DESCRIPTION
With the new line of starships which would be produced for the Imperial Military Protectorate and its allies, the Aresian engineers set its sights, partly together with Dalness Manufacturing & Shipbuilding of Anaxes, to create a new generation of starfighters for the remnant market.
Together with the new Interceptor, the engineers took inspiration from an old First Order ship and implemented the hull design around a powerful array of weapons. The goal was to create a ship which would excel at taking out escorts and provide heavy close air support and surface assaults when called upon. The TIE Scorpion would live up to these expectations. Not designed for dogfights, but able to take down other fighters, it was an ideal craft to work alongside the TIE Titan to conduct raids and work in formations.
