“You couldn’t get laid if you try? I disagree whole heartedly with that. I certainly wouldn’t pass the opportunity up to be with a beauty such as yourself.” Adenn smirked slightly then, thinking mischievous thoughts. “Care to prove her wrong?” He stayed silent after that for a solid 5 seconds before bursting out laughing. He knew it wasn’t that funny, but had also just noticed her face after he’d said she was something. Together they were rather funny for him. “Oh darlin, don’t look so glum.” Adenn patted her back again. “I’m kidding about you just being something.”
He took a step closer to her, placing his hand on her shoulder, looking down at her with his head tilted.
“You’re a good kind of special to me.” He patted her shoulder then, squeezing lightly. “And I’m serious about the first part I said.” He winked, but with a head tilt.
So, she wanted his help in working on some experiment or another. Adenn nodded his head, he liked a good experiment or two. Then she speaks about the swings and how ridiculous it’d be for her.
“A young woman such as yourself wouldn’t be ridiculous on swings. I’d be the more ridiculous of the pair, in full armor and all that.” Adenn chuckled then, poking Adityas side in amusement. “Oh, I’m the silent strong type. But if you want to know more about me, all you have to do is ask.”
As they walk, Adenn can tell the place was only recently laid, but that someone with good aesthetical tastes had designed the place. It was beautiful, and Adenn fully appreciated the view. Of course, he wasn’t fully looking at the area, but also Aditya. He appreciated that view just as much. So, they were headed to her place. When Aditya took Adenns crushguant hand in her own, Adenn smiled behind his helmet. Squeezing lightly, Adenn looked at her in amusement.
As they walk, Adenn noted the broken construction droids and that they seemed to be missing items from within them. He could suspect who had done that, but would rather not say anything yet. Then they come to the door to her home, and Adenn dutifully wipes his feet on the mat there. He walks in after Aditya, still holding her hand, and looks around the place. It’s cluttered, but Adenn can see the potential. A table here, desk there, TV there and a couch right… there.
Shaking his head out of his thoughts, Adenn looks at the tables that are there. He notices how they’re hovering, no doubt from the droids outside. Then he follows Aditya as she keeps talking about stuff.
“I can see the potential here, especially once the furniture gets here.” Adenn looks towards the kitchen, once it’s cleaned up it could be something great.
Then Aditya sees her bed, or at least 2 blankets and a pillow under a table. Adenn can’t help but tilt his head in amusement, didn’t look comfortable, but if there was no bed yet, perhaps it was comfortable enough. He should know, he’d slept enough on the hard ground during training and combat to see the appeal in having at least a pillow and blankets. Well, not so much blankets, his armor kept him warm enough.
“No need to apologize, it’s your home.” But she still cleans it up, by throwing it into another room, presumably the bedroom. As Aditya does that, Adenn spins slowly in a circle, observing the place. It was certainly big enough for a person or two. Aditya then talks about the training area and the swings. She also talks about her plans for building stuff, causing Adenn to nod along again.
Then she talks about a chair, before she starts working on something. Adenn observes her and whatever it is she’s doing, he can’t quite see it, but his eyes weren’t fully on what she was working on. He was also observing Aditya, smiling slightly. Then she’s done, kicks some machine and throws a blanket on nothing. Adenn expected it to fall to the ground, instead it hovers in the air.
Widening his eyes slightly in surprise, Adenn can’t help but feel impressed. He certainly couldn’t do that, not even if he had a year to work. And she put it together really quickly. Nodding his head to himself, Adenn walked around the repulsor chair, looking it over. So, she wants him to sit on it. Honestly, so does Adenn, he wants to see how well it works. But first, Adenn feels like he owes Aditya something, especially for showing her so much of her life.
He keeps walking until he’s standing in front of her again. Adenn looks down at her, smiling slightly behind his helmet. Then he reaches forward, taking her hands in his own gauntleted hands.
“Thank you, Aditya. You’ve shown me so much about your life, and you’re right, I haven’t shown you much of mine.” With that said, Adenn reached her hands up with his own to his helmet, one on either side of it. “I think it’s time I showed you my face. My most treasured secret, one that only a handful have seen. It’s time you joined that group, because you’re treasured to me.”
With that said, Adenn used Adityas hands and his own to remove his helmet slowly. First it revealed his set jawline, finely chiseled and smooth. Next came his lips and cheeks, again, no hair, but defined and set. Next came his eyes and ears, piercing grey eyes looked down at Aditya, filled with something unidentifiable. After that came Adenns hair, it was cut somewhat short, not buzzcut style, but it also wasn’t a messy mop of hair like others had. Instead, it was well groomed and cut.
With that, Adenn brought his helmet infront of himself, still holding Adityas hands in his own, with the helmet between them. He smiled down at her, looking into her eyes, searching for what, only he knew. Then he detached the helmet from between their hands and put the helmet on a nearby table. He looked at the repulsor chair then, eyes glittering with curiosity as to how it worked, but not daring to ask just yet. Then he turned back to gaze at Aditya then, a slight smile on his face.
“I’d like to try the chair… but with you.” He extended his hand then for her to take, before leading them to the chair. There he sat down in it, hoping to sit down with her. The entire time, he had a slight smile on his face, gazing at Aditya while taking in whatever her reaction would be.
