LFG Writers | Jedi Characters

[Kas Larsen]

Hey, it has been a little while since I done one of these threads. I've tried to sum up what I'd like to do with other Writers and their Characters in various threads.

Kas Larsen

• A master/mentor, Kas is going down the route of a Jedi Sentinel; unsure if that'd lead him into a Jedi Shadow classification.
• Lessons/training from other Jedi in Lightsaber Combat Forms.
• Lessons/training in using Force abilities that'd suit a Jedi Sentinel-Shadow.
• Being trained in defending against Darkside Force abilities.
• Companions, friends, rivals/enemies, a partner for him. A romance relationship (not to sound creepy or such).
• Kas does have a twin sister Seri and a younger brother Caden. Currently NPC's but would be open and welcomed if Writers would like to take them up as characters.

Tyron Khan

- Lessons/training from Jedi Guardians.

• Lessons/training in Combat.
• Companions, friends, allies, rivals/enemies.
• Training against the Darkside Force abilities.

I am quite active on here more-or-less now. I do get anxious, nervous more towards writing to be fair on others and give those involved enjoyment in reading, responding to posts. I am approachable on Discord or even dropping me a DM on the site I will answer, etc. Any replies for ideas and suggestions in this thread I'll respond to those who show and take interest.

I know with Tyron he should be covering all of the Lightsaber Combat Forms and more since he is going down the path of a Jedi Guardian. In my eyes a Jedi Guardian would be more Lightsaber focused, advanced in that field alongside Martial Arts, among other specialisations.

I'm unsure what to do with Kas right enough.

Be happy to do a training thread with you and your character(s).

I'd be up for any training that'd fall in line within the Jedi Guardian and Sentinel classes. Of course the general Jedi assets as well.

I'm unsure how to engage in that sort of thing. I'd like my characters to be prepared then go out in the field to endure and experience things as such.

I am curious and unsure about the Royal Naboo Republic and the New Jedi Order's stance with each other. Since that is where Kas has been taken to and began his journey. Currently on Tython.

Jace is a former Sith Knight- I’m sure he’d have a lot to say to the young man.

I am curious and unsure about the Royal Naboo Republic and the New Jedi Order's stance with each other. Since that is where Kas has been taken to and began his journey. Currently on Tython.

The only stance there is neutral, the Order of Shiraya just operates independently from the NJO.

As someone who has written with Viz quite a bit, you will not be disappointed, don't let a border and name hold you back.

If you'd prefer to stick to Tython for the moment, I do have another option - a favourite character of mine - that I could wake up:

A seer who has been wayseeker attached to the NJO - he is, in fact, on the roster, just haven't written him in a hot minute! I could easily bring him around to Tython for an extended stay.

And I do think he could help with what you're going for with Kas. His master was a Sentinel/Jedi Investigator, so though he is primarily a Sage and Consular, a lot of his knowledge overlaps with the Sentinel field, and more besides that could be useful, there.

Oh no I wasn't letting borders decide things ultimately. Just thought about little details that'd add some aspects in Kas and Tyrons stories.

Some of Legends is great, yeah, and so are the games!

I've never been strict about having to be from the same faction as the people my characters are teaching or learning from. It's preferable, sure, but I've never seen it as an absolute requirement - spent too long helping foster collaboration between Jedi orders earlier in the site history to worry much about it. In fact, up until recently, another Jedi of mine wasn't part of the RNR Jedi, though his padawan is... but now he's in the process of joining.
