I saw your face when I looked at mine.
You were a grim reflection of my hopes.
A dream I never got.
You had all that I never could.
A reminder of everything I could have been.
Every chance to be something better.
Something Greater then me.
But in the end you just became me all over again.
You learned everyone abandons you.
You learned they all blame you.
You learned they all forget you.
You learned the most important lesson.
But it was to Late for you.
Now I will destroy them for you.
The small woman sat out on the open plains of Rhand, staring upward towards the sky as the sun started to peak over the horizon. A slight breeze brushed through the green and gold brown hued grass around her. She took in the fresh air like it was the first breath she had taken in a hundred years.
For a moment Tegan felt peace, she was complete once more. She didn't know how or why, she didn't even question it. She had awoken from the womb of the world she claimed long ago, reborn once more. Reborn into a reality she despised, one she sought to end at any cost. That cost had already been great; she had sacrificed herself so many times to just barely move the needle.
Her thoughts then went to the moment before she awoke here. To Abregado-rae, when she had evoked the names of the God's and that which came before even them. She hadn't felt power in the moment she looked into the heavens and invoked their names. She had felt release, a moment of recognition that she had never felt.
She remembered calling on them, that moment of release and then it all faded. Then she was here back to the world she had claimed with her own soul. The memories of Tamsin Starfall and all the power she gained through Darth Anathemous teachings, still with in her. If she had that, then surely the girl would be dead.
A bit of a pity as Tegan hoped to drain the life out of the poor imitation of her when it came to the end game she had been manipulating. Not getting to see the life drain from the girl's body, would definitely be a regret she would hold unto for a moment. As she thought on her loss, she then lifted her hand towards the sun rising on the horizon and raised it up.
She stared at the pale skin of her freshly formed hand. It was great to be back, even if it didn't go exactly as planned. A wicked little smirk crossed the Psycho Witch'ari's face and her orange eyes flared vibrantly. What was next, it didn't matter she had all the time in the universe. Only thing that was for certain was the whole Galaxy was going to suffer.
