You Hear That Noise? It's Happiness. (Beth)

Adara was cuddled up by her beloved sister [member="Beth Cadera"], and Alky was right once again. Snuggling Beth and her dolly lit her up. Eyes shining and bright, Adara pushed up to kiss her sister’s cheek.

Ram’ika cathumped over, getting down on all fours with his water gun strapped with shoelaces to his back. He thunk thunk thunked toward his sisters, water sloshing in the barrel.

He was gonna get them! Sneaky sneaky good!

Girak chuckled and the air around him shimmered with a weak protective layer to halt the water before it hit his slumbering granddaughter. Yasha slept on, a serene express on the otherwise severe face.

Adara set her dolly down, and put the couch pillow over it as a shield. With the serious face only a child could muster, Adara frowned. She nodded to Bethy, and raised her fists. Looking to her slumbering mother, Adara knew what she needed to do.

“Let’s get him.” Little Adara poured and nodded... then taking Bethy’s hand, yelled “Befthy, CHAAAARGE!!!”

Ram’ika yelped and yanked his gun down, “Aaaahhh!!! I’m under attack!! Pew pew pew pew!!!”

Water rained upon the girls. Adara jumped off the couch to pounce on her brother from above.

Beth beamed at her little sister. She didn’t really understand what had happened or if it was permanent.

But… It didn’t matter either way. Adara would be her little sister, someone she loved so much, no matter what eye color or natural disposition to the Force she had. None of that mattered because Adara was good, sweet, adorable, and so so smart.

She’d be okay.

Then, the water began to pour on them from their little brother, who was just a little hyperactive regular boy. Luckily, Papa kept them safe and not wet.

Beth looked to Adara right after she hid her doll. Beth took a breath – to hide the laughter from the cutest frown in the entire galaxy. Beth nodded back.

Beth squeezed Adara’s hand. “CHARRRRGE!”

Adara went the high route, jumping down to pounce him. Beth went low – like well-trained soldiers, they’d get him! Beth grabbed at his legs – careful to make sure he wouldn’t trip but enough so he couldn’t get away as Adara toppled onto of him.
Muahahahahaha!”

“Pew pew pew! I’s under attack!” Ram’ika Australis was as good as his name, firing under devastating odds. The water splish splashed around the room. Tamar glanced from her vantage point at one of the living room’s entrances. A smile of her own dressed the Panathan-born Mandalorian convert’s face.

If Tamar had done what Aiya tried… if she answered the screams in her mind, her Sith programming, Adara wouldn’t be romping around with her siblings. The girl would be under the tutelage of the Dark Lord, and his uncle the Shadow Hand.

Adara would become the most dangerous of weapons, a force beyond nature. Future destroyer of galactic proportions. Her victories would be the Emperor’s. Her desires would be released, Kaine’s blood in her veins.

Tamar and Girak locked eyes, the Panathan sire watching Tamar closely. The Dark would not prevail. Adara giggled, tackling her little brother and trying to take the gun.

“Oh nooooooo!!! Send in the Vevut Vod!” Ram flopped to the ground, rolling in an attempt to get his sister [member="Beth Cadera"] to let go. He wriggled and writhed like only an almost-four year old could.

“Never surrendeeeeerrrr!” Quickly turned to giggles as Ram’ika was assaulted by Adaras tickles. “Cookies, I know where the cookies! Eeeeheheheheheeeeeheheheheheeee!!! I give cookies for no tickles!”

Under attack by the two most powerful girls in the galaxy, Ram’ika!” She teased playfully with Ram, half of her seemingly soaking wet. Sheesh, Beth really didn’t realize how much water could come out of those suckers…

Beth missed Tamar’s look – she was too busy watching [member=Adara Raxis] Adara’s attack!

The young boy was rolling in some desperate attempt to escape Beth’s hands – and her sister, who was practically on top of him now. “Quick, get the guns Adara!” She said while she laughed, her cheeks red from the constant laugh.

Vevut cant’ help you now, Ram’ika!” She would say as she began to tickle him along with Adara.

Then, though, he begged for a treaty – “Should we accept?” She asked Adara, with a bright big smile. She’d leave it up to the younger sibling to determine if it was a fair exchange.

This… These moments were what made up all good in any galaxy. The special, loving moments between family. The laughter, the tired and sleepy mom, the loving Grandfather, the nanny who had become part of the family… This is what made life worth it.
