You Gotta Know When to Hold Them

Phantom Zone Casino and Resort - The Resort Pool

Holly was finally on vacation... and it was driving her nuts. There was a reason the woman never stopped working. She didn’t have a real life outside of work, so while other people went to resorts and parties Holly just usually stayed at the office. But even her boss would only put up with it so long. Apparently stressed out overworked employees were bad for business.

So here she was, at the pool sunbathing in a pool chair when she should have been at work. Nothing interesting ever happened at the pool!

Did it?

“Are you sure nobody by that description has checked in recently?”

“I am sorry Master Hinata but our records show nothing. I am afraid you are mistaken. There are no criminals here.”

Thea sighed and walked away from the desk. The attendant was either lying or incredibly naive about the kinds of things that go on at a casino. The Jedi picked up her com link and called her team.

“Well she claims Javis isn’t here but all our intel says this is where that laced spice was sold from. Someone here knows more than they are letting on.”

- Walking into the large entrance of the Casino a group of men entered wearing suites and ties with thin tented glasses. In front of them was a Tactical Droid along with a tall Cyborg that wore a fancy suit and constantly surveying eying the crowed. The Cyborg was Jaster Awaud, CEO of United Trade Conglomerate, the second largest transport company in the galaxy. That was what everyone knew him as if they new him, what everyone didnt know was that he was also leader of a major smuggling operation. Jaster had noticed Evanthea Hinata as he walked through the front door and the individual just exuberated the energy of a Cop and a faint aura of a Force User. He knew that he could not be assosiated with this anymore.

- Jaster leaned over to the droid and spoke in a low voice, "Bring the good through the back and meet with the customer to confirm the transaction." He nodded over to the casino. "Message me when your done I am going to enjoy the tables."

- The droid nodded with a faceless expression and gestured to the four gaurds escorting a Rodian holding a suitcase. Jaster watched them walk over to the lobby lift and the Rodian looking a little scared. He should be, they were about to confirm the delivery of Sixteen Creates of premium Spice from Kessel. It was hell and back to get some of those creates past the Bryn but the gentlemen upstairs were paying double asking price, 3 million credits. He knew it was worth the risk, even the three dead smugglers to get it. That was Jasters business, procurement of fine items to pleasure the rich and powerful. His company had trade rights with the Silver Jedi, so his ships were rarely inspected and when they were they were wealthy enough to pay the dock hands. This Casino alone boosted the 'Bonuses' of hundreds of dock works and officers. Even with all the palms greased on this godforsaken greasy rock, Jaster was making a massive profit.

- He watched the droid and guards enter the lift, pushing the Rodian in as well. That was Richard, some local accountant that belonged to the Gentleman up stairs. Jaster did not like the possibility of being screwed, so he brought the man that hid his clients money. A gun goes off and hundred of his off planet accounts go frozen and Jaster can kill him later.

- The man looked over to the Chip Exchange near the front desk. "200,000 in chips please." Jaster transfered the credits over and got the chips in exchange. He was off to look like he was having fun and not worry of a gun fight erupting upstairs now that the head honcho was not there.

Jane walked or more accurately strutted her stuff like a model on a cat walk. Wearing a two piece that had men drooling she had finally gotten a break from her companies and her modeling career hoping to relax for a while. She walked up to an empty chair that someone was sitting next to the model and entrepreneur looked at holly starstorm " is this chair taken" she asked as they where getting looks from around the pool area or atleast she was. The sith was notoriously hard to get an interview with and most people stopped trying but she was feeling generous having spent the night in the best suite the planet had to offer and was hoping to get a tan.
