OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
 • Intent: Every Hutt needs a palace! Meant to serve as Kossak’s seat of power and a RP location
 • Canon: N/A
 • Permissions: N/A
 • Links: [ Provide links to any relevant threads, characters, companies, locations, etc here. Canon or otherwise. Especially obscure references, or events important to the submission.]
SETTING INFORMATION
 • Structure Name: Hestilic Palace
 • Classification: Palace
 • Location: Nal Hutta
 • Affiliation: Kossak the Hutt, Hestilic Kajidic, Hutt Space Consortium
 • Accessibility: It can be easily accessed due to its rather ostentatious location. However, with the security and the fact that it is a residence of one of the many Hutts that rule over Nar-Shaddaa, no common citizen is stupid enough to show up uninvited.
 • Description: [ Provide a description of this structure at a glance. More in-depth descriptions can be added in points of interest. ]
The Hestilic Palace is a large and extravagant structure, striking out on one of Nal Hutta’s few solid plots of land on a planet otherwise covered in numerous bogs. The palace is a combination of four towers connected together. The main tower is both large and wide, the other three being narrower structures although reaching the same towering heights. The palace is meant to display Kossak’s power and wealth. It dominates the nearby terrain, and its tall towers can be seen from far away. Each tower serves its own function, and most visitors will only be shown to the main structure.

The inside layout follows the theme of displays of wealth and power. It contains much of what you would expect, including a main atrium that acts as a throne room, an entrace foyer, living quarters for both Kossak, his staff, and his guests, as well as various balconies and one major landing platform near the primary entrance.

/ golden tipped plating at the top of the tower? And circles going down &rings 4?

POINTS OF INTEREST

SECURITY
[ Provide a Security Rating (choose from: None, Low, Medium, High, Maximum) and any specific security assets in list format. What defenses does this location have, including internal and perimeter defenses? Please note that the rating is relative to the type of location this is. Normal civilian structures have a different scope in security, compared to military bases. As such a civilian structure with a Maximum security rating is not on the same level as a military base with a Maximum rating. A civilian structure with a Maximum rating could be the seat of a planetary government, or the headquarters of an inter-galactic corporation. Private security, alarms, perhaps even a defensive shield, but they should not have entire armies within or enough armament to destroy a fleet above. Please link rare or uncommon tech/equipment to the SW wiki article or Factory-approved submission. Common canon items do not need to be linked. ]

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
[ Include a description on the structure's history here. Detail how it came to be created and why. Talk about the people involved in this structure's history and what role it played and still plays. For historical structures, if you so desire, you can include historical events from the Chaos Canon timeline or board history where appropriate. ]

SETTING INFORMATION
Mine Name
: Alpha Minerals Mining Complex
Material: Ionite, Azurite
Location: Bandomeer | Lirra
Affiliation: Alpha Minerals
Size: Large
Population
: Moderately Staffed
Profit
: High
Accessibility
: None of the mines are particularly easy to access unless you're on the morning workers' train. As is the case for the mines on both Sullust and Altor 14, the mines are located quite remotely in the mountains. Hiking to the Sullust mine is particularly ill-advised, as it has volcanic activity nearby. The Ruisto mine is an underwater complex, complicated on its own but a space entirely dedicated to the mining project. What all three mines have in common is that they are private property with high security, intent on keeping undesirables away. In most cases the surrounding nature takes care of that.
Description: The mining complexes of Altor 14 and Sullust are found deep within mountain ranges. The ones on Sullust are often situated deeper into the mountain valleys, or even into the mountains themselves. This is due to aurodium mining having been ongoing on Sullust for a while, whereas the project on Altor 14 is a relatively recent one. The facilities offer no beauty to the surrounding nature, instead being more akin to deep and offensive scars on the towering peaks. A constant flurry of activity can be witnessed from an aerial view, both from the mines itself but also from ships travelling to and from the facilities with new shipments. The aurodium is sometimes sold raw, though most of the time it is taken to a refinement facility to be turned into ingots. Though it is not standard for all of Alpha Mineral's facilities, the ones on Sullust come equipped with shield generators due to volcanic activity in the region. The Ruisto facilities are all underwater, though have the same design and layout. They are still situated within mountain ranges, though of course these are under the vast oceans. This has put an extra pressure on equipment and lighting.

POINTS OF INTEREST
 • Control center - a building of its own housing security surveillance rooms, as well as functioning as on-site barracks and armoury
 • Refinery - the refineries turn the raw material into ingots which is then packaged and shipped off-world for distribution
 • Unloading facility - a large sector dedicated to spacecraft landing as well as shipment storage. Shipments are checked before and after by an unloading crew to diminish the chance of sabotage
SECURITY
High.
Alpha Mineral's mining complexes employ private security forces to patrol the facilities and ensure the safety of the workers. These security forces are equipped with standard armour and small arms. The facilities are further protected by advanced warning systems, a network of cameras and surveillance, a duracrete perimeter wall with sufficient armament to fend off a good-size raid or attack in most cases. In the case of the Sullust facilities, they also come equipped with shield generators.

The facilities are closed off to the public. Unauthorised visitors are treated as hostiles.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The aurodium veins on Sullust and Ruisto were well known to Alpha Minerals, and an early target. Once the funding was secured they moved quickly to set up their facilities there. They also began to muscle out the competition either by throwing wealth at the problem, or conveniently a third party with links to a certain Hutt cartel would make remarks on how nice it was to keep families together, and how sad it is when it doesn't work out that way. In other words, many competitors were bought or suddenly backed away.

The early profits were quickly re-invested, and an effort was made to discover additional deposits of the valuable metal. New leads and permits to aid in exploration digging led to the discovery of a substantial deposit on Altor 14. Being the early bird in this case, Alpha Minerals were able to secure exclusive rights and have put their weight behind keeping the status quo.

Aurodium mining became the foundation for Alpha Minerals, a young but quickly growing mining corporation. The first steps in what would hopefully lead to system-wide dominance.

ASARA ZAANA SANTII
n1bwi2l.png

BACKGROUND

Currently: A new Sith set free upon the Galaxy. Her training is complete, now it's up to her see what kind of mark she can leave behind.

Raised in the shadow of a Sith Lord, she learned early that proximity to power was not power itself.

Privilege followed her from birth. So did scrutiny.

Tutors, overseers, assassins, philosophers; her father ensured she learned from all of them. Excellence was expected. Failure was remembered. Though afforded the courtesies owed to blood, complacency was carved out of her through relentless discipline. Praise was rare. Approval rarer still.

By adolescence she had already brushed shoulders with warlords, sorcerers, and creatures spoken of only in whispers. Such encounters were never meant to impress her. They were lessons. Reminders that no matter how gifted she became, there would always exist something greater, older, or crueler waiting in the dark between stars.

Her father implanted in her his own interpretation of the Sith doctrine. Passion without control was weakness masquerading as strength. Fury had its place. So did fear. But emotion was to be harnessed, not obeyed. A Sith who surrendered to impulse became predictable. Predictability invited chains.

Command came naturally to her. It had been cultivated since childhood. Yet no title, army, or dominion would ever simply be inherited. Whatever place she claimed within the galaxy would need to be seized by her own hand, and defended by it thereafter.

PERSONALITY

Asara Santii is a Sith duelist and mentalist raised to believe that control is the purest expression of power, and weakness something the galaxy rarely forgives.

Composed | Perceptive | Predatory | Relentless |

She rarely raises her voice. She rarely needs to.

Years spent navigating the orbit of Sith Lords, generals, and creatures draped in power taught her that composure was its own form of dominance. She carries herself with deliberate control. Attentive, patient, and difficult to unsettle. Even in conversation there is a sense of calculation behind her gaze, as though every word, hesitation, and expression is quietly weighed for value.

Yet beneath that refinement lies something far less civilized.

She possesses a predator’s instinct for weakness. Fear, insecurity, pride, anger, she notices such things quickly, and exploits them without hesitation. Unlike many Sith, she does not mistake savagery for strength. Violence is a tool, not an indulgence. When she strikes, whether with blade, word, or the Force, it is usually precise, purposeful, and intended to leave lasting damage long after the exchange itself has ended.

STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

STRENGTHS
+Empathy - Reads people well, senses emotional shifts, strong in negotiations, situational awareness
+Defensive Duelist - Highly trained Soresu practitioner and difficult to overwhelm
+Patience - Oryn rarely acts impulsively. He waits, observes and responds carefully. He trusts in his Jedi discipline and the will of the Force.
+Enviornmental Mastery - As a Nautolan from Glee Anselm, Oryn is extremely comfortable in water. He excels at underwater combat, aquatic infiltration, and navigating submerged enviornments. His eyes are capable of spotting details in lightless oceans.

ZJ2W2Cw.png

WEAKNESSES
-Emotional Overload - In chaotic enviornments filled with strong emotions, Oryn can become overwhelmed. Too many emotional signals at once can cloud his focus.
-Reluctant to Cause Harm - His compassion as well as emotional attunement gets in the way of doing what's necessary if that causes pain.
-Hesitant - His patience can bleed into hesitation when decisive action is needed. His desire for the perfect solution makes it hard for him to cut his losses and do what's best in the given situation.
-Environmental Sensitivty - The Nautolans' skin and tendrils are adapted to humid or aquatic enviornments. Long periods in very hot or dry climates causes discomfort and fatigue, and his agility might be reduced. Oryn would require water immersion or hydration breaks to combat this.
-Too Defensive - While hard to break down individually, Oryn is not a naturally aggressive fighter, and will struggle to end fights quickly.
-Self-doubt - Oryn carries the emotions of others on his shoulders. Even when successful, he will second guess what could have been done better. He can feel responsible for things outside his control, which often leads to self-doubt, guilt, and exhaustion. All of these weaknesses combined has left Oryn with a foreboding sense that he is not cut out to be a Jedi.

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Intent
: To finally create a submission that details the forces that have been running with Pyrrhus since his time as Voice of the Dark Lord, and remained loyal to him after the fall of the One Sith
Image Credit: Sith - Alvaro Jimenez

Permissions:

GENERAL INFORMATION
Unit Name: Remnant Legion
Affiliation: Darth Pyrrhus / Saeva
Classification: Infantry
Description: The Remnant Legion consists of one division, broken down into four brigades which again are broken down into twenty battalions. It is what remains of One Sith's Sector Five armed forces, formerly under command of the Voice of the Dark Lord, later the Sphere of Justice and Law, Darth Pyrrhus. After the fall of One Sith many deserted, and even more followed their most decorated general into what later became the Iron Empire. These soldiers, however, represent those who remained loyal to their commander, Darth Pyrrhus, and followed him as he paved out a new path for them. It is from this history that the division derives their name, 'the Remnant Legion'. The division absorbs former elements of the One Sith army, such as for example the 607th battalion, and repurposes them within this new combined arms unit.

While necessity demands that their numbers get resupplied by fresh recruits now and again, the vast majority of these soldiers are veterans of the famed One Sith military machine. A solid portion of these have served with Pyrrhus personally since he was knighted, which would explain their continued loyalty. Many, however, simply knew him as the man in charge of their sector, and the one who signed off on their missions. Regardless of planetary origin or military history, they've all come together here in this force. Few were attached to the One Sith empire itself (their primary concern was the security of its worlds), but having fought along one another through countless battles and in many wars has created a strong sense of camaraderie and unity.

The division's primary makeup is infantry, but it's supplemented with heavy weapons companies and mechanised battalions. A solid portion of their equipment remains from the One Sith days, though Pyrrhus with his resources and connections have managed to supply them with more up-to-date equipment. The division, made up of sector garrisons, Nautolan armed forces and various other branches of the army now form a sort of migrant, mobile force that goes wherever their commander goes, not tied down to any one military base but moved as needed.

COMBAT INFORMATION:

Unit Availability: (Common)

Vehicles

[*]AT-PAT
[*]AT-A/RW
[*]AT-AW

Combat Function: These acolytes add a flavour the common trooper cannot. Trained in lightsaber combat (preference depends on the individual), complemented by knowledge of the Force, these acolytes are highly potent, and for reasons just stated, show a high degree of survivability. Capable of acting on their own, however, these acolytes will most often find themselves placed within an army, acting as officers ensuring the will of their Lord is carried out. On occasion they will be called upon to band together, joining in Sith rituals (though they will not initiate these on their own, requiring a Lord to guide the séance).
Force Abilities (Force User Units Only): (Acolytes)

Strengths:
+Multipurpose: In most modern militaries, a division tends to be the smallest combined arms unit capable of independent operations; this due to its self-sustaining role as a unit with range of combat troops and suitable combat support forces, which can be arranged into various organic combinations.
+Veteran division: Bar the occasional fresh recruit, these soldiers carry with them the military traditions of the One Sith. They've seen war and conflict on various worlds, in various climates, and have dealt with high combat intensity situations in the past. They're experienced soldiers led by battle-hardened officers who know how to behave in a combat zone.

Weaknesses:
- Limited supply: While numbers can oftentimes be their strength, they are not an army. A division may be the smallest unit capable of independent operations, but unless complemented by other army components they will likely find themselves outnumbered and thus outmatched by the various armed forces of the governments of the galaxy.
- No specialization: The division is flexible and able to adapt to various scenarios. However this also leads them to stand without any defined strength. There's no specific operation they're better suited for than others, but are sort of a jack of all trades type unit.
