While many Legionnaires loved the Dells Fighting Knife that they were originally issued with some began to express some doubts about the knife if it was engaged in up closed, brutal hand to hand combat. With this in mind Noah himself began work on developing a newer, sturdier knife for them to use. Taking the Legion Combat and Utility Knife Mk I as a base he used the same materials, except plating the blade in Phrik, stretched the blade length and added in a few features to create the knife.
The knife itself is made in a drop forge method, meaning that it is one single piece of Duranium leading to a higher amount of durability to the blade. An ultrasonic vibration generator gives the knife an immense amount of cutting potential, particularly against flesh. A serrated reverse edge gives the user the ability to saw through things, including possibly organic material. Spikes brazed on the knife's knuckle guard to give it a deadly edge even when the blade isn't in use. A pommel spike was added to give the ability to deliver a quick, incapacitating strike with the knifes pommel. A blood notch at the base of the blade prevents blood from rolling down the blade and onto the hilt. A self-sharpening sheath prevents the blade from becoming dull by sharpening it each time its drawn. Lastly the hilt is wrapped in textured Corellian leather from both a better grip and some style.
The last thing Noah needed to do was give the knife a name. Thinking about it the knife reminded him very much of his wife's
