He let her sleep, and didn't move. There was no need. Eventually he drifted off for a little bit himself. Unlike her, though, he needed very little sleep. A nap was just a refreshing change of pace. He kept her wrapped close to him as they slept, and didn't move a muscle so as not to disturb her. He wanted her pretty little head to stay sound asleep for as long as possible. Eventually he did wake, though. It was several hours later and he felt rejuvenated. She was going to have to get up soon so that she could slip into her dress. Hand stroked up and down her back, flat so he didn't dig his claws into her. He always had to be delicate with her, but in most ways he liked that. It was nice to be gentle with her.

Lenne needed all the rest she could get. Like all females in the galaxy, when her body was busy creating life, she was exhausted. Thankfully, she was not a light sleeper in the least and was able to sleep through just about anything. Being in her lovers arms certainly didn't hurt matters either.

They slept for hours until he woke, feeling rather refreshed. A quick glance around them told him everything was safe and sound. Reaching down, he rubbed his finger along the bridge of Lenne's nose, intent on waking her from her sleep. It was likely close to time for them to come out of hyperspace, which meant she was going to need to get dressed. "Lenne, dearest, wake up." She was so adorable when she was sleeping. Brushing her back a little, he continued to lay still beneath her so that she could wake slowly and wasn't that disturbed. They weren't in that big of a hurry. If they were close to reversion the warning klaxons would be going off, and they weren't. They had a few moments.

"Lenne, dearest, wake up."
Someone was pulling her from sleep. She struggled against it, she tried to keep consciousness at bay, but eventually she started stirring. The woman moaned rubbing at her eyes.
"Five more minutes...." she mumbled opening one eye before closing it again.

He opened his mouth to say not, but then checked the chrono and shrugged. "Five more minutes," he said as he continued to lay there, rubbing her back now rather than her nose. Let her rest a bit more. He knew more than anyone that she needed to sleep. The little one growing within her womb needed her to rest in order for it to grow big and strong and her to be healthy for it to grow. So, he'd let her sleep a few more minutes and then she would have to get up whether she wanted or not.

Of course, she said five more minutes, but what she really meant was do not disturb me. She nuzzled his chest, happily drifting perfectly back to sleep.

But she couldn't stay asleep. Five minutes passed and she didn't stir. Frowning, he knew she was going to be mad at him, but there wasn't a choice. She needed to get up and get dressed. She had a way of getting mad about these things that he knew was due to the pregnancy, but that didn't make it any easier to deal with. He always had to fight hard not to snap back at her. "Lenne. Wake up. You need to get dressed." Running his hand down her back, he slipped it beneath her shirt to run fingers gently up and down her spine. He knew it was going to be hard for her to wake up, but the touches should help ease her out of it at least a little bit.

Grumpy. That was the word for how she felt now. How dare someone wake her? She opened one eye again, grumbling angrily.
"Remove that hand from my back, or you're gunna lose that hand," she mumbled groggily lifting her head to look her Prince right in the eye, "And I heard ya the first time."
Although, honestly, she didn't really hear him the first time.

"Sure you did. That's why you asked for five more minutes." He smirked a little bit and didn't remove his hand. She could be mean when she wanted to be, but she wasn't going to take the only real hand that he had left, no matter whether she wanted or not. She was just being grumpy because she was being woken up. He didn't say a word to her beyond that first little bit, just kept running his fingers up and down her spine. Despite her grumpy behavior, he knew that deep down she rather liked that feeling. She would be alright in a few moments, anyway.

More grumbling, but eventually she managed to roll off of him, mumbling about the injustice of it all.
"I'm up, I'm up..." she groaned staggering to her feet, "Now what did you want from me? I need my beauty sleep..."

She rolled off of him and his hand fell away. Though, it quickly reached out to rub her tummy a bit before he moved to sit up on the cot. "We're almost to Falleen. It's time for you to go and get yourself cleaned up and dressed." He knew she didn't want to, really, but it would be expected of her to look her best when she met his parents. He wanted her to make a good first impression because he knew that his parents were going to, at first, reject her because she was not a Falleen. They would be made to see reason once everything was explained to them, but that would take some work. At least he could count on them not to assault her since she was with him. Reaching his hand upwards, he touched the underside of her chin lightly with a claw. "We can sleep more later on. In a very big, very comfortable bed."

The promise of a warm, comfortable bed was enough to get her moving. Still mumbling to herself, she slipped into the fluffy orange dress running a comb through her short chestnut hair. What to do with her hair? It was so short...
"Radon, I need help," she practically whined, "I don't know what to do with my hair!"

He watched her dress. Why wouldn't he? She was delicious to look at. But then she posed a problem and he tilted his head to the side as he regarded her. What was wrong with her hair? He scratched his chin. "Hmm..." Standing up, he walked over to her and lifted his hand to ruffle the hair on the top of her head until it looked sufficiently disorganized to the point where it looked organized. "There. I like that look. The disheveled look works well with your short hair." He tilted her chin up so she was looking at him, and then leaned down to kiss her. "Take a seat and strap yourself in. We should be landing soon." He smiled and walked to the cockpit where he sat and strapped himself in to get things started.

he just ruffled her hair! She was actually too shocked to say anything about it for a moment. Silently she did as she was told, sitting down, parting stray locks of chestnut hair around her horns. She was simply going to have to hope his Mother, and Queen, would not notice how incredibly terrified she was.
"What if your mother hates me and throws me in a dungeon or something?"

"Have you ever wanted to have sex while in chains?" It was a terrible joke, he knew, but he couldn't resist making it. "Relax, Lenne. You won't be thrown in any dungeons. Just be calm and be yourself. If you get overly nervous, try to focus on the little one growing inside of you and what the child will mean for both of our people." The warning light beeped and he reached for the hyperspace lever and pulled it back to bring them out of the whiteness. Falleen suddenly loomed in front of them and he immediately called to the authorities there who he was and that he would be landing at the palace. He flew them down towards the planet, it was easier to fly with nothing in the way, and brought them above the palace where he brought the landing gear out and turned on the repulsorlifts before lowering them down. The first time he almost missed the pad, but he corrected and got them settled before powering down the ship and heading back to her. "Alright, we're at the palace. Are you ready? The first thing you'll see is the Royal guard, and they'll escort us inside. There might be a minister or two waiting, whom I will speak with briefly before telling them that I need to see my mother and father and then you and I will go to them."

Calm. Calm. Calm. Easier said than done. He was the Prince of Falleen. Nobody was going to hurt him. But Lenne? She was just some Zabrak girl from a large, average family. If you forgot about the baby growing insider her, there really wasn't anything special about her.
"O-okay," she answered nervously, "I'll follow you then."

She was special to him. She might forget that, but she was. He grabbed her cheeks gently and leaned down to give first her forehead, then her lips, a kiss as his way of telling her that everything would be alright. Then he had her slip her arm through his and led her to the boarding ramp, which he lowered. As expected, there was a contingent of guards waiting for them. He led her down and through them and they turned to follow the two towards the palace and the main doors there. This was her best chance to get a feel for the relatively warm world that she found herself upon. "This is Falleen Throne, our capital city. I know it's humid here, and likely somewhat uncomfortable for you, but our rooms will have temperature control and I can take the humidity out of the air for you."

Humid. Everything was warmer for her when she was in this condition. She could feel a line of sweat break out at her brow. She followed him, arm in arm.
"I'm alright," she insisted, putting on a brave smile.
Absently, one hand went to the slight bulge at her normally flat stomach.

Reaching his hand over, he pat her hand lightly as they walked up to the massive palace doors. When the doors opened, he was surprised to find that it wasn't a minister or two waiting to see him, but his parents. His mother was dressed head to toe in royal garb and looked absolutely stunning. His father looked immensely displeased, but stood nonetheless beside his wife and Queen. "Radon. Why do you bring this creature here?" The first thing he did was rest his hand over hers to make sure she remained calm. "Father listen to me. Closely. This woman is my fiance. She carries within her my child. Her species is not like the other species of this galaxy and she is very important to me. Now I would ask that you respect that."

His mother blanched a bit and then looked at Lenne. She noticed the hand resting on her abdomen and frowned. "Why did you not pick another Falleen to carry your child, Radon. You know we had several lined up for you." Radon shook his head. "Mother our species has limitations. We have flaws. You know this, same as I do. My being with her, our child, will perfect both of our races. Our species will no longer have the limitations it does now. Besides," he said as he turned to look at her, "I love her." His father just continued to frown, but his mother was looking at Lenne still. She reached out a hand to touch Lenne beneath the chin and lift her eyes up to her. "Tell me, young Zabrak. Why are you with my son?"

If not for Radon right there with her, Lenne would have fled the palace crying. Creature. That was what she was called. Her cheeks blazed the color of fire. Her eyes found the floor. It was the only thing she wanted to look at. She tried her best to stand straight and tall. She tried her hardest to look like a Princess, but she knew she was failing. The best he could do was let Radon explain.
Or so she thought.

The clawed hand of his Mother reached out, tilting her chin up, forcing her eyes to meet hers. She swallowed, preparing her to tear out her throat with those claws. But what she asked made Lenne blink at her, eyebrows raised in surprise.
"I... Well, I love him," she answered simply, "He makes me... happy."
