SYPNOSIS:
A fallen Jedi, turned a secretive and undercover Dark Lord of the Sith, lands in the tranquil home of the Jedi Order.
This enigmatic woman, brimming with secrets and consequence, wears the face and name of an expat living in the High Republic
following the demise of the Imperial Confederation.
But nothing seems right with this woman, and the Jedi can see right through her deception.
Or can they?
Elsewhere, a hero from the Jedi Order, full of foreboding and a yearning to protect
abandons his post to form a new movement in the High Republic
sacrificing what he loves and craves most
to fight the monsters and tyrants
who seek to take it all away from them.
The formation of the Vanguards comes at a time where the sinister Eleventh Sith Empire
stirs beyond anomaly of the Blackwall
as the Sith Covenant linger amid the conquered remnants of the Galactic Empire
each threatening to topple the last bastion of democracy along these Mid-systems.
The Dark Side of the Force permutates throughout the Force
evil is spreads everywhere
blinding the Jedi from seeing what is between truth and fiction
while the Vanguard toil in rebellion against injustice and stagnation
as the echoes of the Empire survive in the fog of Mahporeem.

CHAPTERS:
- I - Shiraya's Sanctuary
An unidentified flying object lands unexpectedly in Shiraya's Sanctuary: an enclave and the home of the Jedi Order. As it's passenger disembarks a Jedi Master called Connel Vanagor is disturbed during a lesson with Jedi Padawans and elects to greet the stranger on the off-chance that they are here to do harm to the Jedi. During their brief interaction the woman tells Vanagor to relax and that they have travelled to the enclave in order to reconnect with the Jedi Order beginning a three week long stay in the sanctuary as she waits to meet with members of the Jedi Council.
- II - Summon Your Council, I Have Secrets
Three weeks after landing in Shiraya's Sanctuary, the stranger (previously confronted by Master Vanagor) appears before members of the Jedi Council in order to host a summit regarding information that they possesse concerning the Trade Federation of Planet's, the Mandalorian Empire and their connections to the Sith Order. She identifies herself as Ella Nova: a former Knight of the Old Republic and a current-day Imperial expat who migrated to the Enarc system after the fall of the Imperial Confederation. (Disclaimer: Joy has since deleted the " Ella Nova " sub-account.)
CONTEXT:
A minor scandal in Theed exposes Nova who became a naturalized citizen of the High Republic during the last days of Aurelian Veruna 's interim Chancellorship. Veruna, who cut a discreet deal with
Her
who promised Imperial support to aide in defense of the High Republic against the looming threat of the Sith Order, expedites Nova's application to utilize the Naturalization and Repatriation Act that was proposed by Joa Sodi (Senator of Quarzite) and was then voted into law.
At the time that the N.R.A-Act was passed into law the High Republic was previously called the " Royal Naboo Republic ".
~
Before the summit begins, Jedi Grandmaster Ala Quin warns the other members of the Jedi Council that the woman they are meeting with is a suspected undercover Sith Lord.
CONTEXT:
Three years before the events of " Summon Your Council, I Have Secrets ", when Quin was a Jedi Knight (before the Order of Shiraya became the Jedi Order) Ala was involved in a personal investigation of a security subsidiary (Tarsai Vigil) that operates along the Five Veils Route. A missing ship (called the " Larkspur Crescent ") released a distress signal before it's disappearance thereby signifying foul play was involved.
Quin, who was led to believe that it was Tarsai who was responsible for the ship's disappearance, attempted to run an investigation into the organisation to try and find the Larkspur Crescent and it's missing crew (a family from Cerea by the surname of ' Juno ' ) but the investigation was scuppered by
Her
who prevented Ala from finding out whether or not Tarsai was involved.
In " Marked for Obstruction " , Quin called for a session by the Royal Assembly (now Republic Senate) where she requested for an official inquiry into Tarsai Vigil. The Senators attending this session voiced concern for the missing ship but disputed whether or not the security subsidiary in question were involved in it's disappearance. With no support Ala subsequently ends her investigation into Tarsai.
The Larkspur Crescent and the Juno Family (NPCs) have been missing since 902 ABY.
An official report released by the Tarsai Vigil explains their alleged findings and position regarding Ala Quin 's investigation.
During " The First Chancellor's Debate " a conversation between Ala Quin and
Her
leads Quin to form the opinion that the woman behind Tarsai Vigil (and the suspected disappearance of the Larkspur Crescent) is an undercover Sith Lord.
After the debate's conclusion, Tarsai Vigil releases a statement endorsing Senator Findos: the corporate candidate on the behalf of the Trade Federation of Planet's who sought to become the first High Chancellor of the High Republic. Findos is later beaten during the election by Kalantha . (Disclaimer: Credit Wizard has since deleted the Findos sub-account).

Her begins the summit by explaining to the Jedi Council about why she has come to Shiraya's Sanctuary and asked to meet with them. She explains two goals in mind for why she is here.
The first goal is to debrief the Jedi Council about a conspiracy that has been built to destroy the High Republic.
Her's second goal is to then re-join the Jedi Order.
During the beginning of the summit, Ala Quin questions
Her
by asking them about their aliases and false-identities. Nova admits to working under an alias with Taregh Garon : an Inquisitor who was assigned to hunt Jedi and Sith if they were found in the Imperial Confederation. Nova also alludes to the fact that Garon (and by implication the other members of the Inquisitorius) would have killed her if they knew that she used to be a Jedi. She also admits to lying about her identity to other high ranking Imperials such as Marlon Sularen and Karl Von Strauss .
Colette confronts Her about working with 'Jedi killers' and that it was 'peculiar' that she was seeking to bring information to the Jedi Council rather than through the official channels in the High Republic who could do something about the things that she has come to debrief them about. It is during this part of the summit that
Her
explains that the reason why she could not go to the Republic Senate, with the information that she has about the alleged conspiracy, is because of the Trade Federation of Planet's and their presence in Theed thereby alluding to a form of corruption due to their links to the Sith Order.
An astromech droid referred to as "Arr-two" begins to play recorded images, pictures and classified Imperial files. Her builds a case to the Jedi Council to prove that there is corruption in the Republic Senate alleging that the Sith Order has ties and connections to the Trade Federation of Planet's who previously fielded a candidate to become High Chancellor of the High Republic.
CONTEXT:
In " Blood and Sand " a spy working on behalf of the Empire of the Lost infiltrates an event that was hosted on Geonosis. It is called the Barahunde: a festival where people fight each other (or other creatures) to the death in a spectacle of blood-sports. The spy takes pictures of Lodd Grimmin : a former Minister for the Trade Federation of Planet's as he stands next to Darth Carnifex while they are watching the festival together in an arena where the Barahunde is taking place.
In " State of the Nation " the same spy infiltrates a war cabinet meeting which was hosted aboard the Mors Mon. In the meeting a delegate from the Trade Federation (called Lord Blepharon) exposes the existence of a double-agent that is working undercover in the Empire of the Lost in service to the Dark Empire. Blepharon suggests that the Sith Order leaks this information in order to cause damage to their rivals. (Disclaimer: Credit Wizard has since deleted the " Lord Blepharon " sub-account.)
In " The Obredaan Peel " a trade summit is hosted on board the Ayrix between House Mecetti, Drey, Salacia Consolidated and the Trade Federation to negotiate a business deal that would see shares Drey's Cortosis Mine split between all invitees. The presence of the Trade Federation's representative (Meii Nu-Suu) who was in attendance of the aforementioned trade summit is juxtaposed against images that were taken by Alicia Drey in " Watch the Throne " .
Her
speculates to the Jedi Council that Blepharon knew about Drey being a double-agent because Meii Nu-Suu told him about it. (Disclaimer: Joy and Credit Wizard have both since deleted the " Alicia Drey " and " Meii-Nu Suu" sub-accounts).
Alicia Drey's exposure as a double-agent by the Trade Federation during " State of the Nation " leads to Darth Empyrean declaring war on the Empire of the Lost. In the aftermath of the Sith Order's invasion of the Tion system, Darth Carnifex destroys Tion through the use of Base Delta Zero. (cc. " Fate of Tion " )
A letter written by Rulonom Laborr (the former Viceroy of the Trade Federation) to the Empire of the Lost describes a trade embargo placed upon them by the Trade Federation after war is declared by the Sith Order on the Empire of the Lost. (cc. " A Letter to the EOTL " )

After "Arr-two" finishes displaying
Her
's evidence to the Jedi Council, she summarizes that she cannot trust the Republic Senate with information alleging a conspiracy to destroy the High Republic due to the presence of the Trade Federation as they are still working in Theed, citing that several of their members have been discovered working alongside 'institutions' and 'governments' that were 'ultimately responsible' for the demise of the Galactic Alliance and the destruction of the New Jedi Order. It is implied that they are still working with those same people to achieve the same outcome against the High Republic and the Jedi Order.
When Colette asks further questions about the Inquisitorius and what
Her
did for them she explains that a formerly clandestine group was formed in the Imperial Confederation that was called Project Tion. It was the goal of this group to facilitate the end of the Sith Order's control of the Thandon Star Cluster. Taregh Garon was recruited into Project Tion to help facilitate this goal as a trained Sith killer.
Lily Decoria interjects asking why
Her
never presented this information to the Galactic Alliance, or to the New Jedi Order, before they were destroyed suggesting that it could have prevented their demise. Decoria also requests evidence as to whether or not that the Trade Federation is still currently working with the Sith Order or Darth Carnifex as well as any other evidence proving that current members of the Republic Senate are also working against the enemies of the High Republic. It is clarified by Decoria that the evidence Her has brought to the Jedi Council is outdated at this point in time. A final question asks whether
Her
would leave the Jedi Order again if another Imperial force, or if a Sith force was formed to fight Darth Carnifex with the worry that Her could divulge Jedi secrets to them.
Her
responds to Decoria's questions elaborating that she gave a warning to Valery Noble (the former Grandmaster of the N.J.O) about the Trade Federation but Noble did not take her warnings seriously. Her admits that the reason for this was because Noble did not trust Her for the same reasons that the Jedi Council were distrustful of and that they each suspected that Her had ulterior motives for sharing this information.
When Her answers Decoria's question about the Trade Federation and any current-day evidence that would prove that they are still working with the Sith Order, Her explains that she does not have anything else to share, but double-downs on the evidence that she has already shown, and implies that the Trade Federation needs to be investigated by the Jedi Council in order to find out whether or not their links to the Sith Order are true.
Her then pivots the summit towards allegations about the Mandalorian Empire also having links, associations and ties to the Sith Order. She alleges that the Mandalorian's have contracts allowing them to work on the behalf of the Sith as mercenaries for hire and also alludes to the coronation of Quinn Varanin as the Queen of Eshan: a planet that was conquered by the Mandalorian Empire. Unlike the Trade Federation, where she shared circumstantial evidence of their connection to the Sith, Her does not prove that are any actual substantial links between the Sith Order and the Mandalorian Empire despite her allusions to the contrary.
After listening to Her's demonstration, Ala Quin acknowledges what Her is trying to prove, but explains that neither she nor the Jedi can take what Her has said at face value. Quin asserts that, until Her's claims can be proven or disproven by the Jedi Order, that they will take Her into their custody and that they guide her back to the path of a Jedi under their supervision. Sela Basran , another Jedi Councillor, explains to the council that there ought to be a way to verify the information Her has given to them, and that despite the allegation that the Republic Senate has been corrupted by the Trade Federation, that the Jedi ought to report this to them as well.
Colette agrees with Basran and Quin while confronting the suspicious ulterior motives that each of the Jedi feel that
Her
is hiding from them. She asks Her if she expected to be forgiven, and if she genuinely expected to be allowed to return to the Jedi Order. Her retorts that she doesn't care about being forgiven by the Jedi and that they were hypocrites for questioning her former connections to the Inquisitorius citing that it was the Imperial Confederation who helped to stop the Galactic Empire detonating the third Death Star during the Battle of Atrisia. Her then draws a Lightsaber, with the intent to kill Ala Quin , but the rest of the council stop her by talking her out of it.
Her is then incarcerated in Shiraya's Sanctuary under the suspicion that she is a Sith Lord and that at least one of her ulterior motives was to kill the Ala Quin .
