Wanted: A Judge for Veiere's Trial

Kay-Larr

Yup. [member="Veiere Arenais"] is going to trial. After his attack on the Jedi Temple on Deneba, he allowed himself to be arrested so that he could answer to what both himself and his Dark Jedi Order had done.

We have people ready to make their cases on both sides, but now we need to find ourselves an unbiased judge. As the head of the CSA, Kay would be a good choice, but Veiere is her husband, so she can't oversee the trial. It would only be seen as a sham and a scandal if she did.

So...who out there wants to tackle the trial?

Kay. Kay. I will do this. And I think you should consider me for one purpose, and what I say is not filled with witty Sarcasm as everything else I ever say.

Thraxis has never lied to you. And has no real stance on this, he hates all Force Users equally.

[member="Thraxis"] - I know that he hates Force Users, but you're a known criminal.

[member="Veiere Arenais"] - As you wish, my dear.

[member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] - Costume party?

[member="Solidor Slane"] - He is still a good man. I know he is. This is just...a hiccup.

[member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] - You aren't impartial either. And where's Lori? You need to keep her out of trouble :p

[member="Caedyn Arenais"] - I heard that :p

Yes but no one ever thinks of that, they think, Money, Women or prospect of power. No one would expect you to bring an alcoholic to court to play the role of judge and I am a no-name that no one really knows. And the few that do know that granule of information is likely, not intervening on this issue and if they are, I still have a binding contract with thee, that makes it paramount that I cannot break it under any rules even death.

An interesting remark given I always hoped to see my peers on an even playing field...

..-But if we are to amuse ourselves, let us say that I fell from the heavens that ye may know the grace of Giants.

;)

[member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] would be a good choice, but as someone with a solid grasp on the judicial system I feel compelled to offer my services as well.

(Also I'm a law student OOC, obviously you should pick me. Pretend I followed this up with something tongue-in-cheek to make it clear I'm not serious.)

[member="Lady Kay"]

I offer my services.

The Jedi, like it or not, are a martial force. Ergo it is only natural that a man of military means judges the case. Plus, Carlyle's a cold, analytical machine right now, in the most literal of terms. He'd be perfect as a judge for this matter.
