- Weapon Variety: It has a lot of weapons to choose from, making it versatile in its use against various foes, including capital ships.
- Phkalt Metal: It has the ability to activate its shimmer effect, effectively a cloaking device that bends light around it to all that see it when activated with magnets. In addition, it has blaster cannon shots bounce off the reflective metal, making it more sturdy for combat.
- This Thing is Fast!: It can activate the SLAM MK. II when required to get from one place to another, in addition to being very maneuverable.
- Emergency Break, Never Use!: Emergency Braking without slowing down, will tear the starfighter apart. It is recommended to slow down first!
- Exposed Tube Linkage: Close to the cockpit is several large tubes, designed to keep the life support up and running. A good stray shot into them will disable them and make life difficult for the pilot.
- Phkalt Metal Coating: If struck to many times, the Phkalt Metal will not shimmer as it is supposed to and the coating could rub off the starfighter, making it suspectable to blaster fire.
A/DA was a deviation from the naming categories when leant to previous starfighters, based on their lettering. This one was designed with the designation D.A., standing for Dark Avenger. The concept was created from viewing several past millennia Sith Empire designs, attempting to incorporate them into a more modern and dangerous design. The ensuing result was a combination of unique weaponry, speed and agility with impressive defense capabilities not seen generally in other starfighters. Generally recommended for more seasoned starfighter pilots, it is considered a strong adversary against most foes, barring only to dedicated interceptors.
