Witches and Wyyrloks (Tygara)

Storm of the Force

The Omega was destroyed, broken at last. Its threat to the galaxy had been extinguished by the combining of all the galaxy’s powers into a single force. It was this force which had overthrown the Sith and their weapon of terror.

However, no one was fooled that this alliance would survive even the wreck going cold. Soon war would begin again, and it was for the galaxy to prepare once again for a more general conflict.

Orbiting Tygara were the fleets of the Eldorai Matriarchy and Firemane. They were on alert due to the galactic crisis, and so when a very Sith ship appeared they rapidly moved to intercept.

However, the ship, a captured Wyyrlok Class Star Destroyer, transmitted friendly signals. It was the very ship which had been stolen by a group and brought back to Tygara.

At the same time a pair of frigates with escorts were returning from Castameer bearing the heroes who had helped bring down the Omega.

Since this was right after the Omega cataclysm, [member="Cabur Aranar"] and [member="Cole Dagos"] would probably still be with the group, kept around by HK because he took liking to Cabur and it was getting lonely not having a stable sidekick among Abregado's forces, and Cole because the man was presumably still unconscious, although put under bacta inhalation, and the droid was waiting for them to pass on by a right planet so they could dump him there.

As to HK, well he would be seen around the vessel that took the survivors out of Castameer's system, in his slightly burned up armor, just wasting time and bugging anyone he could find, at one point he insisted on starting up a group singing session and his voice could be heard through the corridors of the Firemane ship in lyrics to a recent Gados song originating from the Guild of Hammer's factories,

"Siobhan's on a vacation far away,
Come around, we'll plot it over,
So many things that I wanna make
You know I like my droids a little bit older
I just wanna retro-engineer your shatter-gun tonight
I really wanna retro-engineer your shatter-gun tonight
"

Slowly but surely, Elpsis regained consciousness in the Firemane frigate's medbay. As if on reflex, she rubbed her eyes, feeling groggy. Until she realised that they were useless. The bright flash of the reactor's explosion had robbed of her sight.

The girl tensed when she heard movement, then she could hear the door open. "It's just the nurse," a female voice said in a soothing tone. "We've arrived on Tygara. You shouldn't be up and about yet. Don't worry, we'll help you adjust."

"I'm not an invalid," Elpsis growled, feeling more than a little annoyed at the implication.

She could hear a sigh. "I swear it, is Kerrigan's entire brood as stubborn as her?" the nurse exclaimed in exasperation, then flushed a bit. "You're...not gonna tell her that, right? Anyway, I can help you walk, and you should get replacements soon."

"I don't need them. I'll manage just fine," Elpsis insisted. Dimly, she could perceive the woman through the Force. It was more than a little disconcerting to only see a bright aura and the shape of a person, but not how they looked, but she would manage. Glancing to the wall, she was surprised to find she could see the shapes on the other side. It gave her a bit of a headache and she clutched her forehead. "I can do this."

Beep, beep, beep - monitors surrounding Charlyra Araano made their sounds. Slowly she began to awaken, her eyes refused to open if only because they were tired. Her lips were chapped, in need of a drink - in need of something. Her body felt sore all over, Finally, Charlyra fought to wake up - forcing her eyes to open and then blinking away from the light as it poured down from the ceiling above her. Looking to her left and her right she noticed her synthetic arms had been plugged back into her shoulders, flexing her fingers she attempted to move when she was settled back down. "Blood pressure's rising, she's not ready yet," someone said, "get Dr. Walder!"

"Whoa, easy, easy Acolyte," Dr. Walder rushed to the aide of the nurses, "names Dr. Brianne Walder, easy - you've just been through some massive surgery, easy. Nurse get her a sedative!" Before Charlyra could act or think on anything, someone ran the sedative into her IV line. Her body reacted accordingly, shutting itself back down into sleep mode. "No one wake her up, yet - we'll still need to see if her body will accept the new bones." Upper back and shoulder surgery included the replacement of Charlyra's actual bones with a hybrid of synthetic and cybernetic replacements.

Dr. Walder and a nurse tuck Charlyra in, "run those numbers again, and I want you to give me the name of whoever thought waking her up now was a good idea."

"Yes ma'am," the nurse complied.

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
Their journey of destroying a superweapon was finally over, and they were returning back to Tygara. Nima, as well, was in another room treated by a nurse. For her, it was minor damage, burns in several places and bleeding wounds mostly, and aching. So her situation wasn't that bad comparing to her companions, and she was worried about them a lot. The nurse was suturing the big burning wound on her face, and applying some medications to it for the burning. The slight pain made Nima move a bit and let out a small sigh, but she could endure it, after all the action she endured in Omega. Nurse noticed it, and talked, her attention was still on suturing the wound. "I can get you some sedatives if you want. We've arrived on Tygara, and you deserve some rest." She said with a caring tone. Nima replied, with a tired tone and a smile that she could achieve meanwhile her face was being sutured.. "I am fine, don't worry. How about the others, are they okay?" She asked, as she didn't see Charlyra for a long time and last time she saw Elpsis, she was in a bad condition.

Nurse nodded. "They are being treated and they are going to be okay. You concentrate on your own health now. How do you feel?" She asked as she seemed to finish the suturing and left to the table to get some more medicine and bandages for her head. "I am better now than before." Nima said, nodding her head, now more relaxed that she heard they were going to be okay. It was a half truth response, she still felt burning and aching everywhere, with addition of slight dizziness. But it would be normal since they were in a battlefield moments ago. Or has it been hours? She didn't know. "Good to hear." The nurse answered, not entirely persuaded that she was okay, but anyway. So her treatment would continue, as the nurse returned with the necessary equipment and started to bandage her head, and the damaged part of her lekku. She had to be extra careful about those since a single fault would have many bad consequences. Then, a voice from the corridors could be heard. It was the droid once again, now singing? Nima couldn't help but to smile.

"Does he have an off button somewhere?" She asked to the nurse, clearly joking. The nurse softly laughed. "Unfortunately, not that I know of."

Following recent events, the Eldorai were on edge. First a Rogue Sith cult had unleashed a superweapon of cataclysmic proportions. Then the Silver Jedi had capitulated to a Sith Insurgency, vacating the entire Stygian Caldera after one of their own bombed a town on Korriban from orbit.

The coalition of the willing to save the world from Omega had come to an end. Now it was back to business. As ever, the Galaxy was a cold, bleak place. Tygara was on the edge of Wild Space, but the Space Elves had no confidence in Silver protection.

Thusly, when the Wyyrlok and the Firemane frigates entered the system, they encountered a fleet awaiting them. All available warships were on high alert. The Tirathana's and the Citadel-class defence station's guns were primed and ready to unleash lances of turbolaserfire. However, no shot came.

"The message checks out, ma'am. They are transmitting a Firemane code," a technician informed the Seraph inside the control room of the Tirathana, having been hailed by the Wyrrlok before its skeleton crew could experience a case of friendly fire.

Cold, blue eyes swept over the transmission, taking it in, then the Seraph nodded. "Instruct them to dock at the Tirathana. And inform the Queen and the Grand Seraph. I want a welcoming committee when they dock," she said impassively.

"Yes, Lady Seraph."

"This is no excuse for anyone to let down their guard," Kaida added in a sharp tone, as if there were any doubt about that. "Case Red remains in effect until it is countermanded by a higher authority."

Turning, she walked out of the room, her cloak billowing behind her. Her battle sister Vaena Askari fell in line alongside her. "So Firemane nabbed a Star Destroyer? I must confess that I'm somewhat envious. A pity we were not there for the battle against evil," she remarked.

"If you crave such 'excitement', I believe you'll get the chance far sooner than you'd like," Kaida responded in a cool tone. Her disapproval was plain, even though her face remained as expressionless as ever. It was difficult to get a rise out of her.

Askari frowned, realising she'd lost approval points! In all fairness, her friend was a bit prickly. "You believe the Sith or the Yedai will trouble us?" Like most Angelii, she disliked both Force cults a good deal.

"I believe we must be vigilant and self-reliant," the Seraph replied noncommittally. She gazed once more out of the viewing port, beholding the fathomless void of space, across which battleships prowled like ravenous sharks in search of prey. Beneath them lay the blue and green orb that was Tygara, new adopted homeworld of her people. A planet she'd sworn to protect with her life if need be.

"Then the warship came at an opportune moment. It behooves us to look to our own defences."

"Indeed."

The Dark Blade had got dropped off at the Fondor Shipyard, joining the ranks of a corvette and Bone Shatterer from the rubble of Corellia. Salacia would be completely overhauling the vessels, turning them into a small fleet for a defense force over Tabaqui. Makai thought it was a good start, it wasn't as if Salacia didn't run across vessels to salvage constantly and couldn't add to the fleet rather inexpensively.

Makai had to immediately board a salvage vessel and head back for Dac. Fondor didn't hold much interest for him to begin with.

Halfway through the trip, his comm buzzed with a few message. Updates on galactic news, post-Omega super weapon issues and the like. He had even gotten news of the Korriban attack committed by the SJO. Part of him didn't understand it, maybe he would have to message [member="Zak Dymo"] and ask for some perspective.

Worst of all was word his "big sister" [member="Elpsis Elaris"] was blinded. The whys and hows weren't available to him but it was a blow to the gut all the same. He'd have to skip Dac for now and visit her. Least he could do at the moment.

Symara was feeling her heroic antics from Castameer. Her injuries were not nearly as severe as the others, the nurses let her walk around. It would be good for her they all said so she could keep her body moving, she had been limited to her hallway at first, and then her floor and now she was able to use the lift and get to where she wanted to go. Symara felt good to be back on a friendly planet, she decided to see if today, they'd let her see [member="Elpsis Elaris"] and [member="Nima Tann"], and maybe a few others.

She arrived on Red's floor and went to the nurses station, "red taking visitors yet?"

"Master Elaris?" A nurse asked, "n-no - well."

"Just keep it between you and me," Symara tells her, walking with a cane - threw her lower back out pulling that leap of faith stunt but Firemane's staff of doctors and nurses were able to put her back together again. She barely knocked on the door just as she opened it, boldly the Corellian stepped into the threshold. "Red? You here?"

Meanwhile in the Engineering Bay,

The crew of the ship found that an effective way of shutting HK up was to persuade him into going down to the Engineering Bay by the Hangar, deep within the bowels of the ship, there the techs prepared an oil bath for the machine to lubricate his joins and prevent rusting. After all, they wouldn't be able to hear him if he was submerged! And so the droid would find himself submerging in the tub filled with black, boiling substance, boiling like a Jacuzzi as his skeletal silver-pale Phrik body entered its confined before gliding in like one would when entering a pool for a nice relaxing swim.

Inside the oil bath the droid would spin around, swimming on his back as the hot liquid cleaned his metal body out, looking at the couple of engineers who busied themselves repairing and cleaning up his suit of Vanguard armor, polishing its Phrik plating to erase any signs of scorching or blaster bolts after the day of adventures within the burning Omega. The engineers would also recharge his suit's batteries and fuel capsules while the droid enjoyed his bath, preparing the machine for another potential battle.

I wonder how that redhead from Omega is doing.

The machine calculated in his programming,

I believe I will call her 'Blindey'

He confirmed with himself, delving into his memories of when he first started to work with Siobhan, saving her from a sinking Bando Gora ship after she lost a limb or two as a result of a fight with the Cultists' champion. The machine carried her broken and bloodied body back to their dropship in his own two arms, swatting away blaster bolts with his lightsaber all the while through, and afterwards, he called her "Colonel Stumpy" for two weeks or so.

His calculations wandered to that Echani fellow he carried out of Omega, Cole or whatever that Mandalorian woman on the commlink called him,

I am going to call that one 'Feinty'

Elpsis tensed a bit when she heard noise outside, then relaxed. The nurse had given her a blindfold similar to what the Miraluka wore to conceal their useless eyes. Elpsis was quite certain that this was mostly because staring at them was disconcerting.

However, it helped her focus a bit, as it reminded her that she could only see through the Force, instead of trying to activate destroyed eyes that would not respond to her command anyway. The painkillers were starting to wear off, and so she winced a bit when her shoulder gave her grief. Ouch. "Mara?" she asked aloud. "Yeah, I'm here. Come in. I can kinda see you. It's weird. I can't see your pretty face...but I can see your aura. It's pretty, too."

Meanwhile, [member="Makai Dashiell"]'s salvage vessel, whenever it arrived in the system, would be screened and greeted by a pair of Adril-class fighters. Presumably the ship would be flying Salacia colours and transmitting an appropriate code, so they knew not to shoot at it! "Salacia vessel, welcome to Tygara. Do you require directions? We can inform Lady Kerrigan of your arrival."

Symara took another step into the room and looked over to the bed, "my face was never all that pretty anyway." The click of her cane against the tile floor could be heard as she got closer to Elpsis' bed. "Glad something I've got is pretty," her self-depreciating humor at its best. She looked for a chair and pulled it up, sounds of the furniture against the floor were loud but then it ceased when she took her seat. "I'm right here, Red." She set her cane against her chair, "they finally let me in here, well - they let me out of my floor and I came here."

"How are you?" She asks, noting the fold over Elpsis' eyes. Symara accepts this as is, leaning over to the bed the Corellian puts her hand on the edge of the bed.

The Omega, superweapon, destruction, stolen ships and all kinds of fun activities. And here Elincia was in the barracks moping the floors with the cleaning crew. Where did she hear this, you ask? Probably everywhere she moved. Groups of people were talking about the bad guys coming back with a superweapon destined to destroy everything in it's path. Elincia would give everything to be there, but of course first she needed to stack chairs. Ugh... Why did she have to be quite a pain to the authorities to deserve this?... Wait what?... Did she just think those exact words?... Holy kark, this whole cleaning business was starting to influence her mind. She was becoming... nope. No, it was all the ice lady's fault. She did this to her. Right? Blame her, not yourself. Yeah, that was obviously better. She laughed then, filling her head with more puns. It was her defense mechanism. Anyway, the girl did a slight jump when she heard the aggressive voice of the Seraph who was making sure the crew did a good job. She was quite the personality. Somedays she even thought she was worse than the ice lady.

"Alanis, don't slack off and do your job. I don't want to see any piece of the floor uncleaned."

"Alanis don't slack off and do your job. I'll just stand here being a queen." She parroted her words, her voice was low enough and mocking. At this point she didn't know if they just ignored her rebellious comments or she found the lowest voice that they couldn't hear. But anyway, it didn't take long for the Seraph to respond.

"Did you say something?" She asked, her voice was angrier this time.

"Yeah I said I am doing my best." Elincia replied, no mocking at all. Well, mocking her wouldn't help anyway.

"That's what I thought." The Seraph said lastly, and returned to control more stuff.

And thus, Elincia's cleaning adventures would continue.

"I'm alright. Adjusting. Had a bunch of broken bones, but I can deal. Reactor went boom, mucked up my eyes." She was less happy about that part. She reached out with her hand and made it crawl over the bed.

Tentatively, she touched the Corellian's hand, holding on to it. Now that she'd been robbed of her physical eyesight and had to rely on a somewhat confusing method of seeing through the Force, touch was all the more important to her, as if to reassure herself that she wasn't alone.

"Thanks for savin' my arse. Are Nima and Lyra ok?" concern could be heard in her words. "How were things on the ground? Heard it got rough. Glad you're ok! You guys kicked a lot of Sith arse down there?" Meanwhile, the frigate was approaching the Skyport, preparing to dock at it.

Tempest

Storm of the Force
[member="Elpsis Elaris"] [member="Elincia Alanis"] [member="Symara Tarriq"] [member="HK-36"] [member="Makai Dashiell"]

The Skyport was prepared, and as they came in to dock a party would be prepared.

On board the Wyyrlok, Tempest noticed Makai's arrival, heading to the same destination. She smiled at the little tadpole. He’d shown he was an asset and a capable, reliable friend like his father was.
She sent out a comm message to the Salacia ship.
“You did good, kid. Thank you for your help. Follow us in and dock right above us. I think we've got a welcoming party waiting.”

She’d heard the news. Her heart trembled at what the reunion with Elpsis would bring. She’d heard she’d been bad heard, heard she’d been blinded. But surely she could be fixed…right?

As they disembarked they were greeted with a celebratory grouping of most of the most important people on Tygara.
Though the Queen was not here, Aeda Shaytari – the Grand Seraph – was. Also there was Tegaea Alcori and presumably Siobhan Kerrigan. The power couple were waiting for those on board to disembark.

Tempest heard the cheers, but she didn’t deserve them. Instead she immediately set off towards the frigate’s dock. She wanted to see Elpsis…possibly a poor turn of phrase there…as soon as possible. She ignored everyone else as she searched for her redheaded lover….

The Corellian's hand swept through Elpsis's hair, sweeping it back. The hand that held Red's squeezed back, reassuring the Fire Sister that she was not alone, "Nima's recovering I think she's a few doors down? Sorry, I uh, I only asked about you," she cleared her throat, "not sure about uh, Charlyra? Is that her name?" Symara takes in a breath, "all I know is that they took the three of you pretty fast..."

Moving her chair a little closer she kept the younger woman's hand in hers. "Cold," she says about the ground, "cold, wet and lots of artillery fire." Some of the girls in the heavy ordnance unit were getting their hearing check for that reason alone. "It got rough right about the time we reached the trench, Omega was going up and all I could think about was getting y- uh, all of you out, safely." Lowering her head, Symara took her free hand put it on her face, she had no idea what was happening anymore. Part of her felt a bit like she was betraying her late wife and the part of her insisted that she couldn't stay alone forever.

"But yeah, yeah artillery made short work of Sith, but we- we didn't do that alone, Mandalorians really brought the house down, so to speak anyway," Symara adds and brings Elpsis' hand to her lips, "I should uh, I should let you rest." The Corellian rises to her feet hand still holding onto Elpsis' as she leans over and for a moment her lips hover over the redhead's but she decides instead to kiss her on the cheek.

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
And thus Nima's treatment was over, with half of her head bandaged and her burning wounds were sutured and treated. Looking at the mirror just behind the nurse, she was looking like she just survived a crash. Oh wait, she did. Having one last checkup too see if Nima needed anything else, the nurse nodded with a smile. According to her behaviour Nima concluded she didn't need anything else. "I think that's all." The nurse said, with yet another caring tone. "Our ship is almost docked to the skyport. So you can rest a little bit until." Of course, Nima wasn't going to rest, since that wasn't her style. Instead, she wanted to see her friends to check if they were okay. She pushed herself from the bed after the nurse left, and started to walk towards the corridor to find another nurse to ask questions. Fortunately, by the power of handwavium, one of them could be found going towards somewhere. So, Nima stopped her. "Excuse me. Do you know where Elpsis and Charlyra are?" She asked, probably the Firemane employees knew their name by now. So the nurse answered.

"Ahh Master Tann. Glad to see you are okay. Master Elaris is staying at the room at end of the corridor. Padawan Araano is not yet ready to see visitors I believe." This made Nima worry, what did "she is not ready to see visitors" mean? "Is she okay?" She asked, her tone was a worried one. "Ah, yes. It's standard procedure, she's going to be fine." The nurse answered with a monotone voice. She didn't like people saying "standard procedure", who knew what the standard procedure was? But she was glad that Charlyra was okay. At least, well, she was alive. "Thank you" She said simply, and left the nurse to do what she was going to do. Moving towards the huge corridor, it reminded her of the Omega, which caused another headache. But she arrived at the door, which opened with a "woosh" voice. She saw Elpsis, a painful sigh followed afterwards, and [member="Symara Tarriq"] was in the room too. After a slight nod to her, she moved forward to Elpsis. "Elpsis, I am here.." She said, then pulled the girl for a gentle hug. Both had their wounds. Then she talked, letting her go. "How... are you?" Probably not a good question to ask, but the girl was not a social butterfly and didn't know how to act in such situations. Her tone would give how worried she was for her though.

((Moving things along a bit, think we can meet on the Skyport now. [member="Makai Dashiell"], feel free to spawn there when it works for you. :)))

Elpsis relaxed slightly, arching into the touch when Symara swept through her long red mane. With her sight lost to her, touch became more important and, as a consequence, the sensations were more vivid. She was a bit surprised when the black woman suddenly touched her face, but did not pull away. However, she winced a bit when she felt the inner struggle going on inside Symara. Being an empath, she was quite attuned to others' emotions. Of course, she could not read the Corellian's mind and did not know the tragic loss that caused her such turmoil, but nonetheless.

Her heart went out to the soldier-woman. Part of her wanted to hug and try to soothe the aches inside her, though she was not sure the soldier would let her! "Mara...," then the Corellian planted a kiss on her cheek rather than her lips.

"I'm glad you came. We can always hang, if you want. You're very sweet and, like, totally badass. And...if you wanna talk, I'm here." Elpsis flushed a bit, her cheeks acquiring a slight pink hue. "And you're a freaking great kisser," she added.

It was then that Nima showed up in the room. The Twi'lek looked worse for wear and was probably doing worse than she let on, but she was up and about, which was what mattered for the time being. "I hurt a lot and only see weird, colour-coded shapes, but I'm good," Elpsis awkwardly returned the hug. "We totally kicked arse, didn't we? You alright? Saw Lyra around?"

"Pardon me for interrupting, but we've arrived at the Skyport," a nurse peeked in from outside. It seemed this room was getting crowded. "Mistress Elaris, I can help you walk if you need the aid. You're all being expected."

"I can manage," Elpsis insisted and tried to get up. She swayed a bit awkwardly, trying to maintain balance. Then the girl stumbled and almost toppled over. "Ok...I need some help," she admitted reluctantly. She could dimly feel Tempest's presence from outside the ship and, for some reason, this made her feel not just joyful, but more than a little nervous. A Firemane minion would inform [member="HK-36"] that they'd docked, as impolite as cutting his oil bath short probably was.

The salvaging vessel would briefly touch down on the Tygaran skyport, long enough to allow him to disembark with his backpack. Seeing they had a salvaging job to get to, Makai would be left to his own devices from this point on. He wasn't incredibly worried. Tabaqui was nearby and Salacia vessels passed through at a near constant rate.

Iced azure gaze looked around, trying to figure out where to go. He adjusted the pack on his back, debating if he needed to ask for some type of direction. [member="Elpsis Elaris"] was in his comm contact list, but he doubted the woman would be answering anytime soon.

Slowly wandering around, he finally spotted a shock of red hair, attached to a woman leaning on a cane. Kerrigan. Makai began to move towards where they were waiting. The Firemane CEO would know where Elpsis could be found. Wasn't Kerrigan her aunt or something similar?

[member="Makai Dashiell"], [member="Tempest"]

The Lady Siobhan Kerrigan gazed out of the viewing port into the cold void, watching the massive Wyyrlok dock at the Skyport. It was truly a powerful vessel of war, and would be a fantastic addition to her fleet.

The Countess wore a very snappy uniform in scarlet that made her look very domineering. It resembled the one she'd worn during her term in office as Exarch of the Protectorate. It was pressed to a crisp and gleamed with gold braid and epaulettes. She had, after some effort, been persuaded not to overload her breast with medals because that would make her look like a tin pot dictator! A swazzy skirt coupled with black leather boots finished off the dress uniform.

Leaning on a cane, she awaited the arrival of the Firemane Task Force. There'd be awards and celebrations! They'd all performed admirably and had earned themselves a reward. A part of her regretted not being there in the field with them.

It felt wrong to be at home and safe while they were exposing themselves to mortal peril. Her hand reached out and slid into Tegaea's, threading their fingers together. Perhaps now she understood how her wife felt when Siobhan went crusading.

She smiled at Tempest when she stepped off the warship and there were cheers amongst the crowd, but it seemed the Dahomian had already taken off like a speeding bullet, searching for her redheaded lover. Siobhan could understand the concern to a degree. Apparently Elpsis had been hurt during the battle, but she was alive, that's what mattered! People make too much of a fuss about a little maiming. All we gotta do is give her new eyes, she thought to herself.

Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Makai approach her through the throng. He was a good lad and his father was a friend. "Ah, Makai. Glad you could make it. Nice work at Castamere. Welcome to Tygara. Are you looking for Elpsis? I think she and the girls are about to leave the frigate."

With the news being delivered to the droid and interrupting his bath, the machine finally got out of the Engineering bay and came upon the scene of Elpsis being helped to walk in the Med Room, deciding to check on the wounded before he would disembark,

"Hey kiddos, how are you feeling?"

The machine greeted Elpsis and everyone else who was in the room, conducting a scan of Elpsis' eyes,

"They really shot your photoreceptors to Chaos. Have you thought about getting replacement parts? I have some good droid eyes laying around my palace just in case, top of the line, but they glow fairly bright."

Elpsis might have been tempted to take a swing at the droid in response to his words, if she could see him that is. Due to the droid's nature as an artificial being he didn't exactly had presence in the Force, but at the same time he did, as much as the floor, a rock, or a chair did. This meant that he couldn't stand out as void in the Force like some beings absent from it, instead he was just walking background noise.

For those that would be able to see him, for once the machine was naked, without his cloak, his armor, his weapons, just him in all the nude glory of his thin, almost skeletal Phrik body, light deflecting eerily off of the polished pale-silver metal like bone. That way he would carry less germs into the sick bay, thankfully the hot oil bath pretty much sterilized him.
