Dred scrambled for more cover as his recent supply of crates were destroyed. The mountain was having trouble getting the task at hand completed due to this determined tin cans. The reason they were focused on him was because he was the closest threat and they were hell bent on dispatching him first and foremost.

Varad would ignite his jet pack, skipping his body across the ground in a awkward looking escape and invade tactic. Blaster bolts splashed all around his body as he crashed behind a heavy lift that gave him antiquate cover for the moment. His chest plate looked as if it had been sandblasted and the sling that kept his blaster rifle attached to him has disseminated leaving the rifle badly damaged and out of reach.

Dred instinctively reached into a side satchel and thumbed a grenade. That was when La and her sqaud began to lay into the droids. Using the distraction that she had brought upon them, the mountain would toss the grenade into their formation to help aid in their destruction. Few seconds later the squad of Droids were deceased and Dred would give the female warrior at his side and mighty clap on the shoulder pad before he thrusted himself towards the door.

The large armored mando would cross the open space in a few strides, hidding the door and began to place thermal det tape upon the blast door. This was going to soak up sometime and the task itself was dangerous for Dred was a large target and was highly exposed.

The gap between the two sides closed rapidly, jump packs and speed assisting servos surging the Mandalorians into close combat rapidly, letting them bring their beskads into play, slashing and hacking at the security forces. I strode into the skirmish, hefting the large Beskar Power Maul into a security droid, letting it crumple and spark after having been struck, crushing its internal components. I pressed my awareness outward, focusing on the minds of the biological enemy forces, pressing against their wills. Even trained soldiers felt fear, and everyone had their limits. I invoked their fears, filled their minds with dread and hopelessness, and brought forth their greatest personal fears. It may not be as direct as it could be, but it was much easier this way to influence the battle as a whole and still compete in combat.

Letting the mace fall into a security officer, twisted, turning on my feet to kick another in the stomach, doubling him over in pain. Acting quickly I moved beside him, letting him catch two bolts in the opposite side that were meant for me. Hefting his body, I tossed it towards the two mercenaries that were firing into my warriors. The minor disruption provided all the distraction I needed to send a small missile in their direction, detonating among them and taking them out of the fight, one way or another. The fact that they had been willing to fire into the melee meant that they were either poorly trained, a lot more afraid than I had originally thought, or they cared nothing for the lives of their fellows.

"Push. Bring them down." I called, echoing the order through the Force. Draz would no doubt be in the tunnels by now and I could hear fighting from the west where Aten was leading soldiers against one of the main defense towers.

"Of course I am" The old man replied back to Conner. The mop up was nearly completed and Dred Varad was working on the blast door. He now needed their assistance to keep the enemy traitors and their droid security teams from wasting him while h worked. "Tighten it up!' He would order as he would rush towards the door, keeping a safe distance from the det tape and varad.

"Stack up on the door and get ready for the count down" Strider would command as his rifle would keep up and prepped to knock any contacts down that posed a threat to their current position. The placement of Det tape for such a large door was going to take time, but it was needed to breach and it left them all exposed.

*CLA KUNK!*

"What the.........!!" Strider didn't have time to respond as the blast door ripped open catching him and the rest of the mandos off guard. This was not a defensive tact he was use to. The miners inside decided this was their best chance to gain the much need initiative to balance the battle in their favor. The door was placed on emergency evac open protocol and slid open quickly then thought possible.

Once the door was open enough to expose the armored solders, the mixed security team of patriotic miners and droids open fired upon the mandos in the open. Strider would jump off the the side as bolts littered the entrance.

"I have something on scanners."

"Just showed up on mine as well."

"I see it."

There was relative silence as the moved closer. Waiting for the scanners to provide more accurate feedback than simply that there was something to be aware of.

"Repulsor-lift ships, likely crew transport."

"What, not even proper spaceships?"

"They're adequate for planetary work, and much cheaper."

"Ah, yes that would likely appeal to a Muun. Probably back-up heading to the island then."

"Seems likely."

"Shall we say hello?"

"We shall."

"With prejudice?"

"Extreme."

This was likely more troops, organic or droid, en-route to fight her beloved Viyi'ee. While they would likely find Drahr to be more than a match for them, Starbird had no intention of letting them near her mate to start with. Changing course, the three ships arrowed through the water, weapons systems engaging and warming up. Without ever surfacing, they fired, cutting identical lines through the water leading straight to the repulsor-ship. The explosion was fairly impressive, though it was quickly extinguished as the repulsors failed and the ship hit the water. It had never been made to float on its own, even if it had still been structurally sound which it most decidedly was not.

Lor's heart warmed a little bit as he heard Rawnie's voice over the comm. It came over a bit fuzzy, but his booster was good enough that he could hear her. He smiled and switched over to a channel that he'd added to the headset she was wearing. A much stronger connection.

"Visahot, when you come back here, I'll make you a ring."

The thought made him smile as he flew, even though he was quite aware of the destruction he was wreaking. The Mandalorian lines began to dwindle as the shock troops from the mining ship got to the mine. Maybe it was his turn. The Muun soldiers seemed to be getting into the mines through a back entrance, leaving the heavier weapons outside.

He set the Bluebird down in an outcropping that would be barely visible to almost anything in the air. Taking inventory of his guns, his gauntlet, his boots, and the armor under his clothes, he grinned a little bit evily.

Time for the real work to begin.

"Uhhh....!" Was all the escaped Dred's mouth before he was hammered with a volley of blaster bolts. He was caught in the open and unprepared for the door to open on its own and not assisted by him. The mountain was cut down and his large body was but a large bump on the ground. His detectable vitals were weak.

He could hear mandos calling out for him, sign of consciousness but he could not respond back. He could not even move, all he could do was just lay there in defeat. He knew he was alive, or aliveish, but he could not open his eyes to read the HUD vital readouts on how bad he was damaged. He open his mouth to try and speak, but all he could get over the comms was a gurgle and gasp.

...what more was there to say or describe. Andras was kept in the chair, arms bound behind his back where he was beaten while waiting for a man only described as the Boss to arrive. Hopefully he would still be aware by then. As one of his assailants took his hair and prepared to deliver another solid blow Andras heard the words from behind the man...

...
[Hold up. The Boss is outside. Keep him awake.]...

...that meant that the grip in Andras hair loosened and his body was allowed to relax for the moment. The Thugs couldn't risk knocking Andras out if their employer wanted a word with him. Well actually their employer wanted a word with Strider Garon who wasn't even in this particular cantina. Luck had it that Andras cousin may have been closer than he thought though. Anyways Andras just sat there looking up at the man who remained in the room with him before saying...
"You made a big mistake."...the remark only brought on a deep chuckle, the man considered lacing into Andras again but knowing the Boss was coming caused him to hesitate. Andras actually kind of like the idea of mouthing off a bit more knowing that events might swing into his favor shortly...

...the door to the back of the cantina opened, Andras had his head down but as expected he heard a voice but it was different than he thought...

...
[Who the hell is this?]...

...
[Strider Garon, just like you wanted boss.]...

...
[This isn't Strider Garon you idiot. It doesn't even look anything like him.]...

...at last someone who knew what they were talking about. Glancing up Andras would see the Boss, it wasn't a man, a curvy female Twi'lek with a tattoo on her left cheek under the eye. The Twi'lek had the right kind of body that Andras could get onboard with another beating that left him without much to say except for...
"I told you."...when he looked at the men who'd been beating on him...

The friendly shoulder clap from the Mountain was almost harder to stay on her feet through than the shots from the tinnies, causing La to give him a quick appraising look. The man was stronger than some Wookiees she'd worked with, and that was saying something!

"Can't slice it La."

"'S fine, fall in, it's getting hot."

"All my det is down. Will wait till his is as well before setting it off."

And with that the whole of Buruk Squad was back to combat, reinforced by Renolds an crew, keeping the droids away from the Mountain as he prepared the door to blow.

Which made it something of a shock when the doors blew early, not caused by them. Their backs had been fully to the door and their attention forward, not only that, by the more lightly armoured Mandos in the squad had been nearer too it. A slight grunt from Beraga as he started taking shots, a yelp from Sasctyr.

"DOWN."

This roared by La as she turned, stumbling under the fire, thumbing ammo back into the Riot Gun and opening fire on the Miners and droids. Beraga and Sasctyr had dropped obediently, under her arc of fire, making them smaller targets as they army-crawled back to their lines. La was about incandescent with rage. No one touched her squad.

"Harampr! Assist!"

The two Mandos pushed forward, grabbing Dred under the arms and pulling him backwards. In moments, shot or not, Beraga was there, taking Las place, leaving her to step forward and assume what as far as she was concerned was her rightful place. In the front. Soaking up fire. A lucky shot hit the join on her left arm, leaving it numb, though still attached. Good. If she lost another limb she was going to be properly pissed.

Beraga was Buruk Squads medic, he would help Dred, and the man would live or die. This was the way of combat.

Rawnie Tal'verda

"Haar'chak!"

Had she miscounted? Click click. Her gun wasn't firing. She retreated behind her wall, hissing with frustration as she started to really examine her gun. No. She had ammo! It just had stopped firing! Jammed. Great! Of all the times-

Blaster fire from the droids whizzed past her. She had to stay calm. She still had her rifle. That wasn't her weapon of choice, but she could make it work until she had a second to-

"Visahot, when you come back here, I'll make you a ring."

His voice over the comm made her smile. It also distracted her.

She let out a hiss of pain as a stray blaster bolt grazed her leg. Great! She looked down cautiously. Of all the times... and of all the places. She wore very light armor, made it easy to move, but she had more openings than most. It wasn't bad though. Just a graze, really. She'd be okay. She could suck it up. She'd been hurt much worse and kept going.

She pulled the rifle from her back, taking aim at the enemy. She'd just hold here for now. If she tried to push forward with her injury, with this chaos, she'd be dead.

Conner didn't see that one coming, with blaster bolts flying everywhere one slammed into his chest throwing him down onto his back. With the armor holding strong and wind knocked out of him the man lay there for a moment before addressing his father on the comms.

"I'm ok." He said as he coughed once on the radio and stood back up moving to the side as he did so.

Raising his Sledgehammer assault rifle the black clad mando aimed down the sights of his rifle and began to open fire on the incoming security teams. Dropping both organic and metallic targets his chest burned as he felt it bruise, there was no adrenaline being rushed to kill the pain. Conner didn't feel that anymore in combat, only cold precision and determination. Killing to him was as easy as buying milk and eggs from the store, it was nothing more than a chore.

"We need to push or find cover. We'll die out here on this pad if not." He said as he put another round between a miner's eyes.

This was proving to go on longer than he thought. Watching the mountain go down Conner looked over to [member="Dred Varad"] and his unmoving form and began to provide suppressive fire from the hip as he moved over to the giant. Leaning down he put his fingers on his neck to check his pulse, still alive good. Staying silent the cold mando put a stimpack into the man's neck and squeezed the plunger down to try and stabilize him.

"Man down."

Given the pressure of the Mandalorian assault and the attack on their wills the biological security, the biologicals fled towards the administrative building after realising they were not prepared to face this level of opposition. The droids however remained, stalwart machines, unable to do anything besides hold their ground and be destroyed attempting to fulfill their programming. The sound of sparks and metal screeching against metal told the story enough, the Mandalorians of Clan Vereen were hacking the droids to pieces and rapidly regrouping into their teams, preparing for forced entry of the building.

With only a few droids left, I waved a few groups forward and we made our way further down the mountain and fell in line with the building's access doors. The veteran warriors stacked up against the wall for breaching procedure. The specialist dropped to a knee and placed the very small shape charge against the access panel. A split second later he ducked away and the small explosive blasted a hole through the panel allowing him to remove it rapidly and begin hot-wiring the door to open into the administrative building on the island.

Off to the west I could sense Aten succeeding in his mission, and I could hear the sound of jet engines as Muun aligned air support began moving in on our position. "Call in the Cobras. We could use them right about now. Have them cover us from that muun aircraft as best they can. Where the feth is Draz and has he breached the Admin Building's basement yet?" I said, seeing the form of eight Cobra gunships push out from the dust cloud sending missiles out towards the Muun craft.

When her Captain ordered her to move up and cover the Baruk squad, Shae did so with delight, throwing fire to offer cover to the squad as they advanced on the door. Then she saw all the droids on the other side of the door and she grew a wicked grin. "Captain, I need cover!" She called out as she lit herself on fire. Malcom should be familiar with this move, he had seen it once before...

The plume of fire around Shae grew in size an intensity, glowing bright as she chuckled in eager anticipation. Once the swell had reached a sufficient size, Shae stepped out of the blaze and began to shape it, and soon the form of a giant fox began to emerge. With a mighty roar, the massive Firefox leapt into the throng of droids defending the mining spire, pouncing and spreading fire as it went. the Firefox had no mass or substance, so it couldn't knock the droids down or around, but as soon as they were consumed by it's fire, the heat would damage the droids' electronics, leaving them as useless piles of scrap by the time the Firefox moved on to the next group of droids. Add to that the chaos of the miners fleeing, it made Shae smile.

As Shae directed her creation, she was careful to moderate the amount of fire left behind so that the Mandos could still move forward without threat of being burned as well, but it was quite a strain and it was consuming all of her focus to do so. She was completely and utterly vulnerable, dependent on her team and the other Mandos to ensure she remained unharmed.

Lor heard a small gasp through his comm as he entered the mine. The carnage was pretty evident, and he was able to use his boots to fly over most of it. When he saw the exploded doors and the troops pouring out of it, he began to worry. Where was Rawnie? Hell, where were the Garons? Oh, wait, there was one... Standing over a man the size of a bantha and pressing a stimpack to his skin.

The Chiss cocked his coilgun and walked straight up to the firing line. A shot from the weapon blasted a hole in the droids directly in front of him. An advantage of magnetically propelled shrapnel bullets. As he advanced forward, the armor he was wearing took a few nasty hits, but he was alright.

A Muun stepped in front of him with a rocket launcher, possibly intending to end the fight by simply blasting his way out through the front. And then a flaming animal of some sort came running by him, bowling over the now-shrieking man. Lor thumbed his comm on.

"Rawnie, where are you?"

Hell had broke loose upon the crack commando squad. One reported mando down for sure and Strider bared witness to La's squad dragging the mountain out of harms way. There was no time to reflect on loss, there was only time to press the attack and the only best way to do that was to be aggressive. "Leap frog!' Strider ordered as he turn on his personal shield dervice and leaped into the maw of the entrance. What he meant by leap frog was the mandalorians would work in unison, as one sqaud would advance forwards under the cover of the rear squads supressive fire. Then in turn the they would take up position and lay fire down while the next squad advances.

The hound's protective bubble flared up with multiple bolts hitting it as his old ass rushed for cover while conner was laying down fire for Dred's removal along with the other mando sqauds. Once The old man hit cover, he would bounce up and unleash his version of hell upon the enemy by tossing grenades into their fortified positions before re drawing his carbine. Multiple explosions could be heard and scene and a few droids were destroyed in Strider's initial attack.

He would then lay down laser fire as much as he could to give support for the mandos to flood the entrance.

The sound of missiles streaking through the air and the subsequent explosions caused the soldiers to hunker down against the buildings wall as laser fire began lancing through the sky. Even in beskar armor with shields no one wanted to be caught by a heavy laser canon. "Get the door open now." I called over the comms. Mandalorians were attempting to breach the building through a number of access doors and small groups were stacked against each one, ready to enter and take the fight inside, especially since outside had become inhospitable with the air battle going on between the squadron of Cobra gunships and muun aircraft.

With a hiss the doors opened and I lead the group into the building, deflecting the first few bolts back at my opposition rather than attempting to absorb it as I had nothing I needed the raw energy of a blaster bolt for in such confined quarters. The biologicals were still frightened, but now they recognized they were cornered and a scared, cornered dog, often bit whatever came near it. It would take time to subjugate them like this, and if I started on this small group they would most likely be dead well before I could fully bring them under my control. Much easier to use illusions to close the gap on them.

Through the Force I projected my image cutting left, and another cutting right up the corridor at the security forces, while I charged forward. I brought forth my hand and continued catching the occasional bolt, sending into the floor rather than absorbing it. The illusions were merely to draw fire away from me while I rushed the opposition, and it worked very well. By the time they realized what was going on, I was among them, sending several sprawling and hearing the familiar crunch of bone as I ducked under the butt of a rifle sent at my helmet. I could already feel the Mandalorians breaking cover and charging forward as well, coming to join the fray.

"My...ma..... Sword.....!' The mountain would mumble as he weakenly reached out into the air as if he was grasping for his prized weapon that was being left behind while the squad was pulling his large body out of harms way. Dred could feel pain tearing at his body in multiple locations. The all familiar burn of laser bolts that had some how torn through his armor weak points.

"My......" He faded out to the dream lands of unconsciousness again. His dreams were filled with onslaught of merry making that included unlimited boozing, drugging and whoring. This was a good dream. Then he would come to again, his body cringing in pain and hitting him with the reality of the situation at hand. This could be his last days in the realm of the living. Dying was still better then living in a jail cell.

Rawnie knew it would hurt. It wasn't life-threatning, of course, unless she went too long without treatment. She knew how quickly infection could set in. She leaned heavily against her cover, firing another round at the advancing droids. She bit on her lip until it bled, anything to distract herself from her fresh wound.

"Rawnie, where are you?"

She barely heard his voice through the comm over the sound of her rifle right up against her shoulder. Sweet Lady Luck, this was hard to do on one leg.

"Don't worry about me, Lor'ika," she responded back as evenly as she could manage. She lowered her rifle for the moment as the nearest droid fell. She had a second. She slid down, back against the wall. She crouched there, panting as she set her rifle aside for a moment to look for a roll of bandages.

"I'm alright. I'm alright."

Suddenly there daring plan was taking a turn for the worst. What had begun so well was starting to unravel. Orders went around everywhere. Push forward, requests for cover fire, men going down. Such is the nature of war. Malcolm's eyes had widened hugely when the doors opened prematurely, catching him out in the open.

Most shots missed, some pinged off his armor. One blaster bolt struck home in his side, spinning him like a top and sending him to the floor. "Kark it all!" He growled as he slid out of the way from further incoming bolts. Shooting a quick glance to his side, he could see it wasn't exactly a scratch. But it wasn't to terrible either.

Shouldering his rifle, he forced himself back onto his feet. Running over to the downed vod, h took aim at the enemy, shielding his brother in arms while someone else more medically inclined could help him. This also allowed him to offer cover fire for Shae.

"Beraga hold steady."

That order was easy, obvious. As much as La did not like pressing forward without her medic, sniper and so far only clansman... He was needed as a Medic here. Her own injury was minor. She could shoot one handed. If she over got the chance to pop a stim pack, she'd likely get at least limited use of it back immediately.

When the giant canine made of fire went to work, La took half a step back. When she connected it to the ashen haired girl she eyed her uneasily. La did not like force-users or the force. At all. Still, this one was clearly on her side, and she was buying them a much needed moment to breath. She also looked vulnerable.

The Mando inserted herself between the fireshaper and their opposition, first reloading and then making using of a stimpack. As she'd thought, flexing her arm she found it awkward and clumsy, but usable. She was still being hit by the odd round, but for the most part attention was on the fire-beast. It was almost like a vacation after how intense things had been.

The Hound took charge once more. Buruk Squad knew this tactic well, they'd used it often with Strider in the past.

With the casualty being pulled away Conner got back up and started to head back towards his father. With his rifle at his side he launched a grenade from the under barrel attachment and watched as a small makeshift fortification was blown to pieces. While Conner didn't have the luxury of a personal energy shield he certainly didn't need it to kick these guys asses.

"Coming up on your six." Conner said as he raised his rifle up from hip fire to accurate shots.

Moving and shooting he pushed from the casualty to his father that had taken cover and thrown a fair amount of grenades. With that now in play the young man dove forward and skidded across pavement as explosions sent deadly shrapnel over his head and body. Coming into a roll he came out of it next to his father.

"reloading." He said dropping a energy chip out of his rifle only to slam other one in afterwards.

"Where do you need me." Lifting his rifle out around cover he sprayed blind fire down the hall to keep the enemy from advancing.
