Howdy, Chaos.
I hope everyone is stoked for the upcoming Annihilation. These events always gain traction and are fertile ground for epic opportunities in your or your faction's narratives. I've had the opportunity to work with some great folks across a few different factions the last week in preparation for the narrative. As is the nature of the Annihilation, its a site-wide event for all folks to enjoy. The set-pieces we've cooked up are mostly just the groundwork to help introduce and link a few different narratives into something cohesive. If you're looking for an easy in to the story from the GA side, this is for you. If you're hoping to join the Annihilation in some capacity, but are struggling to find a point of access, this is also for you.
These hooks are mainly targeted at:
- The Galactic Alliance & New Jedi Order
- The Galactic Empire
- The Black Sun Syndicate
- The High Republic and the Jedi Order
- The Diarchy
- The Lightsworn
But they can realistically engage anyone pulling up to the event. If they interest you, feel free to reach out to myself or one of the faction reps tagged below if you wanna yap about it. Otherwise, feel free to do your thing.

Without further ado, here's the stuff you probably care about:
The Assault on Atrisia is meant to be a surprise attack. The Galactic Alliance will not be fielding a massive defense force of fleet under the expectation of a planet-threatening assault. But they will not be without warning or nearby forces. Atrisia's extensive defense network has provided enough forewarning of the coming forces that those in nearby sectors can reasonably be notified of the assault. And the planet's very own defense force will be in play.
Furthermore, Atrisia itself will be hosting a diplomatic meeting between the Galactic Alliance and the Diarchy at the outset of the Annihilation. This impromptu meeting is an effort by the Diarchy to bridge the gap between itself and the Alliance, while simultaneously seeking an advantageous entrance into the Core War. The sudden arrival of a literal planet-buster will quickly force a reevaluation of priorities, leading into the events of Wrath of God!
With the arrival of the Death Star comes an endless tide of Imperial soldiers ready to die in the Emperor's name. As the Death Star prepares to fire upon the planet, Darth Solipsis' dark ritual seeks a source of ruin to feed his machinations. Imperial forces engage the field in a two pronged assault to root out enemies of the Empire and produce the energy needed to destroy the TIC and TSO in tandem.
Unbeknownst to the defenders,
Darth Bellum
has already infiltrated the city of Jar'kai and is in the final stages of opening a gate to Otherspace. This portal will allow members of the Galactic Empire to deploy directly in and around Jar'kai while OPERATION DURASTEEL SHRIKE begins above. The majority of those brought in by Bellum will appear outside the
Great Wall to begin a proper siege of the city, while smaller units will appear within the inner wall of the city to farm sweet, sweet chaos.
Faced with the appearance of a literal army on its doorstep, defenders within the city will rapidly engage the attackers across key locations displayed below.

The appearance of a superweapon will of course cause some level of panic across the city. Jedi Heroes from across the Lightsworn, New Jedi Order, and the Jedi Order will work in tandem to evacuate citizens and hold back the tide of Imperials. This is going to be a DM-styled PvP in and around the city. Two GE writers have graciously offered to play the role of opposition for quite a few writers here. Think of it like a "Heroes vs Horde" styled scene where the good guys have the pleasure of fighting back in a coordinated counter-offensive against much greater odds.
War Posters
The War Posters are the connective tissue helping tie the story together! Look out for pings from them and feel free to engage them. Chaotic urban warfare feels cool.
Heroes vs Horde
The Heroes are here to tell multiple unique perspectives of this event all across Jar'kai. Work together to tell a connected story of a pitched defense in the face of
annihilation.
Aboard the
AVS-Tython, the short-lived meeting between the Diarchy and Galactic Alliance comes to a crashing halt as the Death Star appears on the opposite side of Atrisia! Before the SSD can be turned to the defense of the planet, the ship's fleet comes under the assault of imperial star destoyers. Amidst the battle, the Black Sun Syndicate will begin its most daring heist yet...
The capture of the AVS-Tython!
Representatives of both the Galactic Alliance and Diarchy will unite to escape the SSD, fight back against the boarding party, and protect the senators aboard the ship!
Pilots from Rogue Squadron have come to the aid of the Alliance and work alongside the AVS-Tython to beat back the boarding party from the outside, while members of Shadow Squadron deployed alongside the Black Sun Syndicate will contest them.

On the other side of the planet,
Solan Charr
engages the arriving Galactic Empire fleet in an effort to slow their assault. Reinforcements from a nearby sector hurry to his aid, but the superweapon represents an existential threat. There will be lots of action in space around the Death Star. Get in the cockpit, man your bridge, and fight to destroy that thing.
Fleeters & Starfighters
Yeah.
That's about it. Sorry for the bible post here, but its designed to help keep things semi-organized at launch from our side of things at the GA. If any of these stories interest you, again, feel free to reach out. They are in no way closed off or inaccessible. They're meant to be easy points of entry for anyone having trouble getting something off the ground. And by no means are these the only narratives that will be in play. I'm sure many writers will be coming in with their own ideas and cool stories to tell, so keep your eyes peeled.
Get out there, communicate, collaborate, and have a fun time, folks!
