OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Religion Name: Kaor Wukong
  • Religion Type: Force based
  • Influence: Planetary
  • Influence Area: The Xianlong region of Atrisia within the massive mountain ranges and monasteries. Their relationship with the rest of Atrisia is seen as positive; they are treated as more personal Yovshin Swordsmen elite warriors who will protect them and mediate disputes but are not solely bound to ensuring the Emperor's influence. They are able to disagree and are expected to be neutral and non-bias in arguments.
  • Symbol: Emblem
  • Description: Remnants of Atrisia's Jedi temple were cast out after the attack, finding refuge in the Agora mountains. They formed a new temple in isolation among five peaks resembling a hand rising from the earth. The Wukong order was eventually discovered by Jedi Princess Junko. Formed like a traditional order, it has heavily adopted Atrisin designations and philosophy into the basic Jedi Code, emphasizing flow, courage, and protective discipline.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Founder: Tripitaka Wukong (possibly Fang Min)
  • Membership: Be force sensitive, serve the lightside of the force and be atrisian
  • Sacred:
    • Jar'kai Sabers: Designed as interlocking lightsabers able to shift seamlessly from a staff (defensive/flow) to dual blades (decisive/lethal). They physically embody the Wukong's commitment to flexibility and their "Like Water" philosophy.
    • Majokoi Dragons: The sacred, semi-sentient, and Force-attuned dragons of the Agora mountains. Bonding with one is the highest spiritual honor and creates a permanent, deep mental connection.
  • Dogma:
    • The Jedi Code: The Wukong's disciplined adherence to the code is reinforced by the following core philosophies:
      • Emotion, yet peace. (Serenity in the Storm)
      • Ignorance, yet knowledge. (The Student's Path)
      • Passion, yet harmony. (The Dragon's Heart)
      • Chaos, yet order. (The Unyielding Mountain)
      • Death, yet the Force. (The Eternal Cycle)
    • Philosophies:
      • Like Water: "One must be like water in their mind. Water never waits. It changes shape and flows around things, and finds the secret paths no one else has thought about -- the tiny hole through the roof or the bottom of the box. There's no doubt it's the most versatile of the five elements. Nothing is softer than water yet it can overcome earth; it can put out fire; it can wear a piece of metal down and sweep it away. Even wood, which is its natural complement, can't survive without being nurtured by water. We do not fight. It flows around the problem, formless and work to resolve it at first without killing."
        • The Wukong are meant to be free to act as needed, able to listen and not take a side, determining judgment even if it means they must shift and change their approach. This philosophy guides their mastery of the adaptable Jar'kai Saber.
      • The Spirit of the Wind:
        • "The dragon is the wind, and we are the sail. A good rider does not command the wind, but learns where it guides them.
          • An elevated extension of Like Water, this tenet guides the Majokai Dragon Riders. It teaches the surrender of rigid will to the raw, untamed flow of the Force as channeled through the dragon's instinct.
      • Teachers: "The man who honors his teacher honors himself."
        • The lessons of their masters are drilled, taught and given to each student of the Wukong. The work that they do, the lives that they live, the people they have met. Everything has value and every lesson is something that shapes the Wukong themselves.
    • The Yovshin: Regarded by the Wukong with high honor and status. Most of the first class of Wukong were taken from the ranks of the Yovshin for their discipline and code of honor. Then adapting it to teach with the principles of the lightside of the force.
      • Protection: "One must understand something. If you fight and should lose, not only does your future end, but also the future of the one you are trying to protect. Defeat isn't an option for the sword that protects others. You should keep that thought engraved in your heart."
        • This is the directive that, while non-lethal resolution is primary, the Wukong must be absolutely decisive when a threat requires it. It mandates a mastery of Force Deflection and Barrier to protect life above all else.
      • Courage: "You can die anytime, but living takes true courage."
        • The primary goal is to promote life from their own people to their enemies. If there is a way to not kill an opponent, the Wukong are compelled to find it.
    • The Emperor/Empress: The highest authority in the physical realm. While the Wukong serve the Light Side of the Force, the Emperor/Empress is the viewed embodiment of it. If the ruler becomes corrupted by the dark side, it is the Wukong's duty to save them or stop them.
    • 500 Days: The initial training period for young Wukong. At the end, if they show ability, they are welcomed. If they fail, they are allowed to remain as temple staff, continuing to learn and assist the order.
  • Reputation: After twenty years, the Wukong are trusted by the people. They are renowned for their ability to remain neutral and render fair and reasonable judgments in disputes. They do not take Force-sensitive children by force, but respectfully ask to be called upon to help control their powers a direct measure to overcome the dark legacy of the past Atrisian Inquisition.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Kaor Wukong were born from tragedy and subsequent rediscovery. In the turbulent aftermath of the Netherworld crisis and the destruction of the Atrisian Jedi Temple, a small remnant of Jedi and Force-sensitive survivors, led by the visionary Master Tripitaka Wukong, fled into the remote and treacherous Agora Mountains. There, they stumbled upon the ruins of an ancient, pre-Imperial monastery a vast structure built by the legendary folk of Chitei and formed around five peaks that resembled a "Celestial Hand" rising from the earth. This sacred locale was not just a sanctuary; it became the spiritual foundation of their new order.

For years, the Wukong lived in isolation, dedicated to rebuilding the temple, which was created by the ancestors of the Atrisian people. They meticulously blended fundamental Jedi teachings with the scrolls of indigenous Atrisian philosophy they uncovered. Their existence remained a secret until the Jedi Princess Junko, guided by whispers from the Chitei underground itself, rediscovered them. Under her patronage, the order was formally recognized and named "Wukong" the Awakened Void symbolizing an enlightenment born from emptiness and loss. In these early years, the first class of Wukong was built from a successful blend of former Jedi teachers and the disciplined, high-honor ranks of the Yovshin Swordsmen, whose martial code proved a fertile ground for the Light Side principles. Masters immediately began spreading influence by tending to the spiritual scars of Atrisia, sending the most powerful among them to the Great Wall to contain the lingering dark side nexus and reaching out to the Atrisian underground to find new Force-sensitives.

The Wukong order matured rapidly as Atrisia entered the transformative Jishi Era of massive reforms, industrialization, and the construction of the Anshin megastructure. The Wukong embraced the age of progress, using new technologies like airships and shuttles for rapid deployment across the planet and up to the orbiting structure. They served a vital role during this time as neutral mediators and spiritual guides while the Sunflower Emperor and Cherry Wine Empress united the continents. A pivotal spiritual moment in their history was the discovery and subsequent integration of the Majokai Dragons, majestic, serpentine creatures native to the highest, most isolated peaks of the Agora. Ancient texts spoke of a bond between the dragons and the "sky-sages" of old. Through patience and deep meditation on the Living Force, the Wukong rekindled this ancient partnership, transforming their mobility and symbolically tying the order directly to the raw, indigenous Force power of the mountains.

After two decades, the Kaor Wukong are an established and integral part of Atrisian society. Their access to supportive ancient clans provides shelter, and their use of modern air travel allows them to deploy as trusted arbiters. They are recognized not only as warriors but as scholars who study the Force, artists who express its beauty, and mediators renowned for their neutrality and fairness. The order is constantly refining its philosophies, and the integration of the Majokai Dragons the pinnacle of their spiritual commitment marks their coming of age. The Wukong stand ready, armed with the adaptability of their Jar'kai Sabers and guided by the philosophical flow of water, to act as an unbreakable wall against the darkness when all other options for peace have failed.

The battle of Atrisia saw them begin and able to utalize their numbers and mobilization efforts. With the people of the city able to fight and hold out as the Wukong used their time. THey could bring the full force of their lightside beasts. Fang Min sent who she could to protect the city as the portions of the armies camein and marched from the wall. They were able to do much more as the smart towers, solace devices and someone using battle meditation fueled the lightside itself. Allowing them to do much more as the Agora would be able to defend and improve their numbers of the years. With more being sent out to aid on the other worlds that had been affected by the approaching ships.

Need proper image credit for the pic. Wikipedia does not suffice here, as the image does not show there and we need a clear idea where the image is from.

To keep things simple, I'd recommend simply linking the movie's web site or IMDB, if the search for an original source link proves difficult.

Please hyperlink Atrisia.

Since new readers or those not too familiar with Atrisian lore might not know what a Yovshin is, I'd recommend linking their Wookieepedia page.

Also please add the Permission field in Out-Of-Character Information. It's a recent addition to the template. Since you're not using anything that would require permission, you can just put 'N/A'.
