifting for her.

Strong, tall husbands were a blessing.

"I met Syd Celsius, though she was in disguise at first." She chuckled as that meeting flashed back into her memory. "She's from your time with the Silvers, right?" Valery then asked curiously.

She liked learning about the better parts of his past before they met.

Kahlil_Div2.png

"Syd?"

Kahlil smiled wide at that. It was a name he hadn't heard for a little while now. "Sort of. We actually worked together a lot when I was a spacer, after I left the Silver Jedi. It helped that we were both from there, though. She was.. Similar. Someone dark trying to be light, though in her case it was far more difficult." His smile softened, just a little, as he pushed the cart along.

"I think she'd really like what we're doing on New Cov."

"That's interesting," Valery said with a soft smile. "I didn't really get to talk to her about her past or personal things too much. We were focused on a mission. But it sounds like you two have some things in common." Still, it also seemed like Kahlil hadn't exactly talked to her in a long time, let alone maintain that old friendship.

"You know," Valery continued with a grin. "I feel like since you've met me, that you haven't really been making friends or keeping up with old ones." Was she teasing him for once? She was certainly trying.

"I know I'm awesome and all, and that we're best friends too, but~" She drew in a breath with that smirk lingering. "Maybe we should invite her over to New Cov sometime? Bring an old friend of yours around for some tea and just to catch up. Or would you rather not?"

Kahlil_Div2.png

"Have I really not?"

It was a rhetorical question. Kahlil tilted his head, pondering it for himself. Truthfully, no, he hadn't really made many friends at all. It wasn't anything too surprising for him. He didn't focus a lot on other people, especially with all their kids. But at the same time, did that mean he didn't have friends? There were a bunch that he probably should at least reach out to.

But he never felt alone.

"We can, if she's comfortable with it. She has.. Trouble, with Sith and Sithspawn."

Valery just grinned, "Nope, but that's okay. I like having you around for myself and the kids." A bit selfish maybe, but she wasn't too serious about it. That said...it really was nice to have him so close to the family, and they still had friends with the Organas and such, too.

They were never alone, with or without friends coming over.

"She does?" Valery asked, hoping to get a bit of clarification. "Wouldn't she like to see us healing them, then?" She smiled and looked down at Eryx when he squealed a happy little noise.

Something that made her smile even brighter.

"Maybe she'd like to see the kids too. An old friend seeing how much has changed. In the best way possible." Family was most important, after all

Kahlil_Div2.png

"She was programed to kill Sith and Sithspawn on the spot. I'm not sure how much of that programing she was able to change." If she hadn't properly been able to overcome it, he'd just be bringing her to a place to set her off against her own control. It was something he absolutely didn't want to do. Though showing off his family? He smiled wide at that thought, glancing down to Eryx's smiling face.

"That sounds nice, though."

Valery stopped and blinked.

"Programmed? Made to kill Sith and Sithspawn?" She looked at her husband and blinked again. "You made some interesting friends, huh?" Valery chuckled and bumped into him while she joined him in looking at their happy little baby. She raised her hand and wiggled her fingers at him, which only made the happy squeals get louder.

"I'll see if I can track her down. Maybe we start with just some tea and snacks at home? Then we can always propose to go see the facility." She hoped that being programmed to kill Sith and Sithspawn meant that she could see the purpose behind healing Sithspawn as well.

But again...programmed?

Valery started walking again ans hummed in thought for a moment, "I uh, have never told you much about my old friends, have I? About the people I knew or was close to before stasis..." She frowned a little. Has she forgotten them that easily? And why had she never told her husband?

Kahlil_Div2.png

"Only the most interesting. Seszil was a friend too, technically." A made friend, but a friend none the less. That was about it for friends as a Sith. And as a young Jedi, for that matter.

Maybe he really was too distant from the people around him.

"You can tell me, if you feel comfortable enough to. I always want to know more about you love, but I also know those wounds are still there." He smiled a bit warmer. That was ultimately her choice, as always.

"Your friend Seszil tried to stab me on first sight. I hope you didn't teach all of your friends to do that?" She couldn't stop a grin from spreading, as she poked just a little fun at her beloved. She knew exactly why Seszil had acted the way he did, but she loved being silly about it.

How dare he get his wife nearly stabbed.

The topic of her own friends from the past brought back a more timid expression. Only for a moment, though. His supportive words made her smile and Valery quickly leaned in for a sidehug. Something Eryx seemed to like - he squealed with joy, seeing his parents happy.

"That means a lot. I think...I'd really like to tell you more about me. You're my husband and it was an important part of me. So, if it interests you...let's sit down with the little one and talk?"

"We can shop after."

Kahlil_Div2.png

"He was made to be my guardian, so it's not too surprising. You're probably the most threatening Jedi around you know."

Kahlil smirked a little as he glanced over towards Valery. No, he wasn't surprised that's what Seszil attempted. Still. HE reached down, gently taking Valery's hand in his own before smiling wider. "Then lets begin with that, then. There's a park close by we can let Eryx play around in, just so he's not bored, yeah?"

"Oh so I'm a threat to you, hm? Good to know~" She teased with a grin. "Always gotta watch your back, love. Never know when I'll make my move~" She nudged his side with her hip and watched Eryx giggle like a maniac all over again. He really liked seeing Mom and Dad messing around, huh?

That made her smile.

"That's a great idea," Valery said while she squeezed his hand in return. Together, they'd make their way down to the park and she was quick to choose a bench settled in a nice field of grass. She had brought toys along in his stroller, so she put them on the ground and let him crawl around to play with it.

"Alright, where to begin..." she smiled sheepishly. "Maybe my two best friends? One of them is the Jedi who ended up putting me in that stasis pod. He saved my life and, well, gave me this future."

"With you and the kids."

Kahlil_Div2.png

"I think that's a good spot to begin."

Kahlil settled down with her, smiling as he watched Eryx so eager to play. There was nothing that made him happier than to see his children feeling happy and okay to play. He hadn't had that, not when he was a child.

"Let's start with his name, yeah?" He smirked a little. "Names are always a good place to start."

Eryx was making use of his environment and the people in it — he crawled and rolled around, not just over the grass but right through the legs of his parents as well. He was extremely young, but Valery liked to imagine that it was the beginning of a rather wild imagination.

It was one of the most beautiful things to see, as a Mother.

"His name was Loqaal Kolaros," Valery said with a growing smile. "He was a Zabrak around my age and been by best friend throughout my life before stasis. He was.... traditional," Valery snickered and leaned in closer, so she could tip-tap her fingers up his chest to get closer to his chin.

"If he saw me like this, here with you and a baby, he might actually have a heart attack." She grinned and lingered close, almost as if she was about to kiss him, before she teasingly leaned back again.

"I think you'd have liked him. He's stoic as well and very calm and collected. He was a Jedi Guardian — the leader of the Guardians at one point — and a very protective friend."

Kahlil_Div2.png

"A traditional Guardian? I don't know if he'd like me at first." The son of the Sith Emperor not only married to Valery, but having multiple children after leaving the Sith himself after she woke in a galaxy she didn't know with everyone she knew dead? Manipulation was the first thought that crossed Kahlil's mind alone. "After, maybe. Once he had a chance to talk to me."

Valery rubbed the back of her neck and smiled sheepishly, "Well, my Enclave didn't believe in Redemption, so you would definitely surprise him. I think he'd like who you are as a Jedi though." She smiled and shifted closer to lean against him with her side. It was warm and comfortable, and let her enjoy watching Eryx playing in the grass.

He had his Mom's chaos in him already, though most little kids probably did.

"Maybe he'd dislike us being married and having children, but I'd like to think that he would support my happiness." She smiled and turned to kiss his cheek, much to Eryx's joy. Valery snickered and leaned back with a grin.

"Then there's my other friend, Sybille Lydelli, and her demon of a pet turtle called Princess..." There was a story there, for sure.

Something involving Valery's troubles bonding with animals.

Kahlil_Div2.png

"I had some things to say about Loqaal but now I'm zeroed in on Princess. You're going to have to explain that one completely." Kahlil was all grins now as he watched her, leaning calmly back as Eryx continued to play in the grass just close by. Oh yes, he was eager to tease her about this princess character now.

"Oh no, please. Feel free to ask me anything about Loqaal," Valery tried with an almost nervous smile. She had gotten ahead of herself, mentioning princess. There was no way he'd let her get away with it now, and one look into his eyes said it all. She sighed, smirked and relented after a moment.

"Fine, you're going to tease me anyway." She gave him a knowing look and went on, "Back at my old Enclave, Jedi could have pets if they became Beastmasters. They were a group of Jedi specialized in taking care of animals, which was quite useful on New Cov. My friend Sybille... had a turtle. A very big one, that she called Princess." Valery rolled her eyes.

"The turtle didn't like me, and anytime I got close to it, she'd literally screech at me. Then there was one time when the turtle snapped at me, and in response, I shoved it away with my foot and Sybille yelled at me for 'kicking Princess'. Can you believe that?" Valery huffed, clearly still salty about that particular day.

It wasn't kicking, it was shoving.

"Princess also tore up a dress of mine once, in public! Chewed on the skirt and pulled it down off my shoulders. I don't think I've been quite as embarrassed before."

Kahlil_Div2.png

"You really aren't good with animals, huh."

Kahlil laughed now. He hadn't as he listened, but now he didn't bother holding back. The great Sword of the Jedi, bested by a turtle of all things. He couldn't help but laugh at that.

"Maybe we should get you into some beastmaster lessons? They might be able to help, huh?"
