What Am I Doing (open to 2 GA and or NJO)

Judah wasn't dressed like a Jedi at all. Everything was changing. All the technology and armor made being a Jedi seem to be, well, old fashioned. Who was he kidding? He'd looked in the mirror, the man of mid fourties had grown his beard, and was always drawn to the lines of gray in his hair. Kat always made him feel good about it though, calling him her silver fox. He sighed, breathing in deep and letting it or slow. His old Jedi starfighter had just touched down on Sullust. He stayed in the cockpit for a while, before opening it and getting out.

Tired steps carried him to the new temple, or whatever it was they met in. The journey began here, or continued here. Judah was already missing [member="Katara Starkos"], but JJ and Kaitlyn were with her. The time to make the winery more than a winery had come, and JJ had always been good with their hands. Judah's job, make an alliance with someone close to home. None of the other Jedi factions served his sense of what a Jedi should be. This was his last stop before giving up and going back to being a private contractor.

He stepped into the main chamber. Memories of the chambers he'd seen before flooded his mind. Current events had brought him back to this place, and he was ambivalent to it all. It had finally become personal again, and this was all to protect the life he'd built. His motive now was selfish, but still right.

Jedi must not have wants; self-reliance must be shown.
~ Jedi Tenets

A Jedi would pursue knowledge for the betterment of all. Never for personal gain.

That is one of the tenets that every padawan would learn from their initial training lessons. Jedi Knight A'dele Adonnai seemingly took this to heart. Her time was now spent at the archives of the New Jedi Order, assisting with their implementation as much as providing lessons for those who were interested.

The young Iridonian female normally kept to herself. She had no padawan that was known of and instead would provide a few group training lessons here and there. For the most part, she kept to herself. One might even say she took on the role of the Jedi hermit a bit too seriously.

Always calm. Always cordial. And seemingly always in control of herself. To the point most would wonder if she ever displayed any emotions at all. Was she that in control? Would her hours of meditation have something to do with that?

What a curious curio.

What was he even doing? It had been a long time since Judah had acctually been a Jedi. He'd hung up his lightsabers about 7 or 8 years ago. When he had to use them again, it had been like riding a bike. You never forgot, especially when one was an accomplished duelist. His last major duel had seen him hurt, badly hurt. It was then he decided it was time to hang his sabers up for good. What good did it do his family to serve the Jedi and end up dead.

The galaxy had pulled him back into it all though. It was personal, and Judah knew he had to get past that. Maybe that was why he was in a temple again. Since the attack, he had not been able to find his center as well. There were bounties out on Jedi, and somehow Judah was one of them. Now because of who had been he could still end up dead. His goal in life was not to make [member="Katara Starkos"] a widow. She'd lost both her parents already, she did not need to lose her husband.

He followed his instincts and wound up in the library. His eyes rolled a bit as he walked into the room knowing how much he had disliked all the research the job demanded. Judah was a results guy. He hated the prep, but loved the results. The research and preparation was a necessary evil to it all. Judah sighed and took out an old tome. He loved those, the smell and feel of the leather. The old flimsi paper inside also had a nice aroma to it. He wondered if anyone would notice that he seemed out of place, yet not.
