"So, we all know Braze. Saram Kote, and you two are...?"

"Seven."

Flat, monotone response as usual. And no further explanation for the bizarre name. She was mostly just here to help, make sure Braze wasn't getting in too far over his head. Making friends was... well, not her expertise. So she decided it was fine to not be super talkative and be buddy-buddy. That would probably just annoy people.

“When we’re done here, I intend to return home… You’re welcome to come along if you’d like to see the work in progress on the palace in paradise. I’ll extend that offer to each of you ladies, and allow me to prepare you all a very nice dinner as thanks for your assistance with this,”

"...Maybe."

Seven didn't linger on the invitation any longer than that.

"Let's get this done first," she sighed, moving towards the temple structure.

Already her eyes were scanning their surroundings, taking in every movement to anticipate what may be lurking. Waiting to strike. Perhaps it was nothing, as indicated by the lack of strangeness so far. Even so, Seven was paranoid.

She wouldn't stop.

Listening to Braze's teasing, he earned an unamused side-eye from Xan for a moment. "Your lawyer clearly didn't teach you about rhetoric." She remarked, turning her attention back to Saram. It was strange to hear the language again after so long, many years since she ever had a need for it. She felt a sense of pride for catching on so easily.

She was, however, curious about the nature of Braze and Saram's relationship. Either the kid saved her life or there was some other dealing between them... regardless, she had to admit that it was useful to have a mercenary on call for anything. Already she was checking the costs of simply having people like the Strills on call for whatever dastardly plan she was cooking up.

"So, we all know Braze. Saram Kote, and you two are...?"

"Xan Deesa." She calmly introduced herself, following after the rest of the group. "I could do with dinner, by the way. Haven't had something to eat in a while, some proper food would be good." She continued with a look at Braze and Seven, who was quiet as usual. Whatever made her tick, the Demon's curiosity was piqued. She could harass the grey woman later on some answers after the gig. For now, Xan simply let her hand trail the old temple's walls as she stepped inside.

Power still flowed in parts, old systems laid dormant for them to discover. In no time at all, they were within the archives. "There's still plenty to be found here." She remarked, making her way over to a dusty terminal. With a breath powerful enough to rival an air compressor, Xan blew a cloud of dust free and tapped the switch to power the old system up. It was slow, fragmented and simply looked bad on the surface. Xan smirked and flicked her wrist to extend a wire, slotting it into the data port.

Her eyes flickered for a brief moment and the terminal began to operate on its own.

"Just needs some love." She quipped, blankly staring ahead while she explored the system.

"Someone has to make sure your security is is up to Mando spec," she joked. "Besides, I may need to head that way to check on that shabuire we left there anyway," she added. "Speaking of, he isn't causing any problems, is he?"
"You mean Okuma Milogen Okuma Milogen ? I'm uncertain… I think my father has come across him once or twice, but I don't think he's caused any trouble for anyone," he offered simply.

"Your lawyer clearly didn't teach you about rhetoric."
"You know, he and I don't often see eye to eye…" Braze offered lightly. "Between you and me, I think he thinks me arrogant and unwilling to learn new things… when it's quite the opposite."

He didn't pressure 0-7 0-7 any further about the offered invitation. The standoffish nature reminded him so much of when he had tried desperately to make friends with Aliris Tremiru Aliris Tremiru way back when, but he kept those private thoughts to himself.

"I could do with dinner, by the way. Haven't had something to eat in a while, some proper food would be good."
"Anything specific you might be in the mood for? I've been learning to create local fare, which is generally rice, coconuts, pineapple, shellfish, and fish, mostly, but I can prepare something else if preferred. I don't mind making each of you a tailored dinner," he offered.

He watched Xan Deesa Xan Deesa get to work and moved to take off a glove before frowning and glancing back toward Saram Kote Saram Kote .

"Hey… I appreciate you being here, Auntie Saram~ But your void stone armour might be causing me some trouble. I need to be able to feel things through the Force to get a glimpse of past events… Do you mind, uh… widening the perimeter so I'm just out of range of your pocket of quiet? I kind of want to take a look at some things that have happened and see if I can catch a glimpse of the past," Braze offered softly.

"Xan Deesa." She calmly introduced herself, following after the rest of the group.

"Ka - I mean, lovely to meet you both," she said, the mask of her polite small faltering in the privacy of her own buy'ce to reveal a cringe for almost drowning them in Mando'a. She knew Xan Deesa Xan Deesa spoke Mando'a, she had earlier, but she didn't know if 0-7 0-7 did. Come to think of it, Seven didn't speak much at all. Probably had something to do with why she had a numerical designation for a first name, she very much doubted that her parents were just fascinated with numbers.

That made sense, the girl was so heavily augmented, there couldn't have been too many reasons for that. She wasn't going to pry however. One shouldn't have had to be wearing neutronium or bandorium lined clothing to have to be able to afford some shabla privacy. She stopped paying attention to her beskar'gam's HUD readout, prompting the more detailed scans to vanish into the sidebars of the interface.

A force sensitive cyborg, a Mandalorian cyborg, a HRD and a Jetii, what the shab kind of group were they?

"You mean Okuma Milogen Okuma Milogen ? I'm uncertain… I think my father has come across him once or twice, but I don't think he's caused any trouble for anyone," he offered simply.

Braze Braze 's question diverted her conscious attention for a moment, "Yeah, that guy," she clarified. She frowned for a fraction of a second as she considered Braze's words. "I didn't know your parents were...involved, ad'ika," she said. The unsaid parent of that sentence was that she didn't know his parents were still involved in his life. What she really wanted to ask was, "How the shab could they let this happen to their own and presumably only ad?

Mandalorian culture had strong things to say about parents who didn't take their role as parents seriously. She hadn't been in Braze's life long enough to really judge his parents, but what little she knew of them, she had less than savory things to say about them. Thank the manda for their sake that she wasn't actually related to him by blood, she would have never let any sibling of hers do this to their ad'ike.

Saram didn't need to keep an eye on her armor's systems given that they were jacked into her conscious, a long-rained small part of her conscious mine kept 'abreast' of if there were any threats. She followed the group, pausing a moment to note the conversation between Xan and Braze. She was about to ask how Xan ate, but then quickly stopped herself. That was prying. She didn't know there were HRDs that could. The things she learned while on these outings.

"Hey… I appreciate you being here, Auntie Saram~ But your void stone armour might be causing me some trouble. I need to be able to feel things through the Force to get a glimpse of past events… Do you mind, uh… widening the perimeter so I'm just out of range of your pocket of quiet? I kind of want to take a look at some things that have happened and see if I can catch a glimpse of the past,"

"Well, good thing both all my weapons have plenty of range," she half-murmured, her speech only coming out slightly lower in volume through her helmet. "Next time though," she started as she deployed the recon droid docked to her beskar'gam, "Just shabla tell me, I'll use my older set. Or borrow one without the lining. Here, just stand still a moment, you won't even feel this. It'll mark you so I can keep track of you if something happens," she unceremoniously announced as she blink-clicked the release mechanism for her pistol holster as she slung her rifle.

Once she could feel the familiar wight of the weapon in her hand, she dropped the currently loaded magazine, catching it out of the air in the blink of an eye. She quickly reached for the one loaded with tracker dust rounds and inserted it into the grip. "Don't move, please," she added before she raised her pistol and attempted to tag the other three with tracker dust.

Seven let out an exhale, but ultimately allowed herself to be tagged despite all of her instincts screaming that such a thing shouldn't be allowed. She needed to be doing a better job at trusting people. The Evereni wasn't an assassin anymore after all. There was no reason to suspect that the company Braze kept meant her any harm.

She had means of making herself disappear in any case, should the need arise.

The notion of Braze's parents was intriguing to her, though. Clearly in this case they were referring to biological parents. That Kai'el man who had killed Lord Kalrath Lord Kalrath 's previous body was very obviously not the Echani's biological father. They didn't look much alike at all. Clearly, given the way that they were spoken about, they had caused the circumstances that led Braze to the place where they had first met. It explained why he had been so cryptic, more than the tense situation of their one-sided hostile engagement.

To have someone entirely unrelated to you pick up the slack of your biological parents, though... That was a concept very alien to her. Seven couldn't fathom it. She was ultimately very disconnected from the concept of a parent.

And a bit too old to find a replacement now.

I kind of want to take a look at some things that have happened and see if I can catch a glimpse of the past

"Psychometry..." Seven muttered, more to herself than anyone in particular. "Full of rare abilities, aren't you..."

If there was jealousy in Seven's heart, her tone hid such a thing very well.

"Thank you, Saram."

Braze wandered farther into the room, gently allowing the Force to flood his senses once more. He moved without any particular destination, following faint pressures that gathered behind his eyes as he searched for something… anything that might prove useful.

He passed a curious glance toward their former Sith assassin.

"Rare doesn't mean effortless," he murmured as he reached beyond the present, attempting to pierce the veil left behind by years of silence. "Being able to 'touch' an ability isn't the same as mastering it… Mastery requires enough power and endurance to use it, and enough control and precision to decide exactly how to wield it."

He pressed his palm against the nearest console and the vision of the room opened beneath his hand.

Not as it stood now, though rather how it was... countless people had known it. Light spilled from terminals that had long since been fallen dark until today. Robes whispered past him as the soft padding of boots crossed the floor in hurried, overlapping rhythms. Near a hundred conversations crowded into his thoughts, though none came complete enough to understand.

…the western relay…

…mission reports are overdue…

…tell the Council nothing until we know…

Braze's fingers tightened against the console as the impressions shifted through him as he tried to find a focus.... Faces passed without names, and hands entered codes that dissolved before he could read them. Pangs of emotion shot through the different glimpses of emotion bleeding through as they banded outwards and slammed in to his chest... Anxiety drenched in exhaustion followed by the lingering pressure of secrets accumulated within the very stone of this room until he could scarcely tell one memory from another.

Then one presence drew nearer and clearer in to the blurry focus... A man stood before the terminal.

His features refused to settle as clearly as Braze would have hoped.... Braze caught only scattered details from the blurry visage: dark hair falling loosely around a weathered face, a charcoal wrapped shirt beneath an asymmetrical coat, made of worn leather creased by long use. He carried himself without the ceremonial bearing of a conventional Jedi. Narrow pouches lined a low belt, and metal charms and coded cylinders rested among the tools of a courier or thief. A circular weapon hung against one hip, six folded blades concealed within its dark housing.

He might have passed unnoticed through any Outer Rim port as some dusty traveler.

Yet beneath the grime, the scoundrel's silhouette held an unmistakable discipline of calm and confidence.

The man's mismatched hands moved quickly across the terminal as bare fingertips pressed keys... File after file appeared beneath them, each marked with symbols Braze could not hold in focus.

Names blurred and the Assignments vanished with a few touches.... everything from safehouses, contacts, and extraction routes collapsed into empty fields.

The man paused over one final directory and he stared at the screen for sevral long moments... a pang of sentiment hit Braze tempered witha bitter meloncholy sorrow.

For a moment, Braze felt his reluctance as though it were his own as the weight of years compressed into a single held moment and tightened breath. These were the lives of those who had been burried within the darknesss... choices no Council chamber had ever laid witness to, and people who had entered the darkness with no certainty that anyone would ever remember them.

A soft whisper of a quiet voice barely reached him through the accumulated noise as a sentiment washed over him.

They cannot hunt what no longer exists.

The man entered the final command and warnings spread across the screen coupled with authorization requests, preservation protocols and a demand for credentials the figure either did not possess or no longer had the right to use.

The console's light bent around his fingers; locks opened without keys, their mechanisms yielding beneath a touch that felt less like slicing through security and more like persuading the system that the records had never belonged there at all.

The memory fractured suddenly and Braze felt the man turn sharply toward an unseen sound. His hand dropped near the plain metal cylinder concealed beneath his coat, while the other hovered close to the circular weapon at his hip.

The impression dissolved beneath an eruption of conflicting voices.

Someone has accessed the lower archive.

Seal the terminal.

He was never here.

None of us were.

Braze tore his hand away from the vision of the past as the present rushed back with enough force to leave him unsteady. His breath came in shallow, heaves as his fingertips trembled.

"There was a man here," Braze murmured as his somber jade green gaze remained fixed upon the console. "A Jedi Shadow, I think… or someone trained like one.... I couldn't tell whether he was hiding something he had done…"

His eyes narrowed upon the vacant terminal.

"…or protecting everyone who had done it with him."

Xan's focus was momentarily drawn away as a pellet of tracking dust popped against her jacket. With a frown she glanced down at where it hit for a moment, a hint of annoyance creeping along her features. She looked at Saram and held a hand up in protest. "Choom, you could've just asked me to transmit for you." She protested with a shake of her head.

Turning her attention back to the terminal, her eyes began to flicker again as she dug deeper into the terminal. Far beyond what any normal person could access, further than most slicers could get to, she delved deeper until there was nothing hidden from her. A lot of data was fractured or corrupted, it was going to take some time to amend and extract it all for the Jedi, but a lot of data was still there to be found.

"Psychometry..." Seven muttered, more to herself than anyone in particular. "Full of rare abilities, aren't you..."

Xan's gaze turned to the kids with a curious blink. "You get anything specific? I got a bunch of stuff here, if you can tell me what we're looking for, this'll go a lot quicker." She remarked, her attention turning back to the terminal. She had found sections where data was supposed to be.

"Got something..." She muttered, sifting further through the terminal's insides.

"Choom, you could've just asked me to transmit for you." She protested with a shake of her head.

"Now where would be the fun in that?" she joked. Dropping the pistol back into her holster before cradling her rifle. "This way, you're safe, it's on a a different frequency set, and I still get to shoot someone. Win, win, win." She blink-clicked her suit from shields to stealth systems and began walking away as the others went to work. Saram's form flickerd once before vanishing from view as the system adjusted to its surroundings.

She could be upset by pretending that she cared about not lazily settling into her off-rotation routine, but who was she kidding, she loved doing things that actually mattered. Saram made it to the outside of the building. She had two beacons, the 'Manda' module in her beskar'gam did the math for her, placing two nav makers where she could deploy them, warning her about the local flora and fauna while it was at it as well.

New Cov was not a planet she enjoyed spending time on. Part of her was glad that the company's contract with the government was all but over since the less-than-friendly takeover of the planet by the High Republic. Last time she was here off-rotation, someone had tried to pick up on some very limited bounty she had in the rim somewhere thanks to some criminal chakaare. He of course, didn't realize that hiding behind a wall when she could see through those to an extend was very poor concealment, let alone cover when her rifle could put holes in battle tanks, let alone prefab walls.

Saram finished dropping the sensor beacons, the returns from the EM Dust showing in the corner of her HUD. Good, everything was quiet for the minute. Saram checked the feed from the two newly placed beacons before dropping to a crouch, if she was going to be out here a while, might as well get comfortable. Manda knew the trees on this planet were hardly a good place to perch up in, she barely trusted the ground as is. Oh well, you adjusted when it came to aliit.

"…or protecting everyone who had done it with him."

"Don't worry." Seven stated in a monotone voice. "You will keep your code in tact."

She stood and examined the pain he now felt, having seen the vision of the past. A new burden now weighed heavy on his shoulders. Seven understood the Jedi Code well enough to know what her part to play in all of this was.

"Do what you must to find him. If it becomes necessary, I will kill him," she expressed in a rather blunt tone.

Without offering any opportunity to ask questions, Seven turn and began to walk away...

And vanished into thin air. Back to the ship.

"Grab as much as possible... we're in no rush... best I can tell no one's been here for a while... I'm guessing there's just a bunch of dossiers and personnel files and deep cover info that's been trashed. " Braze offered blinking and shaking his head rubbing at his eyes.

He blinked watching 0-7 0-7 disappear from sight and frowned at the mild unnerving sentiment it left him with. He drew a heavy breath and sighed softly shaking his head. He was going to remain here with Xan Deesa Xan Deesa

Back aboard the ship, 0-7 might have come across… Braze?

He looked far less exhausted than he had only minutes ago. He stood beyond an open doorway within the System’s Hub Room, overlooking several consoles.

This Braze was dressed almost entirely in coal-dark tones, accented by deep, blood-red cordage. A warm, affectionate smile rested upon his features, accompanied by an easy charm that seemed perfectly familiar, before an expression of recondition lit up in that somber jade green gaze.

“Seven… Not to alarm you... but... when did you last see me?”

“Seven… Not to alarm you... but... when did you last see me?”

Seven wasted very little time drawing her blade. The vibrosword hummed as she pointed it directly at the second Braze. Using Force Illusion to mask her other hand, she discretely activated the distress protocol built into her communicator.

"Who are you," the Evereni demanded. "I know you aren't him."

She squinted at his eyes. He was too well rested to be Braze. She didn't believe for a second that he of all people could rest, let alone in such a short period of time from her departure from the group.

This was something entirely different.

Xan nodded lightly at Braze's remarks, though she quickly let out a laugh at his assumption. "Choom, I got a lot more than just some dossiers here." She remarked, diving deeper into the virtual pit of fragmented and corrupted info. "I got... dossiers... movements, plans... hell, almost everything and anything that happened in this temple." She perked up with some enthusiasm.

"Hell, I could probably find-" Before she could finish her sentence, a signal from outside drew her attention. Her head turned toward the entrance they used. "Something's wrong... go check... oh kriff. No, not-" Her voice cut out and her body crashed onto the terminal before limply falling to the ground.

Neons died out, eyes flickered off, her body was completely disabled in the blink of an eye.

And Xan was nowhere to be seen.

Deep inside the systems of the Jedi temple, she stumbled upon what looked like a simple blocker she had seen a million times before. Disabling it, however, opened up a whole mountain of trouble. A failsafe was tripped, one that would normally have torched any droid and fried any bugs that breached the system. She had no clue on what happened to her body, not while the system was keeping her hostage. For all intents and purposes, she was cut off within the bowels of this digital tomb.

This was the closest she had ever been to claustrophobia in her life.

Saram's Equipment

Saram noticed 0-7 's departure and arrival at Braze 's ship. She thought nothing of it. She hadn't been raised on comms, it was probably nothing. Saram relegated that information to the edge of her conscious mind as she returned her attention back to the perimeter. Nothing was out of the normal for a planet like New Cov, a few members of the local fauna trying to ascertain who these newcomers to their space were. For all intents and purposes, everything seemed quite normal. So why wasn't she at ease?

Braze could be accused of a number of things, but she very much doubted he'd called her for no reason. He had to truly believe that there was a threat. She didn't know what had given him that impression, perhaps it was the nature of what he was looking into. Between Xan Deesa , 0-7 and Braze himself she couldn't quite fathom what kind of threat needed her as well. Yet, there was nothing even indicated its presence, was whatever it was already among them?

Using Force Illusion to mask her other hand, she discretely activated the distress protocol built into her communicator.

"Who are you," the Evereni demanded. "I know you aren't him."

The distress protocol caught her attention. Saram quickly checked the feed from the tracker dust she had tagged 0-7 with. Elevated vitals, that told Saram only one thing, she was getting ready for a fight. The warning flashed in her HUD just as the thought occurred to her, "ALERT, subject likely in combat.' Saram took a breath as she pulled up where the ship had parked on her HUD and activated her rocket-repulsor pack. With her armor's passive stealth features, the invisible thrust from the pack and sound dampening was unlikely to give her away to anyone on the ship, even if her beskar'gam's active stealth features flickered or failed from the rapid movement.

Then the Dust picked up someone standing nearby. Someone who matched Braze's biosigns, at least to the detection equipment the tiny microscopic monitoring tools had. But...Braze was still in the temple. What the shab was going on here? That left only one other option, a shape shifter, a good one at that. Just who the shab had Braze made enemies with now? Then again, that ad'ika had a way about managing to piss the wrong people off. That didn't matter to her, that just meant this was going to be fun.

She considered raising Braze and Xan when she got an alert that Xan's power signatures were falling dangerously low and from the looks of the data she had fallen over. Shab, that wasn't good. Not at all. "Braze, worry about Xan. I'm sure 0-7 and I can handle whoever this shabuire is," she snapped over comms to Braze. She landed quietly on the outside of the Mud Duck's hull, cycling the airlock as she stepped through, making her way to 0-7's position. Whoever this shabuire was, he'd made his last mistake.

dgxmq14-4d2aaa93-542a-4548-a4d5-8abe8fb38b16.png

The false Braze drove one hand beneath the open console and tore a fist-sized relay from its housing. Warning lights flooded the Systems Hub’s screens as the Mud Duck’s propulsion systems fell silent, severed from the controls that governed them.

The ship remained unharmed…but it would not be leaving the ground until someone repaired the connection.

“Not into twins, huh?”

Braze’s stolen voice purred with playful amusement. The entity reached through the Force. Lights flashed overhead, casting the chamber through fractured intervals of brightness and shadow as its shape flowed into a mirrored likeness of 0-7 0-7 within moments.

Down the corridor, a set of blast doors slammed shut. Heavy locks engaged one after another as the ship entered a limited lockdown sequence.

“How about a little self-love, then…hmm?”

It had boarded the ship with several purposes in mind, moving quickly during the brief time they had been away. The Mud Duck’s carefully organized inventory had already been collapsed into a single corrupted master list. The supplies still existed, though their locations, quantities, and labels had been thoroughly scrambled. A petty wound compared to what it intended now but it should keep them busy enough to over look what other surreptitious deeds he attended to whilst aboard.

The entity didn't rush her. Its mirrored form vanished from sight, only to emerge just behind her, close enough for its borrowed voice to settle beside her ear.

“Braze remembers you fondly. I wonder whether you remember him the same way.”

One hand reached toward the arm holding her blade, seeking to seize her before she could turn it upon him.

Braze was startled as Xan Deesa Xan Deesa 's body went limp falling in to a pile on the floor. A terrifyingly unsettling sensation washed through him, twisting his stomach until he thought he might be sick.

For all the power he wielded in the Force, for all the praise he had earned as a young prodigy, Braze felt completely useless here. Powerless. He did not understand what had happened to her, nor did he have the faintest idea how to undo it.

Yet his will and desire to help others slowly, albeit uncomfortably, overcame the abject horror of what he had just witnessed.

With Saram Kote Saram Kote calling out instructions, Braze forced himself forwards to act where he may have otehr wise had frozen. His exspression tightened into a troubled frown as he carefully rearranged Xan Deesa Xan Deesa 's hard-shelled body into a more upright position, checking each of her connection ports for any visible damage.

One uneasy hand settled upon the console, while the other rested cautiously against her chassis.

Braze reached into the Force, calling upon a technique he had rarely dared attempt. He extended his awareness toward the machinery beneath his palm, applying what little understanding he possessed of Mechu-deru in the hope that there might be some aid he could lend her.

Seven let out a tense exhale, then she darted forwards away from the figure. In multiple directions, actually. In a matter of mere moments, five of her stood present in the room around the fake. She began to circle around them.

"That information isn't for you to have, demon," she hissed, baring sharp white incisors.

Externally, her face was stone cold. Internally, however, this was all starting to feel a little too familiar. The things that Kalrath did to strengthen her awareness and mind...

It made her despise her own face.

With no more words to spare, the five versions of Seven began to blink between black and white. Then the blinking grew faster. Soon enough it was the entire room, made to be as disorienting as she could make the illusion appear so that the eyes of whatever this thing was would maybe get lost in the noise.

And stay the hell away from her.

Saram had snuck aboard enough ships to know what lockdown protocol looked like. She made it past the first set of bulkhead blast doors before they shut, but not before the others shut, sealing her in near the outer airlock. More so someone or someone hoped she would be. She glanced up at the turret in the entranceway. She had no idee if its IFF had been overridden or not, but she was glad that she didn't have to deal with that. This was the second time she was on the other end of company developed firepower and she wasn't a fan of the sensation.

A wave of her fist and the anti-security blade in her gauntlet did all the work. The first blast door in her way opened, leaving the hall ahead unrestricted. Saram breathed as sigh of relief as she moved through the ship, the intruder hadn't turned the ship's security systems on the defenders. Tall ask, but not impossible, just an absolute pain in the shebs. Door after door opened ahead of her with the right prompting from her anti-security blade. With enough interference from the blast doors cut out, she finally got picked up two life-signs ahead.

One was 0-7, the other...she didn't know who the shab that was, but it sure as haran wasn't Braze, To haran with that, she didn't really even know what the shab that thing was, let alone who. It showed up weird on her beskar'gam's detection, targeting and tracking systems. She had confidence could in the very least hold her own until she got there. She very much doubted this thing, whatever it was, could take on the both of them. Though she had her doubts it could take either of them on alone, she had long learned not to underestimate her enemies.

Whatever this thing was, it was force sensitive. She dropped the current magazine and loaded one with voidstone flechette rounds. In the close confines of the ship, flechette rounds were going to be the way to go. With her weapon shouldered and aimed and a flick of the other, the final blast door opened. For a moment, Saram dreaded to think of what horror might be awaiting her. A quick breath steeled her mind as her free hand returned to her rifle. With her weapon held close, and her armor's weapon linked detection, targeting and tracking systems fed directly into her conscious mind, she slowly moved onward.
