The history of the Arashi and their world is one of confusion. In truth they were used by the Mecrosa order for their ability to infiltrate and study over generations upon generations of poisons and manipulations. Their services hired out as cooks and maids in expensive houses. Infiltrating and killing off those who don't agree while working towards befriending other groups and slowly over the course of a hundred years or so coming to be relied upon until their final solution can be completed.
The Arashi while the Sith empire existed were largely ignored, using their influences and resources to avoid being brought into the empire while they isolated themselves. Instead infiltrating and gathering information on new technology, groups throughout the galaxy and slowly rebuilding themselves up from the darkness. The Arashi when the empire fell moved out again learning of Crina and the remnant that was forming as they dealt with the dangerous situations extending an offer to the princesses of the world to come and meet them. They would become friends with their neighbors.
The ones in charge of the world took their ancestors drive and moved it forward, developing the academy to train servants and consorts for other worlds. The state of the world while being burned and covered in ash provides very little, they rely on trade of fresh food that cannot be grown on the planet. In exchange members of the world are sold off into slavery and servitude taking jobs where if they make money it is sent to the planet to aid in restoration efforts. Their drive to move to another world is what drove Anirc to become how it is and now that it is dying their time to move and find a new world has come.
The Mystery:
The Arashi stole Anirc from the native Vahla thousands of years ago taking their temples, their homes that were still standing and converting them to meet their needs. After the incident that led to the Vahla fleeing the ones who remained didn't have the population and resources to survive. The Arashi appeared offering food, resources, friendship and over the course of two hundred years they made themselves relied upon while their scientists worked to slowly exterminate and kill the natives of the planet. Converting the planet to their needs and purposes. The slowest invasion through friendship and dependance instead of military force. Their people are like locusts and piranha's, once they detect the scent of fresh food and prey on a world the school of them return an infiltrate, become friends and work towards converting the world to their needs then slowly use the resources until there is nothing left preparing to move on after so many generations.
