Breaker of Chains

The station's unfamiliar interior surrounded him as he ran, the only guide being his memory of the layout. He did make a few wrong turns in his haste and nearly ran into several objects along the way, but soon enough he was back in the control room and furiously typing away to get the hangars open once more. He didn't even bother locking the door behind himself, nor checking to see exactly where Rhys was in the station. He could have brought up the camera feed of course, had he wanted.
In his mind there was no time for that though. He had other priorities at the moment.
His skill and expertise with computers was, admittedly, not the best. Thankfully though, he had already gotten the station working once before. "And....aha!" With another press the hangars around the station began opening, the one keeping his ship in place being the most important one of course. His gaze drifted to the camera feed, narrowing at the sight of Rhys hurrying down towards the hangar bay her ship was in. His finger hovered over the button to close the hangar doors, and then he pulled his hand back.
"Next time, you won't get away so easily." Alisteri turned off the cameras first, beginning a sequence to wipe all the data left on the station and return it to a dormant state. It would take a few minutes for all the processes to complete and for the power to shut off again, but by then he intended to be long gone. Satisfied with his work he stepped away from the console and stretched his fingers for a moment before tapping his communicator.
:"This is Haxim to bridge, prime the engines. I'm on my way back now, we're leaving.":
