The Siege of Commenor [TSE/CSA]

Location: SJO embassy
Allies: SJO, CSA and allies
Enemies: TSE and any fools they brought along.

Yuroic looked himself in the mirror, cutting out the spice in his life was not an easy task. Allyson had made sure that he couldn't make or take spice anymore and drinking was taken away, Asaraa was also keeping a closer eye on him as well. He wondered if that was Asaraa was also at the Silver Jedi Order Embassy on Commenor, though, that could have been a self-centered thought considering the dire situation that the Commenor Systems Alliance was unfortunately in. The Sith Empire was on the warpath, being destruction and misery to all worlds that dare to defy their ways.

Checking his bloodshot eyes, Yuroic heard rumbling in the distance. This was odd, Yuroic didn't expect earthquakes or thunder and lightning, weather had been quite lovely the past few days while Yuroic endured the many discussions on what to do about the blockade and the plans going forward. It was difficult to concentrate while his body was craving the drug he's not allowed. Wandering from quarters he was using, Yuroic grabbed his bow and Lightsabers. It seemed a situation was occuring, since as he left the room, people were rushing around everywhere. Yuroic stopped a nearby person, asking them what was occuring.

"The Sith Empire! They've arrived to Commenor Master Jedi!" They said. Yuroic waved them off and shook his head. Not again, this was the Galactic Alliance all over again. This time, Yuroic would attempt to help get as many people off world as he could, they needed to leave. Walking into another room, he noticed Jairdain, Itakchi and his Padawan, Saka. Things did not seem good. "Well, Jairdain, where do we start with the evacuation plans?" This was her faction, she knew it better than any of the SJO.

First there had been a blockade, that was a little archaic, but still, a pretty effective way to press an enemy's economy and make them wish that they had agreed to your demands. Then came the stories of children and other refugees taken on their ships by the sith and used in a horrendous ritual, dying in agony to fuel the Sith Magic. That had been the worst news drifting through the intelligence reports that made their way over to Asaraa, but then there came the report that Lady Kay had gathered a fleet and had broken the Sith blockade. That had been news that no-one had expected but had proven to be a welcome ray of light through the dark shroud the Sith left wherever they went. Now this, a war fleet driving through space to surround Commenor, bolts or raw energy assailing the shielding spread over Chasin City.

The fleet of ships surrounding the planet had proven to be no match for the Sleipnir, the sleek ship's cloak allowing it to wend it's way through the Sith ships undetected, so close infact that Asaraa felt she could reach out and touch them, could feel the sailors going about their duties. Combat, the destruction of the fleet wasn't her task today, instead she had a packed ship full of Silver Jedi, Rangers and their Allies from across the galaxy to deliver to the surface. The girl sat in the pilot's seat of her ship, Odin already plugged into the system had calculated a route through the Sith fleet, and all she had to do was hold to it, a job well within her piloting skills as she let the AI take care of the hard number crunching. This landing was probably going to be the most relaxing part of her day Asaraa commiserated as she forced herself up to her feet, one fit slapping against the harness release that had held her in her chair. The pink-haired girl reached out with one hand, a slim digit flicking at a button on her control panel. "Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your captain speaking, we thank you for riding Silver Airways. We hope you enjoyed your flight, if you look out of the left window you will see the beauty of Chasin City, the rightside window gives us a grand view of the Sith encampment. We ask you please check by your feet for anything you might have left behind, if you forget it then it's all mine." She grinned, reaching out a hand to pluck her sword and shield from the droid who had been holding them while they'd been landing.

The door that opened revealed an incongruous sight, the doorway revealing a hole in the cloak that sheathed the ship, showing the interior, hiding within it a swarm of combatants who spilt out, lead by the Padawan who nodded at the city. "First stop is the embassy, we'll secure the building and then start shifting..." Her voice trailed off as she saw the red-haired woman who she'd been asked to ferry to the planet appeared in the doorway, "One planet under siege, just as promised," she stated, sweeping an arm out as if revealing a great jewel, "we're headed into the city to meet up with the rest of the Jedi, and help with the evacuation. If you're headed our way you're more than welcome to share a ride." She purposefully didn't look at the rangers as they acquired transport for the troops that had arrived.

Tom knew this battle was coming. One of Rex's final notes had been about this being a possibility. So he had hidden himself within the city with a number of medics who were leading people into the bunkers and away from the fighting. He on the other hand was looking for [member="Beth Australis-Mantis"]. He knew she was her because not long before the battle had started he had felt her force presence. One he himself had been around a lot. He would when he found her call her something besides her real name out loud.

He was sure she was acting like him a free agent that didn't want to be know that he was here. He eventually found her Genesis quickly made a private channel between the two. so inside the comm unit "Beth I know it is you. It's me Tom. If we want to get through this undetected we need other names out loud." He would pause "Call me timothy and I will call you debra. Trust me it will work."

Tom would then out loud say "Debra what are you doing here, come on the rest of the medics are leading people down to the bunkers lets get a move on." He would then begin moving people directly to the bunkers as the Sith continued their assault upon commenor.

Darth Scuros still aboard the capital ship that brought him to the battle quickly boarded a drop ship with fellow Sith and some troopers. They quickly made their way down to the surface of the planet and exited the drop ship, joining with the rest of the Sith forces on the ground. He was immediately shot at by sever Commeror soldier, but ignitws his twon lightsabers and deflects every shot back to sender. Scuros then runs at the first shooter with force speed and cuts them in half.
"That was a good try, but no."

The Systems Alliance was at an end.

That much was clear as she watched hordes of dropships descend from the scorched skies, and the city's theater shield flare with each collision of beam fire and projectiles. It appeared that she had come too late to Commenor with her offer to break the Sith's blockades. They were already upon Commenor itself.

Now it was about survival.

Planetside, Chasin City's saving grace was its powerful shield suite, which had allowed the capital to weather any bombardment and give defenders some time to organize as the Sith came planetside. As long as it was up, the Sith's assault would be greatly blunted. Undoubtedly that would make the shield generators in the city a prime target for attack. Until reinforcements came, she only had about a platoon of Rangers and a handful of Jedi on hand. Not enough to make a difference at the primary front, but they would be more than enough to help the Commenori defend the shield generator.

She was still fitting her armor as she reached out to Knight Iakchi, who seemed to have a handle on the evacuation as she coordinated with the Silver Spacy and Commenori.

"In fifteen minutes, I want all support staff off the premises and on their way to a shelter," she told her Wookiee counterpart. "Fry the servers, then I want you and the remaining Rangers to join me at the city's shield generators. For now, it'll just be us until reinforcements gets here."

In a rush, she didn't wait for a response from him. She was already out of the door a few steps later, hugging her helmet under her arm. Past the gates of the Embassy, she could see a mix of dour looking soldiers and panicked civilians running down the streets.

She hopped into a big black airspeeder, a sleek luxury model usually reserved for diplomatic runs. It was already filled with Jedi and Rangers. As soon as she shut the door, she was off with the first airspeeder for the shield generators.

The reach of The Saaraishash extended far; eyes and ears that could glean wisdoms and intelligence, well beyond the borders of Sith Space. Not a single shadow absent their looming presence, a single Starport, their wandering glare. The voluminous ranks of their Agents were Legion; gentle, and beautiful Commenor. . . by no means an exception.

Had more time been appropriated beforehand, the adumbral wraiths of [member="Darth Saarai"], unquestionably, could have offered a slaughter for the Emperor to gorge himself upon. But [member="Darth Carnifex"] was a creature of warfare and conflict, persistent in his climb to the Throne, yet always lusting to bathe himself in the sort of bloodshed that had whet his ascension. So once more, the sons and daughters of the Sith Empire would muster; the fete of a full-scale Siege unfurling before them.

Some time prior, Operatives from within the Saaraishash had come to ground on the infamous Eldritch Mountains. Massive, snow powdered, peaks that bulged upwards to dizzying heights. Unmarked, they lacked any official designation; known simply as Section 13. Their job had been simple: Gather intelligence, make contact with sleeper cells, designate targets of interest.

From sheer cliff sides, to mammoth, highland trails. They had descended upon the City in secret, disguised and ambiguous, not even outfitted with weaponry to wage war. For all any of the Commenori knew, they were simply faceless tourists from somewhere out across the Stars, here to take in the splendor of the Three Faces, or the pristine charm of Rock Point Bay. Perhaps Dine in style at any of their Legendary Eateries.

The grim reality however, saw them profiling defensive capabilities, accurately measuring distance and position of Key Infrastructure, individualizing sacred sites or weak points. It was a task that needed time to steep, were it to imbue the Imperial War Machine with the necessary astringency - but alas, the drums of war could not be silenced. By the time the Sith arrived, only an estimated thirty-seven percent of the Mission had saw completion.

Some data, however, was better than wading in entirely blind.

Oblivion stooped downward over delicate Chasin City, heralding a terrible necrosis across the pristine landscapes. Immense beasts of steel and fire; disgorging untamed ruination that threatened to eradicate all of the peaceful life and splendor of this magnificent World. Booming roars sent the Commenori fleeing under the protection of great and powerful domes of energy. Those brave enough to fight, willing to do so with unflinching loyalty, and a sort of dignity to duty that drained any sense of fear from their eyes.

The Siege had begun.

Those first waves of Sith served only to shatter the cherished soil of the Southern Pass, the once picturesque vibrancy in the Valley of Storms wilting under the decay as Plow and Shovel furrowed the grounds; guttering out a network of Trenchlines in haste, under the Aerial Support of the Sith Empire Navy and Artillery, with guidance from crack Forward Air Controllers and Observers.

For seven hours, it had been a thankless and bloody job, casualties had been moderate, but entirely acceptable.

Rough-hewn, but rugged, the Sith Empires Field Works extended far across the Valley. Frontline Trenches wrought deep, descending nearly 2.1 meters below ground level and 2 meters wide. With the Firing-steps, Parapets and Parados' fashioned for the gross average height of the typical Stormtrooper, though most assuredly, not the typical Zambrano. Shaped with alternating Traverses, a multitude of Funk Holes, Duraplast Reinforcement and Duck-Boards, they were built to withstand the pressure and last for as long as the Emperor commanded.

Behind it, Fortified PreFab Gun Houses were being machined in by the might of powerful Machines that growled and snapped with hydraulic pressure. Support Trenches striped the ground like massive scars, extending backwards from the Front towards the Artillery Line for what looked like an eternity. Somewhere in there, the Emperor and his Shadow Hand, [member="Darth Prazutis"] stood; observing the work and chaos, and tormenting poor Veiere Arenais for his hubris. Yes dear man, even your beloved Commenor offers no safety from the Might of the Empire.

Belphaegor had retreated from the Front some time therein, sodden and filthy, he'd only stayed long enough to see the Vibro-Wire hauled forward across the forward most Entrenchment. By the time he'd entered the Dugout the Saaraishash Agent [member="Vestille Thumahra"] had expropriated, it was already well under way towards full completion.

The Inquisitor entered silently, his Master, [member="Matsu Xiangu"] directly behind him, his head already throbbing under the endless din of Heavy Artillery. All around them work continued, Tactical Displays blinking to life as tiny Nezumi Operatives darted about - five Nezumi to a Cable - heaving the electronic life lines towards various destinations.

"Comms Up! "

"Strategic Display almost Live. "

"HoloNet Access hot. "

The equipment functionality confirmations began pouring in as the pale Maenan thudded towards the Map. Every few moments casting a spiteful glare towards Matsu from over his shoulder.

"Do we have the Intel from Section 13 uploaded yet? " He questioned pointedly, giving another scornful glance towards his Master as he rested one gloved hand on to the edge of the table, leaning in to the blue illumination of it's Feed.

"Working on it, shall we Forward it to the Emperor as well? "

The blow to the back of his legs sent the former King of Commenor crumbling to the ground, the Dark Lord of the Sith Empire standing to Veiere's right, wishing for his captive former Jedi to play witness to the death and destruction of all that he had loved. Chasin City, the Capital and the Political Heart of the Commenor Systems Alliance remained cloaked in a protective shroud, something entirely new since Veiere's last days in leadership.

Though he felt grateful for the small ounce of hope, Veiere Arenais had been brought here by the Invading Forces. He'd been captured during the Sith Invasion of the Rebel Alliance, he had meant to come to their aid, yet intercepted and overcome by [member="Alkor Centaris"], he'd been beaten, drugged and delivered to [member="Darth Carnifex"]. He too understood the Armada that the Sith had brought with them, an unrelenting Force of death in support of their Emperor.

How the Sith had reached Commenor so easily, Veiere could only speculate. He'd been imprisoned for weeks now, unaware of the blockade that had surrounded the Systems Alliance territories and forced many of their world's to resign themselves to independent leadership in a bid to escape the onslaught of the Empire coming down upon them today. Somewhere, still within the cover of Chasin City's deflective shield, Veiere questioned his families whereabouts. With luck, their children would be far from this madness. [member="Caedyn Arenais"] had been sent away to train with the Je'daii Order under [member="Asha Hex"]'s guidance. [member="Loreena Arenais"] had been training with the Mandalorian Empire, yet returned and asked to be taken on as Veiere's personal Apprentice; That was days before his capture...

The situation could not be looking any worse for the disgraced King. During his arrest, the Mandalorian had stripped Veiere of his weapons and since then, he'd all but his Robes to call his own; they themselves offering little in the way of protection during such hostile times. Before all of this, Veiere had sought the silence and isolation that was the path of Exile. He had shamed himself in his fall to the Darkside and his allowing his emotions and selfish pride to cloud his judgement; the new shields over Chasin City could even be in part his doing thanks to the Dark Jedi Fleet that had come seeking to rescue him from the judgement of the CSA Government following the incident on Deneba. Such times, great remorse followed and Veiere had since tried to emphasis his mistakes to his daughter, that she might never follow in his footsteps.

None of that mattered now, however. Death had come to Commenor and many people would be slaughtered had the Shields but to fail.

"Stop this madness, Carnifex..." Veiere tried to speak up to the Dark Lord of the Sith, pleading for Commenor's survival; "Commenor is not a Military Power, they cannot hope to survive this, you must know this...".

Ithnan's mind body and soul was a cocktail of both excitement and nervousness. On the one hand, he couldn't help but feel that this was his time to reap the fruit of his labor. All that training would once again filter into a purified liquid that had to be immovable, unbreakable, and breathtaking. that is what it meant to be Sith, to be a cut above anyone who'd dare puff out their chest and call themselves equal. This was one of those moments once again, only this time it was a new youngling, Commenor.

The metal ship rocked several times during its descent. Blaster fire scraped alongside it, joining the chorus of colors already blessing the sky. Below them was their target and prize the capital city itself. He had overheard many of the other soldiers speaking of it and its riches. His goal was to take what he could and bring as much prestige to his name that a battle like this would allow but first....he had to land.

The ship rocked once more and he could feel the force of the descent picking up until finally touched down and the gates to glory opened giving him the full ballad of war as swarms of ships touched down alongside him and a literal sea of soldiers marched, rushed, and roared into the fire of battle. It was marvelous, a sight one could only awe at their first couple of times seeing it. Paired with the innumerable ships painting the sky from the atmosphere Ithnan almost felt like he was in a work of art. An image that would speak about by scholars and philosophers of the far future. Heart enflamed and thirst peaked he stormed off the transport and took stock of enemy.

Needless to say, it was lacking. From his first steps onto the transport to his last he had seen a horde of Imperial ships culling what Ithnan could barely call a fleet of CSA disputers. It was a foolish effort, to say the least, and the fact that the skies would remain theirs was a nice platform to steady himself on as he moved forward toward the frontline. His deployment was the front line and from the landscape, he moved over it was clear that those in the front had weathered a few volleys of fire before the full force of the cavalry arrived.

The radio on him sparked to life as orders from the top road down the chain of command "All troopers in sector Z...3...8...4-"

It cut out for a few seconds before once again reviving " All troopers in sector Z384 are to move to the designated area and enter the city from below, deactivate those shields. I repeat, all tro-" The transmission cut again as the sound of blaster fire muffled the message down into a quiet whisper.

Despite its untimely demise the message was clear and his goal set. If they were to do anything besides stare at the feast they would need to remove the giant barrier between it and them. It was no simple task as he was sure a hole like that would be guarded by now, but it wasn't like these people could reflect the full force of the Darkside. His saber hilt in hand he set about looking for an entry point to the city.

This was his Home-World.

Despite Caedyn's leave to train under the Je'daii Order and later becoming a part of the Silver Jedi Order during a time where his Master [member="Asha Hex"] had disappeared, Caedyn Arenais had and would forever hold a great love over the world that he had grown up on, the world that his family was responsible for. As a member of the House Arenais, the Royal Family held a duty to protect and support the Commenori people. In the past, his father had failed to uphold this duty and disgraced their reputation, yet Caedyn had vowed never to be like Veiere Arenais. He would never turn his back on his own.

During the Skirmish led by [member="Lady Kay"] against the blockade of their territories, Caedyn had used the attack as a way to get back into CSA Space. [member="Bradshaw Ku"] had been his mentor in dog-fighting aboard the likes of Starfighters like his fathers old X-Wing that had been passed down to him, but today would be a battle of the land and of opposing Wills, the Sith and their own.

He'd been too busy to question the whereabouts of his Father, though his Sister was another matter entirely. [member="Loreena Arenais"] was his twin and someone with whom he held a connection with in the Force. He had yet to find her while seeking to aid Olivia in the evacuation of the Royal Palace. The Capital City was riddled with underground tunnels and complex's for which the CSA kept civilians away from. Today however, it'd be their saving grace were any of them to survive the invasion of the Sith Empire.

Having led the first group down safely to cover of the hidden facilities, Caedyn began to double back for the Palace where he could be of some use to his Mother. Upon his back, the Buckler weighed on him some, making his movement sound with every tap of metal against the harness that held it in place. Once the fighting started, it would be upon his arm and the lightsaber that swayed against the magnetic clamp on his hip would be ablaze in his hand. Caedyn had prepared for this, both in training under his Master [member="Asha Hex"] but so too through the support of the Silver Jedi and his skills in the creation of arms and armaments with which he would defend the innocent with.

"Mom, the first groups down" Caedyn called to [member="Lady Kay"] as he entered into what had become the command center of the CSA's final stand; "Why're you still here?" He questioned her soon after, however. Caedyn was only Sixteen Years Old but the Galaxy had forced him to grow up a lot in the past year alone thanks to the trauma that battle often brought, coupled with more personal catastrophes.

Most astonishing was the Force that flowed around the Queen of Commenor. His Mom had always hidden her ability to wield the power of the Force, ever since she had been a member of the Republic and criticized, forced to resign out of fear of corruption and misuse of the power over politics; Caedyn had never seen her carry it in such open disregard for her own comfort and safe keeping. "You're going to fight...?" He spoke aloud at the realization, his anxiety and concern showing in his voice as he looked to his Mother with a great deal of unease and discomfort.

My name is ruin,
My name is evil,
My name's a war song,
I sing you a new one.

The Sith had come to Commenor. SPECTRE had obtained intelligence previously that such was going to come to pass. In preparation, he and a few others had infiltrated the world and slipped away in the dark of night, finding places to prepare themselves for the coming battle. They had not alerted the CSA to the impending attackdespite their knowledge. Ot was not their way to expose themselves, and their information broker hadn't found someone willing to pirchase the information. Such was the nature of things.

When they came, their presence was announced by ships. It was the standard procedure to send in a navy to fight the defense forces and to land ground forces. Only on occasion did attacking forces use infiltration to attack a world. He found those the most dangerous situations because it was hard to tell who was a friend and who was a foe. For them, though, this wasn't much of an issue. They did not count the CSA as allies. They weren't enemies, but if killing one of them was necessary to kill a Sith, most SPECTRE operatives would do so.

As the Sith forces began their landing on the world, preparing to destroy yet another galactic government, Shadow stood on the top of one of the cities tall buildings, watching from the shadow of an antenna tower. He stared up towards the skies above, counting the drop ships out of curiosity on numbers. CSA wasn't incapable of fielding troops, but when the Sith forces broke through he wanted to know how much he was going to have to worry about their numbers while he killed the actual Sith. Preparedness was important to life span.

He crossed one arm over his chest and lifted his other hand to press a button on his SODD. A keyboard appeared in holographic form and he tapped away, sending a message to COPR, SPECTRE's hidden database of information, as to his whereabouts and the status of the invasion. The information would be useful to other operatives that might be acting within the confines of Sith space. The concentration of Sith forces at Commenor would make it easier for others to eliminate important Imperial targets.

His hand reached around to check the hilt of his blade as he reached out to his surroundings and monitored them cautiously. As soon as a target presented itself he would take the opportunity. With so many in one location, they could make an impact. These situations were rare for them to get involved so heavily in. Most of the time they were lucky to have one person on a world. He wasn't going to squander the opportunity by engaging early. Patience was key.

Oh no.

Rook had found himself on both ends of a blaster before, but to say he'd stared down the humming blade of a Sith or a Jedi as it's bright light reflected from his eye? No, fortunately that wasn't a familiar sight. Even hoping it was something he was never to come across, but in this game there was no room for everything you wanted. It was something that was bound to happen eventually, too. Suppose he just ran out of luck, or caught himself in the wrong place at the wrong time; maybe it was luck that'd see him through the day. If not? Well, let's just hope he's not impaled by the end of it all.

His eyes had stared into the skies, squinting as the sunlight washed over him. It wasn't evident at first as to what was truly up there, some sort of artistic display, maybe? Commenor's Systems Alliance is as peaceful as they come, nobody would wish to invade them, no? Turns out the smuggler hadn't paid much in the way of attention towards the warring nature of the Sith Empire. They had an awfully nasty bark, and even more dangerous bite. The sooner he could escape Commenor? The better.

First things first. Where's Ayessa?

The Scoundrel cast a glance down at R2-C4, and it appeared as if it was looking right back up at him. The two never really got along all that much, but in reality Rook was indifferent as of now. The Droid wasn't entirely a fan after being used as bait back on Nar Shaddaa. In the moment landing craft had begun it's descent, Lokar decided it was high-time to avoid the streets. As a result, he and his robotic companion moved in doors. As to what the building was, Rook paid little to no mind.

A hand ran towards the commlink within his pocket, holding it before his mouth and uttering the words, "Where are you?" He didn't sound nearly as distressed as Ayessa, but he was something of an expert at pretending to be something he's not. She knew that too well.

Objective: Let the Shadow Hand in.

Mythos met his yellow orbs with the man, taller than him by much and reminding him of all the Valkyr that he had fought in Midvinter. He offered him a smile and a nod, the knight reminded him of his younger self in so many ways. He did not offer a rebuttal to his answers, there was much more important and pressing matters to attend to. When they bolted out of the barricaded office they made haste in direction to the Commenori Senate Council chamber where Mythos had set up a command center with the help of [member="Mara Rockwell"]. It was literally outside his office, as soon as they dashed The Nubian Strike team took defensive position around them to protect them from every angle, once in place and given the security signal, meaning all teams were in position Mythos took control of the command center and began powering down a very specific part of the Shield defenses. Anubian technicians manned the technical part of things with no displays and only their strange lever-like technology, Mythos having ruled there still did not know a lot of the inner workings of Anubian technology, it was technology, he knew it was but it behaved like magic.

"It's simple" Mythos began, pulling out a holographic map of Chasin city, indicating their position and the position of every high ranking Commenori official as to give an accurate feed of how the battle lines were drawn so Mythos could place them and micro manage them from here, at least the ones he commanded. "We are going to power down a small part of the shield here, where we can establish an escape route here". He said, signaling in the map the exit and entry point for the 'medical party' "For those within the shield that cannot survive when the shield falls and that artillery that could make [member="Isamu Baelor"] blush turns Chasin city into my new favorite Archaeological digsite. We have wounded and sick inside and we need to get them out into Silver Jedi space to get some medical attention, I have a team ready for pick up with specialized equipment that Commenor does not have. Prepare to help them as soon as they come through the gateway."

Powering down a section of the shield could not normally be done but with the help of the craziest hacker druggie in Commenor Mythos was able to do it. Anubians handled the operating and soon enough Mythos knew the outer shields began to come down. While they did their job Mythos also over looked his fire teams and Strike Teams that all held no loyalty to Commenor but to him. Each sector was covered and he had a sniper with an experimental rifle trained close by to the Jedi Knight. Far enough not to look suspcisious but close enough to snap and shoot if necessary. It did not matter either way, they would be gone soon too. Braxus needed an escort, No one better than the NSF.

"We have a very small window of opportunity" He was right on that one, they really did, once the small part of the shield went up again Mara herself would have to come back. They needed to be punctual and on the letter.

Rook's voice brought some relief-- At least he wasn't dead, that was a step-up than what she'd been expecting --but his false bravado also did little to soothe her, if anything it elicited an eye-roll and nothing more, "A marketplace. They're trying to evacuate but there's a lot of people. Where are you?"

All sorts of people blew past the Jedi who stood still like a rock among rapids, trying desperately to collect what shreds of her connection to the Force that she could manage in the moment to calm her breakneck heart and soothe herself. You've been in sieges before, both as the besieger and the defender, a calm, level-headed voice reminded, this isn't anything new.

But back then I had my men. The backing of the Republic. Fellow Jedi that I trusted.

And I wasn't up against Sith.

Her lightsaber, concealed in it's specially-designed pocket, was practically burning against her skin as she started to move, still speaking into the comlink, "I'm going to try and reach the docks, alright? The shield is still holding." For now. Who knew how long it would last against the might being thrown at it? Ayessa had never been the most brilliant tactician ever produced of the old Order, but she still knew that with the amount of ordinance being thrown around by the Sith, eventually, something was going to break.

And it looked like that 'something' was going to be Chasin City.

R2-C4 | Lightsaber (Concealed, detectable by FS/FU)

Darth Scuros spotted a Jedi on the battlefield and extinguished his secondary lightsaber as he made his way toward them. A soldier shot at him only to have his blaster bolt deflected back at his face. A second soldier fired at him as well and was killed, like the others when his shot was deflected back at his chest. Scuros grabbed the soldier with the force and threw him at the Jedi's lightsaber, cutting the poor guy in two as well as getting the Jedi's attention. However by the time the Jedi had noticed him, he was already too close for comfort and Scuros jumped over her, bringing his lightsaber down hard, which the she struggled to block.

"Well hello, Jedi. How are you on this fine day?" He said as the face of his mask opened up to reveal his grey, grinning face. His face had some Rattataki tattoos and scars on it.

"Better now that you're here." The Jedi said sarcastically and with a grunt as she pushed back against his lightsaber.

Now the Jedi tried to strike back at him with a slash aimed for his gut, but was swiftly blocked by the Sith. Scuros attempted to slash at her neck, but she blocked the blade before it could swing over her shoulder before once again pushing back. After she pushed back the Jedi took a stepped backwards and pulled her arm back to thrust forward. Scuros however dodged the attack, extinguished his lightsaber and grabbed her by the arm, turning his back to her as he threw her over his shoulder. The Jedi rolled as she hit the ground before getting up and facing the Sith, wiping spit from her mouth.

Scuros simply looked at her disappointed as he shot force lightning at her while the Jedi left herself open. "Is that really all you've got?"
"Nope." She ran at him and attempted to cut his left arm off, but he simply tossed his lightsaber into his left hand before blocking.
"You're done Jedi." the Sith said as he pulled his second lightsaber from his robes with the force and into his right hand, successfully slashing across her gut. He had succeeded in convincing the Jedi he only had one lightsaber. She dropped her lightsaber and fell to the ground as her life faded away.
"You put up a good fight, but not good enough. You should have aimed for the neck." He said mockingly before plunging both lightsabers into her chest, killing her instantly. He spit on the Jedi as he walked away to fight the next adversary.

An Unjust Galaxy
The Bounty Hunter had been referred to, on several occasions, as the 'Emperor's Hound'. It was, as expected, used in a derogatory fashion, a way to imply he was nothing more than a lap-dog to the Dark Lord of the Sith. Often something spouted by those of which who were bound and tied, within Fett's possession; soon to be delivered to a fate worse than death itself, or so it often was. They always failed to see the practicality in strengthening such ties, however. The Mandalorian was certain that it was the Sith who were to survive these wars, and do so triumphantly. It hadn't paid to be an enemy to the superpower with all the credits in the Galaxy, now did it? No. It certainly did not.

There wasn't a time in which Fett could recall a time such as this, a moment in which he hadn't sprung into action from the very beginning, and instead await his time on the sidelines. Resembling a reserve, something to throw in a last ditch effort. Flattering, surely, yet disinteresting to be sure. His armoured figure resided on the aerial observation platform, almost motionless if not for the swivelling of his head and subtle flailing of the side-cloak. To see Veiere Arenais in such a state not long after Fett's would-be liberation of him was disappointing, to say the least. Some were incapable of staying out of trouble it seemed.

Fett's T-Visor washed over the area ahead of him. The flurry of colourful, yet deadly lights reflected straight from his visor. Much in the same manner the explosions that rocked the stars had. His Carbine held lazily within his arms, the rest of his arsenal ready to be deployed within a moment's notice.

Keen attention was cast over Veiere. It was nothing personal, really. Fett was aware of his capabilities is all, he was certainly dangerous.

Objective: Protect the Shield Generators
Allies: CSA, [member="Jyoti Nooran"]
Opposition: TSE
Directly Engaging: Shield Generator Opposition.

Abilities Active: Battle Meditation (SJO/CSA)

Commenor was in flames, and Josh's heart hurt for his friend [member="Lady Kay"] who was surely somewhere in the city still fighting. He had hoped to find her amongst all this, and if needed help her get away. Or perhaps even take down the Sith Empire. But the attack had come far sooner than anyone could anticipate. The Silver Jedi Order could only help with evacuating their Embassy. As for Josh, he had come to do what he could for Commenor and his friend. They had enough people evacuating the Embassy... It was time to defend the Shield Generator and try to hold the Sith off for as long as they could.

Riding in the speeder, Josh's eyes were closed, his senses reaching out for threats. But most importantly, he had activated Battle Meditation for all CSA and Silver Jedi units on the field. While it was more focused, it was at it's strongest. He would be able to keep it up during the fighting, but it would be weaker. So for now... He was just trying to give them what advantage he could in the time that they were waiting to arrive at the generator.

BATTLE MEDITATION ACTIVE FOR CSA/SJO FORCES

Location: Chasin City
Allies: [member="Beth Australis-Mantis"] | [member="Tom Taff"] | SJO and CSA allies
Enemies: TSE and allies
Objective: Survive the panic crowds.

Kat had decided to go wander the streets of Chasin City, the embassy was getting crowded and there was an air of stiffness. People were worried and terrified of the Sith Empire invading Commenor. Their movements were bold and dangerous, it was actions of people thinking they were on a victory warpath. Kat was hoping that this would end soon, she worried about the Sith invading Eshan and the effects of that on her family. Having ties to a Jedi, that would make them targets to blackmail Kat or just outright murder them. Both options were ones that Kat hated, not wanting to face them in the near future.

Looking around, she heard gasps and saw people pointing to the sky. Looking up, Kat saw the beginning of the end. The Sith Empire had arrived. Shield had gone up in defense against the invaders, crowds were in panic and running around like headless chickens. Kat had to take a deep breathe herself, calming her mind that was in a worried panic of what to do, what was going to happen and how was Kat going to cope with all this? No, no. Kat could do this, she had been a Ranger before being a Jedi, she had trained to deal with combat situations like this. Looking around, she still noticed that everyone was rushing in panics to bunkers.

"Everyone! Please, calm down! Move in a calm manner! The CSA and the SJO will protect you, evacs will be organised shortly to help you guys get to safety!" Kat shouted over the cries and panicked shouting. It was difficult to offer them hope when Kat didn't feel very hopeful, the Galactic Alliance was crippled by attacks recently and now Commenor, Silver Jedi Order could be next. What would happen if they were next? Could they stop the Sith who seemed on a non-stop road to destroying all peaceful factions. She looked around to see if there was anyone else who could help her deal with the scared citizens.

In Umbris Potestas Est
Upon landing in a transport with a large number of Dark Troopers and Radtroopers, Vanessa immediately began an advance on the ground towards the location of [member="Lady Kay"]. The Oppressor-15 Dark Troopers were some of the finest war machines ever in Sith hands, and they absorbed the blaster fire of the average Commenori ground troops rather effectively as the Phase Zeroes provided rear support with their own plethora of weaponry, a small cacophony of destruction pillowing towards the palace.

Until they came to the force field. A collapse building was serving as adequate cover, for now at least, but they had no clue as to how to successfully penetrate it. That would take some serious thinking.

Anden Fancelo

Command Post, Sith Trenchline, Commenor
Minutes before the tasking of the objective took place, Lieutenant Fancelo remained idle within the bunker, sitting on the floor with his back against the bulkhead of a small corridor. Occasionally a soldier passed by, Gravewalker or Legionary. It didn't bother Fancelo as he kept to himself, pulse rifle leaning to the wall beside the young officer. The lieutenant brushed his gloved fingers against his chestplate, feeling the somewhat worn texture of it. Recalling the events that brought wear to his armor, it reminded of Carmine's incapacitated state. Fancelo sighed in thought of what had occurred to the unfortunate sergeant. Although Carmine always talked a lot, he had a determination to keep the soldiers he fought alongside, cared for. Coming from a large and abundant family, Carmine was open to offering his home to the squad. They were his second family after all. The pleasant experiences he had there, only to be followed by the despair of the family hearing that the most charismatic of the family, may not make it. It filled Fancelo with dread, he has lost soldiers before but never lost one he's considered a brother or sister. The thought of losing Carmine made him drift off from reality and into a plane of anxiety.

A grunt was made by the Lieutenant, as he snapped out of it. The lieutenant looked up and found a fellow Gravewalker, one of his squadmates. Maxevan.

"Sir, Colonel Thumahra has called leadership in. They're at the room." Maxevan stated, offering a hand to the lieutenant.

The lieutenant took the hand, in gratitude. "Thank you, Maxevan. I'll... head there now, head back to Onyx and await further instruction." He ordered. Patting the man's shoulder once he finally rose. Giving a helmeted nod.

"Aye, sir." Maxevan obeyed, replying with the same nod and rushing off to where the rest of Onyx was.

Fancelo left in the corridor, grabbed a hold of his pulse rifle and slung it to his side, patting the weapon as he made his way to the main room in the Command Bunker, from there he met with the other members of leadership of the 12th. Being granted his objective and task, Fancelo regrouped with the rest of Onyx on the trenchline relaying the task to Onyx squad, this time with more troopers within it. After the information was given, Fancelo turned over to the field, where blood is to spill, where it's ground is to tear asunder. With the order from Colonel Thumahra, Onyx Squad and the other elements, fixed their bayonets onto their rifles. Onyx was on standby, and so were the many alongside them.
