Your Character’s Ending

In the very first conversation I and Bastila Sal-Soren had when we created the Sal-Sorens...we planned Brandyn's death.

Ciri has been one I've thought of a few times. I figure she'd eventually be killed and forgotten in some back alley in the on Nar Shaddaa or fall in a battle on a world she genuinely had no business being on other than for whoever she is working with at the time. Never pictured a happy ending for the kid who grew up in the underworld.

 

[Scherezade deWinter]

I have a general idea of what I'd like to see happening to Scherezade when it's time to switch to the next main character, but nothing it set in stone and I'm looking forward to her being challenged in RP (not just combat).

 

[Quinn Varanin]

Definitely by assassination for running her mouth to the wrong person.

 

[Astride Velvet]

A happy end with a good campfire, beer and a peacufull rest for astride velvet, when she day off she chill close to fire.

B. Dead at the hands of someone I think deserves it. Someone who is easy to work with, but deserves the street cred. I'm an old school wrestling fan, and firmly believe that the old should help prop up the new.

They die in the movies. Han Solo, Obi-Wan, Darth Vader, they all die, their character arcs end.

This is how and why I would kill off one of my characters. I also like realism. I will use two characters I have killed off as examples.

I killed off Sieliel Dimegor because I thought it was the most realistic outcome for her character arc. She participated in a conspiracy that got an entire Empire to collapse, and then she got caught for it, and then (worse than all of that) she told the people who caught her things that they ought not to know about the others involved. Koda Fett is the best bounty hunter on the board, no question, and a bounty hunter can't be the best without any registered kills.

When I killed off Alicia Drey it was also because she got caught, and the Sith (who killed her) needed her to be quiet before she put them into further jeopardy. That also made sense, and out of her death, I made up the character Her and brought back Darth Ayra , so it all worked out nicely and I got to tell some fantastic stories ever since.

 

[Isobel Serraris]

It is way too early to say or speculate about this yet, but admittedly it is one of my favourite things to ponder on with ocs.

I want Isobel to die in tragedy after/in a battle, she is an idealist so having that sense of heroes-always-win mentality be broken down is just brilliant. (Besides I love writing sad scenes)

Though, she is only a Padawan, her journey has just begun. We’ll see what happens. . .

 

[Jand Talo]

I think Jand dying to protect or defend is about right.

Or, to break the cliche of living by the sword and dying by the sword, maybe he'll just die of old age living among his Nagai community (after he hangs up his lightsabers).

Undecided, I think he's still got some legs, so I'm in no hurry to off him.

 

[John Locke]

Eventually John will retire and open up a mechanics shop in a town or city somewhere, just retire and go back to his roots fixing things and letting someone else care about the corporate world. He'll show up for board meetings, make sure things are going well then go back to fixing some kids pet droid.

 

[Imperius Indomitus]

I would love to see Imperius die as a real villain killed by a real hero. Classic lawful good vs true evil scenario. Making it more tragic as his ultimate enemy is actually nobody, no physical foe, but the Force itself.

Far too attached to the character somehow though for the time being.

 

[Acier Moonbound]

I can see Ace dying in battle at an older age. Maybe after settling down and raising a family (bro deserves it)
Then the ‘coming out of retirement for one last fight’ trope

 

[Zefgahld Qojex]

Never given it much thought for my good-aligned characters, other then the Neimoidian, who’s supposed to retire happily somewhere amongst the Duros. Preferably without even dying once!

My villains I want all to die in despair knowing full well that they lost, or else in shock, disbelief and pain, while not suspecting that they’re about to die.

Those types are both classics for villains!

 

[Siobhan Kerrigan]

I killed off Siobhan. I did my best to make it humiliating because the narcissistic egomaniac deserved it.

It was fun.

 

[Kelon Amadis]

Kelon died in a unique way. We had a battle through Keth's tomb, and after the writer beat all the challenge rooms, judgement demanded he pick one of the alts I used to kill for him to gain Krayt's armor. It was completely his choice. He also tried murdering judgement also, which was an interesting twist!

 

[Niaana Ren]

I'll not go through all my alts deaths but as it ties in:

Died on an assassination mission killed for her failure, by Judgement!

But she was one of the few that actually got free from the Keth siblings' spirit collection

I liked writing Niaana, who was completely bonkers. Of the characters i've lost she was my second favorite after my Starbuck alt.

 

[Tamsin Starfall]

Kind of there is a chance for Tamsin's death when her Demon grows to full power. It ends one of three ways Tamsin dies and Tegan Starfall is reborn into this existence, Tegan dies and Tamsin lives happily ever after, or the third option Tamsin and Tegan meld together and become one person (effectively killing both kind off).

How and when this story reaches its conclusion is anyone's guess and there are people who want certain outcomes that know of the story I want to tell.
