II • GENERAL INFORMATION
Name
: 1st Anaxsi Free Brigade
Nicknames: 1st TodHusars Brigade, The Firsts, The Husars
Motto: « Si tu as tout perdu, souviens-toi de sauver l'honneur. » « If you lost everything, remember to save your honor. »
Affiliation: New Imperial Order (NIO) [x] — House Haskler of Anaxes (HHA) — Governorate Defence Force (GDF) [x] — TodHusars' Corps
Classification: Parachute infantry [x], Mechanized infantry [x]
Headquarters: Yinchorr [x]
Description:
Ranks: There are many ranks into the 1st Anaxsi Brigade, and each has its role, starting with the commanding officers:
  • Brigade General (BRG.) — Brigade's commander, insignia: 1 star
  • Colonel (COL.) — Regiment's commander, insignia: 5 stripes
  • Lieutenant-Colonel (LCL.) — Regiment's second-in-command, insignia: 4 stripes
Then come the commissioned and non-commissioned officers:
  • Captain (CPT.) — Company's commander, insignia: 3 stripes
  • Lieutenant (LTN.) — Platoon's or Task Force's commander, insignia: 2 stripes
  • Second Lieutenant (SLT.) — Platoon's second-in-command, insignia: 1 stripe
  • Major (MJR.) — Platoon's third-in-command, insignia: 4 chevrons
  • Sergeant (SGT.) — Squad's commander, insignia: 3 chevrons
Finishing with the enlisted troops:
  • Corporal (CPL.) — Squad's second-in-command, insignia: 2 chevrons
  • Private (PVT.) — No commanding functions, insignia: 1 chevron
The enlisted troops can also be called by their company's nickname. For example, a member of the 3rd Company from the 2nd Regiment can be called 'Banshee' by his brothers or 'fils' by his captain, no matter his rank or his seniority.

– Orders of Battle: The 1st Anaxsi Free Brigade is divided into four regiments. Each regiment has a nickname, coming from traditional Gowli'izes' arms: Le Glaive (1st Regiment), La Sagaie (2nd Regiment), La Flèche (3rd Regiment) and Le Bouclier (4th Regiment). There's also a commanding section for the brigade where we can find the brigade's General, the four Colonels, the four Lieutenant-Colonels and a security force called Task Force YIN-1 Alésia. Each regiment is organized into assault companies (from four to six depending on the regiment) with one or two support companies and a commanding sub-section based on brigade's commanding section template.
  • 1st Regiment6 infantry companies, 1 support company, TF YIN-1-1 Verduron
  • 2nd Regiment4 infantry companies (2nd The Goldishes, 3rd The Banshees), 1 support company, TF YIN-1-2 Etrun
  • 3rd Regiment5 infantry companies, 1 support company, TF YIN-1-3 Tronoën
  • 4th Regiment4 infantry companies, 2 support companies, TF YIN-1-4 Gavaudun
As you can see, each regiment is linked to a color and to a weapon that can be found on the shoulder insignia. Companies' insignia are composed of three parts: a color stripe with its regiment's color, a symbol that represents the role of the unit (a parachute for infantry or a wrench for support) and a way to indicate the company's tactical number (aurebesh numbers, roman numbers, etc). Task Forces' insignia are based on the same principle: a purple stripe, an aiguillette's symbol and Task Force's tactical number.

Combat Function:
– High-Orbit Insertion:
Usually, the Husars are parachuted behind enemies' front lines to cause big damages in their defenses. In Anaxsi tactic books, this type of operation is known as 'Hammer & Anvil' where the ground forces are the hammer and the paratroopers are the anvil that is supposed to support hammer's work.
– Coup De Main: The Firsts can also fight as lower-scale combat units and they know how to cut enemy supplies and provisions. This tactic is called after an ironic Old-Anaxsi expression because this supposes that you'll bring support to your opponent, whereas you're cutting him from it.
– Petty Warfare: Husars' squads can also be used harass enemy positions in order to destabilized their opponent every time, not just during the battle.

IV • STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
Strengths
Weaknesses
Air & Ground: Because of the high-orbit insertion tactics they used, the 1st Brigade is a very discreet but violent unit, used during battles to provide support to battalions in trouble or to destabilize enemies' defenses to allow more conventional and larger assault groups to end the work.Hotheaded Soldiers: Whereas the Firsts are good-trained soldiers, their veteran status among the GDF — and the Imperial Army — makes them proud of what they're, and sometimes too proud of that.
Sophists In Arms: If there was a time when the members of the brigade weren't trained and veteran soldiers, nowadays they're are among the best quick response units. They're also one of the only strike groups that can compete with Spec Ops in paratrooper's fields of action. As the Sophists, they are able to a fast answer to any attack, but their arms are rifles, not words. Not Our People: Most of the time, the Husars from the 1st Brigade think that they better know their jobs and what they have to do than anyone. This fact make them very unfriendly to most of the Imperials they can encounter. This lead to some misunderstanding among the Imperial ranks, but can also lead to a lack of cooperation during the campaigns.

V • HISTORICAL INFORMATION
MOSHED-2021-12-28-18-2-0.jpg

– IMPERIAL TIMES –
Lieutenant 'Sting' (IMPSOC) leading a special operation against the Galactic Allaiance on Anaxes.

Before all, in a time when House Haskler of Anaxes was still on Anaxes, there were only Anaxsi militias, occupying the functions of defense forces for families' territories. The soldiers were not really what we could call soldiers: they were trained by the Garde d'Azur, the official guard force of Anaxes, and they conducted guerrilla warfare or petty warfare. One of the greatest Anaxsi houses was Haskler's and his men where known on all the planet to be the bests among the bests, the cream of the crop. During the 50's, they carried special missions out, militias alongside militias against other militias, but no one could really take the upper hand on House Haskler of Anaxes.

Meanwhile, in a certain planetary sector, the Alliance arrived, taking Anaxes back and began to install a diplomatic force and, then, a government. Militias tried to take action against that and a lot of operations had been launched as a response to Alliance's actions, but nothing could be done about that. The Garde d'Azur refused to intervene in the conflict, because they weren't linked to that: they defended their territories, not the entire planet. Under the leadership of Julius Haskler, a large-scale task force (approximately 5,000 militiamen) was created and this newly-called General took the lead of this paramilitary unit. During a couple of months, he led operations against Alliance's Armed Forces and then Alliance's Spec Ops, but he quickly understood that it was impossible to beat GA from his homeworld without an external help.

Here came the Imperial Special Operations Command. With the support of Lieutenant 'Sting' from the Shadow Troopers Division, Haskler and his soldiers began to take the lead on the Alliance. The more they advanced, the more Alliance's forces moved back. Each day, the Imperial-Anaxsi took back new territories. As they were gaining momentum, Julius Haskler knew that they had to move to the next level.

– WAREN'S SONS –
Colonel A. Waren (StormCorps) leading a field training alongside Anaxsi militiamen.

After several months of fight against the Alliance, the Imperial-Anaxsi finally got their reinforcement from the New Imperial Order. A section of Scout troopers under the orders of the Colonel Waren came on Anaxes, but their mission wasn't to be a simple support: they had to train the Anaxsi in Imperial tactics and state of mind. The officer and his men were really involved in militiamen's training, to make them reliable and efficient soldiers. During six months, they had been trained by the cream of the crop of the Imperial Recon Division, still working alongside IMPSOC soldiers to complete their knowledge.

Unfortunately for them, during this time, the Alliance took a lot of villages that the militias had liberated before. But now, they could come back better than never, to beat the 'Allies' out of this planet. Three weeks later, Waren was called by StormCorps Command and had to leave his sons alone on Anaxes, but he was sure that they could take back Anaxes.

– WE CALL 'EM HUSARS –
Captain J. Yularen (Haskler's Husars) conducting a petty warfare operation in order to destabilize the Alliance.

From this moment, Julius Haskler took the decision to switch all the armors from white to black one. Reading old books about Anaxsi mechanized infantry tactics he decided to call his troops 'Husars'. From now, they were his Husars, fighting for him but, before all, for Anaxes. From this point, we saw the emergence of known-families like Yularen, Holt or Zann into the officers' ranks but also in the enlisted ones. Then, the Imperial-Anaxsi took the upper hand on the situation, not trying to take new cities but to attack the root of the problem.

To concord with their new objectives after the helpful formation by Waren, the Husars began to use 'Hammer And Anvil' tactics. Some soldiers were first trained to be paratroopers but, quickly, every infantryman was supposed to be parachuted from a dropship. Fortunately, Haskler's men were able to take advantage of Dalness Manufacturing & Shipbuilding's knowledge in order to be dropped on sore spots. Here, in blood and dust, the story of the Firsts had been written. Their legendary wrath was a virus that contaminated every Anaxsi. This was a patriotic virus. But soon, they would have to deal with the bulk of the Alliance's forces.

– THE LAST DANCE –

Former-Lieutenant N. Kelga'an (Haskler's Husars) during the coup-d'état on Anaxes.
Here came the last dance. After years of resistance alongside conventional units, the Imperial-Anaxsi were on the verge of taking back Anaxes. Julius Haskler was pretty sure that the Husars were about their last mission, their last battle, their last dance. Most of them would die in this operation, but they would be remembered for decades as those who liberated Anaxes from the Alliance. During five months, Haskler and his officers prepared a large-scale assault on GA's headquarters; this operation was known as Operation Husars' Flag. The Anaxsi would be divided into four task forces: Le Glaive, La Sagaie, La Flèche & Le Bouclier. These names would later be taken for the TodHusars' regiments names. After this consequent preparation to this last battle, the operation was launched, but the results were not what Haskler expected.

Operation Husars' Flag was a debacle. The Husars bumped into the Warhogs, one of the bests battalion among the Alliance's Spec Ops. To prevent any attack from the Imperial-Anaxsi, the 'Allies' had brought commandos on Anaxes' ground, transgressing the established planetary blocus. Whereas Husars' Command thought that there would be only a single regiment of Alliance's light-infantry, Haskler didn't expect anything like this. If the first hours of the battle were great for the Anaxsi, at the end of the day, the battle was lost, and as Allies' commandos were taking the upper hand on the ground, a subsequent fleet arrived on orbit and took the lead of the space battle.

This the Zero-Day of their exile. The Imperial-Anaxsi gathered on Yinchorr, under NIO's jurisdiction and here appeared the TodHusars, born of the ashes of their dead brothers.

« Ils ont eu tort de nous laisser la vie sauve ! Chaque Hussard qu'ils ont épargné sera un engrenage de plus dans la machine qui causera leur perte ! »

– WE'RE KNOWN AS THE FIRSTS –
Today, the TodHusars are an important part of the GDF, acting in several battles during the Third Imperial Civil War and later during the Second Great Hyperspace War and the Cold War against the Alliance. After the Battle of Anaxes, a lot of officer were upped to another rank and created modern units, such as the Banshees or the Goldishes.

Nukth Kelga'an Nukth Kelga'an I love love love the background and the detail you've created here! Makes for a very immersive read. However, there are two main things I wanna address before approval:

Permissions | All permissions should be either a DM/PM permission on the Discord/the board that gives perms to use the wanted subs OR they can be Marketplace purchases. If they are Marketplace purchases, the permission should link the exact post that gives you permission to use sub x, y, z rather than the shop itself. If a writer is no longer around the site and /or permission can't be obtained, their submissions cannot be used and should be replaced or removed. Please correct the links to your purchases/DMs in this section.
Equipment | With ratings of Mediumand Uncommon, this unit is able to use equipment rated as Minor and/or Mass-Produced.
Currently, the following items are above the allowed Minor or Mass-Produced Production rating of the unit's Equipment:
There are a few options here:
  1. Remove the Steelfist Jumpsuit and replace it with a Minor or Mass-Produced set of armor.
  2. Sub the Banshee Jumpsuit to Live Factory with a Minor or Mass-Produced Production value and adjust ratings as needed (This appears to just be within Pre-Factory, currently).
  3. Adjust Unit Size/Unit Availability to allow for Limited items.

Please don't hesitate to give me a tag if you have questions/concerns or once you've completed edits!

Thank ya! It seems that every links are okay for the permissions, except for Corondex, so 'am gonna fix that.

Also, how can I know if my unit is adjusted to use limited items? Is there an excel file to use? Or a calculation to do?

Nukth Kelga'an Nukth Kelga'an There is a table on the template. I'll toss it below for easy reference. For you, a combination of Medium and Rare (very few, difficult to replace, may have long training times) would allow you to use Limited Factory items for this unit.
