OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

  • Intent: To re-create a Canon location destroyed in a planetary travesty and Civil War as well as to provide Mandalorians with a meeting place and work towards completing MandalMotors Major Project.

SETTING INFORMATION

  • Structure Name: MandalMotors Convention Center
  • [background=transparent]Classification: Community Center and Meeting Place[/background]
  • Location: New Keldabe
  • Affiliation: Mandalorians
  • Accessibility: Limited Security outside of special events
  • Security: Local Law Enforcement
  • Description: Located at the base of the new MandalMotors Tower, the MandalMotors Concention Center is a far cry from the original building which was made of simply granite. After the destruction of Mandalore and the Mandalorian Civil War, both MandalMotors Hall and MandalMotors Tower fell. In its place was constructed the MandalMotors Convention Center, a much larger, much sturdier multi role structure constructed of Mandalorian Steel, Beskar, and various other building materials. Connected to a MandalRail station it serves as one of the main transport hubs in the city of New Keldabe as well as one of the largest meeting places on Mandalore. Space is often rented out to small businesses who want to get a start in the quickly growing city of New Keldabe and events large and small are hosted in the Convention Centers various rooms and halls. Around it traditional Mandalorian restaurants have popped up alongside Mandalorian Gift Shops, making it a true tourist trap for the few that would brave a vacation on an Outer Rim world like Mandalore.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • MandalRail Station: Keldabe Station, one of the busiest MandalRail stations on Mandalore. It brings in supplies, shipments, people and tourists to MandalMotors Convention Center. The closest MandalRail Station to Keldabe Station is Kelita Station which is a short trip over the Kelita Lake that now surrounds Keldabe.
  • Alor Hall: While the new Mand'alor does not heed the words of the Alor any longer, the Alor Hall is based off of the original MandalMotors Hall and is a medium sized granite construction built to resemble the old meeting place of the great Mandalorian Chieftains. Now it is used as an auditorium for special events or as a small holo-museum of Mandalorian History.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
During the Battle of Keldabe, the remaining structure of MandalMotors tower and MandalMotors Hall were destroyed, pulled down by Mia Monroe in a last ditch effort to bury Ra Viszla and his his Death Watch supporters. Several months after the Civil War's end, during reconstruction of of Keldabe instead of the old structure of granite and rows of seats, MandalMotors decided on constructing a site that would better suit the rebuilt Keldabe. Where previously Keldabe retained the old-style feel of a Mandalroan City with mostly dirt paths and a combination of stone, steel and wood buildings, the new city was built as a modern city, up to par with much of the Galaxy's other cities. While not as illustrious as the rebuilt Sundari, the current capital of the Mandalorian Empire, Keldabe sprung up as a strong contender, as it still held much of Mandalore's culture in its construction.

MandalMotors Convention Center was a blend of new and old. Constructed at the base of the new MandalMotors Tower it was constructed of mostly metal and beskar and glass, giving it an industrial and modern look compared to the granite dome MandalMotors Hall used to be. A cultural and travel hub in the city as it was connected to both a Space Port and a MandalRail Station, it served as not only a tourist trap, but also as a place for some of the smaller and more traditional clans to gather and speak, or for large and small corporations to hold events such as expos or tech talks. It also served as the base of MandalMotors Tower, making it a central place for internships in research and design. Where Lake Kelita represented the Hubris of the Mandalorian People, MandalMotors Convention Center and MandalMotors Tower served as reminders to the Galaxy that the Mandalorians would not stay defeated. Just as the previous MandalMotors Hall was donated by MandalMotors, as was the convention center.

[*]Description: Once a winding river that stretched for Miles and formed a natural moat around Keldabe, now a massive lake. The flow of the fast moving river was irreparably destroyed during the Destruction of Mandalore. Over the years that the planet was left unattended, the river bled into the surrounding countryside, washing away and drowning places like Little Keldabe, the Grave of the Martyr, and the ancient mass grave just outside of Keldabe. Now a massive lake completely surrounding Keldabe it is a stark reminder of the hubris of the Mandalorians.
POINTS OF INTEREST
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Named for the Mandalorian word that roughly translates to moat, the Kelita River flowed through Mandalore's Northern Hemisphere. Its massive body was formed from several tributary rivers throughout the Kelita Valley and eventually dumped out into the sea, but not before winding almost completely around the hilltop fort city of Keldabe. For thousands of years the river served as a local attraction for Mandalorian families as well as a form of natural defense against would be invaders. It was the main drinking source for towns and settlements for thousands of miles. After the Destruction of Mandalore orchestrated by Mia Monroe and several other accomplices, the flow of the river was forever changed. Instead of continuing on full force into the ocean, the river flooded, destroying much of the small settlements, mines, farmland, and woodland around Keldabe. Its water levels rose above and over the stone balustrade that protected the city during the rainy season, flooding into parts of Keldabe as well. The once great river was now interrupted by an immense lake, a constant reminder of Mandalore's hubris and self destructive nature. Despite this, two large cities popped up in the and around the lake. The new MandalMotors sponsored city, aptly named Kelita City, and New Keldabe. In order to keep the flow from completely flooding MandalMotors and the Builders Guild of Mandalore constructed a dam to slow the lake's growth and power the two new cities formed in and around this new landmark.

  • City Name: Keldabe; New Keldabe

  • Demographics[background=#1e1e1e]: [/background][background=#1e1e1e]95% Mandalorian of various races[/background]

[*]Wealth: Medium
  • While Keldabe is one of the most important cities on Mandalore, it is by no means the largest. Surrounded on all sides by Lake Kelita most of the city's business comes from local beskar smiths, beskar mine owners, MandalMotors and tourists on their way to Padelfia City or Kelita City. Thus the city has been, much like it has in the past, been placed into mediocrity. This doesn't mean however that the Mandalorians don't take pride in the city, as for many it is still considered the Cultural Center or capital of Mandalore despite the Mandalorian Empire taking Sundari as its capital.
[*]Stability: High
  • With a large Mandalorian Empire military presence and the steady work provided by the locals and MandalMotors either in its tower, convention center or just across the lake, most people here are content and the area has more or less become a place of neutrality within the Mandalorian Empire despite it being the seat of power for the Mandalorian Rebels during the Mandalorian Civil War. Its significance to the Mandalorian people kept them from letting the city become more broken than it already was.
[*]Description: Once a proud military fort city sitting atop a hill surrounded on nearly all sides by the Kelita River, since Mandalore's destruction at the hands of Mia Monroe and company, Keldabe has become a city surrounded on all sides by the new Lake Kelita. With much of its ancestral buildings gone and the surrounding mines and small towns swallowed up by the river, the hilltop town has become an island city. Water locked from the rest of the planet large bridges and MandalRail lines connect it to the surrounding Kelita Valley and Kelita City, a new Corporate City sponsored entirely by MandalMotors. With such attractions as the Oyu'baat Cafe and Hotel now basically water front property, the city has been forced to shift from the farming and mining lifestyle they had before to fishing and underwater mining. Several ports are scattered along the edge of the city. Dirt paths have for the most part been replaced by clean city streets near the city center where the MandalMotors Tower, MandalMotors Convention Center, and the TSAC meet.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • The Docks: While shipping via waterways has mostly gone away, it is still one of the fastest and cheapest ways to transport large quantities of beskar in and out of the city. The docks are also where most of the mining operations reside now as all of the beskar that was in the surrounding area has been submerged beneath Lake Kelita. Large cranes and small starship and airspeeder hangars dot the docks along with fish markets and small family owned beskar smith shops. Most of the paths here are still dirt as these were the closest to the edge of the city before the flooding.
  • City Center: Comprised of the MandalMotors Tower, MandalMotors Convention Center, the Mandalorian Empire military offices, and the TSAC the city center is a bustle of activity. With one of the largest star ports and military bases on Mandalore the city consistently sees military starships fly in and out. It is also a bustle of tourist traffic as they head to places like Padelfia City and Kelita City on business trips.
  • The Oyu'baat Tapcaf: The oldest building of Keldabe, it has been standing for thousands of years. Many believe it is protected by the Manda because no matter how many invasions or how many times Keldabe has fallen, the one thing that remains is the Oyu'baat Tapcaf. Settled in on the outskirts of town, it faces Kelita City and is right on the water. Despite its water front view, it remains off the radar of all but the bravest tourists due to its policy on weapons and armor. Most Mandalorians wear their armor and open carry their weapons in the tapcaf.
  • Underwater Graveyard: Including the Rekali Mine, all of the beskar mines that had surrounded Keldabe before have been taken beneath the waves of Lake Kelita. This includes however the small mining town of Little Keldabe. Now an underwater graveyard it has become a hidden taboo tourist spot. Shrouded in Mandalorian superstition and held as a mass grave for those who perished in Mandalore's destruction it is generally forbidden by de facto local laws.
  • Underwater Mines: Rekali Mine has been completely submerged, making mining beskar even more difficult than it already was. Cave ins are now ten times more dangerous.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
For thousands of years Keldabe stood as the de facto capital of the decentralized government of the Mandalorian Clans. A proud city where old traditions met new technology with open arms it was the example of a Mandalorian City. Dusty roads and thousand year old buildings stood alongside advanced towers and star ports. However during the downturn of the Mandoalrian Clans, a traitor, corrupted by a vision of prosperity for the Mandalorians returned to the planet and laid waste to the surface of Manda'yaim. The resulting volcanic eruptions and seismic activity threw the planet into a state of chaos as fires ravaged the land, rivers flooded cities and homesteads, and thousands of years of infrastructure was destroyed.

Keldabe was not spared from this fate and as the Kelita River swelled around it forming Lake Kelita the once Hilltop Fort City of Keldabe became a waterfront island city. Cut off from land travel and with much of its land flooded most fled the city and moved to relief cities like Padelfia or Sundari. Some even left the planet entirely. However, thanks to the efforts of governments and Jedi from around the Galaxy along with MandalMotors and the Mandalorians the city began to recover. However, when both Mia Monroe and Ra Viszla returned to Mandalore, a Civil War would rock Keldabe to its core. Destroying both MandalMotors Tower and MandalMotors Hall, two of the city's greatest landmarks were destroyed in the ensuing battle. For a time during the Civil War Keldabe stood as the home of what would become known as the Mandalorian Rebels who were led by Mia Monroe, Gilamar Skirata, and Jaster Ordo.

After the Civil War the Mandalorian Empire under Ra Viszla would take Sundari as its capital, likely due to the city being mostly intact, even after the Civil War due to its sturdy construction of beskar and its protective environmental dome. Keldabe was slowly rebuilt over a long period of time after MandalMotors gave around 70% of its total revenue to the Mandalorian people to rebuild the city and build its new sister city, nearly bankrupting the company. Finally complete the city stands smaller and more compact than it once was, but stronger than ever.

[*]Wealth: High
  • Kelita City is a large city built on Lake Kelita. A short train ride or flight from Keldabe it is almost entirely funded by MandalMotors and as such, most of the buildings and rented office space is also owned by MandalMotors. Filled with shops, factories, and warehouses Kelita City is an epicenter of business on Mandalore. It also has a string of popular tourist attractions and hotels along its beach as well as one of the largest Bolo Ball stadiums on Mandalore.

[*]Stability: High
  • As with much of Mandalore, Kelita City is patrolled by Mandalorian Empire warriors, keeping the peace in the city. Being corporately run by a company that supports the Mandalorian Empire also gives certain perks like tax cuts and the like for the small businesses that take root in the city. It is also a tourist attraction due to its proximity to Lake Kelita and its collection of resorts along the beach and thus keeping those people happy is important to the law enforcement of Kelita City.

[*]Description: Kelita City is a massive corporate city modeled after ArmaTech's corporate cities. A large area of buildings, warehouses, and factories the city mostly caters to those in the engineering and arms dealing business. Incredibly industrial unlike many other Mandalorian towns and cities, it is built at the base of a great hill and built out over Lake Kelita. Powered by the nearby dam as well as Sasori Power Reactors it is constructed from modular building pieces purchased from Sasori, a Galactic corporate powerhouse, as well as supplemented by buildings constructed by the Mandalorian Empire's various nationalized Construction Guilds. With MandalMotors at the center of the city and its large testing faculties, factories, and warehouses dotted throughout the city, it is obvious that the city was built for MandalMotors to become the center of the Mandalorian Empire's war and raid based economy. Near the edge of the city, built into the hill is a Mandalorian Empire vheh'yaim-style military base. Built deep into the hill in secret. On the water hotels dot the landscape catering to tourists and beach goers.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • MandalMotors Stadium ("Fox Sport", by Wayne Haag on Art Staiton): One of the largest Bolo Ball stadiums on Mandalore, it brings in Mandalorians and bolo ball fans from throughout the Galaxy to watch some of the Galaxy's best players play the beautiful game.
  • MandalMotors Factory ("Scifi Facility", by Martin Agleron on Art Station): MandalMotors largest on world factory. It is the epicenter of MandalMotors R&D, engineering, and construction in the Outer Rim.
  • Warehouse Disctrict: Many Mandalorian companies utilize this space to store proto-types, overstock, and other various things. It is consistently patrolled by various private military groups hired by the various companies that rent space here. The security as a whole is maintained by the Shriek-Hawk Mercenary Company.
  • MandalRail Station: A high tech MandalRail station that connects Keldabe with Kelita City and other nearby towns and cities.
  • Corporate Sector: Hundreds of miles of high rise apartments and financial offices.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Constructed by MandalMotors and the Mandalorian Empire, Kelita City was constructed some time after the Destruction of Mandalore and the Mandalorian Civil War. Designed to be a large space manufacturing and test bed for MandalMotors first, the rest of the city was constructed around the long tarmacs and factories of MandalMotors. With deals made between the nationalized construction guilds of the Mandalorian Empire and Sasori MandalMotors was able to obtain the necessary capital and supplies to build both a new city and aid in the reconstruction of Keldabe.

Despite being constructed after the Civil War, the late MandalMotors CEO, Gilamar Skirata had already begun planning the large city well before the war with the One Sith, however due to his responsibilities as Mandalore, the Alor of House Skirata, and the CEO of MandalMotors on top of the seemingly endless wars his people were apart of he never found time to construct it. It was originally going to be built a different continent in the southern hemisphere, however after his apparent death, Zeke Farthen, the new CFO of MandalMotors informed Dorn Skirata, the new CEO of MandalMotors of a data file containing all of Gilamar Skirata's future project plans. With permission from the CEO Zeke retrieved the data packet and set to work on Gil's plans, modifying them to fit the new landscape and economic needs of Mandalore.

Taking around 65% of the funds from Gilamar Skirata's personal accounts, a loan from the Mandalorian Empire's building guilds, loans from the Hutts, and several billion credits of MandalMotors total earnings, Zeke nearly bankrupted the company getting Kelita City and Keldabe back on their feet in terms of building. After forging contracts with Sasori, a Galactic Mega Corporation, MandalMotors grudgingly began work on the city.

Constructed mostly out of Sasori's highly modular construction series buildings, the city was very easy to build as block by block the Mandalorian Empire and MandalMotors construction force threw up the modular buildings in weeks, though not everything could be built from the modular pieces. Many of them had to be modified for Mandalore's climate and to be compatible with Mandalore's own construction policies.

The result was a Mandalorian Mega City, larger than both Keldabe and Sundari put together. With space for new businesses, new homes, and new attractions Kelita City became the fastest growing city on Mana'yaim.

  • Limited Production: Because the Starbird is such an expensive starship there are only ever so many out in the Galaxy at a time. Essentially they are custom ordered.
Description: Designed to directly challenge elite interceptors of Incom and other large ship manufactures and outright outclass anything being produced in Mandalorian Space, the Starbird-Class interceptor replaces the old Vhe'viin-class interceptors, ending a well lived line of With decades of experience MandalMotors has produced the fastest, most agile fighter in its history. Opting to remove the hyperdrive and the armor plating so common on Mandalorian starfighters it has instead focused on speed and maneuverability allowing for spectacular feats of flight by pilots and unparalleled movement in the Mandalorian starship arsenal. Strengths:
  • Danger Close: A heavy payload of weapons makes the Mandalorian Gunship a powerful force on land, air and stars.
  • Fast: Be it atmosphere or vacuum the MMG-86V has enough speed to grant it the name "Fast Attack Craft"
Weaknesses:
  • No Shields: Elite starfighters and larger vessels have no problem blasting through the Mandalorian Steel hull of this ship without shields
  • Power Draw: The Mandalorian Gunship must return to the fleet to be refueled consistently during long engagements
Description: The true successor to the MMG-84S, the MMG-86V Mandalorian Gunship is the first gunship designed by MandalMotors to hit the market for more than a decade. A staple during the Dark Times of Mandalore and even later during the Mandalorian campaign against the Sith Empire the MMG-84S for decades had served as the Mandalorian's main gunship delivering powerful payloads at blistering fast speeds. The MMG-86V is a faster and more focused ship and almost four times as large which is required due to its immense power draw. Most of the ship is taken up by the assault ship's massive reactor, denying the same amount of troop space but allowing the ship to tackle longer engagements than its predecessor.

Taking inspiration from Mandalorian War Droids, the primary nose gun of the gunship is an array of shockwave generator rods. Though only 4 their size and the power behind them they hit harder than a basilisk's shockwave generator array which were able to punch through most starship hulls with ease. Easily the most impressive gun on the ship however is the MMG-86V's main gun. The turbolaser array situated atop the center of the ship sports two double barrel heavy turblasers. Linked together the weapon requires its own small power bank and is operated by a team of two gunners. Because of its impressive stopping power however it must be used sparingly as once the dedicated powerpack runs out of juice the ship will need to either recharge or resort to utilizing the ship's main reactor which could potentially leave the ship dead in the water.

It is because of this power draw potential that the design team behind this ship decided to forego shields with the expectation that the Mandalorian Steel hull and armor plating would deter most kinetic damage and enough energy damage for a pilot to either escape or destroy their target, though most larger capital ships and elite starfighters have more than enough firepower to take down the MMG-86V. Despite these attempts to mitigate power draw the ship still must often return to the fleet to be refueled in the middle of battle. Even with these shortcomings though the Mandalorian Gunship has never been better and using blaster tech from MandalMotors along with its other weapons gives it enough stopping power to be a real threat in the stars again.

SPECIAL FEATURES
Strengths:
  • Black, Star Speckled Paintjob: Makes them difficult to see in space or at night
  • Pseudo-Stealth Suite: A combination of TibannaX powered engines alongside thrust trace dampners and their small size makes them difficult to pick up on various kinds of sensors.
  • Fast: The SIV-X2s are incredibly fast and are meant to be fired out of drop pod bays. As such they meat their target very quick
  • Boarding: When launched at ships, the pointed drop pods can pierce the hulls of most ships, depositing their payload of tropps.
Weaknesses:
  • Small Count: Each pod can only hold 4 troops
  • No defenses: If they are noticed they can be shot down with little effort as they only have kinetic shielding
  • One way trip: The pods have very little ability to shift their pre-programmed flight plan meaning they are basically sitting ducks if spotted
  • Day Time: Because they are painted black they have some ability to blend in to space or the night sky, but day time drops are a little harder as their black form is easily spotted in the sky
DESCRIPTION
The SIV-X2 is the latest in drop pod technology from MandalMotors and MandalTech. Designed to be a versatile pod it has a hull strong enough to be fired from a drop pod bay and land on a planet with little to no damage to the soldiers inside. It can also be fired into an enemy ship, its kinetic shiielding protecting it from the impact of piercing through a capital ship's hull. Painted black and star speckled to blend in to the night sky and the inkly blackness of space, these stealth pods carry a payload of 4 troopers with enough storage to hold one medium to large sized weapon, a second primary weapon and other mission essentials. Like all of the Mandalorian drop pods to date ion shielding technology stolen from the Atrisian Empire aids in the pods ability to pierce through planetary shields. However, sometimes this can cause the drop pod's own kinetic barriers to fail ending with jumbled and disoriented troops.

  • Drop Pod Hangar
  • Basilisk Drop Hangar
Strengths:
  • Super Carrier: Originally designed to overwhelm the Sith Empire with their superior starfighters, the Mythosaur-class Super Carrier boasts six separate hangers capable of holding hundreds of fighters.
  • Defender: With its speed and ability to move freely severely lacking the Mandalorians implemented a Mandalorian Steel structure similar to the Alor-Class Battlecruiser. It sports a triple layer of Mandalorian Steel armor plating, with four around the slightly exposed internal bridge of the massive warship. It also sports several point defense weapons along its hull near the bridge.
  • Command Ship: Filling its role as a support ship, the Mythosaur contains complex communications networks and sensors allowing it to help coordinate Mandalorian fleets.
Weaknesses:
  • Slow: Because of its bulk the Mythosaur-class Battlecruiser is extremely slow, making it an easy target.
  • Unmanageable: The size of the battlecruiser makes making complex maneuvers difficult.
  • Exposed Rear End: Because of the ship's speed and limited ability to move, most of the time it is easier to just keep it in one place throughout a battle. Its point defense weapons are also focused more towards the front of the ship, leaving the rear engines open to attack.
  • Particle Shields: The Mythosaur-Class Super Carrier lacks strong Particle Shields, making mass driver canons and other ballistic weapons like missiles one of its biggest enemies.
Description: Originally designed prior to the Dark Harvest tragedy, the Mythosaur-Class Super Carrier saw limited use in its proto-type stage during the Mandalorian War against the Sith Empire where it famously singlehandedly destroyed the surface of their then capital world of Dromund Kaas. After the war however, MandalMotors slowed its own warship production as larger players like Mandal Hypernautics and ArmaTech Industries moved in to the market, slowing further development of the Mythosaur to a halt.

After the Mandalorian Civil War, Zeke Farthen uncovered several designs that had been shelved or left incomplete in the ruins of MandalMotors tower. With Keldabe and a new city, Kelita finished MandalMotors set to work on producing projects that Mandalore's destruction had stopped, including the production model of the Mythosaur-class Super Carrier.

Built with Mandalorian Steel honeycomb frame and armored hull, the beastly machine would rival the Alor-Class Battlecruiser in size at 3.5 Kilometers. With several hangars, a drop pod bay and even a hangar for the increasingly popular Basilisk War Droids the Mythosaur could field an incredible amount of starfighters, but not much else. While it had enough armor plating and weapons to defend itself for a time, its real purpose was to produce swarms of starfighters mid-battle to overwhelm an already exhausted enemy, making escorts imperative when using the ship. Borrowing from many Mandalorian designs, it also utilizes a compartmentalized design, offering individual functionality to the six main hangars and the bridge of the ship should it come under electronic attack or suffer severe damage. Complex hangar systems also provide the ability to shift starfighters into opposite hangars should they become severely damaged during a long battle.

Because it lacks the massive Hypermatter reactor of its predecessor, it lacks the redundant shields and powerful engines of its prototype model. In hopes of reducing damage to the slow, lumbering beast the integrated bridge was quadruple platted with Mandalorian Steel while the rest of the hull was triple plated. Its lack of particle shields makes it vulnerable to ballistic attacks, though this was deemed unimportant as outside of the Mandalorians, few factions used capital grade mass driver canons.

Unlike many of MandalMotors' warships, the Mythosaur was a ship made specifically for the Mandalorian Empire. Outside of extremely rare and difficult heists, the only ones flying in the Galaxy flew for Ra Viszla and his Mandalorian Empire.

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Compartmentalized Design
  • Large Hangar
Strengths:
  • Dual Hangar Launch Bay: Similar to the Mythosaur-class Supercarrier, the Bev'uliik-class cruiser's adjacent hangars utilize an emergency conveyor belt system to shift fighters into the opposite hangar should one become inoperable due to battle.
  • Compartmentalized Design: The ship's systems and different blocks can be powered individually and allows for the ship to continue fighting even in dire straights. Also allows for the ship to divert power from compromised sections to aid the remaining portions of the ship to function.
Weaknesses:
  • Exposed Hangar: Both of the ship's large hangars point forward and are very obvious making them easy targets, especially from the ship's sides.
  • Blind Spots: Both left and right sides of the ship are very lightly armed with light turbolaser turrets. While light turbolaser turrets are better against starfighters than standard turbolasers, they still lack in tracking speed to hit most interceptors or quick fighters. The rear of the ship is also woefully undefended.
Description: Taking design cues from the immensely successful re-launch of the Mythosaur-class as a line of dedicated supercarriers, the Bev'uliik-class carrier replaces the older Bes'bavar-class carrier as the mainstay carrier of the Mandalorian Empire. Phased out because of its cumbersome and dangerous hangar design, the BBC-120 steps in with innovations such as Mandalorian Steel, compartmentalized design, and an internal ship transfer system that keeps the ship's hangars active even if one is made inoperable in battle. All of these came from ships before it such as the Ordo-class frigate and MandalHypernautic's line of Mandalorian Steel plated ships. Slow and lumbering through the stars, the Bev'uliik prefers to travel in groups and should never be deployed alone as its light turbolaser turrets and point defense lasers are hardly enough to stop a full on assault. Despite that, two of these frigates dropping out of hyperspace to reinforce a fighter screen is a godsend with over 60 fighters, bombers, interceptors and gunships each tucked away in its two massive hangars.

Strengths:
  • Armor Plating: Ballistic attacks such as ship to ship missiles or mass drivers are less effective.
  • Compartmentalized Design: The ship will be able to fulfill its purpose as a command ship unless the bridge is destroyed.
  • Strong Sensor Suite: The sensor towers of the Ash'amur provide invaluable information to a fleet commander.
Weaknesses:
  • Sensor Tower: Destroying both sensor towers above and below the bridge will cut all audio, visual, and information feeds from entering the bridge, crippling the ship while the crew scrambles to get back-up feeds online, which even activated are inferior to the amount of information the sensor towers provided.
  • Weak Shields: Shifted focus from shields to more beefy armor has reduced shield strength.
Description: 'Ash'amur' – a warrior's death. The starship was originally developed based on advanced Mon Calamari designs with the goal of MandalMotors and the Mandalorians being to produce a ship of the line that could compete with the Star Destroyers of the Republic and the Sith Empire. During the Mandalorian war with the Sith Empire the Ash'amur served as a command ship alongside several other different dreadnought classes from Mandal Hypernautics and MandalMotors serving the warrior people well. After the destruction of Mandalore and the Mandalorian's fall from grace, much of its fleet and territory was lost, leaving the Mandalorians with ships several decades older than those in other systems. Thus, after Mand'alor Ra Viszla united the Mandalorian people and brought stability to the Mandalore Sector, MandalMotors and other Mandalorian companies were tasked with bringing the Mandalorian fleet back to standard.

Again based on a combination of Mandalorian and Mon Cal design language, it abandoned the typical wedge shape common in factions deriving themselves from the Republic or Empire. While the wedge design did have its advantages, they often almost exclusively favored front facing weapons, leaving their bridges and engines in the rear undefended. By contrast, the Ash'amur borrows from Mon Cal designs and spreads out its weapons throughout the entire ship, eliminating blind spots, a slight shift in design philosophy from the Ash'amur I-Class which relied heavily on short range, high powered front facing and broadside turbolasers. Scattered between these turbolasers were point defense systems that featured a mixture of mass driver and laser-based systems. Because Mandalorian ship-based shielding technology was rather standard, with some, including some of the designers of the Ash'amur II, even going as far as to call it inferior to the rest of the Galaxy's, the Ash'amur instead relies heavily on heavy Mandalorian Steel armor plating along side its shields. Foregoing the redundant shields of Mon Cal ships, the Mandalorian hull design was by and large superior to other ships in their class, providing much better armored protection from ballistic threats such as missiles and mass drivers, while also providing better heat and energy dispersion than durasteel and other common ship materials while also being lighter than alusteel.

A shift in Mandalorian ship design, championed by both MandalTech and Mandal Hypernautics, the Ash'amur II also shifted from a fully exposed bridge, to instead having a partially integrated bridge. Low to the hull of the ship, most of the command bridge is within the Ash'amur itself, with only the top, mostly armored viewports, being exposed. The command bridge relied heavily on sensors spread throughout the ship as well as the two command sensor towers extending from the top of the bridge and down from its underbelly. These units served as powerful signal boosters and data collection points and were essentially large computer rooms that were constantly crunching data, sending live fleet reports, and other crucial data to the bridge. The ship was also largely compartmentalized. Split into four sections including the bridge and the hangar as their own sections, each part could function independently of another, meaning that the ship could continue to fulfill its purpose as a command ship as long as the bridge was still active.

Despite these slight changes in defensive and offensive capabilities and appearing to be ready for an all out brawl, the Ash'amur still required supporting ships to do its job well. While one by itself was generally enough to keep small invading forces away, full on invasions or assaults would require other ships as its role had shifted from that of an equal brawler to a true command ship. It also gave up some of its hangar space to provide for a more powerful reactor which powers its greater weapons coverage.

Description: A design as old as time to the Mandalorian people, the Kandosii-Type dreadnought has served various iterations of the Mandalorians over thousands of years. While its initial design, like many old Mandalorian works, are unknown, its effectiveness as a front-line battleship cannot be denied. Undergoing several changes over its millennium of use, the Type IV sports probably one of the most important technological advances in Mandalorian history. Mandalorian steel has replaced the largely durasteel hull and armor plates, offsetting the relatively dated shield technology used by MandalMotors with its sturdy construction and best in class protection over common metals and materials like Durasteel and duraplast.

Strengths:
  • While most of the Pygmy II's turbolaser placements are forward facing, leaving the rear of the ship open to attack, there are several turbolasers positioned downward facing along its belly designed to pelt planets and planetside bases with turbolaser fire, leaving its belly one of its most well defended areas
  • The Pygmy II, just like its predecessor, is designed to cause havoc in an enemy fleet. Throwing off sensors with ghost ships and false positives while also providing its own fleet with crucial information such as enemy fleet movements and potential ambushes.
  • Dorsal hangar allows for quick starfighter and ship deployment
  • Compartmentalized design allows for ship to continue serving some sort of role in battle as it is slowly torn apart.
Weaknesses:
  • Dorsal Hangar is slow to open and close, leaving it vulnerable when launching fighters from the main hangar.
  • Large comand center that includes the bridge, secondary hangar, and various other important systems are heavily exposed.
  • Low armament leaves the RNCR Pygmy II outclassed in a brawl against even ships in its class.
Description: The RNCR Pygmy II-Class Cruiser was one of MandalMotors' most advanced ships. Toeing the edge between cruiser and star destroyer designation, the Pygmy II acted as a support ship to the Mandalorian armada. Where other ships in MandalMotors used slightly antiquated shielding technology, MandalMotors engineers spared no expense on the Pygmy II, doubling the ship's shield strength over its predecessor, the Pygmy I. Its hanger size was also increased, allowing for stronger deployments and support while this ship carries out its secondary role, occupation. While the original Pygmy was designed to take fights into the atmosphere of a planet, it was poorly equipped to do so alone. Supplied with support from a larger selection of fighters, transports and even two corvettes, it was able to hold sectors more effectively.

The advanced electronic warfare suit and sensor suite also made a return in the Pygmy II which provided much needed support within the Mandalorian armada. It was able to provide precise enemy ship movements, fool enemy sensors on a large scale, and was very difficult to slice into, even once on board mostly due to it adopting the compartmentalized design popularized by the Ordo-Class frigate and perfected in the Alor-Class Battlecruiser. The compartmentalized design of Mandalorian ships made them incredibly difficult to outright disable in battle, with the ship split into several self-sustained modules. This meant that without intricate knowledge of the ship, it would be very difficult to slice into any vital controls such as life support or sensors from any old data port like you could on most other ship types.

There were drawbacks to this level of Mandalorian tech. Unlike many of their more battle oriented cruisers and dreadnoughts, the Pygmy II's bridge was greatly exposed. In fact, most of the command center, sensor controls, and ship countermeasures were located in a large superstructure that held the secondary hangar as well. The main hangar as well, was a liability of sorts, as it was located in the bow of the cruiser and opened up to reveal a dorsal hangar that stretched all the way to the central command tower. While this allowed for slightly larger ships like the Mandalorian Gunship Mk. 2 to dock inside and launch fighters rapidly, the hangar doors opened and closed slowly, leaving the ship vulnerable.

The RNCR Pygmy II-class Cruiser was commissioned by order of the Mand'alor after the Civil War as part of the project to revitalize the Mandalorian military and economy. As a result, the Pygmy Is were replaced with the Pygmy IIs wherever they had originally been in the armada. Despite the phase out of the Pygmy I, MandalMotors continued to sell the used ships to small governments, private militaries, and other interested parties.

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Drop Pod Bays
  • Bes'uliiik Drop Hangar
  • Compartmentalized Power and System design
Strengths:
  • Flex-Tube Missile Launcher: Where most large capital ships prefer to have dedicated missile tubes for particular types of missiles, the Kandosii-Type IV does the opposite. All missile tubes are designed to fire a variety of different ordinances, allowing for switching missile types on the fly as needed.
  • Compartmentalized Build: Split into several sections throughout the ship, each section has the ability to function on its own should the ship come under electronic attack or should some areas become destroyed, allowing for a longer fight in bloody space brawls.
Weaknesses:
  • Limited Gun Movement: With all of its anti-capital ship weapons directed forward they have a limited range of movement, being completely incapable of firing behind it, leaving its engines open to attack from capital ships
  • Communication Tower: While not as vital as the bridge, the communication tower, like on the Ash'amur II is the focal point of data transmition for the ship. Destroying the tower severely cripples its ability to see the battlefield and coordinate with the fleet.
  • Cameras and Sensors: Dotted throughout the hull of the ship are various cameras and sensors that paint a picture of the outside world for the integrated bridge. Extensive hull damage can literally blind the ship before it is actually destroyed.
Description: A ship designed from the ground up to be a mainline ship-to-ship brawler for the Mandalorian Empire's new ambitions, the Kandosii-Type IV is the latest in a long line of Kandosii-Type dreadnoughts utilized by the Mandalorians. Slightly redesigned to more easily accommodate atmospheric flight the large and unwieldy belly superstructure that in previous models held hundreds of missiles was removed in favor of slightly better maneuverability. Like many newer Mandalorian ships, the new Kandosii-Type IV Dreadnought also sports a completely integrated bridge and a compartmentalized design that keeps the ship shooting even if the hangar and engines are dead.

Where the original Kandosii-Type dreadnought put most of its fire power into missiles and medium range turbolasers, the Type IV instead makes use of powerful mass driver batteries and long-range turbolasers. Dotted across its hull are point defense lasers and flak cannons designed to deter starfighters and take out incoming missile fire. Unfortunately, as a more traditional design, the ship's weapons are mostly pointed forward, allowing for some movement such as up, down, forward, or broadside, but the ship's large sensor tower and shape blocks much of the ship's anti-capital ship weapons from firing behind it and even lowers anti-starfighter defenses' effectiveness.

ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Modular Drop Pod Bay
  • Bes'uliik Droid Drop Bay
Strengths:
  • Fast Attacker: With above average speed and decent fire power, the Kotep-class Cruiser is quick to respond to threats and intruders and can duke it out with most smaller ships and even a few larger ship classes.
  • Compartmentalized Design: As this is a refit of the Kom'rk-class, the Kotep has gained the compartmentalized build that has become a staple in MandalMotors war ships. Its compartmentalized design makes it so that sections of the ship in dire situations can continue to function on their own power source and can even stop slicers in their tracks by disconnecting its systems from the greater ship-wide network. Because of this, even when incredibly damaged, the ship can still function in some capacity, either to retreat to fight another day or to continue the fight.
Weaknesses:
  • Poor Shield Design: Despite the Kotep-Class being a refit of the Kom'rk, MandalMotors shield design hasn't been up to par with growing industry standards. Still content with using shield tech from the final days of the Gulag Plague, the Kotep has not benefited from the advancements in shield technology that some of MandalMotors' other ships have. This leaves the Kotep-class at a disadvantage as the ship's shields being so weak means other ships can attack the Kotep from longer ranges.
  • Minimal Point Defense: The Kotep-class cruiser is made to support and fight larger ships in combat. Because of this, most of its arsenal are turbolaser and heavy turbolaser batteries, sacrificing defense against fighters for raw damage in a ship-to-ship brawl.
Description: Designed for ship to ship combat and deploying hundreds of troops at a time via its drop pod bay, the Kotep-class cruiser was a refit of the slightly older Kom'rk-Class cruiser. The name was changed so as to not confuse with the returning Kom'rk-class Support Fighter/Transport. Keeping mostly the same design as its predecessor, the Kotep-class cruiser saw its hull replaced with the innovative Mandalorian Steel, used to compensate slightly for its poor shield design. Other advances such as compartmentalized ship design. It was made to serve as a system patrol ship for the Mandalorians but serves in the Mandalorian Empire's fleet as an anti-capital ship cruiser.

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • None
Strengths:
  • Devastating: At its intended range, the Mandalorian Pulse Caster is a devastating weapon. Designed to take down Mythosaurs, this primitive weapon could potentially damage or take down a starfighter.
  • Accurate: While true accuracy is dependent on the user, similarly to the the Wookie Bowcaster and Lightbow, the weapon puts the projectile where the user points and aims it with little error.
Weaknesses:
  • A Trained Hand: The Mandalorian Pulse Caster is an ancient weapon with a very, very slow reload time when compared to standard blasters within the last few thousand years
  • Weapon Range: The Mandalorian Pulse Caster is only useful at medium to long range making it utterly useless at short ranges, to the point of standard military armors and even spacer's leather being able to shrug off shots from it at close range. Even at medium range blows are rarely fatal.
  • Collector's Item: The weapon as little use in actual combat as it is incredibly difficult to maintain.
  • Fire: While the weapon is treated to resist some heat and energy transfer, the bows are mostly made of wood and metal and as such will catch fire or belt. Slagging these bows is incredibly easy.
DESCRIPTION
The Mandalorian Pulse Caster, colloquially known as Sacarhr, the Mando'a word for bow, was a powerful weapon that predated pulse wave cannons or blasters. One of many precursors to the hand held pulse-wave blaster, it was a long-range weapon utilized by the Taung and early Mandalorian tribes as one of their main ranged weapons and were used alongside standard bows and slugthrowers. Made to take down the massive creatures of Mandalore such as the Beskar Epar and Mythosaur it was not a weapon to be reckoned with. Battles with these weapons could often be heard for miles as it had a distinct sound that came from the energy enveloped projectile being thrown through a tube and launched from through a crude magnetic accelerator.

The Mandalorian Pulse Caster fired a magnetically accelerated projectile. In order to prime the weapon the user had to pull back a metal rod that after being pulled into place and released would generate an energy field around the projectile and launch it through the barrel until it passed between the two arms of the bow-shaped weapon. These polarizing arms would generate a magnetic field that would then propel the energy propelled projectile through the air and into the target. This was done because technology of the time could not maintain packets of coherent energy at all without aid from a magnetic field and something to help keep its form. Thus, unlike the pulse-wave cannons that would come after that had problems keeping packets of coherent energy at long ranges, the Pulse Caster could not even puncture the treated hide of ancient Mandalorian armor at short ranges and even medium range blows were rarely fatal. This concept of an energy enveloped projectile would go on to inspire the Mandalorian Ripper later on.

As thousands of years passed and the Mythosaur became a distant memory to the Mandalorian people, the Pulse Caster stayed, one of the few relics of that ancient time. It is now hand crafted by few beskar smiths, usually made with whatever Mandalorian tree is local to the smith along with durasteel or Mandalorian Steel. In rare instances, expensive collector bows are made with beskar*, though these were often required to be specially ordered. The Pulse Caster now is often used to train young Mandalorians marksmanship as the bow takes an incredible amount of precession to use effectively. The bow has become even more rare since the destruction of Mandalore and the Civil War. Toys made in its likeness are popular with Mandalorian Children and fire colored, soft, chunks of plastic. Because it makes use of ancient pulse-wave technology it is often barred as an illegal weapon in most of civilized space and territories.

*Indicates that users recognize beskar variants will require subs with the Unique production value with either a company, workshop, or individual smith as the Manufacturer
