DESCRIPTION
In an effort to expand their product line even further the design team at Hekler'Kok began looking for a niche they could fill with a product. One niche was a mobile heavy weapons platform that could equip infantry with heavy weapons without them having to carry said weapons themselves. Another niche they found was both a combat and non-combat one, the need for a cargo carrier to help both soldier and civilian.

Deciding to fill both of these niches the design team began to try and figure out how exactly they would do this. Their first thought was simply a small and lightweight vehicle that could be manned by a single operator, this was however quickly nixed when it was realized a single operator wouldn't be able to drive and use the weaponry at the same time. After much more brainstorming they settled on the idea of a droid/drone.

They choose a tracked platform for the droid to give it a good amount of off-road mobility. For armor they choose the Prex-class Composite Armor for it to give it a high degree of survivability against a wide variety of attacks. It's attack variant is equipped with a 14.5x114mm heavy machine gun for taking on infantry or light armor and a 40x46mm automatic grenade launcher for taking out large groups and dug in positions, both mounted in a three-hundred and sixty degree swiveling turret. The cargo carrier variant comes equipped with a central storage basket and two stretcher carriers above each track.

With the basic design figured out they moved onto more complex equipment to include in the design. A targeting sensor gives the drone better accuracy when engaging targets. Perception sensors allow for any hazardous materials and such to be detected. A diagnostic scanner allows the droid to detect any problems it might be having and report it. A search scope allows the droid to detect any traps such a mines that might be nearby and alert soldiers. A motion tracker gives the droid the ability to precisely track targets. Lastly the main operating system of a droid brain was installed to run all of this equipment.
