- Combat Function: They are generally a part of the 75th Ranger Regimen when not assigned to Master Vanagor (during large/long engagements)
- UNCONVENTIONAL: The Rangers are generally button-up, perfect compliments to a Jedi, "Reek Squad" are anything but. They are not bad individuals, just guilty of making terrible choices and having terrible reputations because of it. Vanagor asked for this team to be put together, not because he likes "unconventional" but because no one else will give them the chance they need to be successful.
- MOTIVATED: Aside from one member, none of them really like Vanagor. "He's a pushy standoffish arse..." but this is the chance for each of them to prove that they deserve to be here, and they know it. They're not wasting it.
- STILL INDIVIDUALS: They're all very capable in what they do, they would not be in the Rangers if they were not but "Reek Squad" is not a "Squad" yet, they're not a "team". They are still very individualistic and need to get past that.
- GET OVER YOURSELVES: Yes, we get it. You don't like Vanagor, but he has the same objectives as you, he is on the same side as you, and he will be there for you in every way.
- BAD COMPANY: Their reputation is holding them back, plain and simple. They are not incompetent, but their attitudes are what is currently killing them and will until they can get past these issues.
Reek Squad is somewhat recently put together, but aside from one member, the team though are all experienced. What they need is what every team needs, they need time together to gel as a team. The thing is, that is why their chief opponent, Jedi Master Caltin Vanagor, requested them to be his detail when he is in need of one. They are good men and women, they just need the right opportunity to realize it.
Lieutenant Talonar Graff - Human. Originally failed his trials twenty years ago and was jaded and angry for a long time before being given the option to serve in the Rangers. Now he is a team leader for this group, charismatic and headstrong, he earns the loyalty he has been blessed with. He does not like Vanagor, but he follows willingly because of the man’s station, and history within the Jedi Order of today and of the past. He is the team’s heavy gunner, often carrying a rotary, sweeping the zone as he is dishing out orders.
Sergeant Major Thrassk - Trandoshan. Thrassk is the team’s second in command when not assigned to Vanagor, a stickler for rules and regulations, he keeps the team in shape when not keeping them in line. The team sniper may come off as gruff, and he is, but the career Ranger is probably the most loyal to the cause out of all of them.
Sergeant Do’needa Speedo - Rodian. “Do” (Doah!) as he likes to be called, is an assault specialist in every sense of the word. Like Talonar, he failed his trials due to serious aggression issues and the new life has not completely taken yet, but he is getting there.
Staff Sergeant Ssagib - Wookiee. Yep, a Trandoshan and a Wookiee at the same time. Crazy enough, they are as tight as tight can be. Working well together as the big “walking carpet” is a “tank”, often using his tough skin and natural rage to his advantage. He can take a lot of punishment, and he knows it and can rely upon Thrassk taking out anyone who the big guy doesn’t see coming.
Sergeant Aric Snudtub - Human. Aric is new to the team and to be a Ranger, but he is probably the most enthusiastic. The young man was rescued on Nar Kreeta by the Master Jedi in their counter-attack against the Bryn’a’dull. The young tech was able to get a hiding place and managed to keep safe during the entire warrior race occupation. Parlaying those natural skills into military service as a way to “give back” and make good on the second chance that he was given.
Specialist Elara Scherrdown - Human. Elara is also a former Jedi Padawan, having being judged too arrogant in her teachings as a healer, and not combat capable enough into becoming a Guardian, she chose the medical side of the Rangers before she was even considered for trials. Headstrong and arrogant she “knows” she is better than you but will do her best to heal you all the same, regardless of her opinion.
