Are You an Angel? [Silver Jedi Dominion of Iego]

Taiden looked at Nima, his elder had given him an order, so there wasn’t the usual hesitation another padawan or even a friend might make, he was swiftly off. More swiftly than you might expect. [member="Matsu Ike"] ‘s and his time at Shri-Ta had unlocked the grace and swiftness of Taiden Keth to a new level. Listening for the motion of the planet, he froze in place as his Master fought, completely still, the rotations the motions of its own energy and began to slowly spin, subtle gliding achieved he fell from their ridge line. Carried by the bump of gentle winds and current, the language of the planet. Had he achieved becoming part of it? No of course not, and his descent was not without dangers, he did not fly, merely slowed himself falling from high to lower.

It would cut the time it took reinforcements to reach Nima in half almost, but it was not without risks to her own student, risks as a Keth he accepted and braced himself for, catching his footing on the rock as he descended left a painful and dangerous wobble. Matsu had told him that hair was a tell, the breeze carried him in the direction the current blew, matching it, going with it not trying to control the descent. He controlled every extension of himself instead, with precision, the breeze that touched his clothing, would not be deflected with his own will… at least that was the plan… bang he hit his ankle, but through gritted teeth his decent didn’t stop, if coming to an abrupt halt not far from the camp, causing the padawan’s leg to twist to the ground painfully. Dust, dirt and rock covering his clothes as he fell. Without Matsu’s gentle guidance, that technique would take a lot more practice.

Limping over, but you wouldn’t know how much pain he was in, because Taiden never showed such things. “My Master needs you, she fights for her life and for the others above to halt their advance, ” Taiden looked upwards towards the somewhat distant flashes of Nima’s saber, eyes focused finely, his hair hanging in the wind.

Unfortunately he was informed the settlement and village had received nearly all of their aid or would do, which left them with a bare handful of men and women to assist Nima, that would have to suffice. Loading up onto a speeder, Taiden hopped on its back with the others, just two small speeders of reinforcements... it would be enough.

Clearing the tunnel with a running leap boosted by the manipulation of the Force around him to throw up higher, Connor landed and broke into a run as he killed the saber for now so he could focus on clearing the terrain quickly.

Over tree trunks, up and down small hills, through fauna and trees – his breathing was calm and controlled and he reached out to sense and hurdles that would trip him up. In the distance, he could hear the chaos ensuring where the congregation had separated.

Coming into view with the construction site below, a flurry of activity greeted him – it seemed the natives weren’t overly happy with the Silver Jedi involvement. With a sigh, he slid down the steep hill on his side, kicking up gravel as he went and heading towards his allies.

”I take the Padawans away for 10 minutes and you break out into war?”

Activating his blue blade once more with a grin, he backed away to get a clear view of the battleground, and moved to the right to try and cut off a point where he saw the Maelibi coming from. He managed to surprise one stalking forward and with a satisfying swipe upwards through the monster’s chest, a spray of blood coming from the neck that the blade caught on the way out.

Connor winced and staggered sideways to try keep out of sight from others.

Mark was running for his life now. First the group had split into two, and now the Xandu were right on their heels. The wines beasts lashed their talons down at Mark. He hadn't wanted to hurt them, but he was going to have to defend himself. He ignited his green bladed lightsaber and swung it overhead, which kept them at bay for the moment. He had to get back to the camp.
Suddenly, one of the Xandu came down upon Mark, finally managing together past his blade. As the foot carrying large talons came down to grab him, Mark knew he had to think fast. He suddenly got an idea he knew could be suicidal in any other situation. He force jumped upwards, seemingly into the Xandu's grasp, and grabbed onto the foot that came to grab him. The creature jerked downwards. Everything had gone into a sort of slow motion now, like something out of the movies that Mark watched sometimes. He swung the blade around his head, removing his opponent's feet. The animal screeched as Mark let go and fell fifteen feet or so back to the ground. He landed almost in a kneeling stance, and shakily stood up. He knew the other creatures wouldn't be far behind him, so he kept running toward the camp.
As he came over the rise that led to the camp, he found not the peaceful scene that he'd seen when he'd landed, but a battleground.
"What on Yavin happened here to start this? I though we we're bringing two species together, not starting a war."

Master of Her Own Destiny
The sage was indeed very quick, she was having a hard time trying to dodge them, and also he had the advantage of nature with him, and he didn't let her to take a breath, and she could feel that her strength was fading slowly, until... she heard a familiar voice, killing one more lizard with a quick attack, she turned to the direction that the voice was coming and expected it to be reinforcements, but the thing was she made a terrible mistake by turning her back to the enemy, with a powerful blow she lost her balance, but quickly regained it, she was trained to do it actually.

"Hey Connor, just in time for the show!" She shouted to [member="Connor Harrison"] and jumped towards the lizard, taking its life by stabbing it mid-air, now she had the audience and she had to put up a good show, but she didn't have the strength to take all of them. "Now would be a great time to help!" She told once more as more lizards came flying directly towards her, and the Sage was doing something suspicious, aside from the mask she could hear some voices coming from him and they weren't from a language that she knew.

Well, she didn't know what happened, everything seemed so peaceful a second ago and now they found themselves in a war. Well, the fate never smiled to Jedi.

Not a word would pass Coci's lips, Thurion's words had cut her and she stood with a look of bewilderment. She has seen that look on his face before, only the once and at that time it had surprised her, as it did now. On Midvinter, the day of the battle after fighting Thurion, for a short time had allowed a sense of blood lust enter him, and now here? She hoped that that was not the case, that it was simply his concern for everyone that had caused him to voice his obvious displeasure at her suggestions. But moreover, the thing that caused her concern was the fact that the Silver Jedi had not thought, but had, as their first option to this situation, ignite the saber, to run head long into aggression.

She would not leave this conflict, she would not turn around and walk back to the ship while leaving others to fight, that is not her duty as Jedi, it is not her duty as Master of the Silver Order and it simply was not Coci Heavenshield. Thurion would have to rail at her later if that is what it would come to.

Coci breathed in deep, removing the pain of his words and clearing her mind to set her focus and closed her black eyes. The force she summon to her, filling her body entirely as she stood as if a statue, around her she could feel everyone, everything moving within the area, the living force pulsing with life from all sources in the landscape, she allowed it all to enter her and strengthing her. Opening her eyes, she began to walk pass Thurion and into the fight, her saber hilt in her hand but she did not ignite it, it is there just in case, but before Thurion could say another word, Coci vanished.

The light bending around her, all sound removed and her force presence disappeared from those who would be able to sense her, even the force bond she shared between herself and Thurion had all but vanished. He could still feel it but it would be distant to him as if Coci was systems away. Weaving her way to the centre of the fight, many more Maelibi ascending from the ground, others there already engaged in conflict with Jedi and workers, she stopped and raised her arms in front of her.

She had heeded [member="Gwrtheyrn"]'s words, it seemed few did as she had sent out the warning over the communications, and her mind had blocked the Song of the Maelibi. The ones that had not, now effected by it, some ran screaming in terror, others simply crumpled to the ground and left to the mercy of their foe, she dropped her force concealment, surprising those Maelibi close to her, but she stood her ground with her palms facing them.

Her arms felt hot as she drew the force to her palms and issued the first round of force flash toward the nearest Maelibi, blinding them immediately. Again and again she sent the brilliant white light to the attackers, and if others got in the way, so be it. They are blinded now and unable to continue to fight. More and more as she turned around and the bolts of blinding light flew from her hands. The blinding is temporary, they would recover but it would take much time. But Coci continued, moving as quickly as her body would allow, until many of the Maelibi staggered around directionless and scared unable to see.

The remaining Jedi would be able to quell the fight easy enough now and detain and arrest the Maelibi. Now that the fighting was mostly subdued Coci walked back to Thurion, "Yes I can still fight". she said as she looked up into his face.

Again and again the maul connected with the great blade. Sparks flew and the sound of metal reverberating off metal echoed even through the litanies of battle.

" Our people have no need for traitors such as yourself ... poet"

Crannock's voice was twisted into a guttural snarl.

"The ill omens that we have faced are likely brought upon our heads by your fraternizing with outsiders. Our ancestors are angry with your transgressions and thus punish us all."

Stepping to a side Gwrtheyrn's fist darted out to catch the handle of the gargantuan hammer. The force behind the swing hurt his muscles like all hell but the weapon was effectively halted. In retaliation he let Crannock have the full force of his greatswords flat to the face. There was a terrible crunch as armor plating splintered and teeth where ripped out from their gums.

In adrenaline fulled madness Crannock shrugging off the worst impact of the blow grasped for Gwrtheyrn's neck, all thoughts of his weapon forgotten in the haze. Before Gwrtheyrn had time to use the pommel of his weapon his face was driven head first into the earth below him. Flailing under a insane assault Gwrtheyrn took several blows to the face splitting his lip and bloodying his features. His first retaliatory blow landed more by luck than any form of skill. Seizing the chance the poet landed another and another until the only part of Crannock that moved was the slow raising of his chest indicating breath.

Looking to his greatsword lying in the dirt several meters away a pained look came over the Maelibi's visage. By the customs of his people he should now proceed to kill Crannock due to his failure. Might makes right had never sat well with the poet in any case and deep down he knew that the miners son was just a scared idiot at heart.
His head and neck hurt as he turned to Lord and Lady Heaven-shield.

" Please find it within yourselves to forgive these fools for their crimes. Many of these warriors' are nothing more than spooked youngsters who have had their first taste of the galaxy and have become terrified at the prospect. They don't wish to acknowledge that the calamity that befell our tunnels was part of a larger catastrophe and not simply something that happened because we committed some form of sin against our forebears that can be fixed through violence and savagery. I suspect that in their true hearts they know this - directing brutality towards those who wish to help them is a futile venture. Their pride and shame are to great to simply accept this however..."

To tell the truth Gwrtheyrn felt the shame himself. Though his people were predators and warriors true they had reason and enough intelligence to rise above mindless savagery. After seeing such a display he would not fault the Jedi for turning him away from their order.

Kei was concerned himself at how easily things had escalated, just because of the lives on the line, but then being looked at as a meal of the great lizard that had him in its claws, wasn’t helping him focus much on the situation at hand! Before he could stun it, [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] threw a timely intervention his way. "Appreciate it!! The Epicanthix called out.

The life of a Jedi Guardian was hard balance to maintain, on the one hand you had to find a peaceful solution whenever possible, on the other the force needed you to act to protect lives. It was thinking of this, that his training had taken him to train force stun and begin to develop it naturally, but he had one more trick up his sleeve. Hitting the ground, Kei rolled to land safely, more than a few combat drops as a soldier had gotten him used to bumpy landings, and you were trained to fall well, because you fell often!

Adding to what [member="Coci Heavenshield"] was attempting, he could sense his Master beginning her technique, so moved to bolster her effect.

Force Ease tension

While Coci blocked the signal, the nearest Maelibus and lizards would find themselves slowing to stop, their aggression ebbing way. The opposite of heighten agitation that some sith used, their muscles would relax. Their need to make their presence felt was there, but the dozen or so creatures around him, simply stopped wanting to attack others, instead walking around, if he was honest they looked a bit confused. Not only blinded by Coci, these were predators with their instincts curbed, and so were bemused as to how to act.

He wasn’t strong enough to affect the entire shelter area, far from it, but the immediate few Maelibus surrounding him and the grandmaster, and those about to burrow up to join them, stopped. This tired Kei, no doubt. Not as strong in the force as some, the Epicanthix had to steady himself on a nearby wall, visibly draining himself of his energies. He’d pushed so hard because other’s lives were at stake, that was what focused his technique to be as potent as it was.

Feeling the claw marks that had dug cuts on his back, he rolled his neck around, moving to pick up the nearest injured man or maelibi, both would be taken to the medical bay, and both cared for equally.

Now this, this was what Marek was good at. As a Malebi out of [member="Kei Amadis"]' range of influence rushed a certain dark armored Jedi Master an azure saber swung out, slashing into the creature rapidly. The creature fell in pieces, its comrades turning their attention from [member="Connor Harrison"]'s backing away, much to his pleasure. The monsters charged forward, claws ready to eviscerate the Jedi Master, they would fail in this. The first leapt forward and Marek effortlessly flipped his saber into its usual reverse grip and bisected the creature. Bursting forward he ducked under a second's strike, stabbing his saber through its stomach and blasting the third away with a blast from the force.

"I too late?" He questioned gruffly, snatching another of the demon's wrist with his free hand and squeezing down until the bone shattered then decapitating the screaming monster, cutting through its hardened skin with little effort. It was brutal, yes, but he wasn't known for being one of the kindest souls ever.

The blue-skinned Guardian silently followed on the heels of Jedi Master [member="Marek S'hadar"], dispatching a rather determined Maelibi that had popped up in the distance between them definitely with intentions to do harm; Cambria's cerulean blue blade made quick, precise rhythmic cuts and thrusts through the demon to end it's life justly and cleanly as she could.

Never more, never less than what needed to be done was this Shield's style of fighting. Why expend extra energy and be messy when one didn't need to, though that wasn't always the case. War was messy and did take a lot of energy so Bri saved it up for those times.

Just as she'd finished the Maelibi off, a Glider made a diving grab for her, nearly grazing one of her sensitive lekku with its claws. A last minute directed Force push sent the flying lizard head-on into another soaring by sending them both crashing to the ground into a tangled, lifeless heap. That was close, too close.

Sensing what [member="Coci Heavenshield"] was doing to disorientate the creatures and calm them, the Twi'lek Knight joined in on the Battle Meld if you would; lending her strength in the Force to keep the demons and lizards at bay as others helped the injured; some Silvers carrying wounds themselves without personal regard, relying on the Force and sheer willpower to get them through.

Nagate arrived at the comclusion he my be forced to kill a few of the Maelibi. It was not his wish, especially when the goal was a peaceful one.

He looked back to see [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] and [member="Coci Heavenshield"] and moved to them.

"Masters, we need to find a way to end the conflict, if they want blood, they can have mine. Send me in to negotiate, as a captive."

The Maelibi contact was with them, he turned to him... "Is there any way you can make contact with their leader and ask for an audience?"

Judah Lesan Jr. was always closely following his long time friend and master, [member="Cambria Zadira"]. JJ was raised with her as part of the family, and when in the privacy of the family, often referred to her as Auntie Bri. It was only as he had gotten older that he had realized the true history between his father and his master. Their bond was strong, and a choice made, a choice that would lead to Judah meeting Katara, and JJ being born. Ironic how the force worked. JJ found himself as a nephew of sorts to the blue hued angel, and she had found in him a companion though she had not had children of her own.

He never ceased to be amazed at the grace in which Cambria could kill. They had been attacjed by wild beasts before, and though it was always a last resort, Cambria and JJ both had taken lives of the beasts which attacked them. Be it her species, or her natural inclination, Bri was always graceful. While JJ tried to be, he was not, though her efficiency had rubbed off on him. With few precise, but deadly strikes, JJ felled the beasts gathering around his master as she joined in with the battle meld.

JJ knew his place. While he was a strong empath, while his mind was strong, he was not as skilled as his master. He would protect her as she aided her strength to those quelling the beasts. Minimal loss was the goal, and JJ did his best to only injure unless absolutely necessary. The beasts which flew over head were the biggest threat. One attempted a grab at his master, but with quick side step and slash of his green blade, the lizard lost its head and was sent crashing into the ground. This was JJ's assignment until his master could lend herself to her own defense once again.

Looking over to Master [member="Marek S'hadar"] with some amusement, Connor waved to Nima and started to climb up the incline to where one of the tunnels came out up towards the clearing. Stepping back, he pulled the Force to him from the swell of life around the Silver Jedi.

Pushing down with his hand to the earth below, he emitted a strong wave of energy that imploded the tunnel roof with a low rumble. The earth caved in on itself with almost no sound – just dirt, soil and rock mangled with fauna came down to block the exit for the Maelibi. If anything, it would help plug anymore waves of attacking warriors and allow them to focus on cooling the already tense situation

Sliding back down the soil, wafting away the dust, Connor surveyed chaos and killed his saber. He walked around the others, checking all were ok, and the Padawans were safe – this was a scary time for them after expecting nothing more than an expedition and peaceful negotiation.

”You all ok? Everyone, give aid to those wounded. We are still here to build bridges remember.”

Connor looked over to the Grandmaster and his wife; both were well and were together, and Coci in one piece thankfully.

Thurion kept fending off attacks as [member="Coci Heavenshield"] merely turned and walked off. The heat of battle had caused him to be direct with her, but even more so because of her pregnancy. One could not perform great feats of strength and agility while with child. Thankfully, she didn't have to. In a surprising move, she successfully subdued most if not all of their attackers by blocking their sonic abilities and leaving them temporarily blind and dazed. When she reappeared before him, Thurion couldn't help but hang his head in shame. "I'm sorry," he told her. His hand found hers. "I'm glad you're safe. Both of you," he added with a loving smile.

After the battle
(Feel free to finish up whatever it is you're doing and then skip to here)

Once most of the hostiles had been rounded up, still largely docile or otherwise incapacitated, Thurion approached [member="Gwrtheyrn"]. "They will not be harmed, rest assued, my friend. But we cannot allow further hostility towards the villagers if they are to survive when we leave the system." He placed a hand against the Maelibus' arm. "Talk to them. Convince them that we are here to help. Once convinced, allow them to spread the word." Now facing the Silvers, all of whom remained without any major injuries, he spoke. "Great work, all of you! Rest up if you need to, let the healers tend to your injuries. For those of you still fit to work, it's buisness as usual. Just... no more exploring dark caves, alright?" He sent [member="Connor Harrison"] a wink before returning to Coci.

"Thank you", he told her with a caress of her cheek.

Silver eyes stretching outward, watching ahead of the convoy as the speeders arrived at the settlement, it had taken time to get back, but the reinforcements finally arrived, medical teams, supplies and others to assist with those in need. It seemed more speeders had joined him on the way thankfully, coming back from other scouting parties and sites.

Rushing to his Master [member="Nima Tann"]'s side, the young Echani arrived too late to assist Nima with the sage who had caused all this, wondering if he’d got away, or been subdued. His heart sank because he’d missed another battle! Another defeat in his mind! It didn’t show outwardly that he blamed himself for another failure, though Nima might feel from their time together his own twang of his honor pulling at him. Taiden was too busy attending to those around him, and any wounds they had, to really let on.

“Remain still help is coming,” he said to the nearest Maelibi, “your wounds will be attended to.” Administering the language of healing to those he met, speaking to their pains in the force, and allowing light to enter them and their injuries to close. Taiden could not reverse anything severe but he did save a life or two, to halt bleeding or buy time, tiring himself as he did so, though you would not know it.

A warrior who struggled with a damaged name, and a strong sense of needing to satisfy his honor regarding it in battle, tried to show the natives in his care that violence was not the only way, and to be their example.

Finally when the most critical around him breathed easier, Taiden offered the same to [member="Nima Tann"], he would move to apply healing to her wounds she suffered if she allowed it, his mental focus feeling sharp, but wearing down with each patient he attended to.

Connor nodded and saluted to Grandmaster [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] across the way and brushed back his air, unclipping the strap on his armour under the neck to let him breathe a little easier. Moving through the carnage, he leant a hand on each shoulder and a word of assurance and compliment that everyone did just fine – doing what they had to do in the best way they could; as a team.

He watched [member="Nima Tann"] and her Padawan [member="Taiden Keth"] – funny to think she was now a Knight really leading others on the road to glory.

So much was going on, Connor never had time to stand back and see what was happening with the Silver Jedi, and how much people were progressing and developing and changing.

"There is more than one way to skin a cat", she said looking up into his face with a small smile. Coci played with his beard and gently tugged on it, "I shall see you soon, I need to return to the Oathkeeper and assure Lady Lyala that the assault has been ceased".

Reluctantly Coci moved away from Thurion looking for her Padawan. If he wished he could rejoin her to continue talking to Diathim, that attack had put back talks somewhat but nothing the Silver Jedi could not overcome. Gwrtheyrn is a noble man and would have success with his people, and moreover he would become a valuable member of the Order of the Silver Jedi.

She is tired now, heavy with child and the efforts on the field had drained her of energy and she needed to repose on the ship. She would never tell Thurion that of course, she smiled .. her determined nature coming through. But of course force bonds are strong, and hiding anything from her beloved .. impossible, he would sense it all.

As soon as she could Coci found Lady Lyala in their private chambers and informed her of the news.

Sapping a lot of her own build up energy not to use to attack those that felt the need to get what would be them as outside out of their way. Knowing now that more then anything these people needed their help in ways not seen before. It was more of building relationship with them something she was very easy good at doing. Even now her having the calmness after the waves of waves of battle that had taken a hold of this place. Finding herself unable to do much more then to smile. It came with a price, as she had reports to come in with the wounded. First things first that was care of those wounded or even those confused out of the hold mess.

Finding her team getting to work at the medical center, she would once again be needed with her skills deeply rooted to the nature around. Knowing at once that must be restored before those around could feel the calmness a cross the land. Finding it every changing. Flowing as if one needed to look upon herself finding only that of peace as much as could for now. Knowing the deepness that she was seeking could only happen with time, and building of that trust and bonds with these people.

Even then the wind seem to shift as she let herself flow out into the planet itself, as a mother would do seeking out her own child, their she would giving it the loving it need, to mend up the broken, of the very planet life that was destroy during the battle to start the bridge. Finding her way after feeling that all was under control at the medical bay towards the others.

"Where am I most needed, at Masters Heavenshields.", Letting herself open up to the others to feel if their was anything physical she need to give her skills as healer came to be known. Her eyes looking down a Coci to reach out to make sure the life that was with in Coci was safe.

Once grandmaster Heavenshield finished soeaking, Nagate waljed over to his master, Connor. He bowed in respect and looked over his master, he seemed a fair bit more grimmy and dirty than last he saw.

"Been playing in the dirt master?"

It was Nagate's rare attempt at humor, something that no one here had ever seen nor will they likely again.

Nagate had come out unscathed but he was a bit worn from expending so much energy. With the use of his abilities, he was able to avoid killing a single opponent. Which took more effort than he'd originally estimated. He removed his mask and wiped away the sweat from his brow. A dirt streak now shown on his sleeve.

The poet still catching his breath from the fierce battle waged only several minutes prior turned to [member="Nagate Hei"].

"Aye the clan chieftain and elders responsible for this raiding party dwell below in the tunnels that connect the subterranean caverns below here. No doubt they will be quite shocked to learn that their young raiders have been trounced thoroughly. I can lead you to them after things have calmed down somewhat and a sense of order is again prevalent."

Next the golden giant turned to Thurion. The master standing victorious after the bloody skirmish.

"Lord - you show mercy that would humble these miscreants were they to fully comprehend what wrath you could bring upon them. I will do my best to sway their way of thinking to a better path."

Now was the perhaps the most delicate part of the proceedings. Convincing the members of his people that not only were they wrong in attacking the Silver Jedi but that they should in the future assist the very people they had brought violence against. Gwrtheyrn knew how the minds of his people worked however and he understood exactly what they needed to focus them to a constructive end - a common enemy.

And so he turned to the defeated Maelibi. Switching to his native tongue so that they may understand. Gwrtheyrn did not know if any of the Silver Jedi understood the songlike language of Iego but if they did he did not mind them overhearing.

"Brothers - you have made a grave mistake this day."

None of the defeated shouted curses at him but there was dark muttering and glances that spoke of murder.

"The Jedi are not the enemy of our people. It is not they who have brought the corruption within our midst."

Some of the bested warriors spat to show their contempt for the poets words but others seemed more intersted now that answers had been promised to them.

"We have been caught up in a war. A great war that spans the entire galaxy. One where valiant warriors are locked in combat with warlocks , necromancers and those who would sell their souls for unclean power."

Now he really did have their attention. This was the sort of thing his people could empathize with. There was no love lost for those who dabbled in the black arts and insane shamans and sorcerers driven mad by greed and envy often featured as villains in the epics of his people.

"It is they who have sent corruption into our homes. They who have driven the planets wildlife mad and they who sit and laugh in their darkened shrines as we attack their enemies for them. We have become their puppets dancing to their machinations even as they sling curses and witchcraft to blight our homes."

Gwrtheyrn knew that their pride as warriors would be wounded at the thought of being manipulated and they would burn for revenge. Whats more
was that this external force gave them someone to blame their loss on. This failure was not their own but rather the fault of the shadowy sorcerers that were hidden behind their mysterious veils.

"Brothers I will name this evil for you. It is the SITH who have attempted to manipulate and wound our people. Whats more they are too cowardly to face us head on and thus they send their malign influence into our tunnels and homes. The who too are warrior are as disgusted with such craven malice and thus want to punish the Sith for their actions. Instead of playing into the hands of the enemy and attacking these knights we should join them in order to drive a blade into the heart of our one true foe."

There was no resounding cheers of approval and no pledged of eternal loyalty but many of the young warriors looked like they were thinking deeply about the words. Something had certainly gone very wrong within the tunnels of the planet and that had to have a reason. Black magic was an familiar concept and thus what Gwrtheyrn said was plausible.

Seeing this the poet decided to give his fellow maelibi time to think on the matter. What he had done was something of a demagogues trick. In truth Gwrtheyrn did not know if the darkside influence from the netherworld that had broken out in the tunnels of his home had anything to do with the Sith or not. The dark side was a capricious and chaotic thing and what had happened could just as easily have happened spontaneously without any outside influence. Either way whether it was a lie or not Gwrtheyrn felt it was a necessary in placating his people.

Turning back to the Silver Jedi and nodding to Lady Coci as she left before speaking once more - this time in galactic basic.

"I have explained to the raiders that you are not their enemy. I suspect they will come around to the idea with some time but defiantly keep a watch on them until they do. I feel that I must go into the tunnels in an attempt to clear the dark side taint that has been festering there. If any of you wish to join me then I would be honored by your presence."

Serana had gotten lost in the tunnels that connor had sent her into... She wasn't sure where she was when she had found her way out but stood there for a time on the surface and spread her wings out from under their cloak. The Del-Ya was looking at the dangerous things but also listening for whatever she could since comlinks were not made for her head. She would have to see what could be found or attend one of the classes to learn telepathy to communicate over distance while she started at a gallop before jumping up and giving a pump of her wings. Once then twice carried her into the air while she was moving higher up to catch a current and look for signs of the other groups. Something anything that might pop out to her while she began to circle and came down her wings extended to slow the descent until she was pounding a hoof in the dirt.
