- Anubys is heavily equipped with several of the new weaponry systems designed by Aurora Industries, allowing it a greater versatility when it engages an opposing starship. Multiple turbolasers and ion cannons, several warhead launchers, and an extensive suite of defensive weaponry makes the Anubys-class Heavy Corvette pack a severely powerful punch for a ship of its class.
- The Anubys-class is outfitted with several layers of reinforced armored hull plating and several layers of shielding, allowing it to last much longer in naval engagements than other corvettes.
- While a slightly older system, the Anubys is equipped with a Maelstrom Advanced Targeting and Tracking System to give it heightened efficiency when analyzing enemy attack patterns and targeting for the ship's gunners.
- Due to the extensive weaponry systems and the heavier armoring of the Anubys, the ship has a lower speed and maneuverability than other corvettes.
- Utilizing the versatility of its weapon systems can result in a few issues with examples being overheating with the Leamonde Laser Cannons and charge times with the Undin Ion Cannons when switching between their firing modes too quickly.
- The crystal matrix that acts as the heart of the Maelstrom system, if damaged, will immediately kill the system and it will be unusable until a new one is installed.
The third warship designed for Aurora Industries' Phase III modernization program, the Anubys-class Heavy Corvette was created with the purpose of a corvette that can deal a heavy amount of firepower in a naval engagement while also sustaining a presence in the battle with a high degree of defense. The engineers in charge of the design skewed away from previous corvette models of the company, especially those being phased out, in favor of a newer model that still fit the general aesthetic of Aurora capital ships. Several weapon systems, both offensive and defensive, from the Entite series were installed on the ship and to compliment those, the ship was equipped with six dual warhead launchers. To assist the crew, a Maelstron targeting system was installed to increase the efficiency of the defenses and the accuracy of the gunnery crews when attacking.
The defenses of the ship were modeled after those from the Atomos-class Corvette with a dual layer of neutronium-impregnated durasteel as the primary hull while a secondary hull of turadium was layered underneath. A dual-layered deflector shield was installed, along with a layer of ion shielding, allowing the Anubys to tank a good deal of fire over other corvettes and continue to engage enemy forces. To round out the defensive and offensive capabilities of the ship, a small hanger bay for a squadron of starfighters was built into the frame of the vessel.
