Elian arrived back home in good fashion that evening. The events of the day hadn't taken up much of his time. He had gained a new friend and also found himself in a very precarious situation. Luckily, he had avoided the aftereffects altogether, or so he thought until he arrived home that evening.
Elian moved through the double doors, a little more high-strung today. He was proud that he had been able to get the generator up and running for the Enclave, Temple, or whatever it was those Jedi called it. Doing that sort of work was what made him happy. He really needed to get with the family soon and discuss further plans that he had cooked up in his mind. It seemed everyone was already in the dining room for dinner. Elian moved into the kitchen, getting himself a glass of water. Caleb was there, prepping what looked to be dessert for later.
"Caleb, my man!" He clasped him on the shoulder as he moved by him.
"Master Elian, welcome home. I hope your day wasn't filled with too much adventure, and good luck as well!" Caleb voiced with a hint of mischief and a smirk that followed.
Elian looked back at him with a smile and a look of confusion before walking into the dining room.
"Lovely family! Sorry I'm late!" Elian moved around the table, giving his dad a hug, then his mother and Sibylla a kiss on the cheek before he sat down.
"Not to worry. I'm sure your day was filled with adventure," Alistair voiced with the smallest of smiles as he took a drink from the glass to his left.
"How was your day?" his mother then asked, lightly clasping her hands together. A smile was alight on her face as well. Elian chuckled, quite pleased with himself. "Things went well. If it wasn't for me, the Jedi would still be in the dark. All alone, scared, frightened..." Elian finished the last remark in a teasing way. He quickly shook his head. "It was a good day, though."
He started to eat his food. It was a rather good spread today, he had to admit.
"This is great!"
"So, do you need anything? Supplies, or clothe, maybe towels?"
Elian's food caught in his throat for a moment. He coughed hard before the food finally went down.
"W-What do you mean?" Elian laughed nervously. "Why would I need new clothes, or...towels?" Elian inquired as he looked between the two of them, casting a glance toward Sibylla before looking back at his parents.
"Caleb..." Alistair voiced sternly, but there was a slight humor in his tone.
Caleb moved in, dropping a datapad that had a picture of Elian walking next to Sophelia, towel and all. Caleb scrolled once, then twice, showing more pictures of them going inside his ship, then coming out. And, of course, she was wearing his clothes.
"News travels fast, Master Elian. You've been nicked, my young friend."
Elian looked at the pictures on the datapad, then back up at his family several times. He laughed, shaking his head as he began to speak. "No, this is fabrication, alteration and whatever other word you can use. You know how people are nowadays. Artificial intelligence and everything else you can name. Someone's trying to make House Abrantes look bad by using such altered images, I-I-I swear!"
Elian laughed nervously again, using the napkin to wipe his brow. He ignored the smug looks on his parents' faces as they awaited a response. "Well, you see, I was always taught that if someone was in trouble..." He gave a quick glance over to Sibylla, noticing the sisterly smile on her face as she stared back at him with that look she gave him so often.
"Okay, I can explain this!" Elian voiced as he held up the datapad, pointing to it with his other hand.
