Question Would you pay a low monthly subscription fee if Chaos provided an image hosting alternative?

I wouldn't be against it. I lost so much when Nickpic got shut down during my hiatus, and I don't trust Imgur (not to mention, I got abuse when I first made an account because I accidentally posted an image instead of just hosting it).

Yeah, I also suffered when Nickpic shut down so I'd be happy to pay $3 or 5 if I had a secure space to host images for Chaos stuff. It's cheaper than buying a coffee

Imgur seems to work fine for me but if it came down to it then yes that is a reasonable amount to pay.

Theoretically - sure. My question would be what happens when a member stops paying the subscription. Do their images get removed? Become unavailable? Just can't add any more until they go back to paying but what was uploaded remains? Something else?

Great questions here.

After some thought I've reconsidered and changed my vote from uncertain to a yes for reliability reasons but I would also like to know the answers to your questions were this feature to be implemented.
