Faction Tutaminis (All Jedi)

Klar chuckled quietly, patting her forearms with each hand in a complicated-looking X cross when Kell Masaara Kell Masaara complimented them. "Thanks. Got 'em for my birthday. Never leave home without 'em."

"I hope I don't make it look too easy, I just tend to pick stuff up quick - got a real," she makes tactical use of air quotes, " 'vibe based' understanding of the Force; I think I get you. It's hard to visualize, y'know, not doing something, letting go - it's gotta go somewhere before it goes out, right?" She shakes her head, "That was the hardest part for me, and I'm still not super nailing it, I think. I can't just," she frowns slightly, making a gesture with her hands that doesn't really communicate anything meaningful - though, that may be the point, "get the hole open."

"No lie, I really do love that for you." Klar promised earnestly, adjusting her sitting position to be slightly more relaxed and slightly less meditative. One leg stretched, one raised, leaning back on her lower arms with her upper hands draped over her knee. "I'm sure it's one of those things where the first step is the hardest. It's really great that you're already figuring that out, though. Genuinely admirable."

The Codru-Ji managed a smile and a sheepish shrug. "I should probably give it another try. And I will. I'm just..." She paused to phrase her words carefully. "Pacing myself? I'm almost invariably the last person working at this sort of exercise. Essentially every time." Klar explained. "The Force just doesn't like me as much, I think. But I'll get there eventually. Probably."

She hugged her knee to her chest, looking thoughtfully at her new friend. "Have you had a chance to meet anyone yet?" Klar asked curiously. "I'm here with the Tython set. I could make some introductions, if you like. Or just give you a quick run-down." She offered.

Kell grins at Klar's response and mirrors the leaned-back posture, idly knocking her boots together. " 'Preciate it," Kell looks out over the remaining trainees, both pacing and practicing, then back to Klar, getting the sense that's not quite all there is to the issue, but she's hardly in the position to press the subject - this is more or less their first for-real meeting. "I reckon the Force likes everybody, much as an inscrutable cosmic thing-bob can, just gotta ask it the right way. You ever seen Spice Wars? The mind-killer quote made it click for me, dumb as that sounds." That was a good movie, regardless. Does Hetaam still have the old holo? She should have gotten it back before leaving Nar Shaddaa, would've been a nice keepsake. Ah well.

She tilts her head side to side in consideration, "Couple people - I was in Aris' class on lightsaber artistry, didn't really get to talk to him, but Zaiya," she nods toward the lovallan girl, "unintentionally helped me out with getting what I wanted it to say. Nice girl. Buried myself in holos for a whole day to make sure I built the thing right, and I come away with a black tube. Yawn! Glad I went," Kell shifts in place to raise her hip a bit, emphasizing her completed lightsaber, "but aside them, I've mostly just caught names and faces here and there. Everybody from the flesh raider field trip, basically. I wouldn't mind bagging a few more, but don't let me distract you from why we're here an' all."

Mak Ondor shuffled around the classroom, watching the students at work. He had listened to master Caltin Vanagor Caltin Vanagor , nodding along as he explained it. Tutaminis was one of those abilities that few would learn and even fewer would master. It needed both total control and total surrender to the force, two concepts that seemed to be at odds with each other. But the force was all about balance between two Ideals. He hoped he could help impart that.

He noticed a young Jedi with glowing marks on her face struggling with the flames. A moments hesitation had cost her a small burn. not even the almost perfect would work here. He shuffled over to her.

"Can I help you, young padawan? Tutaminis is exceedingly difficult to get the hang of but I can sense in your spirit you will understand it, if through willpower alone. Perhaps I can help guide you to the right direction?"

Connel was watching his father teach, when he saw the two Zabrak, or Iridonian, or however they identify...

Way to make me sound racist...

1. Your father is the only one who argues with me, how do you even know about me? 2. It's true, you're confused about that so it is also true.

I have my father's DNA, now stop spamming.

Anyway, he saw issues, so he figured he would help. Reaching and pulling an orb to his hand, Connel walked over, clearing his mind and bringing it over the odd little device. Letting the two of them speak for a moment, he brought his hand lower and lower.

If I could help, I would like to. My fa... Master Vanagor... he likes to talk about "clearing your mind"... don't... if it's troubling for you to do so.... don't. Think about everything you can. but loop back to how it feels right now{/I] as much as you can. Your mind will tell your pain receptors to stop and your body will get to work.

Slowly he lowered his hand all the way down until it engulfed and eventually extinguished the flame. It was almost surreal as while the same level of struggle was in his face, but it worked. He had done basically the same thing.

Do it incrementally, that way you can build up your ability and tolerance. It works, trust me.

Objective: Learn & Practice Tutaminis

Kas gave himself some space away from other Jedi that gathered to either learn, practice or observe the session. The lamp containing the orb inside radiated energy from the Force. Hopefully after a few attempts this would mark his start in the application of Tutaminis. Be open-minded in ways to apply this in the field.

Placed the lamp onto a rock that was at his chest height and Kas lined himself up opposite of the lamp. Breathing calmly and deeply to attain a focused mindset. There were others who weren't successful and then some who achieved it. Dedicated, determined and ready. Kas raised a hand out toward the lamp and closed his eyes to concentrate in connecting with the Force itself. It swirled around his person like a whirlpool.

There was resistance, tension and started to feel heat building up once his hand was making contact with the lamp. Caden and Seri watched their brother focus on the task. Time to see how well his natural talents are.

"Yke hyon fhars oblivyn cnous oblivyn (Translation: He who fears nothing, knows nothing)." Kas said a bit out loud meant to motivate himself. There was always fear but be in control and not dwell on that fear.

Kas didn't over think no. Placed trust in his instincts and they were being guided by the Light side of the Force. He opened up completely to it and allowed his raw, natural talent to welcome the Force in. Like opening a door to let someone enter. Not forcing the entry. Not expecting success at all in using Tutaminis.

The flames would frighten anyone at first but Kas pushed past that obstacle. A Jedi may have fear as an emotion and feeling but with a calm and clear mind anything can be possible. All of that was channelled as the one thought to occupy Kas' mindset. Nothing else. No-one else. Blocking out his surroundings, movements, sounds and basking himself into the Light side of the Force fully. Breathing calmly.

Gradually and slowly, the heat that Kas felt initially began to decrease along with that resistance and tension that wrapped around him. A calm smile noticeable on his face as Kas continued to let this activity continue.

The orb was being absorbed from its stored energy while Kas had placed his hand and fingers on the lamp. Using the Force ability of Tutaminis to draw out that energy from the orb. Easing it out in small parts not rushing activities nor enforcing, manipulating anything either. Letting it all be second nature, natural to him.

Finally, there was success albeit this took some concentration, effort and time but with practice it will improve.

"Huh. No harm done. Trusted my instincts and the Force. Kept a calm and clear mind. Didn't force it." Kas said to himself quietly not disturbing the others having their turns of practice.

Now there were ideas floating around inside of Kas' mind in various methods and ways to use Tutaminis. Clever ones and simple ones, obtaining such knowledge from Caltin was not going to be wasted or used recklessly. It is to be understood and once fully understood many doors of opportunity will open up.

Taking the lamp with the now empty energy removed off the rock. Kas approached Master Vanagor to return the item back with respect. Waited for the Jedi Master to be available to discuss the lesson so far with him.

This would be nice to bring back and show his master Katarine Ryiah and his close friend Valoria Elryne Valoria Elryne when they next meet one another.

"I LOVE Spice Wars!" Klar exclaimed quickly, her eyes wide. Those closest to her knew well that Klar was a major cinephile, even if she didn't really think of it that way - she just liked holofilms. Good ones, bad ones, really bad ones, hilariously bad ones, and the occasional great one. "Tsing was so iconic in that. I want to wear a jacket like his every. Day. If you can find a copy of the original holo, I'd LOVE to see it again."

"It's a good quote, though." She agreed quietly, rubbing her cheek. "If it helps you center, that has value." The intrusive thought of what it'd feel like to poke her eyeball with a jom gabbar entered Klar's mind for not the first time, and served as the impetus to stop touching her face constantly. Again.

Rather than go off on a long ramble about practical effects and whether overacting was even a real thing, Klar scanned the room and kept her tone close and conversational. "Not to worry, though. I'll give you a quick little rundown from the top. Everyone I know." She promised quietly. "I can introduce you whenever. But you seem to have enough boss energy to handle that on your own." Klar complimented.

The first, of course, was the man in the center of everything. Caltin Vanagor. "That's Master Vanagor. He looks really intense, and I hear he is, but he's got big secret softie vibes." The Codru Ji suggested quietly. "This building used to be his house, but he's turned it over to the Jedi as a really nice training facility. I think that guy he keeps talking to is his son, Connel." She explained. "I don't know either of them very well. But they smile a lot when they talk to each other, so I have a high opinion of them as people."

"The composed-looking guy over there is Kas Larsen." Klar moved on. "He seems pretty nice. Maybe a little accident prone, but kind. As far as I can tell, he only messes up on a thing once and then he locks in. It's kind of cool." She elaborated. "The two with him are his siblings. I think... Caden and Seri? They all came to the Temple together, and they're inseparable. I hear they've got one of those generationally potent pedigrees. I've never seen any of them without the other two, but they're all nothing short of friendly and polite."

Klar motioned subtly to Rikuan, hiding a grin. "That's Rikuan - he's a lot of fun." She confided. "I think he's the only Padawan who can make the younglings laugh harder than I can, but he barely has to TRY. He's Master Jonyna Si's student, and I'm factually jealous of that. She practically re-invented Jar'Kai. With that kind of backing, he's gonna be a legend someday."

"The tall, handsome guy over there is Aris. In addition to being Grandmaster Noble's son he's, you know." Klar explained with a cheeky smirk. "Aris is THE GUY. He's tall, he's strong, he's perfect at everything he does. Kind to everyone. The whole kit. I think the girl over there with the glowing marks, Zaiya, is his girlfriend. Or if not, basically is. And she's wonderful, too. Just always nice and composed. She's going to be a fantastic Jedi Master someday, I just bet." Klar stated confidently. "The two of them are absolutely my favorite power couple. I ship them quite hard, but in a very hands-off non-creepy classmate sort of way."

Hmm. Who else. She didn't know a few of the others - like the blue fellow who looked keenly uncomfortable and reeked of wildspace, or the gorgeous silver-haired woman with the eyepatch who looked like a wuxia heroine who'd just stepped out of the screen.

"Oh, over there? That's Jedi Knight Aadihr Lidos." Klar continued. "I've never spoken to him directly, but I always see him on the periphery of things." She explained. "He always seems so steady and placid, but I get the feeling there's more going on beneath the surface. I also think he's dating my friend's Master, but I'm NOT sure on that." Klar snickered. "Whenever I see him, I think of water birds. Like, one of those ones that is perfectly serene above the water but paddling frantically beneath. Also? He has a REALLY nice smile."

"The lady over there with the fantastic horns and hair is Azurine Varek. I think she's a knight? Or just about." Klar added. "She's with Knight Lidos. She's incredibly thoughtful, you can tell just by looking at her. Her brow furrows a little bit when she's thought of something she wants to say but doesn't." Klar elaborated. "I have a way of kind of being on the periphery of things like this, but I always feel like Azurine has noticed my presence - even if we've never spoken to each other. Maybe that's how she wound up with Knight Lidos?"

Klar's face lit up as she nodded to the young Zabrak struggling with the lesson and seeking clarification. "That's Xuko." She explained, giving his name a little more weight the one would speak of a well-known monument or rock star. "He's one of my closest friends. He's the sort of guy who'd jump through fire for you, but also the sort who'd show up with boxes to help you move before anyone else even offered." Klar explained brightly. "I can't say enough good things about Xuko. Really. Ten out of ten guy. Cannot recommend enough. It's really cute when he curses in Iridonian, and his taste in food is extremely questionable. He knows more about wilderness survival than anyone I know and I think that's really quite remarkable and respectable. Also! Also. He knows how to COOK." Klar realized she sounded a bit like she was bragging and moved on, mildly flustered.

"The Ithorian man over there is Master Mak Ondor." Klar added, slightly hushed and respectful. "He's very wise and perceptive. I don't have a grandfather, but if I did I imagine he'd have been like Master Ondor. He gave me some really good advice in a class I took a couple of weeks ago. Just a few insightful sentences and he was off somewhere else. I think there's a wisdom in knowing when to approach and when to leave, and I don't have that wisdom. But I think Master Ondor does. I'm pretty sure if you walked up and asked him for a hug, he'd agree."

"That's essentially everyone here I know." Klar finally finished her extended yapping session, flashing Rell a sheepish grin. "Altogether lovely folk. Sorry for rambling so much. I have a bit of a motormouth once I get going, or so I've been told. Repeatedly. In my defense? Both positive and negative feedback on that. I would watch Spice Wars with any one of them. And possibly any two."

Kell, for want of a more apt description, pogs. Spice Wars fan! Let's go! "Oh, word, Tsing was made for the role. I had a Huttese bootleg copy back in the day, the dubbing was rough, but the physical character he put on the screen was pure kino. Forgos was stellar, too, such a powerful presence and I felt like she had a smooth chemistry with the rest of the cast, she had me hooked. If I come across a genuine copy, we're having movie night, promise."

She offers up a fist to bump, restabilizing herself when tapped as she follows Klar's introductions with her head. Phew. Lotta info, little time. Gonna lock those tidbits away in the ol' mind palace for now; she's sure she'll get to make friends with everybody in time. "Hey, if you got something to say, don't be ashamed about it, we're not negotiating a trade agreement or nothin'," she says, leaning closer, a sly grin crossing her features as she lowers her voice to a not-quite-whisper, "and sounds like you got a soft spot for Xuko, hey? That your hangup - boy trouble? Performance anxiety?" Trouble loosely defined, of course - good for them, it's always super to see a couple enthusiastic about their partners. Makes her think about the coolant incident with one of her old flames. Took hours to get that poor boy clean.

Zaiya looked up quickly when a calm and encouraging voice spoke. Opal blue eyes caught the eyestalks of the Ithorian Elder Jedi, and the Lovalal Padawan couldn't help but blush, the mottled stripes and spots edging a brighter coral hue in subtle embarrassment that she had failed again.

The sting wasn't that bad… but it still stung a bit. Her pride too, even though she told herself it was a process.. Her rosy-golden skin had dimmed, silvered around the edges, with soft grey flickering through the stripes on her face.

"Oh, umm. yes, Master Ondor, thank you." she replied, telling herself that asking and accepting help wasn't bad. It would only help her.

She glanced at the flame, then back at Mak Ondor, trying not to look too embarrassed.

"It just got away from me. I thought I was doing it right, but it's like… the harder I try, the worse it gets."

Once everyone had tried the exercise, Tilon gave it another shot. At a technical level - energy in, energy out - it went about as well as the last time, largely fine. The Force was weak with him, or at least spoke to him differently, but this exercise was feasible. What he was trying to nail down was the emotional side of it, really find the balance he needed, come to terms with his apprehensive instincts, approach this with something closer to inner peace. Having pinned down what felt like the problem, that side of things did come together better now; the nerves were only nerves, and he'd never once regretted pushing past nerves.

As he came back out of the circle again, he found himself near where Master Mak Ondor Mak Ondor was talking with Zaiya Ceti Zaiya Ceti . Both master and apprentice were strangers to him, and he didn't feel like he had any unsolicited advice, but he listened and made it clear from his posture that he was listening with interest for Master Ondor's answer.

Klar chuckled awkwardly, waving the suggestion off with a bit of embarrassment. "Oh, no, I don't have THAT kind of boy trouble." She promised cheerfully. The blonde was far from a blushing maiden, but she also wasn't used to to having somebody pick up on her that quickly. Had she really been that obvious? Did it bother Xuko? Would it bother anyone else? Was it even appropriate? Was it Kell's business?

Klar smiled sheepishly. "We're still talking about that sort of thing." She explained simply. "Xuko's wonderful. We're not anything official." The Codru-Ji added. "Yet."

The blonde inhaled slowly, feeling a lot more steady now that she'd had a chance to sit and meditate. That she'd had the chance to talk to somebody new and yap never really occurred to Klar as the reason she was feeling a little bit better - that such a thing could be considered meditative or centering would have struck her as a little silly. "I'm going to have another crack at it." Klar decided resolutely as she got to her feet. "Wish me luck? Or advice?"

Nailed it. "Ooh, 'yet', she says, a forbidden clandestine romance, full of smoldering glances and stolen kisses away from the prying eyes of our masters? They could write a book about that," Kell snickers, eyes a-sparkle, as if it weren't already a well-established genre of literature - she knew, she's seen the search results. She's seen some of the fanfics. Unfortunately.

Kell follows suit, standing with Klar, dusting off the butt of her jumpsuit. "Sure. It's counterintuitive, probably, but if you're trying to make it happen, you're straight up going to have a bad time. Ask me how I know," she turns up a sore-looking palm as testament, "think of it like... fighting, I guess. What are you doing when sabers clash? You're meeting force with force, energy with energy. I reckon it's kinda the opposite here - you need to let go. The energy won't flow through you like it's supposed to if you're fighting back, and it's really hard to not fight back. Here, your goal is trusting the Force to guide it away. Call on it, envision what you need if that's your deal, but you gotta hand the reins over. It's hard, and it takes its toll," she finishes, wiping the last of the beaded sweat from her forehead, preparing for round two. Dozen. Ish.

"Letcha know if I figure anything else out, but you gotta share your insights too - we'll figure it out together."

KGvs804.png

Mak Ondor listened intently as she spoke, taking note of her every word. To understand someone you had to listen well. Something he had learnt long ago.

"It just got away from me. I thought I was doing it right, but it's like… the harder I try, the worse it gets."
Mak Ondor nodded.

"That is very common. Tutaminis is one of those deceptive abilities that seem like it needs a firm grip. But firmness is not everything. If we simplify the concept it can be easier to understand. Often we make things complicated, using all these fancy words from textbooks we forget to just feel.

Imagine grabbing a lightsaber blade. If you try to hold it firmly it will just go through your hand. Yet masters of tutaminis can hold it easily, even push it back.

The secret is not in force but in flow. Allow the energy to flow through you, like the force flows through us always. By channeling the force you can absorb the energy coming at you and redirect it.

The control comes in directing the energy through the force, and not into your body. Difficult, impossible to judge yourself. That is why you trust the force. You listen to the force, following the duirection of energy. The force guides us to channel the energy safely.

In short, dont try yourself but let the force try for you. Only then will you be able to absorb energy coming at you."

Mak Ondor looked around, noticing the Sharukan knight listening as well.

"Forgive me, I had not seen you were also listening. My advice is much the same. Only for you I would say it is only natural for your instincts to act up. Its a survival response. But by trusting in the force you can move past them into peace."

The stone circles had mostly cleared now. The unused orbs dimmed and powered down in a soft cascade of fading light. The sounds of waves and distant seabirds slowly reclaimed the air.

Caltin remained where he stood, hands on his hips, looking up into the soft blue sky streaked with pale clouds. His silhouette was massive but peaceful, the kind of figure carved into a temple wall to remind the next generation what patience looked like.
Behind him, a few of the remaining students—younglings, a nervous Knight, the Zabrak Padawan still chewing on his failures—lingered. Some looked unsure if they should approach again. Others whispered to one another, as if hoping their questions might disappear with the morning breeze.

Sensing their hesitation, Caltin slowly turned, stepped down from the center, and addressed them—not with another lesson, but with reassurance.

I saw some of you second-guess yourselves out there. His voice was quiet now. Not booming, but personal. You want to know how you're doing? You're doing fine.

Many of the students stilled, attentive.

This is not an easy art. Tutaminis is not for glory. It won't make you invincible. It won't make you legendary. And if you're chasing that… this isn’t the place to find it. He paused, looking each of them in the eye.

But one day… it might save your life. He gestured toward his hand—the burn scar now partially wrapped again. Or the life of someone you care about.

He stepped toward the Zabrak again, voice softer now. And it won't be because you crushed an opponent. It will be because you held fast. Because you stood firm when everything around you told you to fall.

He turned now, eyes sweeping the small group one final time. Every breath you took inside that circle today was a victory. Every fear you faced without running is something you should carry with pride. Let the others chase titles. You came here to endure. And that—

He tapped the side of his chest, above his heart. —is what makes a Jedi.

The air grew still again, like even the wind wanted to let those words settle.
Some of the students bowed again—not because they were expected to, but because they understood something now. A couple touched their chests the same way. Quiet gestures. Shared strength.

The Zabrak straightened his back. The young Knight exhaled slowly, and Connel, watching from the archway, just nodded and turned to walk into the Sanctuary’s halls, holding the warm crystal in his hand.

Caltin didn’t move until they were gone.

And when he finally did… he didn’t walk toward the Temple.

He walked toward Connel.

Because even now—even still—his son needed to know that this, too, was strength. The class was not over, but it was coming together.

Nathan stared at the Orb.

Conversations go two ways. Better be careful what I tell it, Nathan thought.

Nathan concentrated, opening himself up to the orb's energy. It struggled to enter his body, for he never fully trusted Force Imbued objects, not even ones he himself crafted. Lightsabers were about as far as he usually liked to go, and even then he tried not to create something too freakish. He had broken that rule as time went on.

Nathan pushed out his own prejudice and allowed the energy to flow into him very slowly and back into the orb. It stung his hands slightly but he pushed through it, letting more energy in and then back out in a closed circuit.

He stopped a moment, gathering his concentration, trying to remember old lessons. It was not easy. But apparently he wasn't doing too bad, if the following words of Caltin Vanagor Caltin Vanagor to everyone were any indication...

Nathan took it to heart...or tried to as he stepped out of the circle...

On his approach towards where he had collected the lamp and orb contained inside of it. Made his way to hopefully not interrupt Caltin or Connel as he returned the lamp back to where he got it from. He wasn't going to stop here in his learning and training there is more and Kas believed his body and mind are open to studying more as an upcoming Jedi. The Shadow Sanctuary being here made him think.

"Masters if it was alright to speak with you both? I wanted to express further interest in learning and training more. Here. In the future of course."
Kas was speaking and acting from the heart - one of being a Jedi.

Ever since Kas joined the Jedi Order on both Naboo and Tython. He wasn't after roles, skills or titles for personal needs or wants. Kas believes with effort, studying, time and training in developing into various roles and skills he will be able to defend, heal, protect and server others that cannot do those themselves.

The words coming from the Jedi Master rang with wisdom and solitude. Kas hopes he is going down the right path in becoming a Jedi. A future Knight of the Jedi Order be a beacon of hope, justice and light.

"I've been learning, studying and training with quite a few other Jedi Knights and Masters around the Galaxy. I'm hoping that being independent with majority of my studying, time and training it goes toward an outcome that provides aid and support to others that require it even when they don't know it themselves."

Kas stood with the two Jedi where there was a brief of silence aside from nature making its presence known with all who were in attendance. Birds chirping in the trees being within their nests, a cool breeze of air brushing against everyone and everything in its path. It had Kas close his eyes over to feel around the area.

Listening to all of his surroundings while he waited to hear from Caltin and Connel when he approached and spoke to them both.

Growing up in Jedi circles, Tilon had become accustomed to Jedi Masters saying things that they felt Jedi Masters should be saying. Practical days like today, days with something to say, hadn't been the norm in his experience. Master Ondor made a strong point - a couple of them, and nothing TIlon had heard put in quite those ways. He murmured appreciation, thinking about the real biological role of instinct (at least some instinct) and about the Force's ability to impact state of mind in lasting ways. It set up a flesh/spirit dichotomy that made Tilon uncomfortable, but that had always been inherent in certain portions of the Jedi way regardless. Tilon felt sure he'd be thinking about this for a while.

When the Corellian approached, he had a look in his eye that caught Connel's. He wanted something. Sure enough. He was right. Today isn't the day for that, kid. He stepped away and waved for Kas to follow him.

It's not a question of your desires, or ambitions, this is more an "advanced" Sanctuary. It's not even really a Temple. I grew up here. Classes like this are the exception, but primarily we focus on specialty training. When a Padawan is preparing for their trials, or a Knight is learning more about their chosen path, such as an investigator, or a Shadow.... so it's not a "no", but a "not yet".

A frown did appear on Kas' face though not of vain or such it was only when Connel had said today wasn't the day to focus on the path of a Jedi Shadow. The teenage Padawan Learner followed after the Jedi Knight when he noticed the motion of a wave to follow him. Kas walked after Connel to continue interactions with him.

"So you're implying I should be focused more on becoming a Jedi Knight rather divide my attention, efforts and time to specialisations such as Investigators or Shadows master. I was always under the impression and brought up not to be limited but be open to keep learning and training. Am I wrong in going by this route?"

Kas stood at the side of Connel while watching the other Jedi either continue, depart or remain here to interact with one another. The man was in thought while he waits for the Jedi Knight to respond to him.

A few days ago, Connel was short tempered enough to tell this kid off. Though no doubt unintentionally, Larsen was twisting his words, and that was always a hot button for him, and not the kid's fault.

That was a few days ago.

Yesterday, he and his father had a conversation. Connel was going to be the Watchman for Alderaan, and overseer of the Shadow Sanctuary. That meant that he needed to be more... thoughtful in his approach, and more careful in his elocution.

I didn't say that. This place is not generally a Temple, so the resources and classes are limited. Thus the specialization, we simply don't teach the lessons of the early life of a Jedi. Not out of lack of a desire, but of necessity. Since you brought it up though, I personally would say "yes"... enjoy the ride you're on... don't worry about the destination. You carry yourself with too much weight when you don't need it. I see greatness in you... let it come naturally... too many have tried too hard too fast.

That sounded like dad.

Objective: Interact with fellow Jedi

Kas folded his arms and hands over one another, rested against his chest and listened to the Jedi Knight speak in response to the conversation they began with one another. It seemed the training he sought and believed he could commit towards wasn't within suitable timing. Kas doesn't want to take easy routes or limit himself.

Everything stemmed from surpassing the rank and role of a Padawan Learner where more doors and opportunities present themselves for aspiring Jedi. Was he wrong for believing and thinking that a Jedi should be more open and varied. Who knows. Kas didn't want to be grounded or locked up again like on Tython.

Injured and left in the Medical Bay alone for majority of his time aside from his twin sister Seri and younger brother Caden visiting him whenever they could. He did have someone who gave their attention and time towards who he considered a good, close friend. The Twi'lek female Padawan Learner Valoria and he had taken her to Ryloth as a gesture of thanks. A repayment for what she had committed to.

"Alright I guess master."
There wasn't much else for Kas to respond with.

He turned around to continue watching other Jedi ranging from Padawan Learners, Knights and Masters being here for the lesson that Caltin Vanagor Caltin Vanagor hosted for them all to observe and participate in.

It was perhaps best for Kas to return to the Jed Temple on Naboo. Confine with his new master Jedi Knight Aiden Porte Aiden Porte and see if Grandmaster Briana Sal-Soren Briana Sal-Soren or Jedi Knight Brandyn Sal-Soren Brandyn Sal-Soren had any activities or tasks to accomplish. He'd let his sister and brother learn and practice Tutaminis first.

Walked away from Connel to regroup with Caden and Seri. Be supportive and help them understand the Force ability Tutaminis so that they can save lives and put this towards good use in their future as Jedi.
