Scherezade eyed the white haired woman, her eyes narrowing. She had to focus very carefully to understand what it was she was trying to say. While she'd been on Tythe, she could not recall anyone there talking like… That. Then again, she hadn't really met the upper caste of class of that planet, so it was quite possible that they all spoke like in that manner.

Not sure she was being addressed at all, Scherezade was more than content to let Krystal do some of the talking before she realized her new shopping friend was giving her a signal to introduce herself as well. Nodding, she said plainly "Scherezade deWinter, Pathfinder with the Knights Obsidian." The words flew so naturally out of her mouth; it was hard to believe that she wasn't really, not anymore, yet her job with the Ministry of Secrets was meant to be kept confidential, so she could hardly introduce herself as a Crow.

It seemed they would embark on their journey then.

It was less than five minutes later that they were at a different block of shops and boutiques, with new scents and smells to entertain their noses. Scherezade smiled, pointing at the place she had passed before. "Here," she nodded, and pointed. And prayed that they had some salty things they could enjoy, "all your sugary desires, in one lovely smelling place. Please remember to book an appointment with your dentist for tomorrow!"

As they continued to walk the pink woman happened to snag a 'sample' or two along the way. Place was made of chocolate seemed like. Xobos might even catch the Zeltron's body undulating back and forth with a little rhythm to her step. Not that she danced to the frilly ambient music; it was way too mellow. Place could do with a little more oomf, you know? Needed a Zeltron's touch. No one complained when they were on Zeltros about their taste in festivities anyway. Might be a biased sample.

When the Miraluka responded about the order, Cali's eyes snapped right back on the pretty lady. "Master, huh?" A few bobs of the head followed Xobos' statement, but nothing else. Cali was still all smiles and sunshine, however, anytime the Miraluka checked. Even her aura hadn't diminished in the slightest. Like, 'Master' was totally a common title in certain parts of the galaxy. Not all of them meant exactly the same thing either. Far as the sprite could tell, Xobos wasn't one of those abused slave types forced to do whatever their Master -- aka Owner -- wanted. If she were then she hid it pretty well.

Booty wiggling to another beat, Cali was surprised when Xobos put a hand on her shoulder and the two of them gazed into one anothers' eyes. Okay, into a pretty, decorative blindfold.

Wait, Cali could come with her? Like, that'd been the plan the whole time. Xobos really should be careful about tempting a girl with special chocolate and not delivering. That said, sounded like this order was spoken for. So Cali had come prepared -- she had no less than two giant chocolate bars in her left hand. And she had been munching on a chocolate truffle held in her right one.

A few quick blinks of her bright eyes followed Xobos' confession of enjoying the Zeltron's company. A brilliantly white grin parted her pink lips. Before she could offer a verbal response, however, a word of caution followed and the grin vanished in favor of rapt attention.

Now the way Xobos phrased that... Master probably wasn't garbage, but he sounded severe. Like... Like....... Oh, the Force! Cali smiled as she reached out metaphysically to feel Xobos' aura. That kind of Master. And probably that kind of Master, if you caught a girl's gist. You know, a Sith Lord. The kind a girl could smack if they tried taking her chocolate.

"Don't worry 'bout me, Xobos," she replied cheerfully. "Most people don't know it when they first meet me, but I actually deal with all sorts of business people. I won't run around and chatting their ears off. See? I even brought rations." The small assortment of bars were held up for inspection. "You get this special order, and then maybe we can hang out, right? Hey," a thought struck her, "if you need any help with transporting the merch, I have a ship that can carry a huge load. Just label it eggplants or something."

Even if the grin was only a momentary thing, Xobos couldn’t help but smile lightly at the thought that she had made the Zeltron happy. Although it didn’t seem like the hardest thing to do, for sure, it was still nice to know that she had that ability. It had been too long since she had genuinely made someone happy, more often than not simply pleasing someone had her feeling accomplished. Yet there was something about hanging out around this pink alien that did give the Miraluka a genuine sense of happiness.

And the fact that Cali decided to agree with her terms, and even seemed happy about it, did give Xobos a sense of ease about bringing the alien with her. Hopefully she wouldn’t attempt to eat the shipment of specialized chocolate. Or at least, the apprentice would be able to catch her in the act. Though by the looks of it, being that Cali had somehow managed to sneak two large chocolate bars and a truffle from somewhere without her noticing, that would be a futile task. She would just have to trust that this chocolate hungry being wouldn’t do anything that would get her in trouble with Adron.

“You’re sure this the best idea, little master?” The Miraluka couldn’t help but grumble lightly at Ambrus’s words, though there wouldn’t be anything intelligible for the Zeltron to comprehend. With everything settled, the pair began their trek into the labs, which were whitewashed hallways with glass labs on either side all the way down them. As Cali began to offer up her ship, Xobos shook her head in response, giving the taller creature a smile. “You admittedly make a nice offer..but I have my own shuttle. Besides, it should just be a crate of samples, basically.”

The lab that Xobos was looking for would be labeled under a dr. hajina, whom was a personal contact of her master. Obviously, this deal would be one that was under the table a bit, even so much as Xobos having no idea if this was a matter the other two Exarch’s knew about. Not trying to think of it too much while the pair walked, she looked toward her newly made friend, giving her a soft smile. “So. Why did you come here? I mean, who are you, outside of a chocolate lover of the most extreme?” This question was double sided, as Xobos hoped to get some answers about the alien, while also distracting her from all the special chocolate they were passing as they walked.

"Just a crate? Why so little?" Guess the factory wasn't going anywhere technically, but surely this Master had deep pockets, right? Maybe he had a secret chocolate addition. Harder to hide huge stockpiles. Plus you'd have to keep it cool so it didn't melt and stick to the wrapper. Ooh, Cali hated when that happened. It was so hard to lick all the chocolate off -- harder than just munching on a bar of the stuff, anyway.

As they entered the research and development part of the factory Cali's eyes did in fact grow larger. She managed to keep walking at Xobos' side, but there was no mistaking the fact the Zeltron's attention was elsewhere. "Wow," she breathed.

A soft hum followed Xobos' questions before Cali turned to look at the Miraluka. Oh, right, she totally shouldn't neglect her new friend. "I came here for the chocolate, but I'm staying for the company." Cali giggled before gently bumping into Xobos' side. "Oh, you know us Zeltrons," she replied absently before meeting Xobos' gaze again, "hop on the nearest ship trying to return something someone left behind, get swept away in galactic affairs, end up working with a company with an insanely playful attitude. We make the dark places brighter so people don't get too entrenched in the same old ways, you know?"

"I travel to lots of places to settle deals and exchange goods. See lots of people. New places. Weird stuff too." Her upper body turned a bit so Cali could look over at Xobos a little easier as they walked, "What I said earlier, totally didn't mean anything by it. I'd give Jedi equal opportunity slaps for laying a hand on my chocolate stash. But lets be honest, a Jedi Master isn't going to steal my chocolate." A Sith totally would. They didn't even need to like chocolate; just the very act of denial would give some of them pleasure. Different strokes and whatever, but it was not a healthy lifestyle move to touch Cali's goods.

"But don't keep me in suspense!" A moment as the bars were shuffled into her other arm, then she wrapped a hand down and around to Xobos' hand. "Tell me about you."

"Can I say I told you so? Because I totally told you so."

Lyra laughed at her dad as she too began to explore the chocolate factory. It had taken weeks of nagging to get Taramaz to agree to take her, and she would savour every damn minute. Walls of sugary rock candy and enormous chocolate fountains abounded -- factory was a misnomer, for this was more of a chocolate wonderland. She was careful to only take small samples of everything, for she certainly didn't want to stuff herself before they even got past the first room. She had no such qualms, however, when it came to things she shoved into her black backpack -- for whatever-you-can-eat surely extends to later, too.

Her smile grew wider as she watched her dad drink from a chocolate fountain. She crept up behind him and with a large shove splashed chocolate all over him. Laughing, she danced away from the fountain to avoid an immediate retaliation. "Wow, you have chocolate all over your face!! And you say that I'm a messy eater?"

Used to be an imperial pilot, now sitting at some washed up casino under a peacetime chocolate factory trying to get drunk. No sorrier way to go.

All judgements aside, Arlen found himself getting wrapped up in the story Keira wove for him. Asking for a medal was really the only proper way to get one, anyways -- and enough had come through his smuggling ring that he didn't have some inflated notion of their value, sentimental or otherwise.

Winning a fighter in a card game is really something... Arlen didn't like to play anything with high stakes like that unless he had a backup plan (including, but not limited to, a literal militia, extra aces, some life debts, or a military grade explosive). That being said, after his job tonight, Arlen would have some cash to spare. May as well start to have fun with it now.

As the woman spoke, Arlen had been watching the other hands at other tables play out. It wasn't a game of one hand, but rather, the consequential money was given to the overall winner at the end of the round.

So when he lost first to the woman, he did not hesitate. "Beginners round. Play me again -- and for something real this time."

Arlen hand jangled as he poured some credits into the center of the table. It was certainly not the highest bet he'd ever made, but with his employment tonight -- and an idiot's array up his sleeve -- it was certainly a sizeable amount. "Not quite a fighter pilot, but hopefully it will do to buy you some drinks tonight."

Speaking of -- Arlen downed the rest of his drink and nabbed another off a passing server droid. This would be his last one tonight. Probably.

If Xobos was to be completely honsest, her blushing had begun plenty before the Zeltron has bumped into her. The subtle touches, bright smiles in her direction from genuinely liking being around the Miraluka had her blushing lightly pink around the cheeks. But the moment that Cali said around she was staying for the company, the pinkness was surely more apparently. She just wasn’t used to this kind of attention from a creature that was admittedly, very pretty.

She did her best to completely forget the feelings that she was experiencing, instead focusing on the reason she had been sent here in the first place, taking Cali’s curiousity as an opportunity to change the subject to that. “It’s a sample, more than anything. He wants to make sure it’s practical enough for the troops before making a full order of the stuff. I’m here to make sure that the sample makes it back to him unscaved.” Not that there should be too much danger for a box of chocolate. Though as her eyes glanced sideways, watching Cali devour chocolate at a seemingly impossible pace, and producing it from practically thin air, she understood how the protection just might be needed for something like this.

As Cali began to detail who she was, vaguly giving hints about just what she did for a living, which somewhat sounded like being a contracted smuggler. Or dealer. Someone that might be interesting enough to keep around. Ambrus, who seemed to read her thoughts at every turn, was quick to agree. “Even if she is quite…emphatic about some things, it might not be the worst idea to keep her around…” If even Ambrus was beginning to come around, Xobos could almost be assured that this was a path worth proceeding down. Though, she obviously like to learn a bit more about the creature. And just as she was about to ask yet another question of Cali, the Zeltron decided to reach down to the shorter woman and grab her hand.

Althought she kept walking, Xobos could feel her body practically freeze up at the feeling of the warm hand encompassing her own. It was powerful, enjoyable grip, that had her stumbling over her words. “I-I-I..” She stammered, trying to get her mind to form some sort of words in response to Cali’s question. Eventually she just swallowed, allowing her hand to stay locked with the taller aliens. “I..do what I am told. I am an apprentice under a sith master, one of the exarchs for the Confederacy. He…took me in, when he found me on Roon.” The particularly harder memories had the smile on her face lessoning, and, unbeknownst to her consciousness, gripping on the Zeltron’s hand a tiny bit harder. Her voice fell quiet as the pair walked, approaching the labs where the apprentice would pick up the shipment. She felt bad for hurting the conversation, but thinking back on those times was still like picking at a fresh wound.

Oh, a sample. Well, yeah, a crate would totally do for just a sample. Cali wasn't crazy or anything to think that wasn't enough. It'd totally make her inch across the floor the next morning after a crate. Good call by 'Master.' But then Xobos said 'for the troops.' "Wait, a sample for the troops?" Wide eyed, Cali looked over at the Miraluka with haste to her voice, "That totally isn't enough." Like, how many troops? Probably a lot of troops. What, they were all getting a single bar? Would it even be a bar? What was this 'Master' thinking?! Master of bad planning, maybe.

Emergency aside, Cali liked holding Xobos' hand. It was warm. Maybe a bit calloused, but that just meant Xobos was a strong, working girl. Probably why she needed so much attention. Like, a little break or something? Couldn't walk around all serious and proper and stuff all the time. Have a little fun. Break all the rules every once and a while. Except murder. Murder wasn't cool. And a few others-- Anyway, all work and no play made a sad Miraluka. Cali figured it was her duty (and her pleasure) to make sure this pretty woman got some good Zeltron pampering.

Though for some reason Xobos had trouble talking all of a sudden. It drew a wide-eyed stare from Cali before her other hand circled about to clasp the woman's hand between two pink ones. A little reassurance Xobos could say whatever she like... That would probably only compound the situation. Where had the chocolate gone? Well, there had been this faint sliding and crinkling sound, but Cali hadn't looked and it was unlikely the Miraluka could focus on anything at the moment. Surprisingly though the Zeltron hadn't noticed losing a remaining bar or two.

"Yeah, I get that," Cali said before she pressed up along the slightly shorter one's side, hand still cradled in her own. "But you know, Xo, that's not all there is to life. We all have a job or a lifestyle, and that's cool; but sometimes you got to break free. Just for a moment. See the world. Find a cute girl. Have a drink, or a chocolate bar. Otherwise, what's the point? Sometimes I think Big Time Sith forget the little stuff. And you know what, Xo?" Cali smiled. "Life's made of the little stuff."

Allya laughed softly, and watched the adorable, nervous little girl. Oh she could feel the dark side on the girl. It wasn't as if the child hid it. But she ignored it. It came off of her as well. It was pretty common in the CIS after all. “Mmm, chocolate bars are just plain good. And nuts huh? For me though, fruits covered in chocolate are the best. Don't know why, but I love them. And nah, not really. I'm not around them very much, if I'm being honest.” It was reality. She hadn't seen her mother in months, and her dad...well, she saw him semi-regularly, but didn't honestly spend too much time with him lately. They were just both busy. And Jerek was still training as a Jedi, spending most of his time doing that, so, she wasn't really around anyone. Now, her sister was close by, but...she was often on dates or other things. So it was whatever!

“How about you?” Allya walked towards the interior of the factory, and shook her head. Her frizzly hair poofed out a bit, and her nose wrinkled. To be honest, she preferred it when it was straight, but it happened. Her eyes went wide, as she looked around at the chocolate fountains, the marshmallow trees, and everything else. “Whoa...Layla, this is insane! What do you think?”

"You can't win Sabaac on a house deck." It's house biased enough, anyways.

Good thing, then, that Tia carried several of her own in the small bag she wore (along with makeup, explosives, some chapstick, and the like). Placing it on the table, she watched as Voph began to count his chips. She had only a small amount that she had purchased earlier, for losing credits was not something she did often. And even with its chance element, she felt pretty confident that she could beat this old man at the game.

"So what's the deal with your getup, if you don't mind me asking?" Voph was dressed more for the battlefield than a night at the raceways, and unless there was some invasion happening later on tonight that Tia was woefully unaware of, he seemed quite out of place. He would not meet her eyes, but Tia knew somehow this was not because of a lack of confidence -- surely the man had that in spades -- but rather simply a lack of respect for societal niceties. He was wearing a suit of armour, for gods sake. He wasn't going to shake her hand.

Tia stole a glance at her cards, before placing them face down on the table. Her face gave away nothing, and she would wait for the man to respond before anything else.

The small monster followed the new lady. She seemed nice enough. The darkness that wafted from Allya was comforting to Layla, and caused her to relax. As they entered the main room, her eyes went wide. It was like living in a dream, and everything she ever wanted in anything ever. She bounced on her toes, and rocked a bit. “It's...it's better than I dreamed of, Allya. So much better.” The girl giggled and ran over to the fountain. She already had her eyes set on everything. Soon, she ran here, she ran there, and over there.....like a hyper teddy bear..Rawr. Happy doodle oh what fun. And she had someone to share it with, so she didn't feel lonely either. It was a good day.

She picked up some of the chocolate “water” running under the ground in a small cup and drank it. It was like melted chocolate paradise! Then, a bit of the mint grass stuff....and this over there, whatever that thing was. After she was done, she ran over to Allya and bounced more, offering her some of the spoils of the grand war against the area she had recovered! “Here!” For this moment, death, hunger, survival all of it was placed to the side, and she simply acted like the 12 year old she was. It was a happy time.

Lyra whipped her head around to see the girl who had spoken to her, mentally berating herself for not keeping a sharper lookout. Sure, she was in a chocolate wonderland, but she still had to keep watch -- for nowhere in the galaxy was truly safe.

That being said, the girl -- woman -- seemed rather nonthreatening. Lyra smiled shyly at her words. "I don't know, fruit in chocolate seems like a bit of a cop-out to me. If you're going to go for sugar, go for sugar."

Aside from the cheap candy bars she would purchase with her pocket credits and hide in her room, Lyra hadn't had actual candy in what felt like forever. Honestly, it had probably only been a couple years (she vividly remembered a chocolate birthday cake for her fifteen), but all that mattered was that she could have whatever she wanted, now.

The transaction caused her to miss his skillful toss of his cup into the garbage near the register, but rest assured that the dust bunnies in the corners of the shop were up in arms over the raw talent that had likely just narrowly missed the intergalactic grav-ball scene in the form of the current Vicelord of the Confederacy.

With the transaction concluded and the bag containing their books slung over her arm, Valencia followed after her companion as he ushered the pair from the shop and back onto the brilliantly sunny street. Reaching atop her head the former Viceroy tugged down the pair of simple black shades that had been nestled into her pin straight hair. It helped with the glare - and also just gave her a general air of being cooler than she had been only a moment ago... Painfully expensive sunglasses would do that, it seemed.

As the pair turned to continue along in the direction they'd originally been walking, the blonde placed her hand against the arm that he offered and turned a smile that dazzled nearly as much as the sun off the reflective material of her lenses. "I haven't seen the inside of an Artisian tea shop in what feels like years. So long as you're buying I'm game." She dropped her gaze back down to the street before them as they continued on and listened keenly as he began to explain this new minister position he was considering. As he paused at the corner of the street to await a signal that it was safe to cross she turned her face up to his once more, tugging her glasses down the bridge of her nose with once finger as she squinted up at him.

"I know I've been out of the game for a spell, Metus - but it sounds like you've been considering this for quite some time..." Her thought was cut short as the soft chirp of the signal indicated it was time for them to continue and she gently pushed her glasses up, releasing his arm to allow her to move easily into the street and cross towards the tea shop he'd motioned to earlier. As the pair closed the distance to the entrance she glanced over her shoulder and up at him. "I assume you've taken into consideration those systems that don't wish to allocate any of their land to our uses?" One delicate hand raised as she coiled her hand around the handle of the door to the shop and tugged it open, motioning for him to step through.

Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

As evening turned into night and more lights flickered on Umgul, it seemed that the smells and scents of the chocolate and candy factories mixed even heavier into the air.

The Confederates resumed to roam about. Some of them formed brand new friendships in some of the most unlikely places. Others, attempted to flirt, though given the circumstances, were they initiating, or merely responding to pheromones they were not aware were part of the game? And of course there were always those who visited the smell shops, sipped their coffee or hot chocolate, and stared deeply or creepily into each other's eyes.

The tour of the Fondine Chocolate Factory went without a hitch, though most of those who attended were some lesser known faces of the Confederacy, as the more prominent members preferred to experience the planet itself.

All in all, the entire chocolate festival was branded a great success, and Umgul could truly be proud that it had more to offer than its casinos and gamblings. Many of the Confederates agreed that they would be using some off time to visit again, and many returned home that night, carrying small sweet souvenirs in their backpacks, to remind them of that evening's sweetness.

Xobos’s breath hitched, legitimately, as the woman to her right decided to clasp her two hands around the Miraluka’s, clasping them between two extremely soft and lovely hands. It surprised her momentarily, and didn’t help how she was already struggling to speak a bit, but the reassurance, as well as the speech from Cali, did give her the strength to speak again, even if it was on the toughest subject of her life. “If I am to be honest with you Cali, it is harder for me to enjoy the smaller things, or even take time to do so. My training takes up almost all of my time, and for the other parts of time I do have to myself, I take it to meditate. So I can..deal with certain aspects of my mindset. Does that make sense?”

In all honesty, she knew it didn’t make too much sense on the surface. Not without telling Cali all of what was going on would it make complete sense. But there wasn’t exactly time for that right now. Especially not now that the pair had made it to the lab, which of course, was the moment that Xobos pulled her hand away from the Zeltron’s, looking up to her quickly afterward. “Not that I mind particularly, but..business time. I’m sorry.” She gave her a sorrowful smile, before turning back to the door, taking a deep breath, and proceeding inside.

It was much to what Xobos had expected it would look like. Multiple huge containers of bacta sitting near the corner of the room, obviously used to the infusing of the chocolate. That, also looked about as good as she thought it would. The chocolate was a dark looking color, except for the white blue colored looking circles that were about as big as the Miraluka’s pinky nail sprinkled throughout the bars. Edible bacta would be huge for the medical field, especially if this stuff was as good as they had been promised. Even if it wasn’t, well, she could be expected come back here eventually. Maybe a little less nice.

Her eyes then fell on the crates of the packed chocolate sitting in the corner, smiling lightly, knowing they were for her. Heading over that way, however, she was stopped by a taller man wearing one of those white scientist coats, who lorded over her lightly, causing her to take a step back to keep the space. Considering the other species in this laboratory, he might have been the only human that Xobos had seen. He regarded her with distrust, before plainly stating, “My name is doctor Kyin Halineys. I assume you are here to pick up your one crate of the chocolate?” His words had the Miraluka standing there, blinking as if she didn’t hear what he had said correctly.

She grumbled lightly, brow furrowing as she responded. “Sir…we ordered two crates of this chocolate. We’ve already paid in advance for two.” The scientist just regarded the miraluka with a smirk, ignoring the Zeltron for a moment. This just stunk of deception, attempting to lie to her about the payment to get away with giving less product. Ambrus, one to always take thing to the extreme, quickly said in her mind, “Better to just kill him. I highly doubt anyone would miss a slimy scientist.” While Xobos didn’t exactly agree with Ambrus, her hand slowly reached down to her double bladed lightsaber anyway. Perhaps she could just scare him into giving the full order. She didn’t want to have to kill anyone today. Not that she would hesitate, of course.

Cali didn't blink as Xobos spoke, a wide smile spread across her face. When she finished, the pink one gave a bob of her head. "I don't know what mindset you mean," she totally didn't immediately think 'hearing voices' as the first possibility, "but I totally get it. Spend a little of that meditating on what I said though, 'kay?" Did what Cali had said make sense? Cause it sounded like Xobos needed to chillax more than most. Way too much tension and absolutely no personal time. Poor thing was begging for help.

With a soft sigh and a patient smile, the Zeltron slipped in through the doorway after Xobos. Business time. Maybe Cali would need to kidnap the pretty thing? An amusing thought, but not a skill in her particular bag.

Bright eyes peered at the bacta tanks as Xobos led the way. Was that the secret sauce? Just for the special order? Did they have extra special flavors back here? Suppose the chemicals helped downplay the overwhelming aroma of chocolate throughout the factory. Nice, it helped a girl keep her head. Though Cali couldn't help but wonder what one of the special bars would taste like. Would they have samples?

When the Miraluka stopped and backed up a step, her companion stopped and tipped her head to one side to look at the big man in the way. White coat? Oh, was he one of the chocolate makers? A designer? Flavor expert? Oh, oh, special deliveries guy! Hadn't expected it to be a Human. Yeah, they were everywhere, but in a place like this? Was almost like, uh, what did they call it -- Heaven. Were Humans in Heaven? Probably. Their concept, right?

A quiet yawn escaped the pink woman, her hands stretching high into the air as she stepped forth. When her hands fell back down, however, they draped themselves about either side of Xobos; gently clasped together over the Miraluka's belly. Cali peered around Xobos's head at Kyin-man. "Hi. I'm Cali Ziiva with Whimsy's Uncommon Means of Destruction -- and Birthday Parties. I heard this place had some of the best chocolate the galaxy had to offer, and as a chocolate aficionado I totally see why. Now, I know Umgul isn't interested in means of destruction, but you know a girl like me gets around. I travel from one side of the galaxy to the other. I meet all sorts of people. Morally upstanding. Morally bankrupt. Rich. Ultra rich. And you know what a lot of them have in common?" There was hardly a moment for the man to even open his mouth if he'd a thought to. "That's right, they love chocolate. I have met so many people that would love an opportunity to make contact with the 'right person' here. You know? Get a good deal on quality merch? Be kind of a waste if a good word was lost over a sample, wouldn't it?"

If Xobos’s face was red before, then the moment that Cali wrapped her arms around her midsection, she turned completely and utterly tomato red. She was practically frozen as those warm, strong, controlling arms wrapped around her and making sure she knew that Cali was right there. Even as the Zeltron began to speak to the scientist, speaking as though she was trying to peacefully defuse the situation. If she didn’t play along very soon, then the doctor might get suspicious of what exactly may be really going on here. Ora was quick to agree, adding, “Play along little master. It seems like this one knows what’s she’s doing. It’ll be good to learn.”

Xobos didn’t disagree, knowing that whatever she did in the next few moments would be paramount to making the scientist fall for the act. So, taking a small exhale, she slowly leaned back into the woman’s warm embraced, leaning her head back against the taller alien’s shoulders. Her hands slowly reached down to clasp themselves over Calis, actually, in the back of her mind, enjoying the embrace like she never had. It, again, made her feel wanted and liked. She even, for a moment, forgot where they were and what they were doing. However, Cali finishing her little speech brought her back to reality quickly as she watched the man consider her offer.

And, if his face was any indication, he was actually buying the whole thing. Maybe Cali did have all these connections, not that Xobos knew for sure. She just hoped that doing this wasn’t locking the zeltron down to having to do something for the man. Still, he nodded, quickly looking over his datapad once again and giving a faux thinking sound. “Hm…I wonder..ah, that must’ve been it. I just miscalculated the shipment size. I’ll fix that now.” He gave a nod to both of them, though, Xobos noticed, he focused mainly on making sure the Zeltron heard him.

The miraluka watched as the man left the main research room, walking into what she assumed was the shipping room in the back. She grumbled lightly, mocking his excuse. “Definitely miscalculated..oh I’m sure that must’ve been it…” Obviously she was a bit grumpy that she wasn’t the one to make him rethink his idea of ripping her off, not that she didn’t like having Cali’s help. Speaking of which, she realized that neither she nor the zeltron had moved, and she couldn’t say she wanted to move at the moment.

While the man worked to get the inventory correct, xobos looked up to the zeltron, giving her a little bit of a smile while she did so. “thank you, Cali. For you help and..for this.” While saying so, she leaned back more into Cali’s arms, content to just stay there for a few more moments.

Motivation: Zeltron Likes Company

Cali's smile was all the warmer and her eyes all the brighter as Xobos relaxed into her embrace. Wow, like, Xobos was totally relaxed and chill right then. No more deathstick-craziness on her mind at all. Really, it was for the best a girl didn't go murdering a man in the factory. Would get super legally complicated, and then there was Cali, and she'd have to think about how it's look for Whimsy... Just way too much stuff they didn't need in their lives. So, obviously, a little physical contact, some reassurance, and a little wink-wink with the guy and everything was set.

A giggle followed the man's seemingly absent statement. "Yeah, those can totally complicate a good deal. I know there'll be plenty of satisfied customers in the future now." Really, Cali hadn't promised anything. She'd still make good on it. Like, this was a chocolate factory. Some people liked chocolate. 'Hey, go to the Chocolate Factory!' No brainer. Wasn't like they were going to paint the logo on the hull of her ship. Twinkle Doom wouldn't even let Cali paint it pink!

When the man left the Zeltron hadn't tried moving on her own accord just like Xobos. Feeling the other woman in her arms felt really nice. Like, she could feel the Miraluka's complete satisfaction at just being in that moment. Cali felt the same way. Why hurry to part, right? In fact, her arms might have secured themselves just a hair snugger. The way Xobos looked back and up at her Zeltron supporter... those soft lips quietly expressing the woman's appreciation...

Wow, uh, it was totally warm in that laboratory. Maybe they should, like, give a girl a place to crash and wait it out. "You know, I wouldn't mind doing this again... Helping you, that is." The smile was a total cover, not that Cali was trying to hide her real intent. But Xobos felt so good right then. A huge difference than before. She needed Cali in her life just like that Jedi Master had. Some really deep issues needed worked out, and Cali was the Zeltron to do it.

"So," Cali leaned her head down a bit, her voice softening with how close her lips were to the woman's ear, "want to get these crates loaded and then find somewhere comfortable?" A sofa, a couch, a little comfy floor mat by a fire. Or maybe just a picnic blanket out in front of a giant chocolatefall. No need to rush off somewhere, right?
