To Ren or not to Ren that is a question?

Tin'tinag

Life is a queen, if not it would be to easy
The volcanic world of Mustafar, a place unfit for normal sentient life to live without proper protection, a place were trying to run away would end in certain death due to toxic chemicals, lava and other dangerous elements. Tin'tinag latex down in [member="Kyrel Ren"]'s ship, not permitted to actually go anywhere as well as being slightly worried about what was to become of her in this place. She had accepted the offer to train as a Ren more out of instinctive means to survive the actual consents, somthing that had been drilled into her mind from a young age growing up by herself on Ryloth. During that time it was the strong and crafty that survived and back stabbing combined with taking every available opportunity was how she made it to were she was.

For the last few day she had been recovering from her Lekku wound and self practicing the force powers that she already knew while waiting for her supposed master to finish his errands. The scar on the right Leeku was prominent and the fact that she didn't loose mcuh cognitive fuction was a good sigh, but she often found it hard to think straight and her left arm seemed responded slower as a result. Touching the scar and sighing she decided that she'd had enough rest for now and found the strength to do some more force practice. Concentrating on the two metal plates in front of her she started to make them levitate and move, spinning them around in different direction testing her corrdintaion.

This went of for a 34 seconds before she lost focus and one of the metal peaces hit her in the face, rubbing her nose she payed back down thinking back on her life. Had she made the wrong decision or would this new path lead her to greater places then a simple smuggler, thinking back she tried to remember the other Twi'lek who was with her on Thakawaa, but for whatever reason no clear memeory of him existed. She rubbed her scar again frowning because of its side affect, she wouldn't never be the same person because of it.

Kyrel was aboard the Reaper, after crushing the insurgents he had managed to track down the Twi'lek Force sensitive smuggler with whom he had tracked down during the hunt. The effort of dealing with her was easy at best, he had disarmed her with one swift strike of his blade, and when her lover attacked him, his rage drove him to leave a permanent lesson on the woman's lekku. Leaving a mark that would remain with her for the rest of her life.

He plotted the course to Mustafar, a world that once belonged to the Galactic Alliance, then after the Battle of Mustafar where the Order of Ren revealed themselves to the New Jedi Order at Vader's Castle, the Castle had now belonged to the Knights of Ren, with no one ever found a use for the arcane structure Kyrel Ren took it for himself, and established as his personal fortress and to train new disciples of which he has chosen as his apprentices. The Twi'lek woman would not be the same when serving under Kyrel, he would show her what true power was, and soon enough she would be stronger than she could have ever dreamed of.

He brought the ship within the vicinity of the large dark spire. It was always a welcoming sight for him, and for his new apprentice, this would be her home and where she would train in the ways of the Force. He set the landing cycle for the craft as it made its way into the hanger, having already notified his apprentice [member="Zesiro"] of his return, he stepped from the cockpit as the ship landed in the dark obsidian chamber. He approached the woman, his figure clad in dark robes, his face concealed behind a mask and hood, he looked at her as she was practicing her Force powers. He looked to her and said coldly "Come.."

He then proceeded to walk onto the landing ramp, various droids and guards that served the Ren were there, performing their tasks as required. He had said nothing as he made his way to the turbolift and traveled through the hanger and lava catacombs to the main chamber, where his apprentice would be meeting him with the new arrival. After some time he emerged and walked to the chamber. He walked onto the platform which was a sphere with no railings, and several pathways, below lava, flowed through the structure, he walked until he stopped and still said nothing.

For one of the first times since becoming Kyrel's apprentice, Zesiro had actually behaved herself and stayed in the castle while he was on a mission. What that mission was, she didn't know, but she would always ask what had happened when he returned. Sometimes he told her and sometimes he didn't. Today was different though and he alerted her that he was returning.

Wanting to show that she had been behaving, Zesiro wore the assassin garb he had given her, but no mask. There wasn't a need for that in the castle. The only time she would actually wear the mask was when she out on a mission. So far that had only been one, but hopefully more would come as her training progressed and he figured that she wouldn't leave again without telling him. The times she did leave, she came back, so it wasn't like she had run away.

When it was time for Kyrel to arrive, Zesiro stood waiting in the main chamber where he had requested her to meet him.

She felt [member="Kyrel Ren"] force signature approached her while she practiced, in the time she had been with him sensing and focusing on fellow force user had become easier, and it wasn't like he was hiding it from her. At his cold commands she stood up, a bit glad to be getting off the ship but also out of fear as not obeying her new 'master' would most likely bring consequences, which she did particularly want to experience. As of the moment she was wearing her brown robe like clothing, her normal smugglers suit being dirty from the skirmish as well as being in appropriate for this trip.

As she followed Kyrel out of the ship she wondered what sort of training she would face, though never meeting a Ren her initial thoughts were that they trained similar to Sith, where the apprentice's was put though a lot of painful test and were constantly reminded of their master power though, examples, She hopped that Ren's trained a bit differently, Exiting the ship she was greeted with the warm and harsh feeling of the Mustafa atmosphere, though being use to the heat and dryness of Ryloth, nothing could compare the the feeling of the planets. Looking around she was the massive structure in the distance, it was obviously a home of some sort to Kyrel, perhaps it served also as a training facility for prospective force users, maybe she would meet other's initiates.

As her 'master' kept walking forward she kept in close proximity to him as to not get lost, while moving towards the caste she took in the sights around her forgetting about her current situation for the moment and marveling at area. She was willing to bet not many people had the chance to set foot on int this place, something about that made her feel honored, but then again she was not thinking very logically lately.

Kyrel kept moving, getting a glance to look back and see if his new apprentice was behind him. He approached the platform to see his apprentice standing there waiting for him. He stopped as he had hoped his new apprentice would stop. He could sense her confusion, and her fear of disobeying him, it had served no surprise as for the Knight of Ren had injured her Lekku, her injury a reminder of her old path, and the new one that was chosen. She was strong in the Force and would be molded into a weapon of the Supreme Leader, an emissary to answer his will.

He looked to his other Apprentice, Zesiro a girl who he had encountered at one point while hunting down a Rogue Knight of Ren, and after the encounter several months later she became his apprentice. He looked at her for a brief second before speaking, his distorted voice echoing slightly. "Greetings Zesiro, I have brought a new Apprentice who I will train, and you will become acquainted with. She came from my latest mission to stop a Rebel Incursion on Thakwaa. Her name I believe is Tin'tang although I am fairly uncertain. Please introduce yourself." He turned his head over to the Twi'lek and looked at her from his mask. "Apprentice make yourself known." He said before going back into his silence.

Zesiro stood with her hands behind her back, almost stoically when she realized Kyrel had brought company with him. His words surprised her even further. He had aquired a new apprentice on his latest mission. She watched as the female twi'lek walked up behind her master. She would now have to think of him as their master now and a little heat entered her eyes. There was a slight feeling of irritation that might have bordered on jealousy at the thought of having to share Kyrel.

Then she got a good look at the girl following and raised an eyebrow. They had met in passing once before on Tatooine. Zesiro was sure it was the same person. They had no exchanged names at the time. The sith had been there trying to recover her past memories, but that had failed. He introduced the twi'lek to her told her to introduce herself.

Walking with her natural grace over to the girl that was only a few years younger than her, she gave her a careful and neutral look. Her voice displayed not a hint of her feelings and it wasn't entirely friendly.

"I am Zesiro."

When [member="Kyrel Ren"] came to a stop so did she, even if it seemed a bit strange, making sure to follow his directions was starting to become second nature. Maybe it was partially an instinctual thing, burnt, both figuratively and literally, into the brain after the events on Thakwaa,. Looking a bit further down the walkway a woman came into view, the first though that came to mind was t'shat, they were another apprentice to Kyrel, which turned out to be true upon his instructions for them to introduce one another.

Upon getting closer she too recognized the woman from a trip to Tatooine who she had run into after finishing up business with the scrap dealers and a drink from the cantina. Why they were on Tatoonie was anyone idea, an idea she was not going to press, if this woman was also an apprentice to Kyrel, angering her would be the last thing on her list. By the way the woman raised an eyebrow they must have know as well, though it could have been out of disinterest or discuss, a new person coming along and interfering with your life wasn't a pleasant experience, one that she was well acquainted with.

Standing up straight as [member="Zesiro"] waled over and introduced herself, a slight scene of 'this person don't like' you wash over, it was more of a gut feeling than the force, having to know if someone liked you from a mere glace was vital for smuggler. "I am Tin'inag, its a pleasure to meet you"

He observed the two quietly as they introduced one another, he snuck a glance toward's Zes's way and could see a slight glimmer of heat in her eyes as he wondered if it was a slight wave of jealousy, he was curious but decided not to pursue the matter any further than what was inside his head. He looked at the two still remaining silent, as he looked forward to what would come in the meantime.

He did take to the fact the Twi'lek was being obedient thus far and has not fought against him since the encounter on Thakwaa. This was something that was surprising, but so far didn't mind it. She would learn well to obey him, and if not suffer the consequences as she had done on that rock that she had attacked.

He looked to them and then began to speak more specifically to the Twi'lek. "You Apprentice are now in what was known as Vader's Castle, his personal fortress here on Mustafar, it is now my home and where I train most of my students. You will be trained in the Force, and you will learn how to wield a Lightsaber as well as make your own. You will also train together with Zesiro here as well as come to know her." He stopped as he looked from the Twi'lek to Zesiro as he stood there in silence saying nothing.

[member="Tin'tinag"] [member="Zesiro"]

"The pleasure is all yours, Tin'tinag. At least now I have a name to the face which we both lacked on Tatooine."

Zesiro's voice was the same, neutral and not friendly. She would have to, for now, accept the fact there would be competition around for Kyrel when she had been the only before. In time, maybe they would learn to work together, but the twi'lek would know her place soon. A second apprentice, not the first.

Her look was cold and she walked around the room looking at the new girl. The gaze was judging and appeared to weigh the pros and cons of certain actions she wanted to take. When Kyrel spoke, Zesiro looked at him and made a fist with one of her hands at his words.

If they were to train together, Zesiro would have to outperform this upstart and usurper. She would be the number one apprentice and remain there. She remained silent, her hand fisted at her side.

She did not reply to [member="Zesiro"] only gving a slight nod, not really knowing how the hierarchy worked here she simply decided only to speak if asked a question. Her knowledge of the past was not the most extensive, but almost everyone in the galaxy had heard the stories of Darth Vader, and his accomplishments before and during the Galactic Civil.

Her original thought that the place was a training facility were confirmed as Kyrel continued to talk about the structure, listening with interest as the subject of force and light-saber training. She knew how to wield a electo staff fairly well and had a decent amount of fighting experience, though learning the different styles of light-saber combat would be hard, considering the fact that it took years to master even one form.

At the though of training with Zesiro was brought up her stomach felt like it was turned inside out, if her suspicions of the woman not likely her were true, things would surly be even more difficult. Despite this she was not going to question her new master, [member="Kyrel Ren"] probably had something planed for her, or maybe it was a way to test if she was truly willing to become a Ren.

She gave another nod in response letting him know she understood, 'survival of the fittest, survival of the fittest...". This repeated in her mind over and over, even though going down this path meant most likely retaining one day to kill her few friends. She was honestly always prepared to double cross them for her own survival, though she never would of guessed this is how things would turn out.

(ooc me and the other Twi'leks relationship was more of a friends with benefit, not really lover's)

Kyrel merely stood to wait for a short moment, he could feel the slight tension in the air, more so coming from Zesiro then the Twi'lek. This was starting to please him, as this would increase the efforts of his first apprentice, while he focused on the second. After sometime he spoke to Zesiro. "Apprentice. Show the new student to her quarters."

He said walking away from the platform, and off to a separate path away from it. He took the path that leads through a dark obsidian hallway and towards the turbolift to the second level of the Castle. He continued walking down the path, his thoughts drifting for a moment of when or what could happen between his two students, he had figured that rivalry would blossom between the two, and competition always ensured the strongest would emerge.

He approached his quarters, which used to belong to Vader but now his, he decided to step inside the room, the room had little furnishings besides the meditation chamber that was in the middle of the room, he decided for the moment to rest and meditate, as he sought to regather his strength for when he begins teaching, or set's out on another mission.

When her wide circle around the new apprentice completed, Kyrel broke the tense silence between the three of them. He commanded her to take the twi'lek to her own quarters and show them to her. Zesiro watched as he walked away from the two of them.

Wounded or not, the girl would get no sympathy from the sith. Walking over to Tin'tinag, she looked at her with cold blue eyes. Her voice a simple command.

"Follow me."

Her natural movements graceful and seductive were not directed at the twi'lek, but Zesiro could not change how she moved. Not bothering to look back, she walked to the quarters were where she stayed, knowing there were other rooms there.

Not quite following the same path Kyrel had taken, Zesiro lead Tin'tinag to her quarters in silence. A cold not quite anger filled the young sith. When she reached the room she was going to put the twi'lek in, she stopped and opened the door. Her voice was the same as it was before and without threat.

"You first. As you can see everything is here that you'll need."

It was a simple room- bed, dresser, closet, desk and refresher.

At Kyrel command she followed Zesiro, not wanting to question where he was going or why he was leaving the tour work to the other apprentice, maybe to get better acquainted with one another, or spark even more rivalry between the two. With Kyrel out of the way nothing was stopping Zesiro from stating their obvious distaste, though it seemed that such action was being put on hold until she was properly settled in.

Following the woman she made sure to keep carefully watch, being ready for a sudden attack or test she might have had in mind. The room presented was fairly simple, a little cleaner than expected and more lavish then the bunk she slept in the freighter. It might have been a bit simple but not really being one for decoration it was adaptable, maybe a slight bit of customization was needed but for now it would do. She entered the room awaiting Zesiro to leave, she would use what little personal time for self meditation and practice.

Kyrel was lost in the darkness, he let the dark side swirl around him like a storm that he could feed on, he knew that his two apprentices would have no problem getting associated with one another. He would hope that they would either become pitted against one another, or work with one another and make each other strong, but it would depend entirely upon the two. He stayed in there for a few moments becoming lost to his thoughts.

After some time he emerged from the dark sarcophagus and moved around as he decided to observe the hellish atmosphere of the planet, he always related it to himself, and also found it interesting to watch the ash clouds block the sun, or the volcanos spewing fire and brimstone. He stayed like that for a while, before going to his holoprojector and seeing what could be asked of him. So far he had stopped Rebel Incursions on both Thakwaa and Janara, he so far had nothing to do with his time so he kept studying the map before moving onto the topic of Force Lightning a power he was trying to master with his cybernetics.

Once Tin'tinag was in the room Zesiro closed the door on them. What she intended to do wouldn't be heard inside the castle. Before now, she had kept her voice non-threatening, but it would have been clear the sith did not like the twi'lek.

Walking further into the room, her ice cold eyes took in the room and its new occupant with a great deal of disdain bordering on contempt. With the flick of Zesiro's fingers, Tin'tinag would find herself flung against the wall and held there immobilized. If the girl tried to struggle, the feeling of a light choke would be felt on her throat. They were of the same height and the young sith looked the new apprentice in the eye as she spoke. If the girl felt fear, that was all the better.

When she spoke, her voice was barely above a whisper. It held all of the emotion that could clearly be felt through the Force. Like a controlled flame, one that could flare up at any given time.

"You think you can just come in here? You are nothing."

She stopped mere inches from the face of Tin'tinag. Her blue eyes locked with the blue eyes of the twi'lek. As the gaze happened, Zesiro's eyes would change from that blue to the yellow of the Dark Side.

"Am I clear?"

The sense of pure hostility would be felt emanating from Zesiro if she could pick up on emotions. Even if she couldn't the new apprentice should already know the opinion of the elder apprentice.

Not bothering to actually wait for an answer from Tin'tinag, Zesiro turned her back on the girl and left the room. About two seconds after the door slammed shut, the Force hold would be released and allow freedom of movement again.

At the sound of the door closing shut she looked behind, surprised to see [member="Zesiro"] still standing their, they way she walked forward was a bit menacing, the look in her eye being one of hatred. The next second she was flying towards the wall, the impact giving a slight hurting due to the unexpectedness of it, any moment felt constricted and it didn't take long to realize Zesiro was inducing a slight force chock.

The woman's words were quite but laced with contentment, the distaste in her emotion felling like minor stab wounds into her mind, her ineptness to properly block force signatures making the experience even more painful. Fear engulfed her as these yellow eyes seemingly looking into her very soul, as quickly as it had started zesiro had make her threats and left the room, upon realize Tin'tiang fell to the ground gasping slightly.

Looking at the door feeling fear but also a small amount of angry, she muttered on single word to herself, one that was filled with a slight amount of hate, some thing she did not do often "crystal". If they couldn't be friends so be it, she could live without friends just as she had done most of her early life.

Kyrel grinned, he could sense a slight conflict from across the floor, he would wonder how it would work between the two, and he had a certain idea that it would not go well. Nonetheless, he had stayed in his chamber, learning what he could of Force Lightning and make a note to train himself in the technique. It wasn't that hard but for him and his cybernetics. It would be difficult, to say the least.

He then activated his saber, and moved to a position within the chamber, on the wall was a couple of Sith training droids. The droids were always there in case he needed to sharpen his technique and so activated them, they rose from their places and took on the form of two Jedi, they had first moved into a circle to ambush him, but were quickly met with a savage power attack from him, the other moved in close behind him and tried to surprise him, but was met with a blast of Force Push knocking him to the other side of the wall.

After engaging in a blade lock with the first one, he had made a quick end to him by decapitating him, his head dropping to the floor as he crumpled to pieces. The second one jumped intending to go for a high strike, but was immediately met by a side block, Kyrel then angled his blade to cut the droid in half ending the short duel quickly. Afterward, he just stood there wondering what his apprentices were up to, and what he would do.

[member="Tin'tinag"] [member="Zesiro"]

Zesiro returned to her own room which was closer to Kyrel than the one belonging to Tin'tinag. She hadn't actually done that purpose, it had just worked out that way. Almost as soon as she had left the twi'lek's room, she had let go of the anger she felt and her eyes returned to their normal blue color. Just as she was about to close her door, she heard the sounds of Kyrel practicing in his room and went to join him.

It had been a long time since they had a formal training session and she wanted to continue her lessons. If the new girl joined that would be fine and an opportunity to show she was the better student.

Approaching Kyrel's room, Zesiro would walk in and saw him standing there as if in thought. For the moment they were alone and she walked up to him. Unlike how she spoke to Tin'tinag, her voice held no sound of confrontation, just pure curiosity.

"Why did you bring her here, Master?"

After regaining some composure she decided to look more around the room, it was big enough for potential force practice and other uses, the dresser was a decent size, though owning many outfit's was never her style. The rest of the room was fairly plan and for a brief moment boredom set in, until she remembered here electo staff, the weapon had been cut in half during the altercation with Kyrel, the damage was superficial and a easy repair would get it back in working order in no time.

Placing the staff on the desk she went to work reconnecting the served wires, proper tools would have been nice but after a few minutes all the connection were repair, not the most refined job but it would do for the time being. Using the force she pushed the two end back together creating a workable but slightly unbalanced weapon, turning the switch she was greeted by the familiar zapping sound of the staff, "I guess some practice won't hurt".

Standing up she started going through some basic swings and motions, trying to get a feel of wielding a weapon again, perhaps she would ask her master if she was allowed to crate a light-saber staff as her weapon, though such a though seemed to be a long way off. She went though another routine getting slightly more fluent as the movement came back to her, it had been a while since she had used the weapon. This continued until she ended up dropping the staff due to her left arm not responding quick enough, "This is going to be a problem".

Kyrel hooked his saber to his belt and placed his hands behind his back, he silently meditated on the dark side, his rage fueling his power as such was the way of the dark side. He ignored his surroundings mostly as the custodial droids took care of the mess left with the Training droids. He felt his apprentice approach and eagerly waited for her arrival sensing that she might have some words with him.

He was, in fact, counting on it, from what he could tell she was not happy with him regarding taking another apprentice that could prove to be her rival. He, on the other hand, didn't care as he needed to bolster the Ren's ranks, and taking any Force Sensitive would do. As a Master of Ren, it was his duty to the Supreme Leader to increase the ranks, and so he would do just that.

When she did approach, he was still facing the transparasteel window. Watching the hellish atmosphere as she spoke. He knew she was angry even if she wasn't displaying it to him at this moment. He knew her of course and knew she wouldn't say anything, but no matter he had listened to her speak about why he had brought her. He spoke coldly. "I brought her because if she would not become part of the Ren, she would die at my hand. She chose to become part of the Ren, therefore I brought her here. I also brought her here because perhaps in time if you fail then maybe she could become what you cannot."

He said knowing he was walking a thin line, but he was using it to his advantage, he knew how she would handle it, but it depends on what her reaction would be. Throughout the entire time, he did not look at her but kept looking at the window his tone not showing any hint of emotion but a slight layer of coldness.
