PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Arris is a human with visible cybernetics and implant seams in her skin. Her blonde hair is usually tied up in a ponytail, otherwise just over shoulder length when let down. Her grey eyes have an artificial glint to them and an uncanny lack of blood vessels or redness of the sort.
She is heavier than she looks, but of an athletic stature nonetheless; her figure is one some might find attractive from bust to waist, with a conventionally pretty face if they can excuse the panels. She wears the usual garments of a credit-starved spacer: a leather jacket and fashionable pants.

PERSONALITY
Windrun sees herself as a rockstar, but in reality, she's just a killer with an unchecked ego. She pretends that what she does is normal so she can justify flipping the switch between violence and charm, in denial of the damage she does to herself and others.
CHARACTER TRAITS
Cyber Mutant: Arris is more than a cyborg; she is a cybernetic mutant transformed by the power of the Dark Side and shares a Force Bond with her brain implant. Together they fight as a team, fueling each other's power in the Force and projecting their will over cybernetics, droids, and inanimate objects within reach.
Dark Horse: The Dark Horse of Ruusan is a gifted fighter capable of clawing victory out of defeat. A hard lesson she taught to Jedi Knights and Sith Lords on her way to third place in the Galactic Kaggath. Underestimate her at your own risk.
Goddess Complex: Arris is a reckless overcommitter in practically all her affairs. She is the kind of gambler who goes all-in on a bad hand because "winning now" means more to her than staying in the game longer, often with others on the line.

BACKGROUND
Arris Windrun was just a nobody on the run before she entered the Galactic Kaggath - a shockboxer with too many debts to pay and a target painted on her head. She barely scraped credits together and spent them all on vices and a ticket to the next rock. Sure... she had an interesting exploit or two.... but she was still the same old same old. Until she entered the Galactic Kaggath on Ruusan. To spectators, opponents, and the organizers, she was still a nobody. Hell, the only reason she entered was by the grace of a generous sponsorship.
Her first opponent was a seasoned Sith Outlaw who fought to kill, and they did battle on a giant wroshyr tree with hungry vornskr jaws waiting below. He proved more than a match, even dismantling half her arm in the process as the tree burned and fell around them. The cyborg will never forget that feeling when he used the Force to crush her, and she shot him dead with his own gun. That was the moment she began to awaken in the Force, and a moment that etched itself deep inside her soul and psyche.
The next fight wasn't any easier. A Jedi Shadow who fought up close and hard like she did, with nothing but floating platforms over lava to separate them from an early end. He pushed Arris to the limit, and she learned to fight harder than she ever thought possible. When the fighter thought she would die, the Force answered her with a defiant scream - her pain and fear made manifest. She managed to survive and, with some luck, she advanced to the next round.
Arris took serious damage in her first two bouts and believed her time was up. At the moment, she was glad to have gone that far and considered her success a gift more than anything. Yet her next opponent - the Emperor's Hand - would demand more from Miss Windrun than she had life to give. In a way, she died in that fight. Her body was pushed to its limits and then some, and transformed by an ancient dark power into something that blurred the lines between organic and machine. She didn't remember winning at all, but she did.
Good things must come to an end... Arris hated that proverb, even if it was true, or maybe that was why she hated it. Her final opponent was the tournament's eventual champion: Mercy. Star-Arm, some called her. Though it was a close fight, the Dark Horse of Ruusan couldn't go any further. She was lucky to be left alive. Spared by her opponent, who saw potential in a future friend and co-conspirator. Although Arris did not achieve the grand victory and wealth she had hoped for, she did come out the other side alive and, more importantly, noticed.
