A Brave New Beginning (GA, FWC)

Delila suddenly appearing beside her startled the doctor. She even stopped her progress a moment to turn to look at the woman before she explained who she was and why she was there. This also surprised the woman and the question of how she acquired that information.

“Thank you, Miss Castillon, but I don’t quite recall… “ She didn’t hire her, who did. Then Myles Davorak approached and spoke up.

He knew the woman. She then relaxed and nodded. It all made sense to the doctor. “Of course Mister Davorak. Miss Castillon, please do not make yourself too unnoticed. Clarise here knows my schedule of movements if you need to be briefed. “

They then moved into the Embassy. She moved a lot slower in the gardens. Rashae had a soft spot for gardens and flowers. Her fingers would glide over one bloom or the other as a peace would settle over the usually anxious woman’s features. Clarice would remind her that she needed to get moving. Thus her short requiem had ended.

She moved forward to catch up with the main entourage with the queen, the prince and Mister Davorak. Seems in time for Myles to introduce Miss Castillon. Still Rashae looked around as she prepared her game face for a very diplomatic evening. Her finger went to coms as she spoke to teams off planet being transferred from the Padme on orbit around Coruscant. She still had several efforts going through out the galaxy. That dreadful disease or affliction to the hapan population was still undergoing research to resolve. Humanitarian efforts assisted in stabilizing them but this affliction was difficult. Some say it was sith created with dark forces. This did not compute with the scientist.

“We will need to transfer the patient. We got to get to the bottom of it. If general CDC cant crack it then it needs to go someone who can. Use level 10 containment protocol, make them as comfortable as possible, in fact may want to put them in stasis for the trip. Roger. “ She ended the transmission.

“Clarice Hapan cluster, two weeks time. “ She told her administrator. “Of course Minister. “

Rashae toyed with the idea of bringing those afflicted to Alderaan secured facility as the new research lab was completed. Did she dare bring something that bad to Alderaan. That didn’t have to be decided tonight. She started her descent to the main floor as the Queen was already down there. The graceful minister was grace incarnate as she slowly descended without looking down and with polished style.

Still walking through the gardens, Myles could smell the blossoms and it smelled so sweet. The scents of different flora was almost therapeutic as he and the other Triad soldier were progressing through the garden.

"Alright men, maintain patrol routines, get ready for the main entourage and put on a good smile boys" He spoke on the comms with enthusiasm. Lack of security would not be an issue here tonight.

After relaying his orders, some uniformed men could be seen on the various terraces moving about to their designated patrol route. This was all discussed in advance before the Queen and company arrived here on Coruscant. Much planning was enacted and it would show tonight.

Myles took a moment and looked over his shoulder to catch a Doctor Lovous admiring the blooms, to which he gave a genuine smile. Good to see that natural beauty still attracts a crowd. He thought.

The Old Man had a knack for walking and talking as he piped up and said "As you can see, the Embassy boasts proud Alderaanian culture and brings the slice of paradise here to Coruscant. The Gardens is truly a remarkable sight and allows one to relax.......Anyways, moving on"

Tonight's event should spotlight on the Queen, not him.

From birth Myles' mother bestowed a servile attitude to him, he was taught to be loyal and honest. Sure, it had gotten him into trouble but it made him who he is today. With his weapon still at attention he progressed to the Embassy building, where the Grand Hall would await them.

Alexander whistled his little song before staring at those moving past him, Nameless workers who helped and prepared the speeches for the ones that they work under. His own aides got annoyed by him when he did not show up to events which required his attention but they knew he always got things done and that was why they did not quit or look for other work but these ones who trudged off to their jobs were all the ones who felt disdain for their jobs. Not all of them, no there were a few bright ones in there, a few that wanted to become such one day, helping or those that wanted influence and power. Alexander knew there was always some but right now he was on the look out for something different.

Unlike the queen and her more public members, his face was not circulated as often. Yes he had been hired and the queen had released a statement, but only a few could look at him and know who he was without question. It wasn't wholly due to his position either. He preferred to occupy his time with more simple tasks is all. He preferred to be the one playing music in the halls he was able to, being on the streets of Alderaan or Eshan and dragging along a small crowd while they had nothing better to do. He had to admit it was because he like attention, but only when he wanted that attention and as such avoided situations that might bring more attention to him when he did not want it.

Sadly, that was a case he might have to deal with today.

Supposedly, someone was trying to disrupt things, or at least take advantage of the queen's visit. It was a rumor he heard, nothing more and that was why he watched people now for anything different that he did not expect to see from aides and guards. He played on his violin while he watched, giving people reason to ignore him but also to glance at him, giving him sight of them while what they looked at was a simple street performer with an outdated instrument. While some stopped, some that were not even off to the government embassy, the others continued and Alexander waited to find one that did not fit.

“Jedi do not fight for peace. That’s only a slogan, and it is a misleading as slogans always are. Jedi fight for civilization, because only civilization crates peace. We fight for justice because justice is the fundamental bedrock of civilization: an unjust civilization is built upon sand. It does not long survive a storm.” - Jedi Master Mace Windu

By his sister’s side, Garith Junior quietly thought about why he was having anxiety. For a long time he was the only life he could sense through the Force. It was attributed to where he was. Life and basic physics was different. He was a castaway, a drift alone in a place he had to learn to survive. A place so alien to him every day was struggled to live. He was just starting to understand it. JR was actually suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder. Right at that moment he was feeling one of the symptoms. Hypervigilance was taxing on the body and mind.

Garith’s sister, [member="Faith Organa"] was talking to gentleman named [member="Myles Davorak"]. Whom JR perceived was a good man. Myles was also in charge of his sister’s security detail? Knowing that a respectable and trustworthy soldier was watching over his sister, it gave Garith a sense of peace. This made Garith slightly relax.

Still radiating a peaceful demeanor, Garith was smiling with excitement. He meant very bit of it. He loved people. He was a very caring man. It is why he chose to do what he does. He was a Jedi Master and with it comes great responsibility. His personal safety and happiness comes second. The vows he had taken came first.

Still staying close to his sister’s side, Garith’s anxieties felt so small next to the propose he felt.
They passed through the first set of doors…

JR could also hear [member="Rashae"] 's voice. A young noble woman he had got to know on the night of his return. She was talking to someone? Looking over he could see the young woman talking to a woman with red hair? [member="Delila Castillon"] was her name? Garith believed he did not know her. Though her presence felt slightly familiar? Why he did not know? He could be mistaken.

Inside the embassy, the building was secure? JR had confidence in Myles and the security detachment here. So JR reminded in the entrance as Faith began to move around the embassy.

Still he felt a bit of exhaustion. He senses were on consent edge, expecting something to happen. He just found out the symptoms he was feeling in collation with what he might be possibly suffering from. Thus his condition has been left untreated.

There in the entrance, in front of everyone. Garith slowly took the knee. His right knee touched the colorful tile flooring. His right hand braced himself up off the floor. While his left arm rested on the left knee, which did not touch the floor.

Looking at the tile, he then… Closed his eyes, he extended his presence through the Force.

With a gentle but quick answer the Force answered. The air slightly shifted around him. His hair moved being touched by the swirl of air. He centered himself through the serenity and love of Ashla. The love of light filled him. Replenishing him and it filled him with peace.

She stood before the building that had once been the Lucky Lady it was now some eatery boasting off world cuisine. Ok. Yeah. Maybe.

Oh man what a let down she felt she had hoped in the back of her mind that she would walk over and there it would be waiting for her like a lost child with open arms saying save me. But no. it was transformed. She felt sadness. Well..that meant she'd have to just build another..that's right build another.

She looked around this had been one of the best locations so..now what? She ran her fingers through her hair trying to think about what she could do. Sighing heavily she started to walk and look. As she walked she wondered how [member="Kaili Talith"] was doing, and if [member="Chloe Blake"] had made it back home, and then the kid [member="Makai Dashiell"] was he alright. She hoped so but she also began to think about [member="Spark Finn"] and how maybe she should reach out for her and talk, or invite her to come visit or...maybe there was something they could go borrow permanently.

"oh man life is just ever changing" she spoke to no one but herself even though she did get a few worrisome looks, Rekha just smiled. What else could she do?

They were making way to the main hall the endless stairs were also a sign of Alderaan architecture. Faith as a child had called it the Alderaan fitness program up the stairs, down the stairs, down the hall and then down the stairs until finally standing in the main hall.

She had taken note of the conversation, she nodded a greeting to [member="Delila Castillon"] , "Welcome aboard" she looked at [member="Rashae"] then to [member="Myles Davorak"], "if there is something going on with the Minister you should tell me. " She then moved over to look at the gardens a single path which wound around inside the enclosure with a pattern of flowers for enjoyment.

1873-flower_garden.jpg

It was everything that had been envisioned. Visitors and staff could take a reprieve there in the gardens from negotiations and the daily trudge of work. It would be lit for tonights opening making it a vision to behold.

Faith looked at the staff, "well done."

She looked at her brother [member="Garith Darkhold JR"]. "What do you think Garith you've been quiet and I'd like to hear your opinion on this." She was beginning to think that the industrial planet was not a place he would do well on, she was almost convinced that Naboo with its lake country and natural beauty would be more suited to him.

As they spoke the catering company was setting up, Faith had brought with her emerald wine to serve to the guests it was one of her favorites and it was made on Alderaan. When the guests arrived tonight Faith wanted them to feel they were as close to Alderaan as possible through the people, the structure and the food and drinks offered.

"I can be as noticed or invisible as you need Doctor. I will refer to Clarice as needed."

Herself and Myles were briefly introduced with Delila shaking his hand before he ran off to keep an eye on the Queen.Already the Doctor seemed a bit nervous if she had to guess. Blue-green eyes flicked around, looking for any threat. Didn't need to get caught with the proverbial pants down, seemed like it could be embarrassing on her first day.

At this point Delila took a step back to walk behind the Doctor and her assistant. She remained close but not too close. No need to make the woman claustrophobic on top of nervous. Eyes caught a dark haired man (JR) staring at her, although it wasn't surprising given the amount of cleavage she had on display. There was a bit of theory to her dress ; if they were staring at her assets they were either plotting something else or preferred the opposite gender. Not quite scientific but an excellent way to justify the plunging neckline.

Reaching the Queen, she offered a small bit of acknowledgement.

"Pleased to meet you Your Highness."

The garden area was all lit up for the event scheduled this evening. A breathtaking view all in all, a well-maintained green garden and bustling speeders in the background gave a very unique feeling of tranquility.

Myles heard the Queen prompt her brother on what his opinion was. Even asks for opinions.....haven't seen many royals do that. He thought.
While the company was located in this area, Myles piped up on the comms and gave orders to his men.

"Alright men, hold here in the gardens, 360 view at all times. I want eyes on the company down here."

Although this event had its fair share of security, it wouldn't be very noticeable. One of the objectives Queen [member="Faith Organa"] gave to him was to "blend" security into the crowd. This allows attendees to mingle and socialize without feeling hardcore shadowed. His men were wearing very formal clothes so they would look like other party goers.

A cork popped in the distance and Myles could smell the sweet aroma of emerald wine; a delicacy on Alderaan. Too bad I can't have some right now. Perhaps when we return to Alderaan I will partake in that. He beamed.

Lavish foods and drinks were being provided; genuine Alderaanian cuisine. Enough to feed hundreds no doubt.
Comms went off on Myles' lapel

"Myles, it's Parker. Got confirmation of some goods being offloaded from the Embassy.....unauthorized. Not sure of the contents, but it's being jacked. Orders?"

Feth. I knew this would be too easy. Myles swore under his breath.

Looking over his shoulder, then back to the ground he came back with a reply.
"Tail them, Shut that bantha poodoo down. Those supplies must not leave the area. Non-Lethal if you can. Location?"

"They seem to be going through the service entrance. I will go with some men and we will re-acquire the cargo sir. Over"

He was conflicted to report this......shortcoming to the Queen, she was in the audience of some powerful individuals after all. I can handle this, my men will stop them and nothing will have happened. But failure to tell the Queen might spark some insecurity and question his loyalty.

"Your Highness, may I have a word with you when it's convenient?" Myles uttered. Queen Organa trusted him, so he would honor his word by informing her of the situation.
Boy I hope she is in a good mood today to take this news.

Even with the crawling pace they had maintained through the Coruscanti skylanes, the aircab ended up having to pull over to an idling lane kilometers before the front of the Embassy as President Sovv's aides waited for the final word that the Alderaanians had officially opened their doors to outsiders. It was a matter of appearances, just as so many little things were on days like these, for it would not do for people to witness the leader of the Sullustan Council idling outside the front gate as he waited patiently to be invited in. They would instead arrive moments after those gates had opened, so as not to keep their hosts waiting and risk offense.

It was while the black enclosed speeder was instead idling a few blocks away surrounded by strangers that he had received word through his staff that the Starhawk was en route and should be arriving in time for the ceremony. It would be good to see President Eldyr again, as while Jaius didn't know the governor of Eriadu well, they had generally been genial towards one another at official functions and it would be good to have some more familiar backup behind the representatives of Coruscant's Provisional Council. Still very much a government in transition, the reorganizing bureaucracy of the famed ecumenopolis had not even managed to send one official to the Embassy's opening, attending the proceedings much like they did everything, by committee. Easily a dozen faces ranging from different racial blocs to varying trade and industrial interests as well as union leaders.

They were all milling about outside the speeders, shaking hands with one another in anticipation of the initial meet and greet where they would doubtless do the same thing all over again. Jaius had been a statesmen for a significant portion of his by now advanced adult life, and of course as a true believer he found no small measure of beauty in even the simplest matters of the political process, but he would be lying if he said there weren't also brief moments of seemingly unnecessary tedium. It would be far simpler galaxy, he sometimes believed, if it were equally acceptable for him to just be able to call the Queen with his comm link and wish her well in all her endeavors. But that was more his tired old bones talking than anything else, for the return of the royal line of Alderaan to the center of the galaxy was an auspicious occasion indeed, and neither President Sovv nor anyone else in the Galactic Alliance would want it said that they were not there to welcome and support such a spectacle.

And a spectacle it was indeed, for as the Sullustan finally waded his way through the crowd of Coruscanti politicians with the aid of his hovercane and into the Embassy proper, the experience was so jarring as to almost feel surreal. Jaius did not know what he had expected exactly of the Alderaanian Embassy before walking in, but to be seemingly transported not only symbolically but literally onto the soil of the foreign world. The extensive gardens were both tasteful, and an effectively stark reminder to the structure's guests that they were no longer in Galactic City, but the Free Worlds Coalition.

"I'm glad I wore my nice robes," he whispered to his body man, the younger Sullustan bobbing his head eagerly in agreement with along with a wide eyed open mouthed expression of their race's amazement.

His name, Garith heard his name.

He opened his eyes, and then stood back up. “What”, a bit confused for a moment JR asked a rhetorical question, “My opinion?”

Other people were approaching and talking to [member="Faith Organa"]. One person was that red head with the reveling dress, [member="Delila Castillon"]. It was hard not to see her. Garith was a bit red in the checks. Did she want my opinion on this ladies dress? If she is attractive? Garith was not good at these things.

“What her dress”, Garith looked down. He should have not have done that and he quickly looked back over to his sister. Garith was still blushing.

Luckily [member="Myles Davorak"] saved JR by coming over and approaching Faith with a question. “MY opinion, yes”, JR said. “I think MR Davorak has something important to say.” JR was really hoping Myles had something important to say. Talk about embarrassing!

CORUSCANT - EN ROUTE TO ALDERAANIAN EMBASSY

While ne'er-do-wells were busy attempting to hijack things from the embassy, the aircar for the President of Eriadu alighted on the main landing pad.

Dalton had kept his reports on the Starhawk, lest he continue to read through them all the way to the front door of the Alderaanian Embassy. He tried his hardest to keep the war out of his mind for the time being. This was supposed to be a joyous occasion, the reopening of a sovereign embassy on Coruscant, and he would do his best to not let the dark clouds that remained at the edge of his thoughts to ruin it.

'Maybe this will mark the beginning of Coruscant's ascending to prominence once again. Even after everything the planet and it's people have been through, the history of Coruscant keeps that chance alive.' He thought to himself as he slid from the aircar. Overhead, the traffic of the city planet would have seemed familiar to people from many different centuries. The scars on the highest structures had been healed, though some damage closer to the ground levels still showed the ravages of One Sith occupancy, and the war that liberated the world from the same.

Dalton paused a moment, outside the main door to the embassy complex, and looked out over the city. He was still overseeing the reconstruction from the First Order attack on Eriadu, and he couldn't even imagine the sheer amount of reconstruction that both had taken place on Coruscant, and still needed to be done. If he took a moment to think of the cost in credits alone, he knew he'd be staggered.

With a deep breath, and a shake of his head, he rejoined his entourage and entered the embassy complex.

Alderaanian attendants showed the party to where the majority of the guests were, after a careful and thorough security screen. Dalton was the type of politician that truly didn't mind such precautions. He didn't think of himself as a war hawk, though he knew his detractors certainly did, but security was often one of his foremost concerns with regards to his planet and his people.

As Dalton arrived where the majority of guests had congregated, around the Queen herself as could be expected, he had his politician face on. He was smiling and nodding to those he knew, and letting some of those introduce him to new people. He kept his course moving towards the Queen, as he knew he should offer his personal greetings and congratulations on the reopening of the embassy.

After a few minutes of what can only be called schmoozing, Dalton arrived in the orbit of the Queen of Alderaan, Faith Organa. His smile turned more genuine the closer he got, for even though he only knew of Faith Organa from her reputation, everything he knew about her told him that she was a truly good ruler, and one that could be a very good friend. In her orbit, he waited his turn to speak to her.

"Your Majesty, I am Dalton Eldyr, President of Eriadu." He introduced himself as his turn to speak to her arrived, offering a deep bow to the Queen. "Allow me to offer my sincerest congratulations on the opening of this embassy. What little I've seen thus far is truly a marvel." He continued.

Myles was waiting until the President of Eriadu; [member="Dalton Eldyr"] had his chance to speak. I possibly can't interrupt the Queen's affairs, that would be quite rude of me. He thought to himself.

The suspense was building in his gut. Myles then heard [member="Garith Darkhold JR"] address him; knowing that he might have something important to relay.

"It is important sir." He stood near Garith when he whispered in a soft tone "There are some hooligans that stole some supplies from the Embassy, but my men are taking care of it."

Davorak was unsure if the Queen had heard him, but he didn't want the others guests to hear him. After all, this would ruin the evening and Myles didn't want that. Not at all.

He walked away briefly from the congregation to get a status report from Parker.
"Parker, how are things looking?"

"Sir, its looking good, four out of the five thugs have been apprehended. The last one has the cargo and we are.....on his tail. He won't escape sir, as we have shut down the Service Exit."

In that short of time? Then again the thugs may have been well under experienced and just got lucky this time.
"Excellent work Parker, Ill be contacting you shortly on further updates. Over and out."

Turning back around and joining the congregation Myles smiled and carried on, but kept his eyes peeled for any other suspicious activities.

Faith was trying to compartmentalize things as they happened, [member="Delila Castillon"] greeted her Faith in usual form smiled, "A pleasure to meet you I'm glad you are helping us out today. Hopefully this turns into a full time contract for you and we can get to know one another better." As she finished the sentence she heard [member="Myles Davorak"] say he needed to speak with her.

She nodded understanding but also wanting to be sure she did not cut Delila off should she have anything to say but something in Myles tone told her he needed her attention. She hoped he wasn't going to say there was a bomb scare that would dampen the mood.

Faith tried to keep an eye on the entrance to be able to greet the incoming dignitaries, she saw a face that Ana had briefed her on. [member="Jaius Sovv"] of the Council on Sullust. She wanted to go and talk to him but she remembered Myles had something so she stood still. Her brother [member="Garith Organa"] woke up and reminded her about Myles.

There were days she wished she could clone herself. This might be one of them.

Well since Myles was now at the top of the list she turned to look at Myles. But then there was a very official voice one who was often skilled at gatherings and politics. She turned smiling at [member="Dalton Eldyr"] , "The President of Eriadu I am most pleased to meet you. Welcome. And thank you it was only possible because the Alliance and the Coalition were able to come together. I am hoping that other worlds will come and open Embassies so that we can once again share ideas and trade with one another in a setting of peaceful intentions. I would love to help Eriadu in any way we have available, my husband was born there I don't know if you knew"

She and Draco had taken a trip there early in their marriage Draco's neighborhood had been destroyed by the Sith his family killed. It had left a terrible mark on him to not be there with them. "So tell me President Eldyr is there anything Eriadu needs? " She wanted to help if the embassy only gave her opportunities to help other worlds recover, rebuild or expand then it was well worth it.

Where was Dr. [member="Rashae"] Lovous she might like to hear what the President had to say.

Once the Doctor had collected herself, having spent some time in the garden to find solace in the scents and lovely foliage of the season's blooms, she moved with Clarise in the growing throng of people. Rashae moved through the crowd rather efficiently as she provided a polite and engaging smile without being personable or too forward. This was a learned skill.

Rashae had finally woven her way towards her Majesty who was talking to an elder gentleman. Clarise bent her ear to let her know the identity of the man with the Queen. He was the President of Eriadu, Dalton Eldyr. Rashae could actually probably attempt the cloning process if her Majesty so decided. Rashae wouldnt know what to do with herself if she wasnt busy. The woman tacticaly waited to the side listening to the greeting and the man's words.

The Doctor waited for an appropriate opportunity before she spoke. “Forgive me, Your Majesty. My coms have been going crazy since I have arrived. President Dalton Eldyr, your reputation proceeds you. I am Doctor Rashae Lovous, Minister of Medicine for Alderaan. How do you do?” The elegant silken hand was extended towards the President.

Rashae was a beautiful woman. Her voice was just as beautiful as it was a velvet contralto that spoke of its years of education both academic and being a noble's daughter. Though her smile was a polite cultured one, her demeanor was distant and cold. It was a default go to for the woman around strangers. Where Miss Castillon was she wasn't sure.

That polite smile warmed a degree or two only as that was provided with its nod towards the Prince. She was not trying to be impolite but her game face was on. Rashae had a very distinct sense of propriety of what her place and duties where. In her mind anyway. Clarice was fielding the coms now that Rashae was engaged with the diplomats.

[member="Faith Organa"] [member="Garith Darkhold"] JR [member="Myles Davorak"] [member="Dalton Eldyr"] [member="Delila Castillon"] [member="Jaius Sovv"]

Dalton's smile was easy and genuine as he introduced himself, and received welcome from the Queen and an introduction from Doctor [member="rashae"].

He addressed the Queen first, as protocol insisted.

"I had heard the Prince Consort hailed from Eriadu, but I haven't had the honor of meeting him as of yet." He began, nodding slightly. "As for what Eriadu needs, trade and goodwill are always welcome. We are in the final phases of restoration, it's been slowed by the war and the build up to it." He smiled more. "And I do hope Your Majesty and the Prince Consort would visit again. We have heroes of the war with the First Order, and more to bury than I would like, but the true hope for the future lies in peace, and no one has championed that more than Alderaan." He knew his words were a bit on the flattery side, but he believed every word of it. The fact that the Prince Consort was from Eriadu, and a war hero as well was even better, in Dalton's mind. It showed that peace was possible, and the violence could have an end.

Next he addressed the beautiful doctor.

"Doctor Lovous, it is my honor to meet you." He said, offering a bow to the woman. "I don't know about what my reputation has told you about me, but I have heard nothing but good about the Alderaanian Medical Ministry. I would very much welcome any insight you might have to help boost our medical industry. We have turned out some very good battlefield medics, but all of our best doctors are trained foreignly at present."

Faith had hoped the [member="Draco Vereen"] would have been finished with his mission around the Alderaan quadrant in time to join her here on Coruscant but as she looked around she realized he was not there. She quickly looked at the President.

"President [member="Dalton Eldyr"] I'm sure Alderaan offers many things that Eriadu would find useful in trade. Not only our medical teams, and expertise" She nodded to [member="Rashae"] , "but perishable items as well. My daughter Laira has a few things that are part of her company Alderaan Engineering, that might prove to be quite useful." there was a list of things that the company produced that had come in handy in several places. "We also have a number of medical companies that could supply Eriadu. Rashae is good at setting up hospitals as well."

Faith looked at [member="Garith Organa"] for a moment remembering she still had family around her was a comfort. Faith stood and listened while the President spoke with Rashae. Where had the Sullust Council member gone? She scanned the group looking for him she might had to send Ana off after him.

Myles waited patiently for Queen Organa to take a moment to hear him out. Almost ashamed he went into a whisper and leaned over to make sure the Queen caught everything he was going to say.

"Your Highness, my men spotted some hooligans that were making off with some Embassy cargo. Not sure what sort of materials are located in those crates but I am just letting you know that my men have the last hooligan cornered. Nothing should be lost but I wanted you to be aware of what was going on underground"

Although this wasn't a direct failure, Myles still felt that his end of the bargain-- being security, was not upheld and he took personal responsibility for his actions.
He didn't want to put a damper on the Queen's evening but he gave her his word that nothing would go wrong tonight. In his endeavor he seemed to be 'unrealistic' but you can't blame a man for trying.

Myles' comms crackled back on
"Mister Davorak sir, we apprehended the final thug. Seems that all cargo crates have been accounted for so far. What do you want me to do with the scum?" piped Parker

"Throw 'em in containment, we may wanna see what they were really after, then afterwards we can feed them to the local authorities for theft of government property" Myles said with confidence.

Smiling at the Queen he retracted his previous statement and whispered once more "All is good your Majesty, my men handled it and the cargo is being returned as we speak. Crisis has been averted. Sorry to have troubled you".

The Old Man started to move away from the crowd but he was shadowing the area, making sure that he would first respond to any 'mishaps' should they occur. Feels like I am working overtime tonight.

Delila snorted in a bit of amusement as the man with the black hair caught her in his field of vision and became a bit red in the cheeks. There was a small smirk as she caught his eye and watched his movements for a few moments.

You still got it Castillon.

If the good Doctor was looking for one Miss Castillon, she wouldn't have to look far. Delila was still lingering, waiting behind several diplomats with her gaze trained on her charge for the evening. Delila didn't bother relaxing merely because the woman was hob-nobbing with the social elite. She had seen these types get just as a violent as any underworld tweaker, especially if there was a perceived slight. So far everything seemed to be basic pleasantries, the assistant she had been introduced to earlier in the evening was hard at work. Delila had an obligation to protect the assistant as well but so far to her knowledge most of the strife was with the Doctor and various groups.

Mon Cal | Sirene Islands

Rain pounded against the windows of the expansive beach home, thunder rumbled throughout the small island chain repeatedly. Makai sat in his room, a near 360 degree view of the storm raging outside. Scale-speckled hands typed away at his datapad, seeing there were less than ideal conditions to surf or be outside.

Bored, he picked up his comm and sent [member="Rekha Kaarde"] a message.

Miss Kaarde, have you considered opening a bar on my fathers space station orbiting Tabaqui? Tons of thirsty workers and since you saved my life, no rent. Hope you are at least thinking this over.

In the same fashion that Ana would have reminded Faith she was late Myles was whispering in her ear. She smiled at the President of Eriadu as Myles filled her in.

"no need President Eldry to be concerned security is settling into their new responsibilities. Seems there was a disagreement about where some crates belonged Director Davorak has seen to straightening it out." Thank good she thought she looked at Myles "Well done, thank you" Sometimes you don't truly appreciate those around you until they are needed.

Thank goodness things were going well, and where was the representative of Sullust.
