"What did you send?"

"Who did you send it to?"

"I've got all day for this."

Questions. Repeated over and over, he wasn't sure for how long. But in between each question, there was always a smart-ass response. And in between each question, there was a punch to the face, ribs, and other places that caused quite a bit of pain. In reaction to this, he opted for something more personal this round of questions.

"Who did you send it to?"

Cassian laughed, not a chuckle, but a true laugh. Probably his first one since he had been here. It was only a matter of time. He had time to think, plot, and watch. When you were locked in a steel cage for twenty-four hours a day, you had nothing to do but think. The message was just the beginning. That was the true signal. Not to Sibylla, but to everyone else.

The events that transpired that day set off a chain reaction across the complex. Riots were happening daily. They were losing control. At this point, Cassian soon learned what people were put here for. They were put here to keep quiet, or they were put here by others who wanted them quiet. In other words, the good people trying to do good were put in here. As a lesson that there was no good in this galaxy, and if you tried to do so, you would be punished for it.

"I sent it to your mother," Cassian spoke easily, his words laced with humor and a smile on his face.

Another punch came. He spat out the blood that came from that and the previous attacks.

"I... uh... I sent it to your mother, so she could prepare for our nice evening together."

That brought another punch. And did it hurt? His face was partially numb at this point, so yes and no. He started laughing again as he looked at the guard's face. There were several shouts from outside. Yells that, to them, would seem like nothing more than the usual unrest. To the eldest Abrantes, it was a signal. He bit his lip to keep from laughing anymore.

"Okay, you think this is so funny."

The officer reached for a small knife, pulling it across Cassian's cheek. The wound cut deep as Cassian looked back up at the guard, who seemed very pleased with himself. All the while, Cassian could feel his hand begin to shift against the cuffs around his wrists.

"It doesn't matter what you do to me. Because I'm going to kill you and everyone else in this place."

Supposedly, that was funny, because the officer started to laugh. The final slip happened.

Cassian pulled his hand around, the cuff smacking the officer in the face, and his knife fell to the ground. Cassian reacted with terrifying quickness. In one fluid motion, he dropped down, grabbed the knife, and jammed it several times into the officer's chest before one final drive into his neck. He threw him to the ground.

He reached for his keycard, scanning it across the door. More came, but they were soon ambushed by other individuals who were 'help' that worked to keep the range clean. Cassian moved down, toward the small control center, scanning the card and letting himself in. Those who were in the room were all taken down with deadly precision. Solid hits landed, and the safifsying snap of the neck.

Cassian tapped the emergency release. Down the range, doors began to open, and the actual riot was beginning.

"Liberation! It's yours! Take it!"

There was an echo of shouts and praises as they stormed down the range, spreading toward every location possible. It was too late for the guards to recover, because this was now happening in every other wing of the facility.

Finally...
